Magnus (マグナ Maguna, "Magna") is a minor character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Shown to be one of the most powerful of all humans, he is a seasoned warrior who has weathered many battles.
While he remains unaffiliated, he serves as a temporary ally to Pit in Chapters 2 and 18.
He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore in the English version of Uprising, and Patrick Seitz in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U.
The P Team Storyline[]
Magnus had been contacted on the phone by Kaim Argonar to ask if he is interested to be hired to work on his side, assuring him he'll be greatly awarded for his deeds, if he stays with him to do this important task to save the Multi-Universe from evil. Having carefully thought this out, Magnus tells his partner Dark Lord Gaol to watch over the place as he embarks himself on a journey, craving the adventure to prevent evil from forever tainting the other worlds and get paid from it. Upon his arrival to the Odyssey Elite base, Kaim Argonar gave Magnus the rank of Third in Command for his determination in saving his friend Gaol from the darkness and making the decisions to hold off enemy forces and rescuing innocent lives from being hurt in the crossfire. Precisly that reason is what makes Kaim like in him, a selfless mercenary willing to put aside his cash in objective in order to help others is that sort of attitude that makes a fine commander.
