The B Team Storyline[]
Patrick was supposedly the friend of Spongebob and it was thought he could be trusted but he sold out all of his friends for pizza to Slade and his team and he tried to kill Spongebob for not wanting to help him. Joker took advantage of this and lured him away from Slade and Patrick sold out his universe to the clown and Joker promised revenge on Spongebob for betraying Patrick by giving him his titan virus. Patrick does just so and later on when Sandy is confirmed to survive Patrick tries to kill her for his deceased boss but Bender fights and kills him as payback for betraying M.O.D.A.B.
How he was a villain was because his stupidity made him very easy to manipulate and tempt often he would make Spongebob's and Squidward's lives worse or cause them problems in the later seasons of the series. He is one The4everreival's most hated cartoon characters alongside Mr.Krabs who he uses to love in the cases of them both.
