Melony is a major character in the SMG4 series.
She is a minor character in Season 9, a supporting character in Season 10, one of the secondary antagonists of The YouTube Arc, the deutertagonist of Season 11 and the Genesis Arc, a major character in The SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special, and the main protagonist of Season 12 and the Revelations Arc. During The YouTube Arc, she joined the Anti-Cast as Meggy Spletzer's doppelganger and was sent by SMG3 to Meggy's debut in SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon to prevent Mario from being friends with Meggy by knocking him out while he was watching the announcement for the Splatfest. In the finale of the arc, Melony and the rest of the Anti-Cast was motivated to turn against SMG3 by SMG4's Gang, and after her former leader's banishment to the Internet Graveyard, she officially joined the gang. She was transformed into a human by the Fierce Deity Mask, affecting her appearance and voice in subsequent episodes, as well as granting Melony deity powers.
