Megamind is the protagonist and titular character of the 2010 Dreamworks film of the same name. He is a blue-skinned alien lifeform who takes on the role of a super-intelligent supervillain hellbent on destroying his oldest foe Metro Man and taking over Metro City, in which he eventually succeeds.
Instead of finding satisfaction he realizes that without superheroism, villany has no purpose, and he goes on to create a new superhero. This method backfires and he is forced to stop his own creation, in the process realizing his new role in life - as a superhero himself.
He is voiced by Will Ferrell.
