Lúcio is a supporting hero in Overwatch. His specialty involves audio-based attacks and support such as utilizing as Sonic Amplifier as a form of attack as well as playing songs that can heal his allies as well as boost his own speed. He is a musician by trade, a famous DJ who wants to use music to inspire social change and bring everyone together. He has shown to be a positive influence to many people that have listened to his music. That positive influence has also been been spread among those that he works with as he tends to inspire spirit and positive attitudes amongst everyone. He also used to have been a hockey player, a sport that he enjoyed playing when he was younger. He also finds time to play football with children of his home country of Brazil. His Sonic Amplifier was invented by his dad, who was an expert in such ingenuity and uses it to help out his people.
Among those who are confirmed to be fans of his music are D.Va, Mei, Sigma, Orisa as well as her creator, Efi and a few of her relatives. Some, however, don't take much delight in it such as Widowmaker.
He is shown to have a deep disdain towards Vishkar Corporation, a company that Symmetra works for, with which Symmetra is barely an exception towards his resentment, although he doesn't exactly hate her. Lucio helped to chase out Vishkar with the use of his father's sonic technology. It was also revealed that his father worked for Vishkar and believed in their visions of the future. Regardless, Lucio seemed to have looked up to and respected his father, having still used his sonic technology as a sort of momento of him.
