Mandarin is an antagonistic character in the television show Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!. Mandarin is the infamous 'sixth' monkey, who was the original leader of the Super Robot Monkey Team. He is orange which explains Chiro's color scheme. He is different than the other monkeys who are part robot while he is not, which explains why he has orange gauntlets to emit his energy sword and shield and has armor. At some point before the time line of the show, he decided that he was too powerful to merely protect Shuggazoom, and decided he should rule it instead. The other monkeys defeated him and sent him into space in a prison ship similar to a giant ring, but when Chiro finds some of Mandarin's old equipment in his room and activates it, it reawakens Mandarin. Mandarin easily takes control of the ship and flies toward Shuggazoom.
TGTTA 2[]
Mandarin was sealed away in a ancient relic Disney forgotten character and was released by Toffee to serve the villains which he and NOS-4A2 do very much and he fights Attari and Axel slightly before returning to make his allegiance to Eobard Thawne and the legion
Mandarin and NOS-4A2 afterward enter with news that they have sought out someone new, to join them. Toffee is curious who it is but Mandarin having searched the guide of dangerous and mysterious multiverse beings tell him that they must find the right time to bring in this one, which NOS-4A2 says will be done. When The Flying Dutchman manages to bring his ghost ship up to take the team to where Toffee is currently residing. Toffee has expected their arrival and this is when Celes approaches him and threatens him to send Buu back to his timeline. Toffee just sics NOS-4A2 on her and Mandarin joins with Leonard and Lisa working against them both with their guns respectively
Toffee also takes NOS-4A2 and Mandarin with him in regards to the Legends as he mentions that they must find an another ally to their cause which Mandarin wonders who as does NOS-4A2 but Toffee is pretty sure who it is.
When Grovyle and Kyle find a Time Gar,, NOS-4A2 emerges out of the shadows and tries to bite Grovyle with Kyle planning to attack him where Mandarin ambushes him and grabs him with Toffee emerging there congratulating them for finding the Time Gear and that using them was the key. Toffee takes the Gear for himself and search's Grovyle's pocket taking the 2nd one.
As Toffee, Mandarin and NOS-4A2 go together they take the time gears and Toffee presents them to Thawne. Thawne pleased with this and speeds off and puts them back in the base, deciding to keep Grovyle from this. Nate swears that they will get The Time Gears back from Thawne and the Legion and fix the timeline before getting a good scent of Mandarin and his monkey paws. It turns out these paws take them to the beach and this is where Thawne is waiting for them. Grovyle demands the time gears, but Thawne refuses to do so, Grovyle goes after Thawne deciding to attack to get a chance at them back, Thawne however stops Grovyle and body slams Grovyle, where Mandarin waits for him to claw on him. Thawne challenges the others to attack him and NOS-4A2 emerges to attack again with Amaya and Kyle deciding to fight the vampire with Nate with Wally planning to fight Thawne himself.
Mandarin and Grovyle unlike Kyle seem to be more even matched, as there are both rather agile and seem to be even matched. Mandarin uses his mind scream on Grovyle which does stun him and Grovyle gets harmed, Grovyle then bullet seeds him then pounds him. Mandarin goes for another one but Grovyle digs underground and surprises Mandarin. Mandarin uses his gauntlets to make a shield and sword and clashes with Grovyle's leaf blade and causes them both to reel back with Grovyle landing on a tree and Mandarin going back to Toffee who's waiting for him.
Mandarin works against the heroes again using his powers and cunning to keep the heroes from getting the spear of destiny parts. He is also seen working with Toffee and NOS-4a2 On a secret plan where Toffee has his own agenda, they also recruit more followers to work for them and Thawne. Mandarin kills The Teen Titans Go par Starfire when they try to report what Toffee, NOS-4A2 and him are up to. Mandarin is not seen with the spear as Toffee needs him to keep under fire.
Mandarin nearly kills the heroes and is rewarded for his work helping Bill and he then forces the rest of the villains to work with Cipher as Toffee takes over the rest of the legion, With his and NOS-4A2's help, Toffee take over the Magic Kingdom and uses it as a base and then he attacks Mewni with NOS-4A2 and Rodney and causes a lot of damage, he is then sent by Toffee to attack Lydia for the notes on Cipher which he takes joy in doing. While they get away, Mandarin destroys the bunker and then is finally killed by Luan Loud's deadly pranks.
Return to Hyrule[]
Mandarin was one of the monkeys hanging out in the Lost/Faron Woods, while Misty found Link; he and the other monkeys met up with her. He was named by Misty after his robotic counterpart. He also has the same voice as him whenever he communicates with others telepathically through Misty's telepathy. He was undoubtedly the most hotheaded primate in the group, however, unlike his counterpart from the show, he wasn't malevolent in any way but liked to pull pranks on the other monkeys.
Return of the Weirdmageon Cult[]
Mandarin is once again brought back from the dead and serves as the tertiary antagonist of Return of the Weirdmagegon Cult behind NOS-4A2, Toffee and Bill Cipher.
Chapter 1[]
Bill Cipher comes back from the dead albeit very weakned and he used his influence to recruit some disney villains into his service in the form of Ushari, Glomgold, The Reform Segant and even Lord Dominator and to bring back his 3 other disciples Mandarin, Toffee and Nos-4A2 which they are sucessful at. Some Introductions later, Bill and Toffee take action to resume their plot to bring Weirdmageon and whatever Toffee really wanted.
Bill CIpher, Mandarin and the rest of the group decide to set up base and recruit followers
Chapter 2[]
Mandarin returns with what he was after, with the help of Promethus which was Emma and Rikki two of Cleo's Friends and Toffee places both of them in a machine created again by Poopypants and Silco.
Chapter 3[]
The Sergant, Morag , Abra Kadabra and Mandarin having harvested a good deal of magic from The Boiling Isles with the latter presenting the mermaid magic and some scales of Cleo.
Morag, Abra Kadbara and Mandarin also help in putting the pressure on them and nearly capture the 4 of them until Lava Girl manages to stop them with a overpower of her powers which send the others and the magic that has been brought by the crew goes in flux and Sid doesn't get away and falls into a whirl pool caused by the magic. The three then decide to go back down a team mate with Shark Boy limping as Pinstripe did manage to get some shots on him through his tommy gun. .
Mandarin takes part in Toffee's plot and he assists Luv in killing off Filmore and uses an attack on Ford and Doc as a distraction so they have no chance at saving Jin or Qui Gon.
Chapter 4[]
Toffee meets his Disney Villains allies, NOS-4A2, Mandarin, Lord Dominator, Grime, Sahsa, Glomgold, Ushari and Chip Whistler and discusses the next step of his plot. He has found a lot of traces of unicorn hair around a set of space stations which is being used to restrain Bill's power and that he intends to remove it. Chip Whistler who also did his own research states that it may not be the only traces around the multiverse and that they might need to more scouting to do the job more effectively. Toffee however tells Chip he has a special ally on the job and NOS-4A2, Grime and Sasha sent her off for a while ago, as the latter two met her at the Boiing Isles. Glomgold and Lord Dominator have gotten the latter's spaceship intending to use it as a way to get there for the crew. Mandarin pushs Glomgold out of the way and decides to coplilot with Lord Dominator. Ushari who's been tracking the group states that Ford and the kids seem to be in the area and that this might present an opporunity. Toffee and NOS-4A2 agree with the former deciding to get direct against Team Free Will. Lord Dominator and Mandarin start up the ship but Morag wants to join Toffee and she wants to put a head on both Lincolin and Lydia thanks to being nearly killed by the latter. Chip refuses since she's not a Disney villain and she needs to keep an eye on the others, Morag states that she has and Pandora was stablized in part to Luv and that should be enough. Mandarin and Toffee believe a good approach to take Emma and Rikki with Morag and instead of going after Cleo go after Lydia instead as NOS-4A2 had the rest of the non Disney Villains on one of his own plans.
Mandarin handing a brand new personal sized spaceship fires projectiles at Cleo and Ronnie Anne and filies over the map and swoops up on them which initally works due to the tiredness of the two until Ronnie Anne decides to use her skate board to make tricks and jump on Mandarin while Cleo is just trying to dodge due to a lack of water on the moon to get his attention. This does work and Mandarin falls out of his ship and this is when Cleo grabs Mandarin threating to bash him in if he doesn't reveal how they knew of her home and got a hold of her friends and once again her eyes glow as she is ready to stangle the monkey and then just drops him and decides to leave with Ronnie Anne
Toffee calls for Mandarin and Nos-4A2 and tells them the success of the operation. Mandarin and NOS-4A2 both tell Toffee that they told the other disney villains about Toffee's plot and they are on board with Sasha and Grime being the only hold outs but NOS-4A2 is convinved that they'll see it their way. Toffee states as long as the other villains don't find out about this plan their scheme will go with minor interuptions and as long as Grodd, Promethus, Luv and Lalo are still useful he'll keep around and with Fern dead, that's one lesser pawn to deal with later. Toffee alsos announce that have acquired more unicorn hair which was used to conceal Bill Cipher that NOS-4A2 cut alongside one of Toffee's currently unknown allies.
Chapter 5[]
Toffee takes the message and it's from his ally Odalia Blight who Toffee and NOS-4A2 have aqquainted themselves with her. Odalia presents to the two all the unicorn hair she acquired herself to assist Toffee in his plans. She has also gotten some more techonology to use at their dipsoal in exchange for being let in on his real plan. Toffee admits that Odalia has seen through him and agrees to let her in on the real plan. Mandarin questions why she's part of the group, Toffee states that he needed someone with connections and magic and that Belos wasn't accepting his deal.
Toffee, NOS-4A2, Madnarin, Lord Dominator and Chip Whistler ask about the guy. N.Tropy introduces himself to Toffee with the intent to assist him in his plans, Toffee is suspcious and points what can he provide. N.Tropy has arrived from a time and has seen the future where he intends to prevent the defeat of the cult, Toffee is further suspicous of this knowledge due to how blatant N.Tropy is. Mandarin is dimssive as well as Morag who both say they don't need him as they have Proffessor Poopypants and Silco as Scientists. N.Tropy unimpressed asks if their scientists can do this, He straights out kills Slico and Poopypants pointing out that Toffee's scientists aren't up to par.
Mandarin ambushes Ford intending to bring his head to Bill Cipher as a trophy. Ford unimpressed with the threat points out that Bill would rather have him alive due to Ford being Bill's favorite play thing. Mandarin then points why hasn't he told the others about the riff that keeping Bill at bay or that his protege's lack of sleep which made her easy money for Bill. Ford says he will tell her when he is ready to and that if Bill touches a hair on her, Bill will have himself to answer to. Mandarin states that Bill won't yet and that NOS-4A2 will do just that, Ford fearful considering he was nearly killed by NOS-4A2 shoots Mandarin with his laser gun.
He tires again but Mandarin blocks it with his Sheild and he continues to attack with his organge gauntlets with a sword. Ford realziing that Mandarin is drawing from power gauntlets like Lydia but with the ability to emit energy power and sheild decides he needs to outlast it. Mandarin is relentless when trying to kill Ford and Ford takes every opening he can to hurt Mandarin. Mandarin as he fights takes shots at Ford for being foolish due to how old he and there isn't a way he can defeat him as he's a seasoned warrior and Ford is more of a phillospher much like Attuari who Toffee disposed of. Ford then asks will would one do this as he knocks off one of Mandarin's power gauntlets uses it to slice off Mandarin's arm wielding his other glove with his shield.
Mandarin reels back and is ready to attack Ford for it even more furiously when Toffee steps out of a portal and grabs the monkey telling him it would be most unwise to do so.
Chapter 6[]
Back at Bill Cipher's castle, Toffee and Bill Cipher are holding their meeting with NOS-4A2, Mandrain, Sasha, Glomgold and Chip Whistler about their next ploy. Toffee mentioned he did some real damage to Newtopia weakening King Andrias's forces, but know that Marcy and co have made an alignace with Team Free Will now they must play more undercovers. Bill Cipher extends to that The disney villains must keep their agenda away from the other non disney villains as they must not know that Bill and Toffee are going to dispose of the non Disney allies they have as Toffee wants a group full of Disney Villains to conquer the multiverse. Mandarin offers to do the job himself with his arm grown back, Toffee disagrees and states that they must get the most of out of the non Disney Villains before dipsoing of them and before he becomes the King of Disney.
NOS-4A2 informs Toffee he will make sure the plan stays on track and considering his track record this will work. Toffee recongizes NOS-4A2's track record and asks him to spy on Team Free Will and report back to him when he finds them. NOS-4A2 agrees and asks Mandarin and Sasha to come along. Sasha and Mandarin both follow NOS-4A2 and the trio set off. NOS-4A2 is observing all the Team Free Will members through his moncole and he instructs Mandarin and Sasha to their missions. Mandarin will attack them indirectly to cause a reaction and Sasha to basically blend with the public as he contacts Toffee about the location he found. Mandarin made an attack on Lydia, Ford, Anne and Luz indirectly but this is foiled by Ronnie Anne, Lincoln, Cricket and Amanda and Mandarin watching from the side annoyed by his 1st failure sets up another one.
Mandarin decides to use his lobster claw to basically tear Kim into the water intending to kill her. Lincoln does notice something is pulling her under and throws a piece of wood at him, distracting him and loosing his grip where Kim falls in the water, though Lincoln manages to save her from drowning and brings her to the shore.
Mandarin and Sasha are both spying on the situation and Mandarin is satisifed that everyone is around not suspecting a thing. Sasha does admit Ford is aware of Bill's appearance so that point is wrong. Mandarin tells Sasha that Bill has to taunt Ford per their history and that he has an opporunity to go after Lincoln due to his date.
Sasha points out if Mandarin will attack Lincoln, make sure no one else knows. Reminding him of the don't bring attention play which Mandarin states that Sasha is too soft and that he'll do what he pleases. Sasha says at least she has a life and as she slips fondly on a drink while holding seafood in another hand for her and Grime to feast on.
Mandarin recognizes Anne, Luz and Cricket and decides to use his lobster claw to attack them and Anne fights him with Luz and Cricket helping as they steak out for NOS-4A2. Anne, Luz and Cricket are busy fighting with Mandarin who sees Sasha who is sipping on a tropical drink. Mandarin asks Sasha for help, and Sasha refuses only agreeing if Mandarin says please, Mandarin refuses to degrade himself like that and Sasha says it's the only way for her to help him. Mandarin swallows his pride and says please and Sasha finishes her drink and Luz decides to challenge her asking has Sasha improved from last time and Sasha asks the same thing. Luz and Sasha clash and face off with each other while Anne and Cricket continue holding off Mandarin. Anne manages to defeat Mandarin with Cricket and is further hindered by Ford and Eda who Mandarin stopping from snapping.
Chapter 7[]
Sid and King overhear something and it's a bit of a loud talk between Toffee, Mandarin, Don Karnage and Grime about damaging Karnage's ship on the way over to Mako Island. Sid overhears that Toffee commented that he was just folowing what NOS-4A2 told him and realizes Toffee had his eye on them through the vampire, Toffee states that his friend N0S-4A2 won't have his damaged teeth fixed for nil. Grime asks Toffee what's the play, and Toffee explains that he must silence someone who knows too much and someone who can provide a problem. Mandarin is eager to already go for the kill and Don Karnage tells him to keep his eagnerss in control and wait for Toffee to make his decision. Mandarin moans and Toffee waves his hand at the monkey and tells Grime and Don Karnage to assembe the crew and after this he will have fish soup or something sea foodish and that he must see who is next to dipose in regards to the Disney plan.
Toffee sees over the disney villains as they are requiring sources for him. Glomgold is acquiring wealth, N0S-4A2, Don Karnage and Lord Dominator are acquiring ships and star cruisers for enforcement and police states, Sasha and Grime are basically doing their task more subtly and Odalia Blight with Derek have been capturing Danville residents and making pistachio copies. Bill Cipher and Toffee are both in Gravity Falls as Bill decides that the weirdness must be brought to the surface and that he is going to make it happen. Toffee asks where Bill will do this, Bill states that he can go after Ford and his crew, Those disney kids and the nerds at the mansion.
Toffee asks about Mandarin's task since they didn't give him a task like the other disney villains. Bill Cipher states he has something special for Mandarin and that he has him working with Morag. Toffee asks about Morag and how they will dipose of her, Bill states eventually she is still more useful to them as an ally than being dispoable
Mandarin and Morag are the ones instigating this and they seem like their plan is working in that they're trying to trauamize the children. Morag states that N-Tropy certainly had the right approach with this plan. Mandarin decides to up the horror with the medallon Shadow Blot stole for them to into their worst fears, Morag takes the medallon out and puts it on maximum overdrive. He reveals himself to Lydia and takes sadistic delight in trying to hunt and kill her.
Mandarin grabs her with his claw and hands her to the Ford halluncation and Lincoln saves her by heabutting the monkey. Morag tells Mandarin to use the amulet again and he refuses that it's personal now. The magnets, Ford halluncation and the humanoid gang on the two and he finds himself defeated.
Mandarin and Morag both arrive back and state that they almost had the kids scared to death but they overcame it. N-Tropy snarks that it was a perfect idea for Mandarin to reveal himself with the medallon and that doomed him. Mandarin is ready to attack N-Tropy over this as his plan was perfect, N-Tropy mocks Mandarin further that it was perfect to have the kids overcome it which wouldn't have had happened any further, All he had to do was use the fear. N-Tropy pratically giftwrapped them and Mandarin screwed up, Morag agrees with N-Tropy despite helping Mandarin as she didn't give herself away
Chapter 8[]
Mandarin decides to go after Marcy Wu as opposed to the team as he feels she has conncections with someone who is hindering the operations of the villains and feels he needs to scout the info for Toffee. He is told to bring Sasha and Grime with him and he reculantly agrees
Mandarn, Grime and Sasha go to another place in the merge of Earth and Mewni and see Marcy with Slade's Army as they are gathering resources for something and the three of them keep following them and the areas they're going to do. Mandarin reports that to Toffee and NOS-4A2 that Marcy Wu is working with Slade's army and he states that Marcy is trying to find resources for something
Toffee tells Mandarin that Odalia told him about Bender, Slade and Anti Cosmo being on his case and as she and her husband encountered them. Mandarin is annoyed but not suprised about this as Bender, Anti Cosmo and Slade shouldn't have been involved. Sasha and Grime recongize Bender and Anti Cosmo as they were present during their attack on Brighton
Mandarin and Bill are both unamused with the two not telling them about this though Toffee gives them a pass on this. Mandarin then ponders that Bender, Slade, and Anti Cosmo are working with Marcy Wu and King Andiras which N0S-4A2 thinks.
Toffee and N0S-4A2 agree on this and N0S-4A2 sends Mandarin after the rift as he sees Sid Chang going after it. Mandarin agrees to this
Mandarin finds, chases and nearly kills Sid who found the interdemsional rift as she tries to protect it from the crazy monkey. He is foiled by Cleopatra who arrived to save Sid as she still cares about the Chang Girl.
Chapter 9[]
Toffee assigns Mandarin to Newtopia with the intent to distract Marcy Wu, Bender, Luan and Slade's ensemble as well as help Sasha and Grime to conqer Newtopia and kill King Andiras
The savage monkey does his job and runs into Wile E Coyote, Captain Hero and Jessie Wells and engages with them and gets some hits while mocking Wile E for not being exactly being a fighter like Hero and Wells. Mandarin of course underestimates Wile E as while Hero and Jesse Wells are fightening and beating up Mandarin. Wile E was spring a trap on Madnarin and Slade, ANti Cosmo and Harrison show up and basically just kill him.
Triumpant, Hero takes Mandarin's corpse and mocks Toffee for losing a trusted solider.
