Kuvira is a villian and false heroine from The Legend of Korra.
Kuvira was a guard captain in Zaofu, a city founded by Suyin Beifong, as well as a dancer there. She was known for calming the anarchy in Ba Sing Se launched by the Red Lotus, receiving the title "Great Uniter".
However, she then transformed the Earth Kingdom into the ruthless Earth Empire after refusing to allow Prince Wu into the throne, aiming to eliminate those standing in her way.

Kuvira will first appear in Book One at the same time Locus appears.
She later returns as one of the main villains in Book 4.
