Ms. Grunkle is the villainess in the computer game "JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Haunted Island" and the fourth-grade substitute teacher who turned the kids into monsters and brought them to Haunted Island, which she apparently rules over. Her appearance fits the popular depiction of a witch to a tee, with her having gray skin (although it's blue on the icon), black clothing and a pointed hat. Presumably, she was voiced by Jeannie Elias, since Elias was the only female voice actor credited.

Chapter 2[]
Odalila, Kimora, Carmilla and Rowena recruit Mrs.Grungle who rules over the Haunted Island. to help with their plans on Haunted Island in part to The Chairman and Belos deciding to release Respac to help with the job. Grungle and Respac are both willing to help Belos and The Chairman.
Mrs.Grungle heads off to start the ambush and Respac goes off with Jinx to go after Team Free Will.
As soon as Team Free Will lands on Haunted Island, This is when Mrs.Grungle shows up immediatly with Jinx and they set up a ploy on the team. Everyone is sent in different directions by Grungle who also used some of Rowena's magic on Crowley. Jinx manages to get the others down and Mrs.Grungle does her magic on the heroes.
However Hilda, Lydia and Lincoln are not attacked by the magic as they are saved somehow by another creature that flies the three away from the site. Grungle realizes she missed the bat, but lets the witches handle the work with the monsters on the other side of the island.
Mrs.Grungle turns Anne, Cricket, Ronnie Anne, Truman amd Sasha into monsters and then locks them up in cages like wild animals and with her magic wand after Jinx and the witch ambush them.
Belos and the witches look at their work, Belos realizes that the 3 kids havn't been accounted for. Rowena, Miss Grungle, Respac, Jinx, The Chairman, Odalia, Kikmora and Carmilla all inquire they will do their job. Belos is messing with Ford and knows he can distract him with Grungle's plan, he is aware of Jauna is going to go save Hilda so he can use Hilda's separation to his advantage.
Jinx, Respac and Ms. Grungle will distract and hinder Ford and those that weren't cursed, when asked on his plan to use the others turned into monster for. Belos states he will deliver them to Mina to keep her satisified.
Jinx, Respac and Mrs.Grungle are following Ford, Grime, Larke and Crowley as they complete challnges. Jinx and Mrs.Grungle stall the others, while Respac forces riddle answers and sends to Grime and Larke to the labyrinth. JInx then nearly ambushes Crowley and Ford with The Ghost Council with Respac and Mrs.Grungle as they continue the others even after Grime and Larke escape.
Grime and Crowley despite their number fare well as Crowley manages to kill Belos's soliders with his weapons and Grime manages to knock other ones cold during his encoutner. Kimora and Mrs.Grungle both are taken out with Odalia eventually coming using the abominations and trapping Grime.
Mrs.Grungle is surrounded by all of them and that all of them lay the hurt on Mrs.Grungle with Ford, Anne and Sasha helping Grime get away from Odalia and the 4 prepare to bringher in. Odalia decides to cut her losses and leave. Kikmora, Mrs.Grungle and Rowena leave with her realizing they're done for
Chapter 3[]
Mrs.Grungle and Mina Loveberry end up stumbling upon Sid dealing with Jerry, Luci, Bean and Elfo with Hekapoo. Grungle has Respac go to Brighton with The Chairman and Jinx to make another move after using the Chairman's access to ghosts.
Mina decides to go puruse Sid and Grungle goes along to purse her and Hekapoo, deciding to go after the latter for betraying the Solarian Empire unlike her other allies.
Grungle finds Sid and Hekapoo with Mina in dreamland and they decide to turn Sid into a monster to justify killing her. She contends with Hekapoo as Mina wants Sid for herself. Grungle's magic makes her able to go against Hekapoo efficently, though she isn't completely sure how to deal with her and does lose her duel.
She decides to settle for turing Sid into a monster with Mina pinning her down. To all 3 of their surpise, Sid doesn't turn into a monster or even show symptoms at all of showing behaviour and the magic is nullified completely. Mrs.Grungle and Mina are then snipped by Mike as a result which allows Sid to escape with Hekapoo.
Chapter 4[]
Ms.Grunkle follows the others on Mina's orders and she is ordered to go follow Luz, Willow and Gus to use the divide and conquer plan to allow Belos and Vecna to put their plans to effect. Grunkle observes the magical plants and makes a plan to hinder them to turn them into monsters for Mina to kill for her agenda.
Ms.Grunkle ambushes the three afterwards and faces off with them, she is taken care of by the three and she shows no signs of being fazed, despite this and reports to Belos what they're up to.
Chapter 5[]
Grunkle is busy with Belos making a new plan with their next location in mind which it turns out to be in Castlevania with the Sorceress and they proceed with it after Belos Returns.
Chapter 6[]
The Sorceress and Grunkle encounter Anne, Truman, Sasha and Grime and face them after their own trek as they realized that they were being tracked respectively. She spefically goes up against Sasha and Grime. This ends up being more than she take as they come in close on her and for all her magic she isn't so sure on how to fight hand to hand.
She and her ally are forced to leave respectfully, and when they ask of Rowena, Belos lies and states she just passed on.
Chapter 8[]
She fights for Belos and goes up Ford and meets her demise at his hands to ensure Sid and Luz can get to Belos
