Lysandre is a character appears in X and Y and was the leader of Team Flare. He is also the descendant of the AZ's younger brother and an old friend of Professor Sycamore who studied under him just like the player character. And just like the player character he studied Mega evolution and can harness it with his Mega Gyarados.

Lysandre is back from the dead by the Galactic Empire. He made an agreement with Darth Vader. He will be prepared to kill Alain, the one who betrayed him.

Chapter 8: Earth X's Last Stand[]
Lysandre and Team Flare joined Dark Arrow to enforce their rule and he has his grunts enforce their policies and plans to be spared from Dark Arrow. Crossing paths with the heroes he manages to keep a strong upper hand on them. thanks to mega evolution and intimidation. Lysandre eventually uses his super machine to try to kill Slade, Bender, Anti Cosmo, Marcy, Harry, Dakota, Cavendish, Mark, Eve and Thawne. However they manage to rig it eventually to have him buried instead.
