Samuel "Locus" Ortez is a character from the web series Red vs Blue.
He is voiced by Gray G. Haddock.
Locus is a mercenary and soldier for the Federal Army of Chorus, who was formerly a soldier for the UNSC.
In the Season 12 episode, Cloak and Dager, it's revealed that Locus is working alongside his rival, Felix, in order to eraticate Chorus' population.
At the end of Season 13, Locus betrays Felix and Charon Industries after seeing what he has become, and assisted the Reds and Blues in exposing the Chairman's crimes to the galaxy. Although the Reds and Blues refuse to forgive him, Locus does express his understanding and states that he plans to make things right.
It's later revealed that Locus is bilingual, being able to understand what Lopez is saying.

Locus will return, despite being killed in Street Speedsters. He returns by methods used by the Old Clock Shop Man. Instead of being a villain, Locus will be returning as a neutral.
