Lunala (Japanese: ルナアーラ Lunala) is a dual-type Psychic/Ghost Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. Said to live in another world, this Pokémon devours light, drawing the moonless dark veil of night over the brightness of day.
It evolves from Cosmoem when leveled up in Pokémon Moon starting at level 53. It is one of Cosmog's final forms, the other being Solgaleo.
Lunala takes a special form called the Full Moon phase when it uses Moongeist Beam.
Along with Solgaleo, it was initially revealed in May 2016, but officially revealed on June 2, 2016.
Lunala is said to be a female evolution of Cosmog. When its third eye activates, away it flies to another world.
