Mr. X is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Cloak-Bot)-turned-supporting protagonist of Season 3 of the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia.
He is a charismatic and eccentric FBI agent who seeks to capture the Plantar family, believing them to be aliens.
Team Free Will: Dissassembled[]
Chapter 1[]
Mr. X is revealed to be the spy who spied on Team Free Will that Anne and Sylvester saw. He reports to Nolan/Omni Man about Team Free Will being in Trolberg and that they are intending to stop him and are investigating his alias.
Nolan tells X to put a stop to it, and to go after them in Chicago. He warns X will mark the spot of his head if he harms his son. Mr. X states he won't do such thing as he takes charge of Steelbeak and the Miller Family with other agents in black to go to Chicago.
Mr X decides to hide himself annoying Steelbeak who was attacked in his attempt to go after Ford. Mr. X decides to take a swipe at Anne, and proves his own formidablness against her. despite being driven off by her.
Mr. X does for his work does find a special stone and hand it to Cleo as she was looking for it. Cleo appreicates his work and thanks Mr.X for it.
Hiding himself while Steelbeak takes charge, he finds an special stone and hands it to Cleo
Chapter 2[]
Working with Professor Marmlade, Mr X devises a way to help M.A.L.I.C.E with their plans. Unaware of aliens being part of the agenda of their boss, Mr.X decides to investigate this when M.A.L.I.CE succeeds in their plans.
Working with Jeff Miller and his family, they find where the 2nd gem is and hand it to Cleo to go after.
He returns to Marmlade and saves him from The Bad Guys by wrecking house with them. He does struggle a bit with Mr.Pirahana, though he doesn't come out defeated as Wolf decides to know when to fold them.
Seeing the 2nd gem in Cleo's dipsoal, Mr.X notes she was successful though unlike Sweet Pete he finds himself wanting to figure what exactly the power of the gems really is.
Chapter 3[]
With Cleo and M.A.L.I.C.E getting the signal that Captain Hero managing to trigger. Cleo recruits Mr. X and Sweet Pete to help out on this as well as Marlamade. Mr. X decides a good decision is to go after Ford and Anne as Mr.X is aware of Nolan constantly talking about Ford. He believes he should capture Ford so Ford won't be able to reveal his history with Nolan to Team Free Will and his possible knowledge on the gems.
Mr. X and Sweet Pete however are trying to get his guard down so Ford can help them with the gems as Ford finds out from them. Ford fights Mr. X and lets Anne deal with him after Ford wears him down. Then Sweet Pete has his men surround Ford ready to excute him for Toffee. Ford tells him Toffee is dead and Sweet Pete reveals the Nano Gauntlet and that it was him that took it from his destroyed home. Toffee instructed him to use it against Ford Pines in the event he was dead as Bill Cipher was intending to have Ford killed if he couldn't have Ford. Sweet Pete states he is going to do just that. Ford realizes Sweet Pete isn't fooling and he pulls his own card getting the other team mates to gun and kill Sweet Pete's agents and force him on the run.
Mr. X realizes that the efforts aren't in his effort and retreats back to base. Mr. X is amused by Ford's resistance and tells Omni Man that he was right to see Ford as his greatest advesary and that it will be inevitable that Ford will reveal what he knows on Omni Man. Nolan states that this is a minor setback, and that is just Ford's move in their game of chess against each other with their teams.
Chapter 4[]
Mr.X takes part in another plan to acquire the Soul Gem with the help of M.A.L.IC.E and their new employee Professor Malestrom. They deal with Larke, Bruce, Selina, Ibuki and Bean and Mr.X once again shows his worth by playing effiectvely against them. Once he realized he is beaten, he and Malefstorm convince the others to retreat.
He is revealed to be the mole in M.A.L.I.C.E, upon realziing they're collbrating with alien life forms and learning what The Smoking Man is truly up to. Mr.X texts Anne and leaves a message for Sid, Scratch, King and Mark infroming what he has found out without revealing himself.
Mr. X decides to keep himself on the low to work against The Smoking Man, relaizing the CIA is involved thanks to Mike. Mr.X ponders who exactly to set on the team in turn.
Chapter 5[]
After Deathstroke, Saul, Mike and Number 2 instill the employment papers for the Bad Guys. They are visited by Mr.X who defected from M.A.L.I.C.E upon learning their true intentions. While The Bad Guys, Joanna and Jaune are suspcious. Mike holds him at gun point to explain his intents and why they shouldn't pull the trigger on him
Mr. X explains to Deathstroke, Saul and Number 2 that M.A.L.I.C.E is working with alien figures which is something he didn't sign up for and he found their actual leader is someone who is advovating it for something in regards to the human race. Mulder and Scully believe Mr.X and realize that CSM is clearly the leader of the team which they had supscions on. Scully asks if Mr.X saw the leader, X confirms that he knows of him and that the man is nuts as he is old. his allegiance to Nolan and Cleo is more of separate plan at this point, both of them as he notes are doing what they think is right for their people or the environment while this guy is more doing this for his own worth.
Jaune De Arc asks who are Nolan and Cleo, X states Nolan is a virtumite and an alien he didn't even know this until recently though. Cleo meanwhile is a human turned mer person who once served Team Free WIll until betraying them thinking they ditched after thinking Toffee killed her. Deathstroke stops him there and states Team Free WIll didn't explain this to him, Mr.X states that who is Toffee to Deathstroke. Deathstroke tells X that Toffee and him both worked for Thawne and that both them betrayed Thawne for opposite reasons and that he assisted the heroes in putting him away for the 1st time. He also knows Sweet Pete is working for Toffee and as Mr.X confirms Sweet Pete being who got the gauntlet and is working on the gems situation with the thought Cleo would spare him as if she gets all six gems she will wipe the humans she deems unworthy will a snap of her fingers.
Deathstroke rolls his eye stating how Thanos of him to do and he recalls how his unoffical free P.I is aware of this himself and that the bespecaled doctor of his contractor found a way to keep them all safe from said snapping according to his colleagues.
Mr.X tells the team that there is a operation sites that might be most useful to investigate and that The Agents and the others should check this out. Mr.Wolf agrees as does Joanna and Jaune that they should investigate. Mr.X gives the others their directions and where to go and sends off the group. Deathstroke requests Webs to stay around for them to keep a bird's eye on the gang
Wolf, Snake, Shark, Pirhana, Mulder, Scully, Joanna and Jauna all arrive at the headquarters that Mr. X sent them off.
Chapter 6[]
Mr.X Helps the team get to their location in Moose Law and upon learning of the Royal Woods situation, he finds where Lydia and Lincoln are and helps them get to the duo stuck in their Royal Woods situation
Chapter 7[]
With Hero, Ford, Amanda, Eclipsa, Sylvester, Tweety, Scratch and the others putting their thoughts to work they decide how to split their work. Scrtach and The Bad Guys explain that they have alien, Spies and their men to deal with and Wolf and his colleagues were searching and found a satleitle that is conncecting to the alien life forms with the help of Mr.X who revealed what he found out on M.A.L.I.C.E and Nolan's ploys
Mulder shows Jauna a file that he undercovered about his former loved one and that he was looking into it and this is what got his interest. Mr.X and Bishop both state the only info they know is the brand of smokes the head puffs.
Bishop, X and Truman check off the Millers ont heir list and decide they need to capture Luranis and as they check with Jauna, Mulder and Scully they decide they need to see who go after him
The three volunteer to do so and Captain Hero and Luz both show up saying that they want to help too with this. Mulder agrees that they can come along. Agent Bishop and Mr.X do warn the agents that fire arms aren't the way to do it in particular mere pistols. Mulder explains he can handle himself in a fight. Bishop over feels slightened a little leavened
Truman leads the pack knowing Cyborgs and with alien parts, he proceeds to use his tecnhology all against Alpha. Alpha puts a good fight against Truman and even grabs him with intent to kill him immemdaitly. Mr.X manages to free him and allows Betty and Agent Bishop to basically do the dirty work and against him. Eventually leads into Bishop tying him to a missle and sending him out
Betty and Truman comment that it was Lincoln's orders to bring them back alive, Agent Bishop concedes but Alpha is too dangerous to be left alive and he needs to get rid of him. Mr. X is on their side and states that what's been done is done.
Epilogue[]
Mr. X realizes that The Smoking Man leaked out the info to the press about Lydil Red being Lydia Lopez and realizes that Team Free WIll is in danger once more not that they have been protecting a child vilgante. KNowing that even his government powers are limited, Mr.X decides that a good idea is to consider relocating and extracting. Saul knows a guy for this and hands Mr. X a card and he drives Team Free Will to the Vaccumm Store
With everyone having to back, Mr. X helps get some of the heroes packed in their new location and decides to check up on them weekly before bringing them back to their regular lives.
Countdown To Chang's Guide To The Galaxy[]
Chapter 1[]
Agent Bishop and Mr.X both enter with their reports they hand to him. As The President reads the reports. Bishop adresses that Irken Invaders have landed on the planet according to his investigation as well as Lord Dregg of his franchise's world and that there may be more on the way.
Deathstroke asks what Mr.X was able to find. Mr.X states that Dregg is indeed part of an alien kind of empire and that Irken Invaders are part of an empire based on how tall they are, his reports indicate that the tallest of their species is the leader. Mr.X further states that he looked into a kid with a big head and a paranormal obession and that he learned that he suspected a person from his school was an irken invader
Deathstroke asks about the kid feeling he knows him, Mr. X states that he was created by his so called father, but his real father has passed on and it was made to look like an accident. Agent Bishop comments on how it's always made to look that it seems, but his real father may have discovered something and that he needed to be silenced
Deathstroke asks if Mr.X meet him, Mr.X confirms this as he was actually at the funeral investigating and learning about the situation. He asked The paranormal kid into the Irkens about stuff like this and his little girlfriend spilled a lot out.
Deathstroke states that Mr.X has meet the people he himself knows through his agent. Mr.X states that they don't know he's with the president and that's he just an agent.
A Knock on the door is heard and Agent Bishop gets it and sees it's Ford and Omni Man who have arrived to his office. Deathstroke, Agent Bishop and Mr.X question this as Ford is supposed to be in hiding with the rest of Team Free Will.
Ford says that Nolan came to get him and that he needed his help with something so he left the cabin to help him and got some of his other bandmates to watch Luz. Deathstroke tells Ford he was supposed to and now they can be comproimsed with what was on the news.
Ford questions what news and Agent Bishop shows him Homelander's declare of Manhunt on Team Free Will. Ford asks who he is and Mr.X tells Ford he is the head of Vought Coroporation and that while he looks like a typcial america loving hero, he is really an insane attention seeking murder according to what they were told with The Bad Guys.
Bruce Wayne and Larke Tanner arrive just like Ford and Nolan, Deathstroke comments does his security just let everyone in and that did anyone really listen. Bruce states with the death of this other guy called Bruce Wayne, he is techinally off the suspcion which Ford agrees to.
Bruce explains that he was wanting to investigate to see what kind of conspiracy was up if someone had to kill someone known by his name as well. Selina knew he couldn't help himself but let him do so and that she herself was just as suspcious. He did notice that Mr.X was there too at the massive funeral and that he was questioning kids about the aliens and that one happened to be his son.
Mr. X questions how did Bruce figure that out, Bruce says he has ways. Bruce shows that the memorial is a long serving one and that people are going to try and figure out who did the deed and that he can get around it. Mr.X then asks about the monsters Larke was talking about.
Larke said that it felt like it was unsual for such beings to appear and that it felt like a corporation was making them.
As if that wasn't enough Mr.Wolf and the Bad Guys enter as well and tell him that they found his P.I and told him what Deathstroke wanted them to know. Mr.X and Agent Bishop both instruct the others that they are ready to take this to space and that with the ship the Spartian and Arbiter has, they can head off and stop the ongoing invasions.
Mr. X, Agent Bishop, Master Chief, Betty and The Arbiter then head off to get their space ship ready for the upcoming battle,
Agent Bishop, Mr.X, Betty, Master Chief and Arbiter get The Bad Guys, Deathstroke, Ford, Nolan, Bruce and Larke and tell them that the ship is ready and that are ready for take off.
Kamela tells Deathstroke and Mr.X that she is in on the ship with them and that she will emerge once it's needed.
Kamela tells the two that someone else was watching Homelander put his man hunt on the Team Free WIll team and it's someone not of this multiverse, meaning that Ace and Hilda weren't the only two that crossed over from here.
Chapter 2[]
Deathstroke and his allies Agent Bishop, Kamela and Mr.X communicate with Deathstroke's allies and learn that Intergang may be an issue and should keep an eye out for Bruno Mannheim incase he tries anything. Deathstroke and Bishop do some look into them and they do notice Intergang could be an issue but they can proably deal with them. Mr.X asks Deathstroke about his allies and Deathstroke explains that they are his group led by his private investigator other than Mr.Entermuahut and his scientist in the business. Kamela also goes saying that she met them as well from his main henchmen so she knows they are on to something.
Deathstroke also learns about Sid being busted by Intergang, hence why they coomuciated with them and that Lisa ran away to be with her. Deathstroke and Mr.X are a bit questioning how she was found, They realize that someone was looking in on Team Free Will potentially without them realizing it. Agent Bishop considers maybe looking into Mulder and Scully
Master Chief, Arbiter, The Bad Guys and Mr.X all head off to Virtum as they are unaware of what lies ahead with Maximus and his men waiting for an attack. Mr. X leads the way to make sure the crew isn't ambushed, he is thankful Deathstroke allowed to make and use tech for his alien work.
Mr.X and The Bad Guys manage to knock out some guards and disguise themselves as Vritumites so they can get into a base. Mr.X and The Bad Guys to keep an eye on Maximus insitgating an attack.
Mr. Shark being a master of disguise manages to fool everyone with his disguise as a Virtum, and they keep the rest of the spices sedated. Using Mr.Snake's safe cracking skills, he cracks the combo with Mr.Wolf, Mr.X and Webs getting into the empire room of Thragg as it becomes very obvious that Thragg is the tyrant of Virtum and that Nolan is intending to overthrow him and this is why Ford is here, so Nolan and Ford can lead the former's race into an age of peace and civility. Mr.Wolf and Webs hack the alien techology and learn Thragg's real intentions.
Thragg's real intentions is that he is in league with Homelander and Homelander is trying to weaken his resisance so Thragg can allow the strong to suriive and to take his revenge on both Nolan and his son Mark. Mr.X and Webs manage to keep their hacking going ahead. With Mr.Wolf keeping look out, and he notices something that his team is gone.
Maximus manages to kidnap the Bad Guys Mr. Shark, Mr.Snake and Mr.Pirhana with his cat aliens and have brought up to this ship.
Mr.Wolf and Webs both question how this is how happened, Maximus says he saw through the diguise even that shark though he does admit Shark has a better disguise. Mr.X and Mr.Wolf decide to fight him, though Maximus has his men go after them while he makes an escape.
Mr.X and Mr.Wolf manage to catch up to Master Chief,Arbiter and Webs who are purusing Maximus yet again. The 5 of them are smart enough to puruse Maximus, who again sends his men after him. Master Chief and Arbiter easily mow through his men as Mr.X manages to catch up and captures Maximus easy. Mr.X, Wolf and Webs interrgorate the cat on where the other bad guys are. Maximus refuses to answer, though Mr.X, Master Chief And Arbiter all decide to force a talk and keep him hostage.
Ford, Nolan, Bruce, Kamela, Larke, Deathstroke, Agent Bishop, Betty and Crpto arrive with the ship with the Virutmites all at war, those following Nolan and others following Thragg. So they can prepare a new plan to resuce Mr.Snake, Mr.Pirhana and Mr.Shark. Mr.X has Maximus brought to a cell so he can inttergorate him about the info and how to ultimately get the crew back.
Everyone goes after Dregg, The Almightly Tallest and the Virtumites. Ford puts on a space helmet and gets his stuff to fight Thragg and Nolan is ready to fight the alien.
Despite the resisance of them all, they are still one ship against a fleet and it looks to be the end until another ship manages to arrive and stop the forces from destroying the ship and magnets the crew up
After being saved by the Reisty and Rocket, Betty, Mr. X, Mr.Wolf and Webs decide to help Larke and Bruce to get info out of Maximus.
Chapter 3[]
Ford calls in Master Chief, Arbiter, Cyrpto, Rocket Raccoon, Agent X and Kamela, he gives them all a mission. Ford implores them to go after another potential alien group, that he has been checking up from his bed
Deathstroke isn't pleased that Ford is burning his energy and tells him to take it easy. Agent X agrees with Deathstroke as does Kamela.
Rocket requests to get a resistance ready, Ford and Nolan implore him to wait. Rocket asks if Mr.X has anything
Mr.X does have something and that Bishop and the others will be aquiring info possibly Maximus IQ as he was captured and they will break him.
Master Chief, Arbiter, Rocket Raccoon, Crypto and Mr.X are all traveling to get closer to their onoging destination. Mr.X overlooks things and states they are closing in and it looks like alien pirates and it's being led by The Omega Pirate
Master Chief questions about Ridley?, he thought he'd be there. Mr. X looks into the data and states Ridley is gone by the looks of it and that the commanders seem to be non exixtent and states Samus must have just killed all of them
The Ship is invaded by Space Pirates and Master Chief, Arbiter and Cypto all get their weapons and being facing off with pirates while taking them all to insure Mr.X to be able to take them to the base.
Rocket jumps in and the 4 all begin fending off all the Pirate Troopers, while Mr.X is working to shake the rest of them off them.
Master Chief, The Arbiter, Mr.X, Kamela Khan, Cypto and Rocket Raccoon all managed to keep the ships off them. Mr.X however does prompt them that they may have to take the base for themselves or damage it.
Kamela decides to take an immediate action and goes headfirst in into the base. Mr.X decides to let this go and gets the rest to hear him out.
They learn from Transfer Getaways from Mr.X which he reveals to the crew respectfully. He tells Master Chief and Arbiter to help out with Kamela in dealing with them. Rocket, Cypto and himself will keep stalling them so no one can deal with Master Chief, Arbiter and Kamela .
Mr.X, Crpyto and Rocket are unexpectingly are dealing with The Martians are attacking once more and the same ones that Lincoln, Lydia, Mulder, Scully, Saul and Mike saw before. Despite all their success against the Pirates, The Martians do pretty much take them offguard to the point that Master Chief, The Arbiter and Kamela instantly return to base to help them.
Betty, Larke, Bruce, Agent Bishop, The Bad Guys, Mr.X, Master Chief, Arbiter, Cypto, Rocket and Kamela all return back from their expoditions to see the three who arrive with their new ship
Bruce, Betty, Bishop and Mr.X realize Maximus got away on their accord and they count it as not much of a loss. Betty knew he was going to escape but at least The Bad Guys are safe, and finally makes the connection that Minmus isn't with him, Bruce having caught a lot on him catches this too realizing yes something is up.
Mr.X and Agent Bishop feel that's not necessary but do decide to tell Deathstroke, Ford and Nolan about what they did find out as Did The Bad Guys
Deathstroke, Ford, Nolan, Mr.Wolf and The Bad Guys, Agent Bishop and Mr.X all end up discussing that they know The Smoking Man was the one behind all this, the alien invasions and most of what they dealt with last time. However Mr.X tells them about The Martians that invaded them and that it seems they were on CSM's orders to hunt and kill a white haired boy and a red headed girl for something they did a while ago.
Chapter 4[]
As the rest of the crew tole away on their own stuff, Mr.X does investigating on the Conspiracy with Bishop, Deathstroke and Kamela. Upon receiving some new from Deathstroke's contract Diana with Mr.Wolf and his crew, in regards to what was dug up on The Russian side of things.
Kamela and Deathstroke consider getting more benevolent alien life to help them though Bisho and X are not really buying this for the most part as Mr. X's case learns to his need to prove their exixtence for his other supreriors
The 4 decide to eventually beeline to Tazmarian as Deathstroke and Kamela override him and the others and they inform the crew and go there.
Joining Deathstroke and his allies, he sets forth to establish the treaty of alliegances, though this is inteterrupted by Blackfire and other alien allies. Mr.X with Rocket and Betty decide to deal with Maximus IQ to reatilaite for destorying their ship and forcing him to escape.
They manage to best him, but he gets away sad to say. Fortunatly he over hears what Bruce and Mr.Wolf found and Mr.X can confirm the case of M.A.L.I.C.E's actions to them that CSM was indeed involved in this as he did leave the group shortly after CSM's role was revealed.
Chapter 5[]
Mr. X discusses with Deathstroke, Agent Bishop and Kamela how to proceed forward knowing of this operation Countdown, Kamela intends to expose it. Though Mr.X is against the idea of exposing the CSM, though this is because of his ability to cover things and his high connections to Vought. Having once worked for the guy, before, Mr.X knows how dangerous Smoking Man is and on top of that. Mr.X knows CSM managed to throw M.A.L.I.C.E, under the bus and get rid of all possible connections to him other than Bender and Anti Comso encountering his former allies which X couldn't have known about.
Both him and Anget Bishop otice a capsule and decide to inspect it, X's reasons are to expose the idea of highly dangerous alien life. This is proven correct and helping his crew, they put the Heavy Lobster into a bisque basically. Deciding to let Betty take control of where to head last, he and Bishop ask the heroine where and Betty knows exactly where to go.
Chapter 6[]
Mr.X joins Agent Bishop and his crew in helping Truman, Mulder and Scully with the head crabs.After dealing with both some reinforements and the headcrabs they succeed
Contacting the others, they manage to regroup, but are too late to stop Thragg and his own invasion.
Finale[]
Rocket, RJ, Crpyto and Mr. X are sent to deal with The Martians CSM has working to colonize humanity. Using Arbiter, Master Chief and Betty distracting General Z-9, they manage to take out the aliens forces before getting vaporized themselves
This allows Ford and Nolan to deal with Thragg a bit easier as well as he doesn't have any reinforcments. Working with Deathstroke's associates, the 4 manage to squash any other alien that could come their way
Afterwards, Mr.X decides on what now, and Deathstroke has him go to assist in cleaning up the situation and getting the highlights on what happened to Vought.

Book 2: Interlude[]
Mr.X Resurfaces to assist The Streaming Resistance on Deathstroke's orders to deal with Mornado and his allies for the time being as Deathstroke has an idea about Anne, Sasha and Marcy he wants to test and figures if Mr.X can help deal with this, then he continue to test the trio if needed for their powers.
Book 3: Culmination[]
Mr. X having learning of what happened with Sprig and Anne's arrival in Calfornia, he puts on a show to keep testing them for the President as a way to help Deathstroke and Bender prepare for an invasion that he believes is immient. Mr.X is more than able to hold down with them and uses a duplicate to do this as he observes their progress and informs the president of it.
