Nemesis was a normal citizen who became an utter douche bag super villain by a company to commit horrendous crimes, because he was bored with leading a normal life.

This motive also made him joined the Murderistic League, since he always dreamed of teaming up with a bunch of murdering villains to cause as much chaos and destruction to the Multi-Universe.
