The Darken Gathering[]
Clu was thought to be dead by his followers and since General Tesler was demoted from failing Clu many times, the treacherous second in command Pavel climbed his way into the ranks to become the new leader of The Grid and was approached by Darkonda to get rid of Paige from leading Clu's remaining army into soft-headed weaklings. Both of them succeeded in ridding her by making sure she failed in defeating The Darken Gathering's army for the people to doubt her leadership. From here on Pavel made negotiations that would ensure that everyone will be okay with The Darken Gathering as their new allies making him a "hero" by The Grid inhabitants praise. Paiges votes dropped down and Pavel became the new commander in chief of Clu's remaining army, including the black guards, which he ordered to escort Paige out of here. Pavel said to Darkonda, "This is the beginning of a new friendship." Darkonda agreed saying, "Indeed. Now then...about your end of the bargain: you will join the Darken Gathering and become my sixth in command as I need an individual of your cunning and ruthlessness to lead my army into victory and destroy all hopes and dreams of the heroes and rival villains." Pavel smiles and says, "It will be my pleasure."
