Peppy Hare is a member of the Starfox Team. He serves as an adviser and is very knowledgeable about many things. Peppy was a member of the old Starfox Team that was run by Fox' father, James McCloud, but after a horrible epidemic that killed James and left Peppy as the soul survivor, the old team disbanded completely. Soon enough, the new Starfox team was formed with not only himself and Fox McCloud, but also consisting of Slippy Toad and Falco Lombardi.
Ultimate Story[]
Peppy had been part of the Ultimate Story from the very beginning. He made his appearance in Ultimate Story The Beginnings. He was part of the Starfox team, much like in the Starfox series, however, he is very well aware of the existence of magic as well as being very knowledgeable about it and a fast learner in the fields. When Misty first revealed her true form to the team for the first time, Peppy had already known some things about it but was completely unaware that he would ever come face-to-face with the legend. Having known some things about this, he made certain that everyone remained cautious about it and was hoping that Misty would choose to have her friends keep it a secret. From there, he and the rest of the Starfox team made a pact to keep her powers a secret.
During Ultimate Story the Missing Link, Peppy was able to find out how to use his crest that was given to him by Ly to copy powers to his will. He obtained the power from the rabbit talisman which gave him superspeed.
Also from his crest, he, along with Fox, Slippy and Falco, obtained each of the Ocean Princess' Guardian Jewels with him obtaining Corto, the Wise Guardian. This gave him the ability to breath underwater and keep up with the Ocean Princess.
