Kristoph Gavin

Kristoph Gavin (Japanese: Kirihito Garyu), is the main antagonist in the Apollo Justice Trilogy of the Ace Attorney franchise.

He is the main antagonist of the 2007 visual novel Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and the overarching antagonist of its 2013 sequel Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

He is a famous defense attorney who served as a mentor of Apollo Justice, and is the brother of Klavier Gavin. However underneath his friendly and charming demeanor, he is a corrupt official who hates Phoenix Wright due to a petty reason, and is willing to ruin his, as well as Apollo's and many others' lives just to get his revenge by any means necessary.

Episode 11

Arnold Flass and Warden Norton arrive with a new attorney who is more willing to bend rules and this is what Midas would like in Gavin. Midas has Gavin sign off on his plots to auction off water and start the bidding. As he needs it sanctioned with a truly amoral lawyer and that Midas will sell the water for high prices and could also use this for protection purposes for this as well.  

He presents the legal biding contact to do just that to Midas so they can sign it and process with the plan.

Episode 12

Pablo, Gavin and Tenpenny arrive and place the rats in cages as Midas says it's time for a new leader and he sanctioned it off with Gavin and Tenpenny. Milton reveals he tried it before with a rot that turns people into pigs in the water supply and that he watched 4 adults turn into pigs. He tells Pablo and Professor Chang to follow him to to do this and Tenpenny to chase down the heroes on his orders so he can bring them down and kill Tom Hagen. He needs a message he needs to send to Frank Underwood.

Act 3

Episode 13

Gavin sanctions off the crimes Midas needs done and helps acquire the businesses for him so Midas can use it for his own evil plots.

Midas, Gavin, Norton and Hadley all decide to get a possible operation up to work in case the heroes try to do anything against him and Gavin with Norton manages to get a hold of sea operatives to do that. Rocky, Mugsy and Riff Raff return with the money that peddled into the drug operations that Midas had put into effect which Gavin will legalize off and use to hide their top operations.

He also discovers that Bender and his friends killed Little Nina, Aware that they are now self aware of Midas's double crossing and must take direct action. He helps advertise the rest of Midas's work for payback against Bender's group and Slade's Empire for daring to try to think they can outwit Milton Midas and him.

Episode 14

Midas, Gavin, Flass and Anton monitor the situation they are in and he still has the pigs which he intends to save for his own use, as Gavin is helping establish Midas's conession stand and insuring the ability for Midas to patent and sell his surpises at his new gig.

Episode 15

Milton Midas with help from John Rogerduck, Jeeves and Gavin set up his fast food project and set up conecssion stands for people to try as he has his goons  set up more places. He cooked an corrupt but ultimately air tight agreement.

Midas and Gavin come to realize Mike, Stan and Wendy were buying from them and are likely going to try and expose what he is up to, after they manage to purchase some more food from him.

Episode 16

Gavin helps John Rogerduck and Midas advertise locally with their business to continue Midas's agenda of doing what Eladio wanted but better. Later Gavin sanctions off the cops to kill Tom Hagen and decides to make it look like an act of self defense.

He is also able to assist Midas in sanctioning the use of Egg Sandwiches with sauce to make Chickadatyls out of their customers while assisting Captain Putty in his own operations with the attempt to arrest Bender to insure he doesn't reveal the truth of their operation though this goes south.

Episode 20

Gavin is captured by Bender, Luan, Slade, Anti Cosmo, Bean and Captain Hero who bring him to Saul Goodman and they are able to force Gavin to admit to everything he has done under Midas's orders and his own unethical use of the law. As a result he gets disbarred and is arrested by the Streaming Resistance to rot in jail.
