Nasty Canasta is a character in the Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes series who made appearances in three cartoons. Created by director Chuck Jones, Canasta is depicted as a tough, hulking, and brutish-looking outlaw and is normally more intimidating than other typical villains. He was originally voiced by Mel Blanc in his first two appearances with Daws Butler voicing him in "Barbary-Coast Bunny".

Act 1[]
Episode 1[]
Nasty Canasta is brought in by Don Bolsa and the other Cartel leaders to help deal with the ongoing rival threat of Slade's Empire and to go purse Bender as the groups have served to be the biggest two threats to their organization. He helped sabotage Slade's Empire attempts at expansion and then works under Professor Chang after they put a hit on the their foes.
Episode 2[]
Nasty is only really seen with Glowface and the others as they discuss plans to do now that Slade's Empire and The B Team have set into Chinatown.
Episode 3[]
Canasta is with El Mal Verde and Pancho Vanilla when it comes to their acitons in The Book of Life Universe as they are causing trouble which alerts Speedy Gonzlaes to get Plata Peligrosa to help out with their situations.
Episode 4[]
He assists El Mar Verde when it comes to trying the medallion of everlasting life that Chakai was unable to claim before Slade and Bender's forces managed to wipe him out. He leads the bandits himself to find it where he comes across Lincoln, Lydia, Android 16, Plata Peligrosa and Speedy Gonzales where he and his bandits go against the latter two. He is spefically thought and outwitted by Speedy Gonzales as the mouse always does to his enemies as Plata goes against the bandits under Canasta. After taking a pummeling, he decides to make another play later on.
Episode 5[]
Realzing the tracker is now out of Anton's hands.and in G-Lo's hands, he decides that they need to get it back for the Cartel, unaware of Anton's own reasoning and he goes with some of the lapdogs to get it back from The heroes and despite his best attempts, he fails to do just that.
Episode 6[]
He assists his fellow gang members by stopping a protest against Milton Midas and kidnaps the water comissoner who begun to stay too much to Morgana, Stan and Wendy on the orders of Pi-Pi and Milton Midas.
Act 2[]
Episode 7[]
Alongside Gaff and Anton, Nasty arrived in Jump City on Professor Chang's orders as the latter caught wind of Slade trying to bust him. So Nasty Canasta is able to get to Slade's first hideout and keeps look out as Anton and Galf assassinate Wintergreen.
Episode 8[]
Nasty Canasta is among those peddling the Bliss with Professor Chang and Pablo under Midas's orders.
Episode 9[]
Alongside some of his men, Nasty goes after the kids with the intent to keep them from doing any damage to Midas's Bliss operations where he goes up against the cop, spy and Android who are more than able to hold him and his men down.
Episode 10[]
Jack Horner, Rocky, Mugsy, Nasty and El Mar Verde all seen attempting to assassinate Pyrrha and her friends. This Toby recongizes as Midas trying to kill them for sneaking around further. Syphia, Lincoln and Lydia all take out some kind of weapon ready to use with the magic in the former case, where as Lincoln does have some water in a watergun which Lydia decides to use the infinity stones to heat up to deal with it, As Toby, his wingman and Pyrrha decide to go deal with this.
Syphia eventually uses her ice powers to keep them at bay and learns that Midas sent them to assassinate them for destroying his Bliss Recipe. Nasty and his other allies also ran across Holden who even they strayed away from.
Episode 12[]
Daffy and Speedy manage to arrive to where they needed to go and discover Vanzilla and another car but they don't see anyone in their and just see pigs. Daffy and Speedy question how are all these pigs here with the duo checking them, The two consider getting the pigs and decide to bring them with them. However to the two's shock, the pigs are caught by Midas's allies Nasty Canasta, Rocky and Mugsy who are bringing them back. Daffy and Speedy both go racing afterwards using hole formula.
He later with Rocky and Mugsy try to capture Frank Underwood for Midas but fails due to unlike he is to Hector and Jack Horner.
Act 3[]
Episode 14[]
With Rocky and Mugsy, Nasty Canasta is sent to deal with Pyrrha and her friends who Milton has become aware that they are looking into his actions.
Episode 15[]
Nasty Canasta is brought in by Pablo and Midas with the intent to kill Jack Sullivan's friends as they outlived their usefulness in favor of using Gosalyn. Nasty attempts to go after and kill the heroes though they are able to get rid of them and now have Jack's friends on Pyrrha's team which he shows concern for making more enemies.
Episode 16[]
Nasty Canasra joins Rocky, Mugsy Pablo Esacabar, Riff Raff and Nasty Canasta to go after Darkwing, Launchpad, Jimmy Neutron and Ada Wong where they attack them to keep them from discovering what the Cartel has done and to capture them for Midas.
Episode 17[]
The aformentioned gang report to Captain Putty on this and that they are told to keep track of the 4 of them. With Pablo Escabar, The criminals discover Leon's corpse and how he was buried by a gun shot to the head which Neutron was able to discover who even did the deed.
Act 4[]
Episode 19[]
He is used as a pawn for Midas's evil schemes so he can stall for time which leads to his arrest at the hands of the law.

Chapter 8: Earth X's Last Stand[]
He joins The Cartel to kill Bender and his friends and takes part in the attempt to assassinate them. He stalks Libby and her friends until the final showdown where he is killed by the heroes respectfully.
