Daniel, also known as Mindstorm, is a supporting antagonist in Season 3 of the 2019 Amazon adaptation of The Boys.
He is a telepathic supe, was a member of Vought's superhero team Payback, and suffered from habitual abuse from his team leader, Soldier Boy. During Operation Charly, he participated in betraying Soldier Boy to the Russians and later became a recluse due to sensory overload. In 2022, he was confronted and killed by Soldier Boy, who returned to kill his former teammates for their betrayal.

Mindstorm served as the last member of Payback for Solider Boy to hunt down other than Noir and he set up a trap and entrapped the entire team apart from Slade, Anti Cosmo and Mop Girl. When Solider Boy has to deal with those he brainwashed and upon the rest of the heroes escaping. Mindstorm is found by the heroes and Solider Boy
Pinned Mindstorm tells Soldier Boy that Black Noir was the main instigator of the idea to sell him out and that Vought gave the green light to do this in favor of a new supe. He ends being killed by Solider Boy mutilating him with his shield.
