Magnus proved to be a tough and dangerous magic-wielding opponent to Team Disney Angel and the Imperium. Luckily, Leman Russ was able to bring him to his senses. Late, he assisted in the battle against the Necrons.

After all the fighting, Magnus was curious about the memory crystals and said he would like to do some research on them. So he travelled with the Angels for a time.
