Mothra

Mothra (モスラ Mosura^?) is a beautiful moth kaijū who first appeared in Toho's 1961 film Mothra. Mothra has appeared in several Toho tokusatsu films, most often as a recurring character in the Godzilla franchise. She is typically portrayed as a colossal sentient caterpillar or moth, accompanied by two miniature humanoids speaking on her behalf.

Powers and Abilities[]

Strength - Mothra is quite strong as she can shatter buildings and drag Godzilla by his tail
Durability - Mothra is quite durable as she can survive direct hits from missiles and other kaiju.
Wings - Mothra can use her wings to fly but also to smack foes
Scales - Mothra can generate scales from her wings that can heal other characters and reroute attacks from other characters.
Telepathy - Mothra can telepathically communicate.
Silk - Mothra can shoot out a thick silk webbing that can trap foes or distract them.
Wind - Mothra can form hurricane force winds when flapping her wings rapidly.
Beam Pulser - Mothra can fire laser beams for her Antenna.
Lightning - Mothra can shoot arcs of lightning from her wings.
Stinger - Mothra can has a large stinger that she can use to shank foes, she can also shoot out dozens of stingers at foes.
Eye Beams - Mothra can shoot out large blue beams from her eyes.
Reincarnation - If Mothra dies she'll lay or magically produce another Egg with she'll hatch out of and will be reborn.

LOTM: The Angels Return[]

Mothra was leading the kaiju who came to aid Godzilla and the rest of Team Disney Angel in the battle against Destoroyah. She was able to use her healing power to not only heal Team Disney Angel, but also to cripple Destoroyah and destroy all the Heartless who had been attracted to the evil in his heart.

Later, just before Team Disney Angel left, Mothra came to them and declared that she was going with them. If worst came to worst, she could easily get back to the Godzilla universe. Because Mothra had saved Godzilla's life and prevented a tremendous heartache from seizing her, Angewomon actually pleaded with Mothra to come.

Then Mothra revealed something to Godzilla that she had harbored for a long time but was clueless as to how to tell him: she was in love with him!
