Peter Pettigrew is a cowardly and treacherous wizard. He was once a friend of Harry Potter's father but betrayed him and his wife to Voldemort out of cowardice, leading to their deaths at hands of the dark wizard. He then murdered 12 Muggles before hiding for a little over a decade in his animagus form of a rat, framing Sirius for his crimes.
