Melisandre, also known as The Red Woman, is a character from A Song of Ice and Fire aka Game of Thrones. She is a priestess of R'hllor, also known as the Lord of Light, and is one of Stannis Baratheon's close advisers. In the second season of the TV series adaption, she and Stannis act as the secondary antagonists.
