Ly is a magical fairy who was from the same world as Rayman.
Rayman 2[]
The game started out with Ly pleading to Rayman to save their world from the robot pirates that have invaded it. Even though he had been captured by the pirates, she believed that he is the only hope for their world and had faith that he will save it.
After Rayman broke out of his prison, he made it his first objective to find Ly. When he eventually found her in the Fairy Glade, she was already being imprisoned inside a force field, forcing Rayman to break her out of it. After she was freed, she bestowed on to Rayman some powers. She then told him about Polokus, the creator of their world, and that if he were to awaken him by finding 4 Masks and bringing them to him, he will be able to utilize his full powers to decimate the pirates.
Ultimate Story[]
Ly places a lot of very vital roles throughout The Ultimate Story. She is one of a handful of characters who made her debut in the very beginning. She may look young, but she has had lived for many eons. She was the one who created the Power Crystal that Ribbon, from Ripple Star, currently possesed; with that, it was able to detect the 10 missing Pokemon Stones she wanted to attain, as she hurriedly hid 9 away in some Pokemon, but wasn't sure where. Also, there were some mystic items she wanted to retrieve, like Misty's backpack, as well as the human host housing Aqualina's essence, as her Gold Lum revealed it.
Eons back, she met and fell in love with a shaman named Nikko, howerver, he was corrupted by the very Darkness that he had been studying and became the Shaman Emperor. He attempted to destroy many, various worlds, forcing her to lock away the man that she loved within the Shadow Realm and most of her own strength.
Many years later, the Shaman Emperor broke out of the Shadow Realm, thanks to the efforts of the Shadow Queen and her Descendents of Darkness. Ly acted fast and attempted to push back the Darkness. At first, she was losing her grip, but Tikal stepped in and convinced the Teenzie guardians to enfuse all of the surviving dimensions into one. From this, she was able to push the Shaman Emperor back into the Shadow Realm. She then created some magical items known as Lock Crystals to keep the Shadow Realm closed permanently. However, she used up so much of her own magical energy that she no longer fights evil head on and she meditates a lot, even when she was attacked and greatly weakened by Razorbeard. Since then, she has recruited heroes behind the scenes in order to achieve the Ultimate Destiny, such as training Lisa to become a fairy, finding Misty, testing their powers and abilities, as well as finding new recruits.
