Dr. Liara T'Soni is an asari researcher who has spent the past fifty years of her life studying Prothean technology and culture, specializing in the Prothean extinction. She was born on Thessia in 2077, making her "only" 106—barely an adult in asari terms. She already has a great deal of insight into the Protheans and is a highly trained user of biotics.
The Fayelons Story[]
Liara was on the Citadel when the Fayelons first arrived. She was there to witness their powers and transformation. Much time after the fight, she revealed to her friends that she has seen some of the magical girl shows as a means of researching Earth fantasy. She eventually took a personal interest in the magical girl shows.
Liara was willing to lend a hand to the girls with the use of her resources as the new shadow broker. Using her near endless source of information and a lot of her private databases for storing away data regarding the girls' realm, she had been plenty helpful to the girls.
Liara was chosen by Splash to hide away her piece of the key to a mysterious magical door. After she and the others who were picked to hide away each key piece completed the task, she had each of them hand over the locations of each hiding spot into her personal databases without looking at the data.
Liara has been a mother figure to the girls, looking after them whenever they need her and such.
When Jewel first presented the crew with a jewelry box containing Intel Crystals, Liara took the box into her office to process all of the intel within them. From them, she was able to find a significant amount of information regarding the Fayelons and their realm. However, she along with the entire crew were suspicious as to why the girls had so much information in their possession. This, along with many other things that they've heard about supported the suspicion that there is something corrupt going on regarding their race.
