Lucas Kellan' is a major protagonist in LOTM: Sword of Kings and one of the major members of The Rogues, serving as one of the main characters in LOTM: Sword of Kings - Saga AA as well as the main protagonist in LOTM: Sword of Kings Special: Tales of a Lost Hero - Part 1 & Part 2.

Maria Arzonia

Maria sharing her own thoughts to Lucas.

Although her interaction with Lucas was rather moderate comparing to those between the Arzonia Family members, Maria and Lucas are shown to be in a good term of working partnership.

Upon her meeting with the Rogues in the Morte Base, Maria had become new friends with Lucas after helping him, Katarina and Tomas to get out of a horde of zombies (by burning the zombies down) and attacking Akrak Couteau. Notably, amongst those who had confronted Akrak in her final stand, Maria and Lucas both had the most serious and wrathful reaction to Akrak's cruel and heartless actions, even though they never met each other before the battle.

It was also noteworthy that after attacking the Morte, Maria tried to kill Akrak very eagarly for what the latter had done at first, but she decided to let Lucas to finish the job after discovering the grudge between them. At first, Maria was apalled by how Lucas would do to use extreme violence on killing enemies, just like how she felt with Katarina and Tomas, because of her traumatized experience to see people brutally killed in front of her, but she eventually came by and agreed with the method only upon heartless monsters in human skin, like Akrak.

During their moderate intearction, Maria often talked with Lucas precariously whilst there were others around, in order to avoid any possible ire of jealousy from either Matt or, most likely, Isis Maxwell, unless their talks need to be classified and private for necessity means. Maria could sense feelings between Isis and Lucas and had been a matchmaker between the two, just like how she served as one to Katarina and Rentaro. At sometimes, they both shared their view on certain themes family and love, as well as exchanging their dreadful past together.

Moreover, Maria disocvered that Lucas shared some commons to her past, but she considered Lucas to be lucky, since at least he still had happy memories with his parents, whom he could always remembered as kind and responsible people.

In deep down, Maria also shared her sympathy towards the death of Lucas' father. She believed that Lucas still had a loving and kind father he could be proud of, whilst the father of Maria herself was an uncaring scum who slept with other women and did nothing for Felicia Arzonia other than conceving his daughter without even knowing his child's existence. For once, Maria praised Lucas' efforts in battle and said that his parents would be proud of him. In Maria's mind, Lucas was always a worthy warrior and brave soldier.

In turn, Lucas was also grateful to Maria's efforts. He was also very surprised that she would call him a friend of hers even before he was about to introduce himself. Like Katarina, Lucas also had something to fear from Maria, which was her psychological impact sent upon enemies through death glare and fierce attack, as well as the heat built up by her emotions. However, that didn't make them isolated from each other.

After learning Maria's past and her wish to atone her sins by her own hands, Lucas respected Maria's decision to save people to mend the damage caused by her past actions. However, he adviced her to try making some harsh decisions and use more violent methods, only if and when it was necessary. Maria promised that she won't let Lucas down, for she had saw how fiendish a human can truly be from the actions of Akrak. As such, Maria would not give any mercy on anyone who dared to commit horrendeous crimes on her family, the humanity and the planet she belonged.

Despite their close bonds, Maria and Lucas' relationship remained platonic, and Maria often served as a latent matchmaker to Lucas and Isis.

Selina Strawberry

"Lucas Kellan... You're a Tin Soldier who had been successful in finding his Heart of Gold, through a long path of thorns. I know who you are... and I know what you've been pulled through. I know something else... You may've been intimidated at first, but in the end, YOU'RE NOT AFRAID OF ME. Lucas and Selina are the two tallest members of the Rogues, although Selina was the only one in the party who was taller than Lucas, way taller. Like everyone else, Lucas was, at first, some sort of intimidated by Selina's presence, due to her sheer size and powerful abilities. Still, he didn't cower himself in front of her and accepted her challenge, whilst trying to declare and prove that the Rogues arrived in her turf without any malicious intention.

As a result, Selina and Lucas had a calm but mutually welcoming relationship. Since Lucas didn't even flinch during her test, Selina was deeply impressed by Lucas (amongst others) and admired him for his own will power and courage. Later, whilst becoming closer to the Rogues members, Selina had found deeper in Lucas' origin story and his experiences before during the war.

Since he was of human origin and was born on Earth, as well as his resolution to face his past, Lucas was one of the people in the Rogues whom Selina could read through their past, simply with her magical eye. It was unlike the circumstances of Katarina and Tomas, whose past and memory was so mysterious and deep, even Selina couldn't be read their past at all.

After they got closer, Selina revealed that she knew who Lucas Kellan was, and knew who and what had pulled him through his dreadful ordeals. She said she had found empathy in him, since she knew both of them were "monsters" that still kept a heart of humans, and was relieved that he could overcome his tragic past and dethrone his sworn enemy. Selina also revealed that she had found similarities in their past and/or personality between him, her and (somehow) Katarina, to which it surprised her (Selina).

Although agreeing with her opinion and acknowledging her skills and seriousness, Lucas will, at times, calmly criticized Selina about the latter when she doted Katarina, saying she was treating Katarina "like a premature baby who still need to be breastfed", especially when Selina kept feeding Katrina with the fruit in her personal orchard. Selina only responded she only treated Katarina as a friend in need and knew when to make Katarina make her own decision.

Lucas saw through Selina's inner nature before meeting the Rogues - desperate, somber and unsmiling.

Still, Helene will explain to Lucas and Isis that Selina was always acting like a mother to her teammates, and doing so meant one thing: Selina's happiness was coming back to her, which led Lucas to discover Selina's past as a survivor of Sleepy Hollow's tragedy and La Gloton's conspiracy. Lucas and Selina would later join several discussion during making strategies, where both of them being good listener to each other's opinion, despite holding each other's differences on opinions.

On Lucas' side, he was deep down impressed by Selina's will to reclaim what she had lost. Lucas knew Selina was deeply hurt and angry that Vira Hermes and Ara Astaroth had took away everyone and everything she had stood for, but he was surprised and impressed that Selina was a gentle giant at her core, still being able to hold a certain degree of gentleness and respect towards her friends, despite less frequently to laugh. When Albert mentioned that Selina had never laughed so happily like that until she reunited with Helene and met everyone from the Rogues, especially Katarina, Lucas felt relieved as well and was happy that Selina and the Rogues met each other.

Trivia

• The mutual denial of relationship between Lucas and Isis had become one of the most memorable and the funniest love denial scenes in CIS Productions storylines ever.
• Lucas Kellan is the tallest official member of the Rogues. However, if the Rogues' allies are also count as members, he will be the second tallest member (and still the tallest male member), losing only to Selina Strawberry.
• Lucas' original name was supposed to Luka after the release of LOTM: Sword of Kings AA Final - Eckidina Arc: Angel Sub-Arc but it was decided the original name would be kept once the authors confirmed Lucas' name to be a Brazilian character. In Brazil, Lucas is among the most popular male names to name babies.
• Lucas Kellan was actually a Killzone character, to be more precise, the protagonist of Killzone: Shadow Fall and was one of the many used non-original characters from CIS to appear in LOTM: Sword of Kings. However, over time the character gained independent storyline, design and personality. However, the name "Lucas Kellan" was kept but as a "nickname" (also military identity) while Lucas gained a complete original name that is rarely used.
• Despite being one of the most handsome male characters, he lacks the outgoing personality of a ladies' man that Tomas Sev, Kyouhei Kannazuki and other young male characters possess. Instead, it's said that women are the ones who chase after him; with Chinatsu Tathagata, the cruel and sadistic princess of Godom Empire, falling for him and even the hardworking and cold-hearted Isis Maxwell suffering the same fate.
• In Tomas' words, Lucas had already slept with many women but never engaged in a romantic relationship which resulted in him being considered a man whose is an expert in breaking women's hearts without even trying.
• Lucas' original concept was to be a normal human soldier of VSA but the character was scrapped entirely to receive him as a newcomer Magician. Actually, the authors brought many excuses to explain why he never used his powers in LOTM: Sword of Kings AA - Raizen School Arc like pointing out a moment in his life where his Magi-Tech caused a serious trauma and PTSD that would stop him from using magic any further.
• Tomas has arm-wrestled Lucas 720 times which resulted in one of them getting 361 wins. Both of them argue as to who it is that has won the greater number of times.
• Lucas has a problem to remember other people's names, something that the character's creator (Sirin of the Void) suffer from the same problem.
