Komodos

The Komodos are group of massive Komodo Dragons that lived on Goji Island off the coast of Florida, originally they were going to be sold on the black market of exotic pets but the eggs were thrown out and hatched. The Komodos were seen to be villains although they were only attacking humans because their normal island prey was gone due to a oil company, meaning that like all animals the Komodos aren't evil but act on instinct and behavior. The Komodos were also sustainable and worked in the island ecosystem as a apex predator, but due to the lack of any competition and better heat and water conditions to Komodos to become bigger than they should be. The Komodos were also mildly intelligent, as they could be seen planning traps or attacks. The Komodo's aggression and danger makes them feared, and thus the island is protected by the Komodos as if their guardians of it. The Komodos are also a endangered species, and thus they legally protected and are thus illegal to kill or hunt them. The Komodos have all the natural abilities of Komodo Dragons, but due to their giant size and bulk for their species they are far more durable and stronger. The Komodos were seen to survive getting lit on fire, stabbed in the eye or body, and even most direct shots to the head. The Komodos were also extremely fast for their size, being able to catch up to people and even some cars. The Komodos have whipping tails, but they mainly use their tails for nothing and only attack with them if their foe is behind them. The Komodos also have venom, after biting a foe or prey item they'll follow it slowly until it weaken by the venom before tearing it apart. The Komodos soon killed and attacked a family after 17 years of their life only sparing the son after their hunger was over, leaving the kid scaring him. The kid along with a therapist returned to the island and got attacked they joined a small group of soldiers, after a bit the Oil company was killed by the Komodos and the Kid and group escaped. While some of the Komodos were killed, the population was barely dented and the Komodos survived. After the oil company was destroyed the island's life bloomed and the Komodo's never preyed on humans, unless they are threatened. After the Komodos existence was noted the Island became a preserve, and they are living free and safe along with people in the area.
