Yukikaze Mizuki (水城 ゆきかぜ) is the protagonist of the Taimanin Yukikaze visual novel series and OVA. She is a prodigy Taimanin, well known for her extremely strong "Lighting Art". Yukikaze is given missions in Gosha Academy, together with her best friends, Rinko and Tatsurou.
Appearance[]
Yukikaze is a young looking woman with a small physique, with long brown hair worn in pigtails, small bust, and a deep tan in the shape of a one piece swimsuit. This tan has become permanent and hasn't disappeared even when being indoors for weeks. Her Taimanin uniform is a mostly black and red leotard-like battle suit.
Her Under Eden slave uniform consisted of a semi-transparent white, two-piece micro bikini with thin long white gloves and no stockings. Her high heels were white.
Undercover as a Seishu Academy student, she wears the Seishu Academy Female Student Uniform and later on the black, revealing secret elite uniform.
Personality[]
Yukikaze is an energetic and upbeat girl, with tsundere tendencies and a pettanko chest, she overall has a very small body. She has a complex about the small size of her chest and loses her temper if she feels insulted in that regard. Yukikaze wears her emotions on her sleeves, crying and cheering the loudest around her friends. However, dealing with strangers, she doesn't talk a lot, as she gets shy. In reality Yukikaze does not have many friends, as new people interpret her few words and reactions as the once of an aloof genius, therefore thinking, she's not interested in being their friends. Making her mind up quickly about others she deems lazy, shady or rude also can make her hard to deal with.
Naive, very stubborn and boastful at times, Yukikaze however, deeply cares and trusts her friends and will always try to comfort them when they need it. Yukikaze feels pride for being a Taimanin and wants to be respected for it, wishing to become just like her mother. With her clothes being designed like her mother's old Taimanin costume. Yet in contrast to her boasts to friends, she is insecure and worries that her skills are far below her mentors, mother and her best friend Rinko. However, she will almost never voice such personal worries, further isolating her.
Yukikaze loves to play first-person shooters and is enthusiastic about e-sports, she has a famous pro FPS streamer persona, and an expensive gaming setup but reveals this only to close friends. She likes to be active outside as well, mostly swimming or rushing to her favorite sweet shop "Inageya".
Erotic or romantic topics seem to turn her red of embarrassing, as she has the issues expressing her real wants and is just clumsy about addressing her wishes.
Relationships[]
Akiyama Rinko[]
They are best friends, Rinko acts like her older sister and confidant. Yukikaze is supported by Rinko's guidance and will observe what Rinko does or listen to her advice. Just like her mother Yukikaze idolizes Rinko as an ideal Taimanin, which can give her a blind spot, if not outright backfire, if Rinko is corrupted in the bad endings or gives not the best advice. In fact, Yukikaze when witnessing Rinko's lewd actions will have the desire to do the same right next to her.
They talk about private worries or happy moments, as kids they kissed to test it out and are also open about erotic manners. Yukikaze does feel some attraction to Rinko and is jealous of Rinko large bust. After Shizuru reveals Rinko's romantic interest in Tatsurou, Yukikaze states that it is okay, as long as it is Rinko, but also adds that she is her rival in love now. The same dynamic can develop in the Online Universes with Fuuma Kotaro.
