I'm the girl who is lost in space, the girl who is disappearing always, forever fading away and receding farther and farther into the background. Just like the Cheshire cat, someday I will suddenly leave, but the artificial warmth of my smile, that phony, clownish curve, the kind you see on miserably sad people and villains in movies, will remain behind as an ironic remnant. I am the girl you see in the photograph from some party someplace or some picnic in the park, the one who is in fact soon to be gone. When you look at the picture again, I want to assure you, I will no longer be there. I will be erased from history, like a traitor in the Soviet Union, like a small ant you will just pass by and not even notice. Because with every day that goes by, I feel myself becoming more and more invisible...

Katarina "Kiana" Kronii
HXjfcujiot

Kiana Kronii Rhe'Kai, born as Kiana Du Tirial Westcott and later renamed as Katarina Couteau but mostly known as Red Haired Demon, Red Bloody Tyrant, Scarlet Wolf, Scarlet Demon, Red Wolf Demon, or Katarina Du Tirial and anciently known as Berith is the overall main protagonist and at the same time the overall main antagonist of the 2021 Fandom web-story LOTM: Sword of Gods, the official reboot of the 2015-2020LOTM: Sword of Kings, one of the main protagonists of LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow & Sword of Kings Crossover - The Corbin Files and the main protagonist of the sequel LOTM: A Draw of Kings. She also served as a supporting character in the now-abandoned LOTM: Sword of Kings Spin-Off - Rise of the Blue Haired Heroine but will serve as the same in the its future 2022-2023 reboot, a posthumous character in LOTM: Los Reina de Corazónes, a recurring character in the upcoming LOTM: Destiny and a secondary protagonist in LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow - Anti-Christ Saga. She is also mentioned and appears in some quick flashbacks in LOTM: The Phoenix on the Sword as well. Due to her being the first OC of the related universe and her importance to the overall setting, she is the most recurring and important character of the CIS Productions as a whole and could be considered to be the de-facto leading main character of the web-series' universe. Kiana Kronii, previous known as Katarina Tirial Couteau in the 2016-2020 story of LOTM: Sword of Kings, is a 2021-period reworked character of the original Katarina Couteau who suffered radical changes in her character's background, design, personality, status and involvement in the storyline as a whole.

Katarina is young half-Taken and half-alien ExKrieg whom has ties with Germanic blood and nationality back in the respective of origin of her father, making her a German half-alien in terms of birth. She is the first and only daughter of the malevolent Ike Ray Peram Westcott, the founder of the inter-galactic fascist empire Deus.Ex.Machina Empire and her amazon warrior mother Mikaela Du Tirial, a humanoid alien descendant of the legendary ExKrieg whom was said to have defeated Ragnarok Devils, Lucifer and The Fallen I countless eons ago. After a period of paranoid and hostile relationships between the DEM Empire and ExKriegs, the race of the newborn Katarina was eventually exterminated during the ExKrieg Genocide that put an end to the mother of her mother by the hands of Ike Westcott who had intentions of wiping out all descedants of ExKrieg, including his daughter. However, thanks to the efforts of her mother, Katarina was saved from death in the last second and sacrificed herself to save the toddler Katarina. Eventually, Katarina was adopted by the evil goddess of the Taken (the same race of her father's) Lapis Rhe'Kai and saved her from certain death of starvation and rose her as her first daughter to pay for the price of her foolish father who was also her apprentice. As her daughter, Lapis trained Kiana to replace the Fallen I as his true successor as she considered Ike Westcott to be too selfish to serve her purposes but despite her agenda the two grew a warming relationship of a mother and daughter to the point Lapis gave up on weaponizing her and made her true daughter when she reached her adolescence and in fear of seeing her dying due to her human lifespan, she awakened the powers of her Taken abilities inside of her, transforming her in the same kind of her father's and achieving immortality as well as eternal youth, thus giving her the name of Kiana Kronii Rhe'Kai and taught her to be a Taken through deity teaching and methods.

Eventually, Kiana embraced her mission of becoming the next Fallen I and waged the Third Multi-Universal War against Paradise and Spectra to avenge her mother's oppression, breaking nearly a quintillion years of peace between the mortal and divine realm. Due to her having the support of Lapis, an Omniversal Supreme Deity, they successfuly won the war partially by breaking 1/3 of Paradise's original size and creating an illegal and illegitimate Multi-Universe called "0th Multi-Universe" aka "Prime Multi-Universe", where the Prime Earth would later exist under its infinite cosmos alongside countless of other worlds and universes. Despite their efforts, Lapis was sealed much like Ragnarok Iblis was but Kiana managed to escape and go into hiding inside of the 0th Multi-Universe where she vowed revenge and built the illegitimate 0th Multi-Universe to be her own kingdom, her own empire by creating universes via-Big Bangs and planting seeds of life like introducing atoms and particles of black matter from other Multi-Universes and thus waited billion years to her universes to create life until she could finally rise her own worlds to be her loyal empires to serve her and finally assimilate all life forms to herself to once again battle against the Gods. She had a brief support of Leohart the Prince of Hell but the two broke apart as soon as possible when Leohart learned her connection with the rival Goddess Lapis who is a sister of his Omniversal Goddess Ragnarok and was afraid of her hidden ExKrieg lineage that could put an end to his kind. Around 450 billion years later, Kiana formed the first successful Multi-Universal Dark Empire called "Be'eux-tors", and waged wars against other Multi-Universes, including the Dark Empire of her father, the DEM Empire, Triggers Hell and Zoyineian-Sith Empire. The Be'eux-Tors was the first and only Dark Empire to have almost defeated the entire Balam Alliance and Reality Council and the only one to have a full control over an entire Multi-Universe since its very base was made to serve its foundation. In the 0th Multi-Universe, Kiana controlled most of its life with iron fist and ruled supreme as the supreme deity and most worshiped entity of all civilizations in all galaxies and universes until Ara Astaroth from Revelation of Qliphoth infiltrated her universe like a parasite and kept corrupting her "provinces" with her own knowledge and wisdom, thus converting newborn civilizations to serve her. This led to Kiana start crackdowns in her own worlds while the Balam Alliance, the Reality Council and even Paradise formed an alliance with the purpose of defeating Kiana and push her forces back to her worlds to defeat her once and for all.

Thanks to Ara's interference and the alliance of all known forces inside of the Lynenta Omniverse, Kiana had to fight all her enemies by herself and was defeated after a legendary battle that could have been seen by every world of her Multi-Universe, despite this she wasn't defeated but only had her soul sent to the Void between Multi-Universes where she waited to be born again until all her enemies were out of the 0th Multi-Universe, once they were out and life continued to exist without her, Kiana tried to revive herself in the Prime Earth by resetting her own human lifespan but her lack of control in rebirth magic accidentally erased all her past memories as she was sent to Prime Earth nearly two billion years after she was defeated. As her existence was slowly eradicated and nothing more than walls and ancient artifacts and paintings of her were left behind to tell history, the ancestors of the Divinos forgot her existence and swore loyalty to Ara Astaroth whom become the new de-facto ruler of the Prime Multi-Universe. Now in Prime Earth, during the 2010s events of human civilization, Kiana was teleported to a Japanese town called Tenguu City as a baby with no memories of her past life as a Taken tyrant. However, by the consequences of destiny, she was once again adopted by a new foster mother called Haruko Couteau, a young Japanese woman married with Iruka Couteau from Couteau Family, thus giving her the name of "Katarina Couteau", starting the events of the story. Whereas she was once treated as a supreme goddess by trillion civilizations, adored, worshiped, loved and admired, in Prime Earth the once-all powerful goddess became an abuse victim, a tragic child with a life of nothing more than misery and tragedy, a depressive loner with suicidal tendencies, a frequent target of violent bullying and nothing more than a "loser" trying to get recognition through her pride that seems to one of the few things left of her old persona.

On Earth, she is the adoptive granddaughter of Iruka Couteau and Haruko Couteau, the niece of Akrak Couteau, the older foster sister of Eugen Katsuragi and La Folia Rihavein/Imperia Deamonne. Despite her now long-defeat, Katarina continued to be tormented by her nemesis Ara Astaroth as she continued to torment the once prideful queen and directly caused the death of her foster parents in a car crash. Years after their death, Katarina was adopted by a close family of the Couteaus, the Langleys, and became the foster daughter of Hana Langley and her unnamed husband but due to the difficulty relationship, Hana committed suicide after her husband tried to kill her and Katarina, leaving the latter as an orphan for the rest of her childhood. Following the death of Hana, she was forced her to live alone in the wilderness for much of her young life, during her time alone, she suffered bullying, torture and psychological abuse by the hands of her classmates and bad people from the Japanese society that judged her as a criminal, gangster and thug because of her scarlet hair (which favored her mental insanity) and became an outcast with misanthropic tendencies (hatred of humans). At one point after her corruption by the society, she thought about wiping out all humans from the planet which could have awakened her dark personality and would eventually destroy the world with her Taken powers, however, La Folia Rihavein, the fallen princess of Aldegyr Kingdom, met her before it could happen and stopped her insane rampage with her pure-heart.

As fighter who later discovered her true powers, Katarina is able to concentrate her ExKrieg and Taken energy and use it for devastatingly powerful energy-based attacks, the most prominent being her signature is "Pylóna tis Agonías", (Αγωνίες Πυλώνα tis, "Pillar of Agony" in Greek) in which Katarina launches a dark red energy blast from her right hand and eradicate any being of the existence by sending them to the Void where she once ruled supreme without even knowing what it represents to her. Despite her brutal and sociopathic nature that appears in times, Katarina tries her best to keep her psychopathy aside and seeks to bring peace and protect the people around her but lost herself on the way. As the protagonist, Katarina appears in most of the episodes, spinoffs, specials and crossover of the storylines of CIS Productions. Due to her role in the story, Katarina has become one of the most recognizable characters by all members of CIS Productions. Despite that, Katarina is somehow a controversial character because of her mental illness, psychopathy, hypocritical behavior and split personality that turns her into a psychopathic murder, insane sadistic killer and a brutal homicidal fighter, and because of that Katarina has an anti-heroic personality of a good-hearted person and another personality with a cold and evil woman with homicidal tendencies.

Unlike her previous incarnation, Kiana does not comes off as cheerful and funny to hide her inner darkness or because of sheer incompetence but comes out as a person with serious depressive and is always living in constant misery and sadness to the point of pitiful if not petty which is a mirror to her previous prideful and divine persona whom was widely known to be a patient, charming, cold-hearted, manipulative, charismatic, social and outgoing. However, this is the result of daily constant abuses and bullying from other people that forced her to active a "self-defense" mechanism that would defend her from the world by closing herself to people and would eventually result in mistrust and misanthropy. Despite this, her closure to the world also gives opportunity to people with malicious intentions of using and manipulating her to do their bidding under the promises of better life or give her what she want to fill her empty life. However, the mechanism is slowly released as she get even more familiar with people like Asuha Chigusa, Shiaryh Myfella and La Folia Rihavein that also reveals a personality of a determinated, mighty, caring and a friendly person who finally could reveal herself to people she could trust and love. Yet, once her memories come back, her inner-self will once again come to the surface with the arrogance, cruelty and monstrosity of an omnicidal tyrant with no respect for life and sadistic tendencies of butchering entire worlds and species for sheer pleasure of dominance.

Katarina is an OC created by DestroyerSubjugator90 in 2015 and later reworked by Sirin of the Void in 2020 to 2021.

Overview[]

Name[]

Kiana[]

The name of Kiana has several meanings that come from all over the world, to have settled on a boat in the Whitsundays.

Kiana is said to be a predominately a girl’s name, of either Irish, Persian or Hawaiian origin. Her Irish roots say that Kiana is the modern and feminine variant of Kian, meaning ‘ancient’ or ‘God is gracious’. In Hawaii Kiana is a variant of the English name Diana, and means ‘divine’ or ‘heavenly’ and is said to be a calming name. Her Persian roots show that Kiana means ‘elements of nature’, perhaps a reflection of her dependence on wind power and her immersion into the natural world of the Whitsundays. It is a suitable name for a boat such as Kiana, who is both divine and an element of nature.

One dictionary stated that the name Kiana is a quirky, powerful person. She thrives off humour and energy and that they will strive to reach their full potential in all that they do. Kiana of the Whitsundays is much the same, with an amazing track record at keeping her passengers happy. She has something to offer everyone: not only is she a qualified dive vessel, but she also has a shaded deck space, an onboard bar, delicious meals, private cabins, large bathrooms and an amazing crew of three! Kiana takes 14 passengers at a time and even ventures to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, one of the few boats in the Whitsundays to do so. For his reason she remains a Whitsundays favourite, catering to her passenger's needs and showing them an amazing time in the Whitsundays.

Katarina[]

While her true name was based from Katarina Du Couteau, the authors kept her name like this (the same was kept for part of her character's inspiration, Elesis) because the names were already good enough for the characters but the authors did everything to prevent the characters from the originals works be similar to CIS!Katarina in all points.

Katarina is a feminine given name. It is the standard Swedish, Slovak, Serbo-Croatian, and Slovenian form of Katherine, and a variant spelling in several other languages. In Croatia, it is the fourth most common female given name, or third if combined with the short form Kata, and in Serbia it is within the 10 most popular names for girls born since 1991. The definition of Katarina is a girl who cares for others over herself. Has a great personality and lovable. Once you get to know her, you feel an unbreakable bond that will last a lifetime. She is the one who will back you up for who you are, and would never judge you off anything. Very easy to fall madly in love with her and is insanely beautiful. She treats everyone she knows like they are her own family.

In Greek, Slavic, Hungarian and Swedish, the meaning of the name Katarina is: Pure.

"Couteau" in French means "knife". A knife is a tool with a cutting edge or blade attached to a handle. Mankind's first tool, knives were used at least two-and-a-half million years ago, as evidenced by the Oldowan tools. Originally made of rock, bone, flint, and obsidian, over the centuries, in step with improvements in metallurgy or manufacture, knife blades have been made from bronze, copper, iron, steel, ceramics, and titanium. Most modern knives have either fixed or folding blades; blade patterns and styles vary by maker and country of origin.

Knives can serve various purposes. Hunters use a hunting knife, soldiers use the combat knife, scouts, campers, and hikers carry a pocket knife; there are kitchen knives for preparing foods (the chef's knife, the paring knife, bread knife, cleaver), table knives (butter knives and steak knives), weapons (daggers or switchblades), knives for throwing or juggling, and knives for religious ceremony or display (the kirpan).

Red Haired Demon[]

For living in a Japanese society, Katarina was nicknamed as Red Haired Demon thanks to her scarlet hair. In the Japanese society, a Red Demon is called as "Oni". Oni are a kind of yōkai, supernatural demon, devils, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore. They are typically portrayed as hulking figures with one or more horns growing out of their heads. Stereo typically, they are conceived of as red or blue-colored (green-colored), wearing loincloths of tiger pelt, and carrying iron clubs.

Depictions of oni vary widely but usually portray them as hideous, gigantic ogre-like creatures with a single horn or multiple horns emerging from their heads, with sharp claws and wild hair. They are often depicted wearing tiger-skin loincloths and carrying iron clubs called kanabō. This image leads to the expression "oni with an iron club" , that is, to be invincible or undefeatable. Their skin may be any number of colors, but red, blue, and green are particularly common. They may sometimes also be depicted as black-skinned, or yellow-skinned.They may occasionally be depicted with a third eye on their forehead, or extra fingers and toes.

An old etymology for "oni" is that the word derives from on, the on'yomi reading of a character meaning "to hide or conceal", due to oni having the tendency of "hiding behind things, not wishing to appear". This explanation is found in the 10th century dictionary Wamyōshō, which reveals that the oni at the time had a different meaning, defined as "a soul/spirit of the dead".

Design and Appearance[]

ENrcenpVAAEUDAH

Katarina's full body at the age of 19-20.

Katarina is described as a girl that inherited the beauty of Mikaela Du Tirial and the twisted personality of her father, Ike Ray Peram Westcott and "a girl with astonishing beauty" as described by Yuri Barnes and Spectra. Despite her otherwordly beauty, she has a double-swing of personality that changes her appearance between heroine-like and "evil"-like. While pretending to be a good person, she ties her hair to look like a normal woman taking care of her appearance and wears colorful clothes to give her a girly look.

In her true personality, the side she is most comfortable with, she care less for her looks and do as she pleases by wearing black and red clothes, wears asymmetrical clothes and torn pantyhose, and has a tattoo on her upper chest symbolizing her broken heart. Katarina let her hair messy and on loose and had black tribal tattoos on her right arm with blood-like lines that gave hint to her dark and wicked side.

Overall, Rentaro Satomi considers Katarina to be "impossibly beautiful girl" and could easily give the impression of non-civilized people to be a goddess of another world. She has a slender, voluptuous figure and pale skin that has never missed maintenance despite her lack of care for her feminine looks. In all ages, she is woman with long red-haired girl that usually messy but shines in the light with dark scarlet eyes with dark and empty pupils and of average height typical of those from the Westcott Clan heritage.

She appears to be thin but has a voluptuous body of a non-muscular Amazon despite her fighting-personality and possess a very defined and fine body of a young model with almost no body-hair found as part of Mikaela's ExKriegs lineage. Katarina has ivory skin that is said to have unwillingly seduced Tomas Sev.

Katarina had a very growth spurt and was taller than some men thanks to her ExKrieg's heritage, a race that is composed of warriors and women had to grow above men's height to have advantage in combat. She had 1,70 meters (4,5 feet 2 inches) making her one of the tallest members of the Rogues, losing only to Maria Arzonia and Selina Strawberry.

Katarina is also a person with very sharp nails and care little about cutting them but when she let her true side on loose, she painted them with black, hinting her gothic personality and her uncommon love for the black color that was a part of Ike Westcott she inherited. While not being a woman who did efforts to be more feminine, Katarina still had a natural beauty that did not need the usage of make-up to be considered some kind of "Taken Goddess" (an affective nickname given by Ragnarok Iblis) to praise her looks in the middle of a race where women have attractive and god-like beauties.

Katarina's Psychosexual (mature)[]

1 mu0IO T-2wGxvbUPQI8SNw

The death of her parents and the suicide of Hana, during Katarina psychosexual phallic stage which was the result of the lack of a mother and father role model might have cost her a fixation in that stage and lead to Katarina's failure to interact with other people, especially her love interests. Katarina, to protect herself and be able to interact with others, created an image of herself where she idealized to be; a pure-hearted heroine. In truth, Katarina has severe depression but that is not the only problem she got in term of psychology.

The so-called psychosexual are defense mechanisms and stages of development by Sigmund Freud and his daughter, Anna Freud combine with speaking model by Dell Hymes. Defense mechanism is the ego-defense of our mind that we will do something to protect our mind from being guilt, anxious and depressed. This theory was conducted by Freud and later developed by his daughter. There are many defense mechanisms such as repression, regression, projection, displacement, reaction formation, denial, undoing and sublimation.

For psychosexual stage of development, Freud believed that all of personality complexes can be trace back when people were kids. There are five stages which are oral, anal, phallic, latency period and genital. If one can pass them properly, that is no problem, but if one cannot pass each stage. It will cause a fixation that affects our psyche when they grow up.

A992d9f97561f9ccc047f7162bfa4bj23ak

One of Katarina's most memorable moments

Katarina has employed defense mechanisms at the very beginning. During the middle of the story, Katarina has developed better personality from her good relationship with others before everything seems to be good until what makes her happy has been collapsed like good relationship with everyone especially with Ara Astaroth who revealed she was becoming someone she didn't want to.

Because of Katarina's severe depression, she employs various of defense mechanisms to keep herself alive from guilt by superego where as it can lead her to suicidal action or losing her own identity. She uses denial and false images of herself to run away from reality, starting to believe in her own fakeness. She also has apologizing habit in missions even she did nothing wrong which is the employment of undoing. Moreover, she uses projection that her Hana, who tried to help him, is a bad person for replacing her with a doll for not being a "good girl" enough. Katarina uses displacement to satisfy himself with the use of another helpless person to wipe of her frustrated feelings such as masturbating thinking in Rentaro Satomi, who loves her dearly but only sees him as a sexual tool. The last defense mechanism that has been used the most is the use of sublimation where she pushes her aggression against her enemies who hurt her friends from seeing her comrades being hurt when in truth she is joy of seeing them suffering.

There are two fixations due to psychosexual stages of Katarina which are Oedipus complex and genital stage fixation. The other two stages which are Oral and Anal stage she has passed them properly taken care by her mother, Mikaela Du Tirial, as she was breastfeed. Katarina in oral stage and carry, hold and caress while she is anal stage. However, Katarina's fixation starts at the phallic stage when her foster-mother died and her father tried to kill her while he was drunk.

Katarina has chance to meet her unnamed foster-father only once for a year on the death day of her mother. She and her father will meet at the front of Hana's grave while Katarina visits Haruko and Iruka's graves alone. Katarina lost both of her families, which makes her lacking parental figure and family. Katarina never goes to hiermother gravestone for three years for the hatred of her father as the Oedipus complex progresses. When Katarina meets Tomas Sev days before the Battle of Tokyo between KnightWalker Family and KnightWalker Funeral Parlor. From this phallic stage fixation affect the following stage to in genital stage. She cannot properly handle or approach opposite sex people or her love interest which is Rentaro Satomi which is a unsatisfactory relationship.

Hedgehog Dilemma[]

68629191 p2 master1200

False-Heroine Katarina and the true-Katarina.

The Hedgehog’s Dilemma is a psychologic theory about social problems. In CIS Productions, its manifestation and representation is Katarina Couteau, which makes her yet one of the most complex heroes to date.

The Hedgehog’s Dilemma is a theoretical psychological condition which seeks to explain how some people in conditions of prolonged emotional distress seek shelter from the pain of the world around them. The phenomenon is referred to under the synonym “The Porcupine’s Dilemma” by Freud in a note to his work Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego.

In the story, Ara Astaroth, uses the phenomenon is to explain the emotional status of Katarina to Vira Hermes, saying, “Even though a hedgehog may wish to become close with another hedgehog, the closer they get, the more they injure each other with their spines. It’s the same with some humans. The reason he seems so withdrawn is because he’s afraid of being hurt”. Katarina has many reasons to fear rejection. When Katarina was a young child her mother Hana Langley was lost in an experiment gone wrong, after which her father, abandoned her and tried to kill her alongside her mother. Another case is her rejection by society and other children who saw her as a vicious thug. The extreme lack of self-confidence and fear of rejection which resulted from these traumatic childhood experiences cause Katarina to withdraw from the company of others and avoid feeling attachment, only keeping them as friends but keeping distance from them as she only wants their love and praise.

When she thought about being herself, she thought everyone would hate her for being a cruel sadistic woman who only wanted to enjoy the pain and suffering from the World War III. While eliminating interactions with others does prevent the trauma of abandonment and loss, it deprives one of the ability to achieve any true degree of pleasure, only allowing a state of empty ambivalence. The psyche, while ostensibly motivated to seek pleasure and avoid pain, can at times execute courses of development which only serve to exacerbate the suffering and limit the fulfillment of an individual. The course of development taken by a person is the result of the relative strengths of the desire for pleasure versus the fear of pain. This dichotomy is one of the most basic factors governing human behavior and the operation of civilization itself.

Judging by the relative extroversion of society at large, it would seem that in most cases, the desire for pleasure exceeds the fear of the pain relationships with others all but inevitably bring. Thus, the experiences which a person undergoes in life, through positive and negative reinforcement can shape the manifestation of the ego significantly.

Introduction - Greater Hidden Evil[]

C47cb82033f5ccb4c8d1fd64bc2af79b

Katarina's inner self; a beauty tainted by blood and rottenness.

Katarina Tirial Couteau is probably the single most important heroic figure of CIS Productions after Spectra himself, the creator of all Lynenta Omniverse, being the character from LOTM: Sword of Kings with more development than any other character in the story besides Imperia Deamonne and Axel Davalos. Since her creation, Katarina had numerous developments that lifted her character over and over again, most of them being related to her internal conflicts and personality, with appearance and story being among the few. Katarina started as a typical shounen-anime hero with a single purpose to help others and protect the people she loves the most with a tragic background that drove them to become the hero they are today. However, the trope of Shounen Hero was later studied by the author and was deeply despised when the Shounen heroes are too simple-minded, easy to be understand and have very superficial traces that are nothing special or interesting such as Naruto Uzumaki, Midoriya Izuku, Son Goku and Natsu Dragneel (even so the mentioned heroes are inspirations for her character).

Such analysis on the trope drove the authors to rethink her character in 2017 and made her more of an anti-heroine with no sense of empathy for those who were not her friends, something that was given as an excuse for being the daughter of two genocidal maniacs. This is seen at the beginning of Angel Sub Arc where her insanity starts to go away after she was exposed to the energy of her inner twin sister, Elesis. By 2018, her character went from a complete anti-heroine to a TOTAL villain character trying to become a heroine so she could avoid her worst fears while also enjoying the suffering and pain of her enemies. By 2017, characters like Carl Robinson would become the first villain protagonist of CIS Productions, made the writers to retreat in calling her a villain considering she started an anti-heroine, switched to villain and later became an anti-villain for the rest of the story, being portrayed as a psychopath doing her best to control her urges. Before her freedom, Katarina was actually a psychopath with mental issues trying to become a good person by hiding herself behind her own lies and was somewhat a hypocrite feeling disgust for murderers when she is no different from them. In her new script, Katarina is a total psychopath unleashing her urges but has self-control but makes no efforts to hide this side. But at the same time, she could hold her desires and could still act as the same naive and idiot Katarina she was before.

Through all, Katarina's final development into a psychopath made her the second villain protagonist of CIS Productions, as well as the most complex and deep character of the story with most terrible experiences of life to date made her not a superficial hero but a suffering villain trying to become a decent person for the people around her so she will not end up being forgotten by the people, which, for her, is the worst abyss of solitude there is.

Sephirot - Glory[]

Kabbalah-tree-of-life-names-56a000e03df78cafda9f8e73

Kallabah tree

Hod (Hebrew הוד howd "majesty, splendour, glory") is the eighth sephira of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Hod sits below Gevurah and across from Netzach in the tree of life; Yesod is to the south-east of Hod. It has four paths, which lead to Gevurah, Tiphereth, Netzach, and Yesod. All the sephirot are likened to different parts of the body, and Netzach and Hod are likened to the two feet of a person i.e. the right and left foot. The feet are usually only the means for a person's activity. While the hands are the main instrument of action, the feet help bring a person to the place where he wishes to execute that action.

Hod is described as being a force that breaks down energy into different, distinguishable forms, and it is associated with intellectuality, learning and ritual, as opposed to Netzach, Victory, which is the power of energy to overcome all barriers and limitations, and is associated with emotion and passion, music and dancing. Both these forces find balance in Yesod, foundation, the world of the unconscious, where the different energies created await expression in the lowest world of Malkuth, the Kingdom. The archangel of this sphere is Michael, and the Bene Elohim is the Angelic order. The opposing demonic order in the Qliphoth is Samael, headed by the Archdemon Adrammelech. Hod is said to be the sphere in which the magician mostly works. An example is given by Dion Fortune in The Mystical Qabalah: Imagine primitive man is meditating in the wilderness, and comes in contact with, and begins to understand, some energy that surrounds him. So that he can grasp it better, he creates some form, perhaps the form of a god or a symbol, so he has something he can relate to. He then uses that statue or that symbol in future ceremonies to contact that intangible energy once again.

This is the role that Hod plays in magic, while the music and dance that may be present in such a ceremony is the role that Netzach might play, providing the raw energy to reach the higher levels of consciousness. In comparison with Eastern systems, both Hod and Netzach are sometimes associated with the Manipura chakra, which is associated with the breaking down and releasing of energy, anabolism and catabolism.

Qlipha - Desolation[]

Samael (Angel of Death) Personification

Samael, the Angel of Death.

Samael is Desolation of God, or The Left Hand “. Hod is the complex working of the will of the Absolute. Samael represents the barren desolation of a fallen and failed creation. The outer form is Theuniel, 'The filthy Wailing Ones of God'.” Adrammelech: Powerful King. He is an important archangel in Talmudic and post-Talmudic lore, a figure who is the accuser (Ha-Satan), seducer, and destroyer (Mashhit), and has been regarded as both good and evil. Rabbinical writings describe Samael as the guardian angel of Esau and a patron of Edom.

To Samael, Adrammelech is attributed. “This name is found in Fourth Kings: XVII, 29-31: ' And the men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima, and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.”

He is considered in Talmudic texts to be a member of the heavenly host (with often grim and destructive duties). One of Samael's greatest roles in Jewish lore is that of the main archangel of death. He remains one of God's servants even though he condones the sins of man. As an angel, Samael resides in the seventh heaven, although he is declared to be the chief angel of the fifth heaven, the reason for this being the presence of the throne of glory in the seventh heaven.

In Judaism, Samael is said to be the angel of death, and the title "Satan" is accorded to him. While Satan describes his function as an accuser, Samael is considered to be his proper name. While Michael defends Israel's actions, Samael tempts people to sin. He is also depicted as the angel of death and one of the seven archangels, the ruler over the Fifth Heaven and commander of two million angels such as the chief of other satans. Yalkut Shimoni, presents Samael as Esau's guardian angel.

Symbolism[]

320px-Black-widow-red-spots-yellow-legs

Katarina is represented by the the Black Widow spider species. Latrodectus is a broadly distributed genus of spiders with several species that together are referred to as true widows. This group is composed of those often loosely called black widow spider, brown widow spiders, and similar spiders. However, such general "common names" are of limited use as the diversity of species is much greater. A member of the Theridiidae family, this genus contains 32 species, which include several North American "Black Widows" (Southern Black Widow Latrodectus mactans, Western Black Widow Latrodectus hesperus, and Northern Black Widow Latrodectus variolus). In addition to these in North America are also the Red Widow Latrodectus bishopi and the Brown Widow Latrodectus geometricus, which, in addition to North America, has a much wider geographic distribution. Elsewhere, others include the European black widow (Latrodectus tredecimguttatus), the Australian Redback Black Widow (Latrodectus hasseltii) or several different species in Southern Africa that can be called Button spiders.

Species vary widely in size. In most cases, the females are dark-coloured, but some may have lighter bodies or even reddish. Many can have red, white or brown markings on the upper-side (dorsal) of the abdomen. Some can be readily identifiable by reddish markings on the central underside (ventral) abdomen, which are often hourglass-shaped. These small spiders have an unusually potent venom containing the neurotoxin latrotoxin, which causes the condition latrodectism, both named after the genus. Female widow spiders have unusually large venom glands and their bite can be particularly harmful to large vertebrates, including humans. Only the bites of the females are dangerous to humans. Despite their notoriety, Latrodectus bites rarely cause death or produce serious complications.

The prevalence of sexual cannibalism, a behaviour in which the female eats the male after mating, has inspired the common name "widow spiders". This behaviour may promote the survival odds of the offspring; however, females of some species only rarely show this behaviour, and much of the documented evidence for sexual cannibalism has been observed in laboratory cages where the males could not escape. Male black widow spiders tend to select their mates by determining if the female has eaten already to avoid being eaten themselves. They are able to tell if the female has fed by sensing chemicals in the web.

Like other members of the Theridiidae, widow spiders construct a web of irregular, tangled, sticky silken fibres. Black widow spiders prefer to nest near the ground in dark and undisturbed areas, usually in small holes produced by animals, or around construction openings or wood piles. Indoor nests are in dark, undisturbed places such as under desks or furniture or in a basement. The spider frequently hangs upside down near the centre of its web and waits for insects to blunder in and get stuck. Then, before the insect can extricate itself, the spider rushes over to envenomate and wrap it in silk. To feed, the spider's mouth pulses digestive juices over the prey, which liquifies—and then the spider internalizes by capillary action, sucking the slurry into its mouth. Their prey consists of small insects such as flies, mosquitoes, grasshoppers, beetles, and caterpillars. If the spider perceives a threat, it quickly lets itself down to the ground on a safety line of silk.

Sin Motif - Pride[]

Paradise Lost 12

Illustration for John Milton's Paradise Lost by Gustave Doré (1866). The spiritual descent of Lucifer into Satan is one of the most famous examples of hubris.

Pride is an inwardly directed emotion that carries two antithetical meanings. With a negative connotation pride refers to a foolishly and irrationally corrupt sense of one's personal value, status or accomplishments, used synonymously with hubris. With a positive connotation, pride refers to a humble and content sense of attachment toward one's own or another's choices and actions, or toward a whole group of people, and is a product of praise, independent self-reflection, and a fulfilled feeling of belonging. In Judaism, pride is called the root of all evil. Philosophers and social psychologists have noted that pride is a complex secondary emotion which requires the development of a sense of self and the mastery of relevant conceptual distinctions (e.g. that pride is distinct from happiness and joy) through language-based interaction with others. Some social psychologists identify the nonverbal expression of pride as a means of sending a functional, automatically perceived signal of high social status. In contrast, pride could also be defined as a lowly disagreement with the truth. One definition of pride in the former sense comes from St. Augustine: "the love of one's own excellence". A similar definition comes from Meher Baba: "Pride is the specific feeling through which egoism manifests."

Pride is sometimes viewed as corrupt or as a vice, sometimes as proper or as a virtue. While some philosophers such as Aristotle (and George Bernard Shaw) consider pride (but not hubris) a profound virtue, some world religions consider pride's fraudulent form a sin, such as is expressed in Proverbs 11:2 of the Hebrew Bible. When viewed as a virtue, pride in one's abilities is known as virtuous pride, greatness of soul or magnanimity, but when viewed as a vice it is often known to be self-idolatry, sadistic contempt, vanity or vainglory. Pride can also manifest itself as a high opinion of one's nation (national pride) and ethnicity (ethnic pride). In addition, exaggerated self-esteem is also called "pride". Classical Christian theology views pride as being the result of high self-esteem, and thus high self-esteem was viewed as the primary human problem, but beginning in the 20th century, "humanistic psychology" diagnosed the primary human problem as low self-esteem stemming from a lack of belief in one's "true worth". Carl Rogers observed that most people "regard themselves as worthless and unlovable." Thus, they lack self-esteem.

Terry Cooper conceptualized in 2003 excessive pride (along with low self-esteem) as an important paradigm in describing the human condition. He examines and compares the Augustinian-Niebuhrian conviction that pride is primary, the feminist concept of pride as being absent in the experience of women, the humanistic psychology position that pride does not adequately account for anyone's experience, and the humanistic psychology idea that if pride emerges, it is always a false front designed to protect an undervalued self. He considers that the work of certain neo-Freudian psychoanalysts, namely Karen Horney, offers promise in dealing with what he calls a "deadlock between the overvalued and undervalued self" (Cooper, 112–3). Cooper refers to their work in describing the connection between religious and psychological pride as well as sin to describe how a neurotic pride system underlies an appearance of self-contempt and low self-esteem. Thus, hubris, which is an exaggerated form of self-esteem, is sometimes actually a lie used to cover the lack of self-esteem the committer of pride feels deeply down.

Animal Motif - Black Wolf[]

Tumblr mzn800Pp7J1sk9x7co1 500

A black wolf is a melanistic colour variant of the gray wolf (Canis lupus). Black specimens are recorded among red wolves (Canis rufus), though the phase is probably now extinct. Genetic research from the Stanford University School of Medicine and the University of California, Los Angeles revealed that wolves with black pelts owe their distinctive coloration to a mutation which occurred in domestic dogs, and was carried to wolves through wolf-dog hybridization. Besides coat and knee colour, they are normal grey wolves.

Black wolves were occasionally reported in Asia. The "Derboun" of the Arabian mountains and southern Syria was a small black wolf which apparently was considered by the Arabs to be more closely related to dogs, as they freely ate its flesh like any other game, unlike with regular wolves which had an unpleasant odour. Black wolves in Tibet are known locally as chanko nagpo, and are considered bolder and more aggressive than the pale coloured variety. Small populations inhabit Ladakh.

As black-colored wolves occur more frequently in forested areas than on the tundra (black coats occur in about 62% of wolves in the forested areas of the Canadian Arctic, compared with about 7% in the icy tundra), melanism was concluded by the researchers to give those wolves an adaptive advantage. The mutation's purpose has not yet been identified. Dr. Barsh ruled out camouflage, as wolves have few natural predators, and there is no evidence that a black coat color leads to any increase in hunting success rates. Dr. Barsh observed that beta-defensin is involved in providing immunity to viral and bacterial skin infections, which might be more common in forested, warmer environments.

It has been suggested that the mutation's association with forested habitats means that the prevalence of melanism should increase as forests expand northward. Dark fur is believed to be dominant in wolves. A mating between a black and a gray wolf resulted in 10 pups with dark fur out of a total of 14.

Kiana's Physical Appearance[]

Physical Ill Conditions (both)[]

Heterochromia[]

Heterochromia is a variation in coloration. The term is most often used to describe color differences of the iris, but can also be applied to color variation of hair or skin. Heterochromia is determined by the production, delivery, and concentration of melanin (a pigment). It may be inherited, or caused by genetic mosaicism, chimerism, disease, or injury. It occurs in humans and certain breeds of domesticated animals.

Heterochromia of the eye is called heterochromia iridum or heterochromia iridis. It can be complete or sectoral. In complete heterochromia, one iris is a different color from the other. In sectoral heterochromia, part of one iris is a different color from its remainder. In central heterochromia, there is a ring around the pupil or possibly spikes of different colors radiating from the pupil.

Though multiple causes have been posited, the scientific consensus is that a lack of genetic diversity is the primary reason behind heterochromia, at least in domestic animals. This is due to a mutation of the genes that determine melanin distribution at the 8-HTP pathway, which usually only become corrupted due to chromosomal homogeneity. Though common in some breeds of cats, dogs, cattle and horses, due to inbreeding, heterochromia is uncommon in humans, affecting fewer than 200,000 people in the United States, and is not associated with lack of genetic diversity.

The affected eye may be hyperpigmented (hyperchromic) or hypopigmented (hypochromic). In humans, an increase of melanin production in the eyes indicates hyperplasia of the iris tissues, whereas a lack of melanin indicates hypoplasia. The term is from Ancient Greek: ἕτερος, héteros 'different' and χρῶμα, chrôma 'color'.

Haemolacria[]

Haemolacria or hemolacria is a physical condition that causes a person to produce tears that are partially composed of blood. It can manifest as tears that are anything from merely red-tinged to appearing to be entirely made of blood.

Haemolacria is a symptom of a number of diseases, and may also be indicative of a tumor in the lacrimal apparatus. It is most often provoked by local factors such as bacterial conjunctivitis, environmental damage or injuries. Acute haemolacria can occur in fertile women and seems to be induced by hormones, similarly to what happens in endometriosis.

HIV immunity[]

A small proportion of humans show partial or apparently complete inborn resistance to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. The main mechanism is a mutation of the gene encoding CCR5, which acts as a co-receptor for HIV. It is estimated that the proportion of people with some form of resistance to HIV is under 10%.

In 1994, Stephen Crohn became the first person discovered to be completely resistant to HIV in all tests performed despite having partners infected by the virus. Crohn's resistance was a result of the absence of a receptor, which prevent the HIV from infecting CD4 present on the exterior of the white blood cells. The absence of such receptors, or rather the shortening of them to the point of being inoperable, is known as the delta 32 mutation.[4] This mutation is linked to groups of people that have been exposed to HIV but remain uninfected such as some offspring of HIV positive mothers, health officials, and sex workers.

In early 2000, researchers discovered a small group of sex workers in Nairobi, Kenya who were estimated to have sexual contact with 60 to 70 HIV positive clients a year without signs of infection.[6] These sex workers were not found to have the delta mutation leading scientists to believe other factors could create a genetic resistance to HIV. Researchers from Public Health Agency of Canada have identified 15 proteins unique to those virus-free sex workers. Later, however, some sex workers were discovered to have contracted the virus, leading the Oxford University researcher Sarah Rowland-Jones to believe continual exposure is a requirement for maintaining immunity.

Hyperacusis[]

Hyperacusis is a very rare and highly debilitating hearing disorder characterized by an increased sensitivity to certain frequencies and volume ranges of sound, or a lower than average tolerance for environmental noise. A person with severe hyperacusis has great difficulty tolerating many everyday sounds, which are perceived by the person as uncomfortably loud and sometimes physically painful. The prevalence of hyperacusis is 1 in 50,000 people. Hyperacusis is often coincident with tinnitus. The latter is more common and there are important differences between their involved mechanisms.

Personality[]

Katarina Couteau[]

Surface[]

Katarina is the definition of the “shrinking violet” archetype. She is shy, clumsy, and tends to get worked up over the smallest things. Katarina is extremely self-conscious, especially regarding her notoriously her laziness. She is socially awkward most times as she afraid of socializing with people that are not La Folia, fearing they will betray and abuse her like everyone else in the past, thus she formed her own defensive mechanism by avoid contact with other people. In spite of this, she is shown to be quite passionate and determined when motivated, and is loyal to her friends and allies. She also shows genuine concern for the well-being of those close to her due her bloodlust tendencies.

DXDAK3XU0AUf-ZJ

Katarina's insanity

Katarina is carefree and reckless in nature but she is a fiercely loyal and protective friend whom will not hesitate in lifting her arm if a person who accepted her is in danger. She is willing to go down fighting for her friends, regardless of how futile it might seem, this was developed after she lost Eugen during her fight with Aki Astaroth. Katarina has a straightforward mind, and often tackles issues with a "hands on" approach. Her solution to problems often involve violence and death, such as solving all problems by killing every single one of her enemies without mercy, something that even some Forsaken refuses to accept. Even when disrespected or faced with obvious hostility, Katarina rarely ever reciprocates the feelings, and often forgoes grudge-holding. She holds resentment for herself, deeming herself a failure as an older sister to Vira Hermes and being naive enough to be deceived by Michael Langdon.

Her simple nature often comes off as naïve, which often makes many incorrectly assume her to be somewhat stupid. Despite this, Katarina is remarkably effective at applying herself once properly motivated, able to quickly comprehend the situation and likewise learn the basics of anything presented to her, if not master it. When taking a firsthand experience, Katarina is shown to be incredibly perceptive and intuitive, quickly able to analyze the situation and formulate an effective countermeasure be it a fight or even an entire battlefield where she can lead troops and even entires armadas into combat with effective strategies and plans to defeat the enemy. Also very methodical and tactical in her approach, she even saw through the limits of her transformations and chose to instead refine her normal base form without transforming, impressing even her rival Azul Jissele at the crafty and innovative idea. Katarina and Azul have a very one-sided relationship. Their rivalry seems mostly one-sided as Katarina is generally friendly towards Azul and recognizes her abilities as a fighter, although Katarina does get competitive with Azul as seen from learning that Azul left without her to train. While Katarina and Azul have trouble working together, due to their conflicting personalities and Azul's continue desire to best Katarina, they both respect and motivate each other to grow stronger. While Katarina is generally friendly towards Azul, Katarina is not above teasing her.

Katarina's past continues to influence who she is and how she acts. She admitted that she believes that having a loving family is all someone really needs in life, due to her lack of a family during her childhood as she lived with a family only half of her childhood. Despite her tomboyish tendencies, she also has many girly traits to her character including an interest in cute animals. Katarina is also obsessed with the panda Lao Jiu because of its adorable appearance. She even talks to animals thinking they will understand her, which happens to understand considering her Taken's genes that allow her to communicate with sea creatures like fish, shrimp, shark, whales, octopuses, jellyfish and even plankton.

While Katarina is initially is sweet and friendly by nature, but she can be quite scary when threatened or angry. Certain situations in the story cause her personality to change dramatically when her own friends lie to her which strongly suggests that she does hate lies, especially from friends. She does not seem to bother with her own enemies lying to her as it was already expected.

Katarina having fun while killing

In conjunction, Katarina also holds a great affinity for humans who take pride in themselves, often expressing her desire to die by a human/mortal instead of dying by a demon, angel or even a Cyborg. She often shows respect for certain humans for their bravery, such as the mortal Iscariot members who fought through Ara Astaroth's undead army using only weapons and not magic like the Cultus Pythonissam would do. A billion years later, Katarina seems deeply sad and envious of mortals, for they are blessed with the gift of death due to the point they've attacked or provoked her. While she herself is unable to die and must walk the Multi-Universe for eternity. Over the course of her existence, Katarina has come to realize that life needs death to make it precious.

Another important aspect of Katarina's personality is her relationship with God. She believed that words alone were not enough to establish one's faith. Rather, she believed that the only way to attract God's attention was to accomplish deeds in His name. In accordance with this belief, she never asked God for favors, but instead did many great and terrible things while thinking good and evil didn't exist and so she could torture and kill as a many she wanted since they were "evil" and she believed she would not pay for any of those crimes. She became famous and feared for killing evildoers as a Taken Wolf that would go in a rampage once every year. After losing Eugen, she felt abandoned by the world (with the exception of La Folia Rihavein, Mana Takamiya and Rentaro Satomi) and abandoned by God and began to hate religion while using the excuse she is a monster and has no rights to obey any "false god".

Her level of maturity in comparison to the other characters is somewhat questionable; she seems to be the child the others could not be, yet possessing a sort of worldly maturity and superficial intelligence that most other characters lack, as well as a sort of 'nature winning against nurture' mentality, as opposed to most other characters. She's the "light that stands out from the darkness" considering that she at least have more of a realistic personality among their members of the Rogues who have an unique personality while she display both light and darkness in the same person. Despite all her peculiar traits and habits (with her trademark dimwitted behavior), Katarina's most defining part of her personality is the ability to make allies out of absolutely anyone which is said by many Gods to be the most dangerous Devils of the the Underworld in the world. Her stubbornness was taken up to ridiculous levels when she managed to free herself from Ara's mind control by merely punching herself.

True Personality[]

1TUVO19

"Don't leave me..."

Much of Katarina's past personality is a façade, a hypocritical facade to hide her true weak and fragile subconsciousness. When she joined Ratatosk, she did everything they order without questioning it, choosing simply to go along with what everyone else says. Though Katarina denies it, she yearns for praise, and she eventually begins to fight to gain the approval and praise of others just so she can be remembered by everyone as a heroine while taking advantage of her image to free herself from her social chains in causing pain and suffering in her enemies so she can enjoy her sadistic pleasure in secret of everyone.

She also continually tells her self "I mustn't run away!", further demonstrating her need to move forward and let go of the past but it's later revealed to be a "I prefer to be the predator than the prey" case where she is tired of being the only one suffering. Katarina shows a great fear of emotional pain and of being hated or left behind, likely due to her perception of being abandoned in her youth and, subsequently, blaming herself for not being good enough to make her mother, Hana Langley stick around as she replaced her with a doll.

In general, Katarina is shown to be introverted and disconnected from physical reality due to having little to no real meaningful contact with others as she formed friends based in her false image of being a heroine rather than herself. In social party situations, she is shown to be quite uncomfortable, and she often has difficulty controlling her emotions around others due to her hard time letting go of the past. She is shown to the extreme of this, forsaking many lives (even her own) to save one person. Due to Katarina's high nostalgia and fragile emotional state, she chooses to shut out the world by trying her best to be the heroine she idolized to be.

Through all this, Katarina is also aware of her own faults, has a detailed memory of the past, and generally is outwardly gentle. She is the only one who tries to find a reason to fight, and sometimes her justification for fleeing from being herself is to avoid hurting others she love the most. In sense, Katarina is a sadist psychopath trying her best to be a good person but her insanity always take her to the wrong place. Making her different from all psychopaths in real-life who don't even try to understand what is right and wrong.

Bloody Moon Tyrant[]

Katarina as the Bloody Moon Tyrant

As the Bloody Moon Tyrant, her Hyvralisk version, she is much more mature and cold almost never displaying emotions to the point of being compared to a robot. Red's defining trait is her sadism. Red loves inflicting pain and misery on others around her. Red views everyone around her as a plaything that she could torture to her heart's content. When she looked back into her past as Katarina, she grew envious of the affection that Katarina received from her parents and her new friend, and decided that stealing what belonged to others would satiate her sense of true loneliness.

Red unlike Katarina who solved most of her problem with her fists, she is a skilled manipulator, having manipulated people to meet her ends. Red gets off on the suffering of her victims so much so, even Vira Hermes, is disgusted by her and denies her existence as she is not the lovable and naive Katarina that Vira once loves. Besides enjoying the pain of others, Red also gets aroused by receiving injuries as evidenced by her becoming ecstatic when Imperia cuts her hand with one of her knives. In addition, Red is blunt, sarcastic and quite sadistic (even more than Katarina), revealing a psychotic grin or laughing maniacally whenever she becomes excited. She is also very rude and quite disrespectful towards her underlings who she has no respect whatsoever.

In battle, Red is merciless and almost unstoppable due to her abilities. She has a habit of hissing during fights, and often loses all control of herself much like Katarina. Despite this, she can stop herself and focus on her mission. She shows a greater sense of morality both in her treatment of the orphans under her care and her eventual assistance to Ratatoskr and betrayal of Crauz (who becomes drunk with power and starts disobeying her orders). Her complexity is later demonstrated by her respect for Wáng's conviction.

Kiana Kronii[]

Kiana has always carried herself in a well-mannered, exemplary fashion almost indistinguishable from that of nobility; her mannerisms, coupled with her keen intellect, often leave people astounded people. Self-assuredly unique from others, Kiana's presence has always been undeniable; those who meet her end up viewing her with either good will or animosity, with the former growing into trust or fellowship, and the latter into awe or even dread. Those who choose to follow Kiana typically are overcome with emotions upon their first encounter with her, either entranced by the thought of splendor and grandeur at her side, or reeled in by her strong sense of ambition and conviction. Conversely, she is capable of perceiving even the most subtle ill will a person harbors toward her, even upon first meeting them, and acts accordingly from that point on. An understanding of such mortal emotions and motivations, and an ambition paying heed to nothing but ascension, have enabled Kiana to ascend alone above all.

The deaths of those fighting for her dream take a toll on her. In order to cope with the loss of them and ensure their deaths aren't in vain, Kiana begins relying on cold logic and reasoning, placing higher precedence on success than compassion – paradoxically expressing compassion for her comrades by suppressing it. It is not long before she is completely apathetic to her comrades' deaths. Even then, she still possesses her morality, and questions her immoral schemes, at one point inquiring her mother if she is a cruel person. The high esteem to which she is held does eventually have an effect on her ego. Despite the affection she displays toward her comrades, Kiana comes to believe they are beneath her nonetheless, considering them nothing more than tools for achieving her dream, with none of them fitting her criteria of a true friend.

Kiana's malicious grin

Kiana is extremely manipulative, egocentric, and selfish, claiming that everything in the world is her possession and that she is the one and only queen of the entire Prime Multi-Universe and stated that wannabe monarchs like Ara Astaroth, Kaitlyn Powell, the Fallen's Essence and many other malicious entities as thieves of her throne and vowed to take back her kingdom and "slaves". She is unable to acknowledge anyone's authority, not even from the gods. She is incredibly proud, especially of her ancient artifacts collection. In battle, she is prone to underestimating her opponents and views fights as a game of amusement. Her huge ego prevents her from acknowledging her opponent as a real threat and she doesn't take fights seriously at all. As such, she prefers to severely handicap herself and mindlessly shoot her endless number of minions.

At first glance, Kiana is dignified and graceful, with a generally calm demeanor. This calm exterior hid an extremely selfish and heartless personality, whom was willing to do anything to achieve her goals, from manipulating entire species to mass genocide. She had no problem with manipulating others into killing their beloved ones and driving them into insanity to take their Sin Virus. She had an abject lack of guilt stemming from her actions, showing no form of remorse when she caused someone mental or physical pain or even when she killed innocent people and concocted catastrophes. Kiana only saw the people around her as pawns or pets, not actually viewing them as intelligent creatures worthy of being considered her equals in any way. Described as being black hearted, she could not understand the feelings of others, and could be seen as a sociopath by normal standards. If it is to get a hold of more knowledge, she has no problems with employing sophistry, lying, and deceiving others. She is reasonably polite and even jovial to La Folia, whenever the two interacted. Even after the reveal that she was pretty much a sociopath and after La Folia called her a monster, she kept acting like an affable individual.

Kiana is an above all sadistic, callous and narcissistic tyrant who is not above killing, torturing, and brainwashing anyone to keep Prime Multi-Universe for herself, being able to even destroy entire universes if she wishes its cosmic structure suddenly became bothersome for the progress of its expansion. Fear of losing her own power and lifespan, Kiana takes control over all worlds as its ruler to keep herself in charge. Being a narcissistic sociopath and a woman with self-centered objectives, Kiana only wants to control everything in her reach, killing and torturing anyone who dares to challenge her or "her" empire, which is full of so much of decadence that both Spectra believed that the Prime Multi-Universe would be better if it was destroyed instead of being oppressed under Kiana's iron fist.

Disorders and Phobias[]

Thalassophobia[]

Thalassophobia is the persistent and intense fear of deep bodies of water such as the sea, oceans, pools, or lakes. Though very closely related, thalassophobia should not be mistaken with aquaphobia which is classified as the fear of water itself. Thalassophobia can include fear of being in deep bodies of water, fear of the vast emptiness of the sea, of sea waves, sea creatures, and fear of distance from land. The causes of thalassophobia are not clear and are a subject of research by medical professionals as they can vary greatly between individuals.

Researchers have proposed that the fear of large bodies of water is partly a human evolutionary response, and may also be related to popular culture influences which induce fright and distress. The severity of thalassophobia and the signs and symptoms associated with it are quite fluid and complex. Those who suffer from thalassophobia go through numerous episodes of emotional and physical anguish caused by a variety of triggers. Treatment may comprise a combination of therapy and anxiolytics, and is most effective when administered to patients during childhood, when thalassophobia is generally at its peak.

Claustrophobia[]

Claustrophobia is the fear of confined spaces. It can be triggered by many situations or stimuli, including elevators, especially when crowded to capacity, windowless rooms, and hotel rooms with closed doors and sealed windows. Even bedrooms with a lock on the outside, small cars, and tight-necked clothing can induce a response in those with claustrophobia. It is typically classified as an anxiety disorder, which often results in panic attacks. The onset of claustrophobia has been attributed to many factors, including a reduction in the size of the amygdala & classical conditioning.

One study indicates that anywhere from 5-10% of the world population is affected by severe claustrophobia, but only a small percentage of these people receive some kind of treatment for the disorder. claustrophobia is classified as a mental and behavioral disorder, specifically an anxiety disorder. Symptoms generally develop during childhood or adolescence. Claustrophobia is typically thought to have one key symptom: fear of suffocation. In at least one, if not several, of the following areas: small rooms, MRI or CAT scan apparatus, cars, buses, airplanes, trains, tunnels, underwater caves, cellars, elevators and caves.

The term claustrophobia comes from Latin claustrum "a shut in place" and Greek φόβος, phóbos, "fear".

Algophobia[]

Algophobia or algiophobia is a phobia of pain - an abnormal and persistent fear of pain that is far more powerful than that of a normal person. It can be treated with behavioral therapy and anti-anxiety medication. The term comes from the Greek: ἄλγος, álgos, "pain" and φόβος, phóbos, "fear".

According to Sabino Metta, a behavioral psychologist, the phobic reaction is a learned behavior. A common example of this would be an elderly person who hears about all of their friends suffering from various ailments and pains. This person will begin to anticipate the problems and experience the results before anything actually happens to them. People suffering from this probably have hyperalgesia.

The Fear of Pain Questionnaire (currently the FPQ-III), a mental health screening tool, has been used to test for algophobia in the past and was found to have good internal consistency and test-retest reliability.

Agoraphobia[]

Katarina starting to be afraid of unknown unsafe locations

Agoraphobia is a mental and behavioral disorder, specifically an anxiety disorder characterized by symptoms of anxiety in situations where the person perceives their environment to be unsafe with no easy way to escape. These situations can include open spaces, public transit, shopping centers, or simply being outside their home. Being in these situations may result in a panic attack. Those affected will go to great lengths to avoid these situations. In severe cases people may become completely unable to leave their homes.

Agoraphobia is believed to be due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors. The condition often runs in families, and stressful or traumatic events such as the death of a parent or being attacked may be a trigger. In the DSM-5 agoraphobia is classified as a phobia along with specific phobias and social phobia. Other conditions that can produce similar symptoms include separation anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and major depressive disorder. Those affected are at higher risk of depression and substance use disorder.

Without treatment it is uncommon for agoraphobia to resolve. Treatment is typically with a type of counselling called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT results in resolution for about half of people. Agoraphobia affects about 1.7% of adults. Women are affected about twice as often as men. The condition often begins in early adulthood and becomes less common in old age. It is rare in children. The term "agoraphobia" is from Greek ἀγορά, agorā́, meaning a "place of assembly" or "market-place" and -φοβία, -phobía, meaning "fear".

Haphephobia[]

Haphephobia (also known as aphephobia, haphophobia, hapnophobia, haptephobia, haptophobia, thixophobia, aphenphosmphobia) is a rare specific phobia that involves the fear of touching or of being touched. This is often associated with a fear of sexual assault. Michell Dorais reports that many who have been the victims of sexual abuse have a fear of being touched, quoting one victim who describes being touched as something that "burns like fire", causing him to freeze up or lash out.

Arachnophobia[]

Arachnophobia is the intense and irrational fear of spiders and other arachnids such as scorpions. People with arachnophobia tend to feel uneasy in any area they believe could harbour spiders or that has visible signs of their presence, such as webs. If an arachnophobe sees a spider, they may not enter the general vicinity until they have overcome the panic attack that is often associated with their phobia. Some people scream, cry, have emotional outbursts, experience trouble breathing, sweat and feel increased heart rates when they come in contact with an area near spiders or their webs. In some extreme cases, even a picture or a realistic drawing of a spider can trigger intense fear.

Arachnophobia may be an exaggerated form of an instinctive response that helped early humans to survive or a cultural phenomenon that is most common in predominantly European societies.

Atychiphobia[]

Fear of negative evaluation (FNE), also atychiphobia, is a psychological construct reflecting "apprehension about others' evaluations, distress over negative evaluations by others, and the expectation that others would evaluate one negatively". The construct and a psychological test to measure it were defined by David Watson and Ronald Friend in 1969. FNE is related to specific personality dimensions, such as anxiousness, submissiveness, and social avoidance. People who score high on the FNE scale are highly concerned with seeking social approval or avoiding disapproval by others, and may tend to avoid situations where they have to undergo evaluations. High FNE subjects are also more responsive to situational factors. This has been associated with conformity, pro-social behavior, and social anxiety.

Social anxiety is, in part, a response to perceived negative evaluation by others. Whereas FNE is related to the dread of being evaluated unfavorably when participating in a social situation, social anxiety is defined as a purely emotional reaction to this type of social situation. When patients with social phobia evaluate their relationships, they are extremely fearful of negative evaluation and express high degrees of FNE. As discussed by Deborah Roth Ledley, subjects in a study were asked to give a speech after completing a dot-probe paradigm task. After being presented with negative faces, low FNE participants did not display any increased apprehension, whereas high FNE participants displayed more apprehension.

FNE is a direct cause of eating disorders caused by social anxieties, I.e., the fear of being negatively evaluated upon appearance. It ranks higher than depression and social comparison in causes of eating disorders. This is because FNE is the foundation for bulimic attitudes and body dissatisfaction.

Catagelophobia[]

Gelotophobia is a fear of being laughed at, a type of social phobia. While most people do not like being laughed at, there is a sub-group of people that exceedingly fear it, and without obvious reasons, they relate laughter they hear to be directed at themselves. Since 2008, this phenomenon has attracted attention from scholars in psychology, sociology, and psychiatry, and has been studied intensively.

In his clinical observations, Michael Titze (1996) found that some of his patients seemed to be primarily worried about being laughed at. They tended to scan their environment for signs of laughter and ridicule. Furthermore, they reported that they had the impression of being ridiculous themselves. Additionally, Titze observed a specific movement pattern among them when they thought they were being laughed at—awkward, wooden movements that resembled those of wooden puppets. He described this state as "Pinocchio-syndrome".

Bipolar Disorder[]

Bipolar disorder, also known as manic depression, is a mental disorder with periods of depression and periods of elevated mood. The elevated mood is significant and is known as mania or hypomania, depending on its severity, or whether symptoms of psychosis are present. During mania, an individual behaves or feels abnormally energetic, happy, or irritable. Individuals often make poorly thought out decisions with little regard to the consequences. The need for sleep is usually reduced during manic phases. During periods of depression, there may be crying, a negative outlook on life, and poor eye contact with others. The risk of suicide among those with the illness is high at greater than 6 percent over 20 years, while self-harm occurs in 30–40 percent. Other mental health issues such as anxiety disorders and substance use disorder are commonly associated.

Pyromania[]

Pyromania is an impulse control disorder in which individuals repeatedly fail to resist impulses to deliberately start fires, in order to relieve some tension or for instant gratification. The term pyromania comes from the Greek word πῦρ (pyr, fire). Pyromania is distinct from arson, the deliberate setting of fires for personal, monetary or political gain. Pyromaniacs start fires to induce euphoria, and often fixate on institutions of fire control like fire houses and firemen. Pyromania is a type of impulse control disorder, along with kleptomania, intermittent explosive disorder and others.

There are specific symptoms that separate pyromaniacs from those who start fires for criminal purposes or due to emotional motivations not specifically related to fire. Someone suffering from this disorder deliberately and purposely sets fires on more than one occasion, and before the act of lighting the fire the person usually experiences tension and an emotional buildup. When around fires, a person suffering from pyromania gains intense interest or fascination and may also experience pleasure, gratification or relief (Frey 2001). Another long term contributor often linked with pyromania is the buildup of stress. When studying the lifestyle of someone with pyromania, a buildup of stress and emotion is often evident and this is seen in teens' attitudes towards friends and family (Gale 1998). At times it is difficult to distinguish the difference between pyromania and experimentation in childhood because both involve pleasure from the fire

Bloodlust[]

Bloodlust or bloodthirstiness refers to a desire to see blood being shed; it usually refers to a desire to see blood being shed in combat. It can also refer to a literal lust or desire for either the sight or drinking of blood, such as blood fetishism, or for drinking blood in vampire-like behavior.

Megalomania[]

Grandiose delusions (GD), delusions of grandeur, expansive delusions or megalomania are a sub-type of delusion that occur in patients suffering from a wide range of psychiatric diseases, including two-thirds of patients in manic state of bipolar disorder, half of those with schizophrenia, patients with the grandiose sub-type of delusional disorder, and a substantial portion of those with substance abuse disorders. GDs are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful. The delusions are generally fantastic and typically have a religious, science fictional, or supernatural theme. There is a relative lack of research into GD, in contrast to persecutory delusions and auditory hallucinations. About 10% of healthy people experience grandiose thoughts but do not meet full criteria for a diagnosis of GD.

Psychopathy[]

Psychopaths are people who exhibit a constellation of antisocial personality disorder traits which include antisocial, sadistic, narcissistic, and borderline behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships and extreme egocentricity. They also do not learn from failure and take it out on others. Psychopathy is sometimes used anonymously with sociopathy, is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by persistent impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, dis-inhibited, egotistical traits. Different conceptions of psychopathy have been used throughout history. These conceptions are only partly overlapping and may sometimes be contradictory.

Reincarnations[]

In some reincarnations, ExKrieg embodied giant beasts, monsters, mythological creatures and spirits with some being good or bad

Following the natural death of ExKrieg, the first humanoid alien warrior to rise and wide the power of the late God of Rage, the legendary hero reincarnated in countless forms of lives across the eons, with some speculating he had more than a million reincarnations while only a few were found and noticed by the Interuniversal Reality Council. It's believed at some point he also reincarnated in a parallel Earth.

In Prime Earth, before the reincarnation of ExKrieg as Katarina, it's believed he had been reincarnated there in the Previous Era nearly 500 million years prior to the birth of Katarina as a figure of Previous Era's Erian mythology who, in an ancient time of constant world war where humanity was still in its early stages and were just forming the first civilization, made a deal with the young Eranq Queen, granting her the power of the Magi-Tech via Nova energy. It is unknown what the Queen offered the Berith, but in return it granted her immense power, turning her into the first of all Magi-Tech Magicians. ZHEN later claimed to Sephiria that this myth was false, and that she believed Eranq had, in reality, discovered the source of all living matter. However, many sources of the Previous Era's cave paintings when humans were still cave men nearly 600 million years ago point that a giant canine creature called Berith terrorized the Earth and was worshiped and feared by all tribes from what is nowadays known as the African to Asian continent.

The people of the Previous Era on Prime Earth are called the "children of the Berith" because of this belief by the Current Era humanity. The world was convinced that the Berith was real, slain by the ancient Previous Era's Marleyan hero Helos during the Great Magik War that led to fast technological rise of humanity to a superpower race with now only ancient corrupted files wrote about its existence and cave painting from the Previous Era's tribes.

Westcott's forces fighting on the surface of Bandu

Katarina, also known as Kiana, was born during the control of fascist dark empire Deus.Ex.Machina Empire over the ExKrieg's race in Bandu planet countless eons ago. Over the years, Westcott discovered a humanoid warrior race called ExKriegs, they were red-haired warriors, extremely cruel, strong and unbeatable. When DEM entered in 5th Multi-Universe, Westcott annexed the ExKriegs into his DEM Army since they were the most stronger warrior race on that universe. Ike then wanted to attach them to his army of DEM because he thought that killing them would be a waste. Westcott sent his troops to fight the ExKriegs because they were a very persistent race and refused to surrender to a tyrant from another planet. The battle continued until one day, however, Westcott came in person and destroyed every city and capital of the planet with just one finger, and so the ExKriegs had to surrender in the face of Ike's power.

Isaac was never personally seen by any ExKrieg but he sent orders to them to invade certain planets next to their world, kill the entire population to prepare these planets to sales resources. One day, Westcott received a report of a ExKrieg who was calling attention of the generals; she was Mikaela Du Tirial, one of the strongest female warriors of her homeworld who conquered entire planets in just one week, and killing billion quickly and later being known as the Phoenix Queen. Westcott decided to call the warrior to his flagship and met her in person, making Mikaela the first ExKrieg to Westcott in person. By chances of fate, Mikaela fell in love with Westcott just as the latter formed deep bonds with her.

At-midnight

Both of them have several nights together and eventually started a romantic relationship that was kept hidden by both worlds of DEM and Bandu until rumours started to appear that Mikaela was involved with the Emperor and was accused of being a traitor to her own race for being romantically involved with a foreigner. Over the course of months, Mikaela began to feel dizzy and weak to the point she had to drop her title as general and leave the battlefields. Soon the DEM doctors discovered that she was pregnant of Westcott and immediately thought about an abortion, however, Mikaela refused abortion and kept the life inside of her live. Westcott, however, was not aware of her pregnancy, and if he knew he would have a daughter, he would create her to be like him and her mother; murderous and destructive. Months passed, and Mikaela was already 8 months pregnant, she also waited Westcott back to tell this news to him, however, one day Westcott heard a legend of the Legendary ExKrieg through the knowledge of Lapis Rhe'Kai, his ultimate master whom he swore his life to serve and since then has started to fear the ExKriegs and that one day the legendary warrior will reincarnate and fought back the occupation of DEM.

Westcott then sent an order to all ExKriegs spread across the galaxy of that reality to return to their home planet. Once all ExKriegs back to the homeworld, Westcott also went to their planet with his personal fleet. He also ended up forcing the ExKrieg King into giving him his daughter, Eva whom would be later known as Aryana Westcott, as part of their continued "cooperation", although ExKrieg King secretly intended to betray Isaac before he could ever let him have his daughter. Isaac then searched for a time where almost all of the ExKriegs would be on Bandu Planet, so that he could wipe all of them out at once. His attendant tells him that almost all of the ExKriegs would be on the Planet in one month's time, and so Isaac decides to blow it up then. On his arrival, the ExKrieg King and his men attempt an uprising both to end Ike's reign and to rescue the Princess, but it ended disastrously with the King and his soldiers being slaughtered by Ike as his minions watched.

As Ike arrived in the planet's orbit, he suspected that other ExKrieg would attempt to emulate King's approach and commit a full-scale uprising, a suspicion confirmed when he was confronted by a charging Mizagi, Mikaela's father, lunging through the fields of Ike's men and droids in defiance of the tyrant, and even goes as far as to fire a Final Spirit Cannon at him after giving a heart-felt speech declaring that the ExKrieg race is done working for Ike. The tyrant retaliated by laughing maniacally with glee as he prepared to annihilate the planet. The attack consumes Mizagi and some of his men as it buries itself deep beneath the planet's surface resulting in a massive explosion, eradicating all life forms in the planet, but fortunately Mikaela was the moon of the planet. Westcott then launched a giant black ball of Taken energy on the surface of the planet and destroying the planet in seconds issues.

53in

The end of Bandu

He could not hide the happiness and laughed insanely like a commemoration. Mikaela saw the destruction of her planet and also saw the one who destroyed the planet was Ike Westcott whom she noticed his presence. Mikaela then fled as soon as she saw the DEM troops invading the moon to make sure there was not anyone there. Westcott sent his troops across the ExKrieg Solar System to hunt all ExKriegs that were not on the planet during the ExKrieg Genocide. After the planet's explosion, a story was fabricated to ensure the loyalty of the few remaining ExKriegs Ike had kept in his employ as a convenience. According to the story, a large meteor struck Planet Bandu and destroyed it that very day. Another version of the story is that it was the benevolent guardian of Planet Bandu, ashamed at the immorality of the ExKriegs, who summoned meteors to impact and destroy the planet and the ExKrieg race. In addition to his actions of solidifying his power base, Ike also orchestrated the Great ExKrieg Purge, an extended campaign of trying to eliminating ExKriegs. Days later, after the genocide, Ike Westcott ordered five captured ExKriegs to be brought before him. Though exhausted after severe beatings and starvation, and surrounded by Red Guards and battle droids, the ExKriegs were not bound. Ike in fact handed each of them a saber, and told them that the survivor would win their freedom. Instead of turning on each other, four of the ExKriegs attacked him; he cut three of them down simultaneously, leaving only a female ExKrieg alive. The latter chose to turn against the former in order to save his own life, and, in awe of Ike's unparalleled mastery of the Taken's Nova, became the Emperor's servant.

In the first month after the genocide, Ellen, against Ike's orders, went to attack a Conclave of the ExKrieg Genocide survivors. Still recovering and rebuilding her skill set, Ellen only narrowly defeated the ExKriegs with the help of the Battle Droid Divisions. Nonetheless, despite Ike's disappointment in his secretary for letting her emotions get the better of her, the Emperor nonetheless viewed Ellen's actions as useful in the long run: he anonymously passed a rumor that Ellen tracked down and destroyed the conclave. In order to ensure his false rumor kept fear running in the Solar System, he also greatly exaggerated the event, claiming the conclave was composed of fifty ExKriegs and that Ellen had single-handedly killed them.

Mikaela's Parturition[]

Days later, Mikaela fled to a distant planet with her squad from the genocide after witnessing the destruction of her planet. Mikaela, then noticed the advertisements scattered throughout the galaxy that Ike Westcott had put a big reward for those who kill or capture an ExKrieg for the DEM Empire. Following Mikaela's orders, the capable soldiers of Mikaela are instructed to clear the civilization of planet Marte in order to prevent any person to report their localization to DEM Empire. However, her soldiers accidentally meet with one of Ike's strongest allies, Yuuki Terumi. When Mikaela is informed that her team was facing a powerful enemy, Mikaela hurriedly makes preparations to pursue her friends, unaware of the dangers that await at her destination. Eventually once upon the city that her squad had destroyed, Mikaela discovers her ravaged comrades and, to some fortune, finds that one of her friends is alive but in critical condition. Vowing to avenge the four, Mikaela removes the armband of her friend, now soaked in blood. Mikaela is suddenly assaulted by DEM soldier but she is able to dominate over the elite-class fighters until Yuuki Terumi launches a destructive attack, overpowering Mikaela (however, her weakness is explained by her pregnancy) blasting her into her friend's dead bodies and leaving her for dead. Mikaela barely survives this attack and hold her tears for her weakness.

Katarina Couteau newborn

Days later, Mikaela hid in a cave and began to feel something tearing in her womb. She realized that her daughter finally would be born. Mikaela had to endure the pain of childbirth alone without anyone to help, the pain became more intense due to her injuries with her battle against Yuuki. After hours of unimaginable pain, Mikaela finally managed to pull her daughter out. Mikaela put her daughter in white cloths as she smiled with joy. And so, Kiana Kronii and years later named as Katarina Couteau is born, and with her, the legend of the Legendary Warrior professed by ancient prophets billion years ago started.

Yuuki later returns to Ike's ship and report to Ike that he killed an ExKrieg know as Mikaela Du Tirial and her squad in Marte Planet few days ago. However, Isaac used his Taken Aura to find Mikaela in a planet distant from there and he felt the she was alive. Ellen warns that due to Yuuki's pride, he did not killed Mikaela, because naturally she is an ExKrieg and she would not die with just one attack. Ellen warns him of his recklessness and Yuuki's negligence angers Ike. Yuuki said he would travel back to Marte Planet and he would ensure that he was going to kill her this time. However, Ike reassures him that it will not be necessary and decided to got after Mikaela by himself.

Isaac and his fleet arrives in Marte, however, the military defense of the planet attacks the DEM's fleet, resulting in a huge space battle, however, the DEM managed to defeat the enemy. Believing that the governments of the planet are too weak and foolish, Ike decides he needs to take charge of the planet and put the planet in his Galactic Slave Map in order to sell the planet for the highest bidders. The planet became a battlefield, resulting in the death of billions. As the DEM troops face the military defenses of the planet, Ike use his Taken Aura to find Mikaela on the planet. After he found her, he quickly flew to her localization.

Tower of El citadel

Later, Isaac arrived at Tower of El Citadel, looking for Mikaela. After many minutes looking for her, he located Mikaela in the last floor of the tower. When Isaac found Mikaela face-to-face, he noticed a newly born red-haired baby and a huge portal behind her, Westcott asked who was that child, she answered his question saying that child was his daughter. Westcott ignored her and activated his black sword as Mikaela made her way to the middle of the room, Isaac said he was looking forward to see her and that he would show mercy if Mikaela killed their daughter and joined Ike's side again. Mikaela told him that there were no ExKrieg left and said the "Ike" she met could never kill his own family. Isaac told her he had destroyed her homeworld and laughed about the matter, explaining what he felt when he saw billion of lives being destroyed in one second, which Mikaela vowed to avenge. Isaac remarked it was not the ExKrieg way to avenge a dead partner, but as Mikaela revealed that she had no partner to avenge and was doing that for her own sake, she engaged the Taken Lord in battle. Not long after the beginning of the duel, Mikaela's strength began to fade as Isaac was blowing powerful strikes at her. He then proceeded to use his telekinesis to push her off the tower and made his way back to the top of the tower to kill the baby. Mikaela, however, survived the fall and made her way back to the top. There, she ran towards Isaac, who was raising his sword to slay the undefended baby, and she was able to knock Isaac down, kicking his face and breaking his nose. Mikaela reacted horrified to see that Ike's true face was a black gunk full of worms and eyes, and said to Isaac that this is the result of the Abyss power, as she saw part of Ike's true face. She decided not to flee as she did mounths ago when she saw her planet being destroyed by Isaac, to which Isaac responded that she would die instead.

The two engaged in combat once again for the last time, with the tower locking down and exploding into a burst of energy caused by the portal, Mikaela used her telekinesis to push Kiana to the portal, Kiana then began to cry as she watched her parents disappearing into the darkness of the portal, sending her to a planet where Ike would never find it but not even Mikaela did not know to what planet she would be sent. Ike then angrily yelled at Mikaela as she smiled. Isaac then pierced Mikaela's heart with his sword, giving a fatal blow in his lover. Mikaela then fell into the arms of Westcott and said she still loved him after all and slowly closed her eyes and died in the arms of her beloved. Ike used his dark aura to blow up Mikaela's body into pieces and screamed in hatred for leaving the last ExKrieg of existence escape, and worse, the last ExKrieg was actually his daughter. The portal became a black hole and created a supernova, destroying the planet with all population and DEM troops. However, Ike survived the explosion and flew to his ship in space. Once in his ship, Ike ordered the captain to leave from the system, and so the rest of Ike's fleet and jump to lightspeed and disappeared into the darkness of space.

At that time, the legend had begun. Years later, Isaac would regret for not killing that baby.

Lapis arrives

Possible a consequence of fate itself, Kiana survived the inter-dimensional trip and landed in a dead world in a complete different galaxy of the same universe. Despite the efforts of DEM to quickly expand across that universe, it would take trillion years to fully conquer it. The newborn Katarina survived the fall and managed to stay alive for nearly 24-hours despite not being able to breath as part of her ExKrieg biology until she was found by a native creature of the planet who tried to devour her. However, the baby was accidentally found by a deity entity who blasted the creature away. It turns out that planet was under the control of an ancient goddess of another omniverse called Nezperdian Omniverse and used that galaxy as her secret HQ to expand her influence, culture, religion and power. The Goddess who went by the name of Lapis Rhe'Kai then tried to kill the baby who she just found but quickly noticed the mixed energy of her ExKrieg mother and Taken father that shocked her to the core. If her intel was true, that baby was the first of their kind and an unique form of life that was born after the conjunction of complete polar opposite species. Planning to use it in her own experiments, the Goddess who revealed to be the creator of all Taken decided to take care of the child.

Kiana grew up alongside and her six sisters who were also prodige children coming from all worlds conquered by Lapis and raised as assassins to do what no other warriors could do: kill the Reality Council with the power of the Abyss and weaken Spectra to allow a full out-invasion. Lapis named them the Children of the Abyss and raised them with the most brutal training methods throughout their childhoods and youth, in order to sculpt them into the ultimate killers. During her training as a child, Katarina found a hole in the wall to gaze upon the outside world. Lapis told her that the world was a her own creation and that it was threatened so long as Spectra lived to oppose Lapis' rule. She was then thrown back into training and received punishment by being beaten by her other sisters. After completing her 6-years old birthday, Katarina was released in a wild planet alongside her sisters in a survival task to test their survivalist skills. Kiana survived the ordeal for at least a month but after encountering one of her sisters, she saw her being kidnapped by pirates and saved her from being sold into slavery by bandits.

On a visit to a nearby tribe's village, she and her other sisters discovered both the pirates murdered at least two of their sisters. Kiana, wanting to rescue the missing sister as soon as possible, managed to track the pirates' trail to a small cabin in the forest. Opening the door to the room where her sister was being held captive, she found her laying on the floor with two of the pirates keeping watch. Feigning distress and saying that she was lost, Kiana got them to drop their guard. As one of them closed in to pat her head, Kiana slit his throat with a knife he had hidden behind his back and quickly ducked back out of the room. As the second man went after her with an axe, Kiana charged at him with a makeshift spear, piercing him in the shoulder. Once he was down, Kiana proceeded to stab him to death in a wild frenzy while her sister known as Alisa looked on in horror. As Kiana untied her in the aftermath, she was caught off-guard by the third pirate, who proceeded to strangle him. Alisa picked up the knife Kiana used but balked at the thought of using it to kill someone. Kiana urged her to fight back, warning her that they would both be killed if she did nothing. As Kiana began to lose consciousness, Alisa finally lost all inhibition and lunged at their attacker, stabbing him through the heart and killing him instantly.

ShadowsHouse-Episode3-34

Kiana being devoured by her Taken Nova power for a fraction of seconds

When her other sisters eventually found them, they took Kiana aside scolded her angrily for her reckless behavior. While Kiana was genuinely sorry for upsetting her sisters, she expressed no remorse whatsoever for killing the pirates. When Alisa remarked that she was cold, Kiana gave her the scarf from her own neck. At that time, Lapis' servant opened a portal and congratulated her children for surviving the test while expressing dismay for the children murdered. Following that test, Lapis granted the children to become full Taken and live in her society as "normal people". Now living as a Watcher in Nezperdian Omniverse where she learned even in Lapis' Omniverse there was wars and conflicts, her early childhood was marked with violence: when he was six years old, the The Second Wave War waged and she witnessed first-hand many of the war's casualties. The death and destruction he experienced at such a young age traumatised Kiana and almost awakened her newborn memories of almost being killed by a man with silver hair. At age 7, Kiana was approached by Alisa, who offered to train together. Soon, the two became best friends, forming a sister-like bond as they continued to teach the other new tricks.

Impeding Doom[]

During the Impact Crisis where a Minus Taken beast attacked the capital of the Taken Empire, she was home alone looking after Alisa's baby brother, followed by Kiana rescuing low-Takens from falling debris. The Impact Crisis attack had soured relations between the leader political party of the Taken Empire called HIVE's leadership and the clan of The Fallen I called Seas of the Abyss, the former believing the latter to be responsible as they believed the radical clan of the Fallen I was seeking another invasion to Lynenta Omniverse. The Seas were relocated to the edge of the planet, isolating them from the rest of the world and making it easier to monitor them. At age 7, Kiana enrolled into the Academy, where she consistently scored the highest in each subject and quickly learned any skill taught to her, resulting in her being praised as the best of her generation. After four months, her teachers unanimously agreed let her take the graduation exam early due to Kiana being more than advanced enough for newbie-level, which she passed later that month. During this time, she began seriously studying the history of the Taken world, gaining a great appreciation for it. On the day she graduated as the youngest post-war graduate, she was approached by the Taken Yin'Si, who assessed Kiana's thinking.

The Taken leaders meet with Kiana

Joining Team 2 of the Taken Empire's Vanguard, Kiana went on to honing her skills to cosmic level, leading to her drawing the attention of Taken leaders. Meeting the criteria, Lapis allowed her to sit in on clan meetings in the Abyss Shrine. Nearly a year since graduating, Kiana had mastered almost every medium-class Taken skills to the extent her missions went too easy, though Yin'Si didn't recommend her for the Vanguard Exams. After turning eight, as Team 2's guard had distinguished themselves the most during the universal year, they were tasked with guarding a Taken Aristocrat during her annual trip to the Abyss Province. During the mission, the convoy was attacked by a DEM Empire's agent who was sabotaging the matter of the Taken world as Ike Westcott was deemed to be too radical and selfish to serve their purposes, therefore a silent civil war had begun between the pure-blooded Takens and the Takens serving under Ike Westcott from DEM Empire, who killed Alisa before Kiana, resulting in her awakening her Void Eye, which she mastered at the same age. At age 10, the House of the Abyss officials allowed Kiana to compete in the dangerous and deadly Medium Exams by herself, which she passed and became an Herald Taken.

At the same age, she was adopted by a Taken family under the House of Hander'Sin, the House was considered to be a corporate family that sold powerful Sunstones that absorbed Dark Matter energy and was influential enough to change the fate of a world. She was the second daughter of the house with her first sister being a child known as Lico'Roc.

Kiana's new Taken parents

At age 11, she entered the Imperial Black Guard. Kiana's accomplishments were a source of great pride for her foster family who decided to adopt her out of Lapis' request even though she was not a pure-blooded Taken, her father viewing her as proof of the Taken's future prosperity and her sister viewing her as a model to live up to. Kiana spent a great deal of time with Lico, training with her (though rarely actually training her) and giving her the recognition their father did not. However, for all the attention she received, few truly understood Kiana, believing her isolation to be a result of the gap between her abilities and theirs and not her dissatisfaction with the Taken's life of conflict. Eventually, the Hander'Sin Family and Seas of the Abyss disdain for their unfair treatment led them to secretly join forces with the Deus.Ex.Machina Empire and plan a coup d'état. No'Uma, head of the Hander'Sin family and the coup's chief conspirator, encouraged Kiana's advancement into the Black Guard's ranks as a means of spying on the Supreme House. Kiana, however, knew an Hander'Sin and Abyss' coup would lead to intervention from other houses and Taken governments and ultimately start another Omniversal War, something she could not support. She instead became a double agent, reporting the Hander'Sin's actions to Lapis and the Supreme House Council in the hopes it would help them find a peaceful resolution.

Unware of the situation, Kiana was actually being watched by Lapis, the one who instigated it all to know to where her decisions would lead her to.

Seas of the Abyss' meeting

Kiana shared the burden of betraying her clan but eventually gained support of one of her sisters who survived the Ordeal of Lapis known as Mu'Ji. But as time went on it became increasingly clear that peace could not be achieved. Mu'Ji intended to use her Illusions on the Seas' leaders to compel them to negotiate, but her right eye was stolen by agents of the Seas of the Abyss before she had a chance. Her own options exhausted, Mu'Ji entrusted her remaining eye to Kiana and begged her to protect the Taken world and their family name before throwing herself into the Void Space where she vanished from existence. Kiana was anguished by Mu'Ji death, enough to awaken his ExKrieg's Spirit. When the following day some Seas, already suspicious of Kiana, accused her of murdering Mu'Ji and staging a suicide, Kiana lost her composure and attacked them, defeating them easily. A rift was created between Kiana and her family, and her warnings to them to reconsider what they were doing fell on deaf ears.

At age 12, she was promoted to Black Guard Captain, with her publicly disclosed promotion age being 13 due to Yin'Si request and the Supreme House acceptance. Although the Supreme House still wished to negotiate with the Seas and Handers,Yin recognised that there was no longer an outcome that could see the Seas and Handers clan's survival. He explained this to Kiana and left her a choice: support the Seas' coup and have the whole clan, including Lico, killed in the ensuing conflict, or accept the assignment to wipe out the clan before the coup started and be allowed to spare Lico. Kiana obviously chose her sister Lico and came before Lapis to awaken her inner abilities, something Lapis greatly did by pure curiosity of seeing what she is gonna do next. Despite having made her choice, Kiana was tormented by guilt, especially with the knowledge that Mu'Ji would most likely not forgive her choice to destroy the clan. However, remembering the words of Lapis to not let other's decide things for her life, she resolved to continue her path. While making final preparations, Kiana came before Lapis to ask for advice, something that Lapis greatly adviced of being of "help" instead of guiding her. In return of fully embracing her Takenism, Lapis vowed that she would assist on the genocide of her own clan for mere joy since things in her world were just too slow compared to the times of the Fallen I.

Lapis killing her own worshipers

Despite being able to erradicate every Taken in her own Omniverse, Lapis decided to only exterminate the Taken living in the Void World where she deemed the Taken living there as greedy corporate with no interest for her cause. In one night Lapis and Kiana slaughtered the entire Abyss of the Seas and Handers clan, Lapis personally descended and decided to play a little by personally killing her own children to exercise her abilities for a bit while Kiana slaughtered her own friends and comrades. Kiana took it upon himself to personally execute her foster parents. Despite her betrayal, they bore her no ill-will, instead telling her in the moments before they were killed that they were proud of her and requesting that she take care of Lico'Roc. Racked by grief for her actions, Kiana tried to take her own life but Lapis stopped her from doing so as it was her choice and killing herself would let all those deaths be in vain. However, what she did not expect was that Lico'Roc witnessed everything and tried to kill Kiana right in front of Lapis, however, Kiana quickly pushed her away and had to form a lie right there in order to set Lico on the road she cast herself as the villain, Kiana cut Lico's hand off, making the child cry in agony to the point Kiana herself almost had a stroke but Lapis stopped her from doing so as all those incidents one after another was too much for her.

Lico fled, fearing her own death, but Kiana chased her down to divulge the lie she had concocted: he killed their family to test her mettle and that the Taken world was too corrupted to the core to serve the purposes of the Goddess Lapis. She encouraged Lico to become strong enough to kill her and take revenge leif that meant she could absorb her Nova energy in the future. Lico then tried awakened her powers at that very moment, surprising both Lapis and Kiana and attempted to kill her but failed and she passed out, but not before seeing Kiana cry with remorse and officially left the Taken World and Nezperdian Omniverse now that she officially betrayed her own kind. What Kiana did not expect is that Ike Westcott was already on move and came before Lico to adopt and train her to get her revenge as part of his DEM Taken faction, becoming the woman known as Eve Westcott, also known as Eve Fullbuster.

Kroniis Taken[]

Soon after her betrayal, Kiana said farewell to Lapis and stated she would be on her own to find her purpose in life, setting herself free from Lapis' control and finally becoming a full Taken while Lapis laughed and said she would be watching her progress from afar until time binds them together again. For her first act, Kiana left Nezperdian Omniverse and traveled to Lynenta Omniverse in a trip that cost nearly 60,000 years of her life. Arriving in an unknown universe and unknown galaxy, she planned to cultivate her own Taken Tree using her own blood on the planet similar to Earth and harvest its Nova Fruit so she could rise as the equivalent to the Fallen I. Her plans remained unknown but it was theorized Kiana wanted to have control over the Afterlife Horizon and control all aspects of life and death for a greater purpose of creating an utopia where no ones has to suffer like she did.

Kiana's arrival in the first planet to be conquered by her

Kiana's arrival in her first planet to open ways to a world free from death and suffering was all about chaos and destruction. Trained to be ruthless and merciless, Kiana unleashed death over the planet by assuming a colossal monstrous beast and slaughtered the natives of a planet using a genocidal method of plaguing that world with a alien virus and used their corpses to test her experiments, however, all souls she killed in a matter of only 3 days were long gone and beyond the gates of Afterlife which made her extremely furious and agonized as she killed all those people, including million of children and even unborn individuals, in vain, something that she would carry for her entire life until their deaths began meaningless and she learned that there is life after death, something that encouraged her to kill even more later on.

Kiana tried a different plan and decided to live among natives by altering memories of the natives. She chose another primitive world with a humanoid species growing in intellect and technology and became one with their society. However, she was feared for not showing any emotion. Animals avoided her, and her voice seemed to carry power and weight beyond her years. Around the 6th year, Kiana began to manifest signs of anger and distress as their society was too slow and disgusting for their lack of empathy for animals and children, bad habits of hygine, their judicial system was repulsive as rape and murder was legal and innocent beings were killed just to relieve the anger of a psychopath. The false stepfather of Kiana confronted his wife in front of Kiana who was already tired of their society and he proceeded to attack her in anger after she admitted to having had an affair with a Lord of their civilization. However, Kiana fed off the man's anger to fuel her own strength in the Void, and she used her powers to telekinetically break the farmer's neck. Kiana then tortured his false mother for months before killing her for betraying their family, and began to subjugate the other members of her village with her powers. Over the course of the next four years, Kiana's influence and reputation grew as he conquered neighboring villages and raised legions of followers. Some followed the woman out of fear of her immense power, while others served out of fanatical loyalty.

The Land of Hwat where Kiana once lived

Kiana massacred thousands during her rise to power, and tortured people for days in public executions as she fed off their suffering once she discovered her Taken blood absorbed negative emotions of those around her. The Lord of the North Tribes heard rumors of her activities, but because they occurred on the remote northern continent—and also due to the fact that he had forgotten about his affair with Kiana's false mother—the greedy and hedonist Lord believed that the events were of no concern to him. When Kiana completed her 10th year in that world, the Lord decided to investigate the rumors of the girl's activities and determine whether she should be killed or become one of his servants. However, the Lord underestimated Kiana's abilities; after revealing his true parentage as he thought he was her father, Kiana stripped Lord of his power and drove the man insane before killing him. Kiana then embarked on a campaign to conquer the rest of the planet while her false elder half-brother, fled the planet to hide from his half-sister. It took Kiana three years to subjugate the world using mortal methods, and any of Lord's subordinate who attempted to seize the throne fell quickly before Kiana's power.

Lapis amused after hearing Kiana's plans but disappointed she was not working for her cause

After her conquest was complete, Kiana traveled to Lapis' throneworld and came before Lapis and asked what happened to the Taken World, Lapis answered that the Taken World was now under the ruler of a new clan and nothing has changed since then as the vacuum of power was already filled by other opportunist clans. In turn of committing her first genocide and assisting Lapis in spreading the Taken's Nova, she granted Kiana the honor of being her daughter and Herald of Nezperdian, something Kiana refused as she was not working for her cause and was only interested in saving mortal life from the imperfect world created by Gods like herself. Acknowledging her power, Lapis granted Kiana the right to rule the unnamed world she conquered as her own and elevated her to the rank of Harbinger of the Nezperdian and granting her even more power as she saw the image of the Fallen I in Kiana and planned to make her her new Legendary Hero, bestowing the title of the Berith upon her.

Returning to her world, which she renamed Nathema, Kiana proceeded to build a palace upon the site of her childhood home and ruled the planet for one hundred years, spending much of that time studying the secrets of the Taken, performing rituals of Black and Red Magic, forming a fanatical cult of followers and sacrificial lambs. Early in her reign, many young Taken flocked to Kiana, and she taught her new followers to restrain their emotions and draw on their inner anger in order to increase their power.

She then decided to travel to another planet and set her eyes on a planet called Earth colonized by humans almost looking like her, it's unknown which Earth was this but it was speculated this Earth was in its final stages of life. Kiana quickloy realized that humans were terraforming and colonizing Mars, due to the ever-growing environmental catastrophes, burgeoning overpopulation of earth and drive of political unification by the entire planet. Instead of straight killing them, Kiana disguised herself as high-ranking politicians and businessmen to set control over humanity's history. After several centuries, most of the companies are operating land on Mars, which allowed the Earth to recover. Mars and Earth began a slow and gradual drift that would culminate in Mars asserting its independence from Earth, just as Kiana planned as she feed separatist movements in Mars. Earth governments began to thwart the independence of Mars for genetic and policy reasons. The earth, very dependent on the resources of Mars, refused to allow Martian independence; in retaliation Mars boycotts Earth of all but the most vital resources. The civil war that results leads to the death of 8 billion people.

Chaos on Earth

Survivors sought to avoid repeating the catastrophic event that threatened their entire existence, seeking to create a new human subspecies of the two genetically different worlds to better handle the rigors of space and colonization. Despite moral and biological taboos, memories of the war still echoed in the minds of those who remained and followed Kiana's leadership. In one generation, the new subspecies achieves the results that are hoped for, and over time begin to extend its dominance of the solar system and then among the stars, earning them the name "the Kronii People". They tried several options to achieve interstellar colonization, one of the most feasible being to send ships full of the genetic material of humanity to a planet, which would be brought to life by semi-sentient machines. Half of the new humans created had an affection for the machines and a disdain for those of their own species, which caused their downfall, however others survived and prospered.

  • "I saw the Earth formed out of nothing. I brought the serpent of temptation into man's garden. I've even been known on occasion to turn entire oceans to sand in a single breath. I think it's safe to say that I have the experience to know how this will turn out."
  • "And then the Prince set amongst the stars a Throne that rippled and shone like finest satin, and there She reclined to give Her commandments. "Raise buildings and sing songs to My glory. In My name, pursue your arts and enshrine all beauty. Let all people follow their every desire, sate their every hunger, and deny themselves no adventure. For it is in these things and in each other that you will find the greatest pleasure, and it is through these things and through each other that you will raise yourselves high, even onto the steps of My Throne." Then a cloud passed over the face of the sun, and the Prince spoke again, Her voice both syrup and poison: "You will take Pleasure in all that is, though your bodies will break and your souls be forfeit. You will do this and do this gladly. For I am Kronii, most visionary of gods, most demanding of lovers, and My Thirst for you shall never be sated."

Quotes about Kiana/Katarina[]

  • "She is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her. Her followers hope only to be on her side when the day of her rebellion against the divine comes at last. In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most are content to live, and not to dream. But in the hidden corners where the gods' gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming." - Ara Astaroth

Trivia[]

Re-Used and Altered (original Katarina)[]

  • While she is an Anti-Heroine, the most common sense is that she is actually a villain trying to be a good person. What puts her under the category of an Anti-Hero is the fact that she is the main heroine and was raised in the friendly companion of La Folia. If she was a major or secondary character, she would be probably considered an Anti-Villain. Or, for that case, a villain with On & Off Heroic side. The fact that she do her good deeds out of being praised and loved only makes her image even worse as she is not doing it from goodness but for selfish reasons, meaning that she is not a hero by any means but at the same time not a villain as she is doing those good deeds to prevent her inhuman side from taking over her. No matter what, Katarina still a complex character.
  • Katarina is one of the most controversial characters of CIS Productions as a whole thanks to her depressive personality that made into a hypocritical heroine who tried to be a heroine to be accepted by the people as she knew no one would love her if she decided to be herself, who is in fact a sadistic psychopath. While being adored and loved by everyone, she thought she could finally had an excuse to inflict as much pain as possible in her enemies while saying she was merely doing her good deeds when in fact she was just doing it for sports. In a sense, she is not different from Ara Astaroth who tries to hide her aggressive, xenophobic, rude, sarcastic and rather childish side behind a mask of a composed and wise woman with soft-tone of words. However, unlike Ara, Katarina came to believe the image of herself being a heroine was her true-self, causing her to get a personality disorder between her true-self, Katarina and Kronii who lives inside of her mind. In truth, the image of herself being a heroine was another excuse (one not even she couldn't notice) to have a reason to kill people. As a heroine, she always thought it was only natural for her doing those things but enjoying them, like a person building a social circle and feeling joy of forming new friendships in the process.
  • In the old script, Katarina had a more easy-going personality that was suppose to be very based in Goku from Dragon Ball until in 2018 the authors turned it into a false personification of Katarina, with her true one being a more depressive, dark and messed up one that can only be compared to more disturbing and controversial characters like Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion and Guts from Berserker.
  • Katarina was the second characters to be created by CIS Productions in 2015 in its early stages of creation, with the first being Ragnarok Iblis.
  • Katarina is often called as "Kat" by Valaine Le Deux for her love for her cats.
  • If she were to compare herself to an animal, Katarina would have considered herself to be a wolf which ironically represents the wild spirit of her soul and abilities in general as she is represented as Black Wolf.
  • Katarina, actually, speaks in German due to Westcott's German language but she is also fluent in English and Japanese for being rised in a Japanese society. She doesn't seem to be aware of this until she met Eckidina KnightWalker in person.
  • Katarina is inspired by a part of Sirin of the Void's depressive side during his teenager years when he locked himself from the world with headphones for being filled with people who never approached him no matter what he did to get involved with social circle. Her depressive side is an inspiration from it since her old concept in 2016.
    • She was also composed of DestroyerSubjugator90's false image of herself, which is actually new as it came in May, 2018. In his teenagers years, Subjugator tried his best to keep a facade of being a charismatic, funny and energetic person when he entered in college to be able to form friendships and prevent himself from being isolated from the class. However, when he was transferred to another college, he gave on this facade and returned to be his true-self for losing all the friendships and crush he formed back then.
  • Katarina in Bloody Moon Tyrant and as her original Kronii form is considered to be a Horsemen of Frashokereti.
  • Katarina, in the original version, was supposed to be more "wild" and idiotic, being more like a full version of Son Goku from Dragon Ball combined with Luffy from One Piece and Natsu from Fairy Tail, but as the New Concept came and turned the story more realistic, darker and detailed, this old concept was discarded and Katarina herself became part of this dark world by having more personality, more internal conflicts, full of flaws and having several real experiences from all authors. Actually, Katarina was suppose to be a character based in Shounen protagonists but with several flaws and without the power of protagonism where the heroes take their forces out of nowhere while Katarina can only use the force she has at the moment.
  • Katarina thought Maria Arzonia's true language was Portuguese while others thought she was Italian. Luckily, she never had the chance to say it.
  • Katarina appears to suffer from severe hay-fever that causes her to sneeze uncontrollably if pollen in her near vicinity is disturbed.
  • Her old concept traces were mostly discarded, some that were even still used to build her 2020!Reboot such as her tendency to eat everything she finds to be delicious, eat a lot, is the same naive and stupid character when she is doing things she don't know, always criticizing the villains' plan in a rather comical way, a bad cooker, always insulting others without intentions and her all-brawn personality. In her 2021 rework, she doesn't eat much, hates sugar and sweet things, is most of the time cautious and serious, tends to criticize the plan of a villain by pointing flaws, has a degree of being a chef and seems to be aware of what may insult people but this side of her is not 100% accurate.
  • In the old concept, Katarina was actually a fragment born from Elesis' persona. Or so, it can be said she is a clone of Elesis but without her straight psychopathy. Instead, Katarina suffers from this psychopathy while Elesis is a psychopath and embrace it. In the new concept, Elesis don't exist anymore and was replaced as Kronii, the true original persona of Katarina before losing her memories, which doesn't change much of the original twin-concept but the background was brutally altered.
  • Katarina suffers from psychopathy thanks to her father, Ike Ray Peram Westcott, who was actually even worse. Katarina fights this bad side of her with her own heroine façade but allows it to take over when making her enemies suffer so she doesn't need to hurt innocent people... but she does not hurt innocent or civilians because she sees them as harmless or people in the need to be protected, but because her comrades would react to it with repulsion and revolt.
  • Following her freedom of her heroine façade, her eyes become more empty than before, meaning Katarina had finally become a single entity as psychopathic sadist while Kiana fell asleep in her body. However, now that she was a truly single person, she could control her emotions and no longer needed to hide her true-self from others.
  • In her true-self, Katarina also loses all her fears, including her fear from Michael Langdon after his betrayal in Sleepy Hollow. Others of her fear are death itself, something she no longer cares about. When facing Michael and Vira again, Katarina could only pity them for being fool enough to face her again.
  • While she is often compared to Carl Robinson, Katarina is not a jerk or an anti-heroine but a villain trying to be a hero by all means. Following her true-self, which exposed her true personality, turned her more insane and rather respectful in a sarcastic way. So in a common sense of view, Katarina was not a lighter version of Carl but a different type of character stepping in the same line. Moreover, much of her psychology is considered more complex while Carl's thoughts and ideology were straight and righteous. Katarina's false image of being a heroine was more selfish and hypocritical, and had no real interest in saving mankind, only the people close to her. This all changes when she becomes her true-self, which adds her with more pessimist points of mankind much like Carl and several others villains but always states she doesn't care as long it does not reach her area of interest. In her true-self, Katarina had a vision of Carl similar to Imperia, actually, making the two similar in all ways, much to Carl's dismay. However, unlike Imperia who was rude, Katarina acted like a sophisticated and well-mannered psychopath rather than a mischevious one. Which, of course, was more relaxing to Carl as she could not support Imperia's mistreats.

Original 2021 Rework[]

  • The name "Kronii" appears to derive from the ancient Greek "chrono," meaning "time."
  • Despite growing in a Japanese society and being adopted by a Japanese couple, she was given a Western European name in accordance to her Western looking as the Couteaus deemed giving her a Japanese name would push her original roots away from her and if not, disrespectful.
  • Katarina was easily one of the most altered OC of CIS Productions during the period of 2020 to 2021 alongside Sephiria KnightWalker, if not the most. Her appearance was changed more than anyone else but her personality from the 2020-period were mostly kept as it was perfect enough for a depressive character with serious mental issues as a result of her traumatic childhood.
  • One of the few things Kiana and Katarina have in common are the fact the two are asexual and feel no attraction to any gender. This is also one of the most radical things that changed in the rework as Rentaro Satomi remained as her main love interest for nearly 6 years since the creation of the story and later in the future she married with a man and had a daughter with him that would soon become one of the main protagonists of LOTM: Destiny. This concept was later changed and her future daughter never existed while Rentaro's feelings continued for her remained unchanged.
  • Unlike her previous character, the story already start with her being an adult while the original story started with her having only 16-years old.
  • Practically, Katarina is the only hero of a CIS story to be the main protagonist and later revealed to be the de-facto main antagonist of the long-running story, replacing her father Ike Westcott as the secondary overall main antagonist while she takes his title as the most influential antagonist due to her being the creator of the Prime Multi-Universe, the main setting of the entire CIS Productions' story inside of Lynenta Omniverse.
9_minutes_of_Pekora_laughing

9 minutes of Pekora laughing

  • Katarina has a difficult to laugh as she tries to cover her mouth with her hands to hold her own laughter that results in her laugh coming as "AH↓HA↑HA↑HA↑HA↑." This laughter was inspired by the Japanese Vtuber Usada Pekora whom become widely popular in Internet due to her unique laugh.
  • Katarina is good at cooking meat and has knowledge how to make a variety of dishes using bovine meat but on the other hand she has proven to be a monster in testing her own dishes. In some occasions she commits unholy atrocities ranging from boiling beef in a mixture of Mentos and cola, melting marshmallows over sliced ham or, worse yet, cooking and eating tarantulas and scorpions on fish and ramen. This is widely played for laughs, if not disgusting.
  • She has German-English mixed ancestry being 1/4 British.
  • Her favorite English musician is Alan Walker.
  • Katarina is not fond of politics but due to her radical childhood, Katarina believes in a form of radical government that centralizes all its power to control every aspect of human life to control human nature as she believes humans are wild and primitive by nature and therefore they need control and guides to keep their inner true selves in check and under this belief she thought if Japan had a stricter control over Public Orphanages, they could have easily saved her life from the abuses of other children and even caretakers as the government in Japan tend to ignore such cases that happen in mass to keep a facade of being a "perfect country". This could fall under a similar modern government of China where the party control all aspect of life in China but not as much as radical as in closed countries like North Korea, Eritrea, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
  • Katarina's aspect of death is Darkness to Sephiria's Silence, Kroniesa KnightWalker's Despair, Oryx's Loneliness and Ara Astaroth's Emptiness.
  • Katarina's favorite color is red in respect to her own hair. Despite it being the reason why she suffered so much, Katarina still kept her hair instead of simply painting it with another color as she thought the hair of her true mother was red as well. And in a sense, she had, as an ExKrieg. To prevent a possible breakdown, the Couteaus lied to her about her true mother they never met by saying she died of a disease and gave her to the Couteaus.
  • Katarina's birthday in Earth Calender is completely unknown but for reference, Iruka Couteau gave her the birth date of 10th September. The data marks the day of the International World Suicide Prevention day which unfortunately matches perfectly with her depressive and suicidal personality.
  • Katarina has a love for Western comics and Eastern mangas, mainly ones from Japan as they offer a world of isolation and fantasy that is completely different from the harsh and cold real life. Much like her, this is a real life problem where young people find happiness in fictional worlds to escape from the boring, lifeless and simply negative reality that has nothing but work to live while living under the pressure of society and family.
  • Unlike her previous character, the new Katarina is quite careful with her own appearance as she believes that looks in an Asian society may give her an advantage. Despite being a tomboy herself, the new Katarina!Kiana is very, very sophisticated, clean and vain about her own body which is marked by fair skin and a perfect feminine structure that is considered to be the ideal female beauty in Asia. And no surprisingly, this is entirely true to real life women living in Japan, China but mainly in Korea. For women in such countries, their looks could give them an easier life by marrying a man of high-class and live a life of luxury without having to experience the same difficulties of most people. In Katarina's case, it serves to give her an advantage inside of Raizen Academy and Tenguu City to be accepted by her classmates and mentors even though said people are incredibly racists against foreigners.
  • Katarina has an abnormal sharp canine teeth even as a normal human. This one of the many reasons why she is called a demon by some classmates aside from having natural red eyes.

Kousei Arima (有馬 公生 Arima Kōsei) is the main protagonist of the Your Lie in April series. He is the son of Takahiko Arima and Saki Arima and a student attending Sumiya Junior High School who was the youngest winner of the Maihou Piano Competition.

As a child, Kousei was a calm and obedient boy. When he is not hanging out with Ryota Watari, Tsubaki Sawabe and Kaori Miyazono, he spends most of his day alone in his thoughts. This dense characteristic makes him oblivious to what is going on around him. For instance, he does not notice the rivalry and resentment his fellow piano competitors had for him nor Tsubaki's crush on him. As well as not noticing the jealousy that Tsubaki was feeling about being separated from him, as she has always cared about him and been with him. He also stares at Kaori for long, thinking how great of a person she is, which she misinterprets as him having perverted thoughts of her.

Despite his pessimism, Kousei is a very kind person, and isn't by any means unapproachable. His genuinely kind-hearted nature is seen in his interactions with others, and he treasures his friends.

Kousei admires Kaori because she is his opposite; he wishes to become more free-spirited like her. The closer Kousei and Kaori get, the more his feelings for her deepen and the more he opens up to other people. She helps him build his confidence and successfully convinces him to perform again. This allows Kousei to learn and grow into a more confident and less depressed person.

Alucard[]

-font-b-Hellsing-b-font-font-b-Alucard-b-font-Vampire-Anime-poster-17-x

Alucard is one of the main protagonists in the Hellsing series created by Kouta Hirano. He is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other such supernatural forces. Alucard is no mere vampire; it has been implied that he is the most powerful vampire alive and may be the most powerful character in the series, rivaled only by The Captain and Alexander Anderson. In the English dub of both series, he is voiced by Crispin Freeman.

Alucard fights with ferocity, and often, extreme cruelty, rarely shooting to kill until his target has been completely disabled and humiliated. However, he does seem to have some small shred of humanity left in him, as he is still capable of shedding tears, taken by Alexander Anderson to mean that he is not completely lost. As he is essentially immortal and invulnerable, Alucard is very egotistical. He freely taunts and belittles his opponents, often allowing them to inflict seemingly fatal wounds before healing himself and counterattacking.

One of his favorite methods of fighting is to allow himself to be blown to shreds before simply flowing back together. An example is shown in volume 2 when Alucard fights Luke Valentine. When Luke gains an advantage over Alucard, victory seems within his grasp. The tides turn when Alucard transforms a part of himself into a hellhound. Alucard then shoots off a part of Luke's leg before telling him to regenerate them, pick up his gun, and fight back. When Luke fails to do so, Alucard devours Luke, declaring him as little more than dog food.

However, even with his incredible powers, it is possible to take Alucard by surprise, usually because of his arrogance. In his first meeting with Alexander Anderson, he assumed he had easily killed Anderson with a single bullet but was caught off guard when Anderson regenerated. Alucard also expressed deep disappointment that Luke was not a more worthy adversary. In the anime, he seemed concerned with finding a worthy opponent. In the manga, however, Alucard states that he wishes to find an opponent, a human opponent, with sufficient willpower to destroy him despite his strength.

Ciri[]

Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, or commonly known simply as Ciri, is the deuteragonist and lead heroine of The Witcher franchise. She notably becomes playable multiple times throughout The Witcher 3, making her the only other playable character in the games other than Geralt himself.

Ciri's most distinguishing features are her ashen hair and the scar on her cheek. She has emerald-green eyes. As a child, she wore her hair short and had a white-and-brown outfit with light brown boots and dark green leggings. As a young adult, her appearance and attire is very different; she now wears her hair past her shoulders, and has a white shirt with black leggings, black trousers and dark brown trousers. She has grown quite tall, being almost as tall as Yennefer.

Guts[]

V38-Guts-Manga

Guts, renowned by his epithet the "Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded wanderer who peregrinates the world in constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and protecting those precious to him.

At one time driven solely by his will to survive, Guts finds purpose in life upon joining the Band of the Falcon, aiding greatly in the faction's storied successes during the Hundred Year War as the Falcons' Raiders Captain. He eventually becomes dissatisfied with clinging on to Griffith's dream, and defects from the Falcons in pursuit of his own dream. Following the horrors of the Eclipse prompted by Griffith, however, he becomes preoccupied with exacting revenge on the White Falcon and embittered on his one-track quest for retribution. He in time realizes protecting his regressed lover is more important to him, as well as something he cannot do alone, and thus seemingly abandons his quest for revenge while fostering camaraderie with new companions.

Known for his air of austerity, Guts is a gruff, cynical man holding an overall bleak outlook on life. This is a consequence of having endured waves of suffering and numerous betrayals since his youth, with nearly all highlights of his life having, in time, become lows. In spite of his guarded, brooding exterior, he has always been soft-hearted and, ultimately, a kind and caring individual. Even as his inner darkness festers deep within him and its temptation becomes increasingly harder to resist, he retains his empathy and compassion, refusing to completely discard his humanity.

Punisher[]

Punisher (Frank Castle)

The Punisher (Francis "Frank" Castle, born Francis Castiglione) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer Gerry Conway and artists John Romita Sr. and Ross Andru, with publisher Stan Lee green-lighting the name. The Punisher made his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #129 (cover-dated Feb. 1974).

The character is a vigilante who employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his campaign against crime. Driven by the deaths of his wife and two children who were killed by the mob for witnessing a killing in New York City's Central Park, the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals and employs the use of various firearms. His family's killers were the first to be slain by the Punisher. A war veteran and a United States Marine Corps Scout Sniper, Frank Castle (born Francis Castiglione) is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, guerrilla warfare, and marksmanship.

The Punisher's brutal nature and willingness to kill made him a novel character in mainstream American comic books when he debuted in 1974. By the late 1980s, the Punisher was part of a wave of psychologically-troubled antiheroes. At the height of his popularity, the character was featured in four monthly publications, including The Punisher, The Punisher War Journal, The Punisher War Zone, and The Punisher Armory. Despite his violent actions and dark nature, the Punisher has enjoyed some mainstream success on television, making guest appearances on Spider-Man: The Animated Series, and The Super Hero Squad Show, where the depiction of his violent behavior was toned down for family viewers. In feature films, Dolph Lundgren portrayed the Punisher in 1989, as did Thomas Jane in 2004, and Ray Stevenson in 2008. Jon Bernthal portrays the character in the second season of Marvel's Daredevil as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bernthal reprised the role in The Punisher, his own self-titled series.

Seras Victoria[]

2Dvd07l (2)

Seras Victoria is one of the main protagonists in the Hellsing series. Seras was turned into a vampire by Alucard to save her from a would-be fatal gunshot wound in the chest, that he also caused.

Seras is a strong willed woman, and apparently had always been since childhood which is confirmed through her flashbacks. Seras is often considered a tomboy; a very brave, strong-willed and heroic young woman who often rejects following orders of her master that cross with her personal beliefs. Her devotion to morals and integrity is rather unusual, considering her horrid past. However, she is a loyal and trustworthy soldier who will diligently follow the orders of her commander, provided said commander has proven his or her worth. She's the "light that stands out from the darkness" (quoting Kouta Hirano from a recent interview).

She is voiced by Fumiko Orikasa in the Japanese version of the anime and Katherine T. Gray in the English version.

Tatsuhiro Sato[]

Tatsuhiro Satou

Tatsuhiro Satou is the main character of the novel, manga and anime series Welcome to the NHK. He is a 22-year-old hikikomori (the Japanese term for shut-in) and has been one for nearly 4 years. He is also a college dropout. At the start, he is depicted as a hopeless human being destined to rot in his apartment room, until one day, he came across a mysterious girl who desires to save him from his Hikikomori state.

Satou is a highly unstable and paranoid man; he is convinced that he's being targeted by a conspiracy known as the NHK, and that he must remain a hikkikomori in order to keep them from destroying the entire world, and frequently has abnormal delusions. Overtime, however, it becomes increasingly clear that these nonsensical beliefs are just excuses he's come up with to justify his lifestyle. He is also a massive pervert, something he barely keeps concealed, often having lecherous fantasies about Misaki and Hitomi, and something even Yamazaki.

Satou is a rather indecisive and lazy man; deep down, he knows how unhealthy his lifestyle is, and he can't keep continuing to live the way he is. However, any attempts to escape from his lifestyle are short-lived, as he decides that it is too much of an effort to actually do anything about it. He changes his mind very often, as shown when he constantly changes his mind about how to proceed with Misaki. He can also lose hope fast, made apparent during the production of his and Yamazaki's gal game where he is determined to start but quickly loses that determination mid way, saying that the game has no chance of getting finished anyway and that he has other things to do.

Satou is also a terrible liar; back when he was in grade school, he would often get into all kinds of trouble, but whenever his mother scolded him for it, he would make up excuses or blame what happened on others. One time, however, his mother did believe one of his lies, and he felt so crushed that he made a vow to never lie to her again. As a result, whenever he does lie, he feels extremely frustrated and guilty, making it easy for people to see through his deception. At the same time, he can easily see through Misaki's obvious lies, and constantly suspects her of having an ulterior motive beyond helping him.

After learning that Misaki has a perfect view of his apartment from her mansion, Satou decides to break off his contract with Misaki. Despite this, before and after breaking it off, he finds himself thinking about her at highly inappropriate times, much to his annoyance. After Hitomi approaches him and asks that they go on a trip, Satou agrees, as he always regretted not going all the way with her back when they were in high school (it's implied they had a one-night stand, but that was it). However, it's only much later that Satou discovers he's become part of a suicide pact. Even after convincing the others not to go through with the suicide, Satou attempts to commit suicide himself, and is only saved after being talked down by Misaki and Yamazaki, and saved by Hitomi and the other participants when he nearly falls off the cliff.

Despite his paranoid nature, Satou, while not exactly stupid, is deceived quite easily, and Yamazaki outright calls him a "gullible simpleton". This is proven when he becomes addicted to an online RPG named Ultimate Fantasy, and develops a superficial crush on a cat girl named Mia (which is ironic, considering he isn't exactly a cat person, describing them as "ungrateful"). He is devastated when Yamazaki reveals that he was tricking him the whole time, even though he had good intentions in mind. Not long after, he is manipulated into taking part in a pyramid scheme with Megumi, and buys into her lies even after he figured out just what she had gotten him to take part in. Satou can also become obsessed very easily, not only with the aforementioned MMORPG, but also with gal games thanks to Yamazaki's influence, which repeatedly proves his undoing.

Despite clearly having feelings for Misaki, Satou ultimately ends up rejecting her contract that will bind them forever as a couple, wanting to protect her from his condition and believing that she deserves someone much better than he is. This shows him to be a very selfless person, perhaps to a fault, as he does this out of a belief that it's right even if it means he returns to being a hikkikomori. After his allowance from his parents is cut off completely, Satou grows to realise he has to leave his lifestyle, and ultimately goes out and gets a job. He also reflects that up until then, he had been quite privileged since he had been supplied with all he needed without having to work, and it's only now that he realises how lucky he's been.

Origami Tobiichi[]

Origami SpiritDress

She can be a bit reckless, otherwise aggressive if she has a goal or purpose to fulfill, she is also willing to do something someone else wouldn't to accomplish such goals as shown when she did everything Shido asked of her when he was trying to get her to not like him which shocked everyone around her.

Due to a Spirit killing her parents five years ago Origami has harbored an intense hatred and hostility towards all spirits, whenever she sees a spirit she loses all of her common sense and tries to kill it any way she possibly can. This hatred is shown to be strong enough that she was willing to kill Kotori despite the fact she knew she was Shido's sister, and only stopped because he pleaded for her to not kill Kotori, and told about Phantom's existence.

As the series progressed, Origami has shown a growing desire to obtain power. This eventually caused her to join D.E.M Industries by Isaac Ray Peram Westcott request, and later, after she was defeated, she accept a Sephira Crystal that turned her into a Spirit by Phantom.

Although disgusted that she became what she had always despised, Origami somewhat satisfied that she finally gained the power to fight evenly against Spirits. She thus decided that she would become the Spirit that kills the other spirits, and then would end her own life when her job was done, but the event cause her to be unable to face Shido after she transformed into an Spirit, immediately flee, despite the fact that she was in the middle of using her strongest attack againsts Tohka.

Kurumi also noted that she had fallen into an unrecoverable state. This Origami continues to exist into the new timeline, as all of her memories are retained, the New Timeline Origami eventually inherits her identity after resolving her emotional issues.

Lain Iwakura[]

78358

Lain Iwakura (岩倉 玲音) is the titular character of Serial Experiments Lain. She is a sentient computer program designed to sever the barrier between the material world and the wired, who is introduced as a shy Japanese girl in middle school at the beginning of the series. Lain appears to be a 14-year-old girl and stands at a shorter height than most of the characters in the show. She has pale skin, brown eyes and brown hair. Her hair is short, left slightly above the shoulders and a long lock of hair on the left side of her face. She wears a yellow hair-clip throughout the show. The hair-clip is 'X' shaped and wraps the entire lock of hair securely. Throughout the show, Lain could be seen in her school uniform, which consists of a grey blazer, with a blouse and a red tie underneath, a green skirt and white indoor shoes accompanied by black socks. When she is not in her school uniform, she either wears her pyjamas, which are stylized to look like a bear or plain clothes. Some characters in the Cyberia club have also mentioned that she dresses like 'an innocent schoolgirl'.

Lain is quiet and doesn't talk much, which leads to her being a bit of a social outcast. Her eyes are soft and naive and her posture is slumped depicting her introverted personality. She often hallucinates and sees things that aren’t real. At one point she thinks that steam is coming out of her hands, during an interview director Chiaki J. Konaka said that this means that she's mentally ill.

Eeyore[]

Eeyore Disney

Eeyore is a pessimistic and gloomy old stuffed donkey belonging to Christopher Robin. He first appeared in Disney's 1966 theatrical short Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree.

Eeyore is hardly ever happy, and even when he is, he's still sardonic and a bit cynical. Ironically, he actually seems to enjoy being gloomy to an extent and sees it as the essence of his very being. Nevertheless, he seems genuinely appreciative of the effort his friends put forth to cheer him up and is still a good friend. Eeyore's grumpiness and negative ways might be attributed to the fact that his tail is affixed to his backside using a pushpin and has a tendency to fall off. He doesn't like his tail, but he agrees that nothing better can replace it. He also loves sad stories because they make him feel more appreciative of his life and what he has. He also really likes eating thistles and sugar cubes.

Even though he complains a lot, Eeyore is generally quite a reliable character; a person you can lean on in times of trouble. He can sometimes be quite insightful ― in Winnie the Pooh's Most Grand Adventure, he was the first to understand that the group didn't have to go on a long and dangerous journey to become strong, smart or brave ― they had it inside them all along. In addition to this, a few episodes of the animated series The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh have shown hints that Eeyore is arguably the smartest, wisest, and most down-to-earth resident of the Hundred Acre Woods and has the most common sense (along with Kanga), most notably seen in the episode "Stripes" and "Home is Where the Home is".

Dexter Morgan[]

The Bay Harbour Butcher

Dexter Morgan is the title character and antihero of both the Showtime series DEXTER and the Dexter Novels. He is an elusive serial killer in Miami, known as "The Bay Harbor Butcher," who targets and kills other murderers. His detailed method of killing allows him to avoid the justice system by getting rid of any potential evidence. The irony of Dexter's life is that he works closely and affably with homicide detectives and a forensic specialist. Dexter, himself a blood spatter analyst, collects, processes, and interprets evidence for the Miami Metro Police Department. He often uses his ability to access police databases or tamper with evidence for his personal advantage. By survival, Dexter is the most successful serial killer in the series.

When Dexter is three-years-old, he witnesses his mother being murdered by a drug dealer with a chainsaw. At an early age, Dexter starts to kill and dismember animals. His adoptive father, Harry, (a homicide detective) realizes that Dexter is a potential serial killer. After attempts to curb Dexter's violent behavior failed, Harry concludes that Dexter's need to kill can not be suppressed--only focused. Making the best out of a bad situation, Harry decides to train Dexter as a vigilante, to solely hunt and kill other murderers (arguably making society safer). To avoid arrest, Dexter follows a set of guidelines, the Code of Harry. Dexter generally disposes of his victims by dismembering them, putting the parts into black trash bags, and dropping the bags off his fishing boat into the ocean. During Season Two, scuba divers discover the bodies of eighteen of his victims. Due to the location where the bodies are found and because they were cut into pieces, the media labels the unknown killer The Bay Harbor Butcher - a moniker hated by Dexter.

Lapis Lazuli[]

Lapis S6 By TheOffColors

Lapis Lazuli is a major character in Steven Universe. She serves a the secondary antagonist of the Season 1, a minor character in Season 2 and a major character of Season 3 and onward.

She is a former Homeworld Gem and a former agent of Blue Diamond until rescued by the Crystal Gems in Gem Drill after unfusing from being Malachite during a battle with them fused as Alexandrite in "Super Watermelon Island". She lived on the barn with Peridot and is now an ally to the Crystal Gems and Steven. She eventually left Earth and took the barn with her in "Raising the Barn". However in the Season 5 half-hour special, "Reunited", Lapis returns to Earth to aid Steven and the Crystal Gems in fighting against Yellow and Blue Diamond and officially calling herself a Crystal Gem. Unfortunately, it ends with Lapis getting poofed by Yellow Diamond. She eventually reappears in the Season 5 half-hour finale special, "Change Your Mind" to help Steven and Connie along with Peridot and Bismuth. She currently lives with Peridot and Bismuth in Steven Universe: The Movie.

While she is kind, assured, rapturous, thoughtful and enthusiastic with Steven Universe, Lapis Lazuli is a cunning, vindictive, unscrupulous, distrustful and manipulative towards the Crystal Gems, believing they care more about the Earth than their own kind, likely due to them being unaware for so many years about her captivity.

Even more in "Same Old World" where it is revealed when Lapis went to visit Earth she was mistaken for a Crystal Gem and caught as a prisoner by her own kind.

When confronted with an enemy more powerful than herself, she displays a defeatist and worried approach. She believes that putting up a struggle can only make the situation worse. In "The Message", she delivers a frantic message to Steven about the approaching invasion, begging him to submit to the Homeworld should they cross paths. In "Jail Break", she gives similar advice when Steven stumbled across her, mentioning Homeworld might go easy on them if they follow orders. However, Lapis can and will immediately become aggressive, obstreperous, impatient and hostile, if she deems it necessary.

Meliodas[]

Meliodas anime full appearance 2

Meliodas (メリオダス Meriodasu) is the captain and the Dragon's Sin of Wrath of the Seven Deadly Sins and is the main male protagonist of the manga/anime series The Seven Deadly Sins. He is voiced by Yuki Kaji in the original Japanese version and Bryce Papenbrook in the English version of the anime series, both of them are notable for the voice of Eren Yaeger.

Meliodas's dominant traits are his frankness and his utter fearlessness, shown when he remains composed seeing the Rust Knight who was later revealed to be Elizabeth Liones. Due to his horrible cooking, when his customers vomit onto the Boar Hat's floor, he instructs Hawk to clean up the scraps, and scares him by saying phrases such as "roast pig" if he complains, hinting he may roast the talking pig. He is also shown to be very bawdy and loves to frequently tell jokes. Occasionally, he takes advantage of Elizabeth's naivety and gropes her breasts, not even ashamed of doing so in public or in front of her father. He also has a strong sense of justice and is willing to help people in distress. Even when he is severely injured, he tries not to show weakness, and stays strong in front of his companions. He holds resentment upon himself for being a failure as an older brother, and he also clashed swords with his own brother Zeldris in the past.

Despite his title as the Sin of Wrath, he appears to be a very calm person. However, if his companions or friends are harmed in any way, he is greatly angered. He is also shown to fall into a state of extreme rage when someone tries to take his sword, with this rage being capable of scaring even a Holy Knight and leaving a permanent scar on Ban's neck, despite his regeneration abilities. It has been hinted that Meliodas is guilt-ridden over the fate of Danafor, saying that his sin was being unable to save the kingdom. Ban and Cain point out that Meliodas tends to be soft and naive, due to him never killing anyone, even someone like Guila, who was a serious threat to the group. Meliodas dislikes killing, preferring to be merciful. Elizabeth points out that Meliodas is not naive or a simpleton, but just really kind.

Akira Fudo[]

Fudou.Akira.full.2253392

Akira Fudo is the human who becomes the eponymous Devilman. Originally passive and weak-willed, per the machinations of his friend Ryo Asuka, he is possessed by the demon hero Amon, gaining the demon's powers and memories while maintaining his human consciousness due to his pure heart. Now a creature with the body of a demon but the mind of a human, Akira swears to protect his former people against the hordes of demons that seek to destroy humanity.

Akira was born as the only son to his parents. Due to his sensitive nature, as a child he was nicknamed the "Fire Alarm of Higashi Elementary" for how much he cried. When his parents leave Japan to work abroad, Akira had to transfer to a new school and is sent to live with his father's friend Kozo Makimura. Akira quickly becomes friends with Kozo's daughter Miki and develops romantic feelings for her. At some point previously, Akira had met Ryo Asuka and became best friends with him before Ryo moved away (this was later revealed to be a fake memory implanted by Psycho Jenny).

Before his initial transformation, Akira was kind and sweet, but cowardly and highly emotional at the same time. Much of the time, he used to cry in most of these situations. Shying out of any conflict or problems had caused those around him to think him as weak. After becoming Devilman however, Akira became much more brave and headstrong, as well as perverse. Because of his originally weak will, his fusion with Amon however caused him to become far more brooding and violent. He was best friends with Ryo Asuka and had been since childhood (although this is later shown only to be implanted memories), he was deeply protective of Ryo. Unknown to him for a long while, Ryo was in love with Akira. However Akira didn't return the feelings of love and instead cared for Miki Makimura who both shared romantic feelings for one another, much to Ryo's frustration.

Saya Kisaragi[]

XVENz7t

Saya Kisaragi is the main protagonist of the Anime, Blood-C. She is initially portrayed as a kind, clumsy and helpful person, acting very cheerful and singing songs in the morning. It is revealed at the end of the series that her true self is much more serious and not at all like how she was shown at first. Fumito Nanahara states that she does not care for humans, and wishes to be able to drink their blood, but is unable to due to a contract made with an unknown person.

Saya Kisaragi is the daughter of the priest at the local shrine, whose duty it is to slay the Elder Bairns, creatures who drink the blood of humans. It is what her mother did before she died, and now Saya is the only one who can slay them. By day she seems to live a normal life of a high school girl, though Saya does seem to be rather clumsy, and completely oblivious to many remarks that are made around her, especially concerning boys that seem to like her. Since neither she nor her father are capable cooks, she eats breakfast every morning at Guimauve, the cafe next to the shrine.

After the series her personality somehow changed. She was now portrayed as a cold and serious person, often causing troubles to the city.

Kiana Kaslana[]

Kiana14

K-423, also called Kiana Kaslana, is the heroine and the initial character in the game "Honkai Impact 3rd". She is a replica of the 2nd Herrscher with DNA of Kiana Kaslana. Her father is the current patriarch of the Kaslana family: Siegfried Kaslana. Her mother was Cecilia Schariac, known as "The Legendary Woman". She is currently enrolled at St. Freya High School to train as a Valkyrie alongside Raiden Mei and Bronya Zaychik. Though no matter where she goes, Kiana always manages to find trouble...

Regardless of the situation, Kiana is consistently spunky and lighthearted. She is also honest to a fault, stating that instead of guessing on a test, she would rather admit to her lack of knowledge and leave answers blank. Kiana rarely filters her thoughts and states whatever she's thinking long before she considers the consequences of her words or actions. Though her intelligence is often a source of humor, Kiana has shown considerable skill and talent regarding practical battle techniques. It is mentioned that the only reason she has not passed her A-rank Valkyrie exam is because she fails the written portion even while acing the battle portion.

Kiana has also been shown to have noticeable interest in other girls. She blatantly shows affection for her fellow Valkyrie, Mei and when her father, Siegfried Kaslana's, lecherous behavior is described by Theresa, she mentions being "jealous" presumably because she also would enjoy similar activities. She is very often unable to contain her affection for Mei. She has demonstrated on several occasions to completely disregard even the most tense situations in favor of insinuating that she'd much rather be spending intimate moments with Mei instead of focusing on the situation at hand. Mei doesn't mind usually unless Kiana is unable to control her public displays of affection.

Commander Shepard (Renegade)[]

Shepard renegade

Commander Shepard is the main protagonist of the Mass Effect trilogy. Despite this fact, he/she does not necessarily have to be a heroic character, and the Renegade iteration of Shepard is an extremely cruel, brutal, and militant individual who operates in a much more ruthless and callous manner than that of the more heroic Paragon Shepard.

Like Paragon Shepard, Renegade Shepard has one of three possible backstories, either being the son or daughter of spacers (Hannah Shepard), an orphan and former gang member from Earth, or a colonist from Mindoir who was orphaned during an attack by Batarian slavers. Renegade Shepard also has one of three possible "reputations": a War Hero, the Sole Survivor of a Thresher Maw attack, or (perhaps most likely) a ruthless individual who is already notorious for using any means necessary to get the job done, also being known as "The Butcher of Torfan".

Throughout the course of the Mass Effect Trilogy, Renegade Shepard consistently shows either contempt or indifference to everyone around them, often being needlessly rude, patronizing, and insulting, even to friends and allies. Renegade Shepard has little if any sympathy towards the plights of others and prefers instead to order angsting allies to "get over it".

Renegade Shepard also displays homicidal and bloodthirsty tendencies, as shown by their always opting for a more violent and brutal approach to solving problems (as opposed to Paragon Shepard who tries to look for a better way than wanton destruction) and seems to relish fighting. Renegade Shepard has also persuaded allies to indulge in their own darker inclinations, Garrus Vakarian in Mass Effect 2 being perhaps the best example of this.

Though Paragon Shepard often finds constructive solutions to problems, and never endangering innocents, Renegade Shepard has little patience for such things and believes in doing "whatever is necessary" to get the job done, regardless of "collateral damage". Notably Renegade Shepard is shown to take a liking to Cerberus in Mass Effect 2, who operate under a very similar philosophy. That Renegade Shepard also displays occasional xenophobic views and tendencies (another major part of Cerberus' MO) is likely another reason for this.

Though occasionally justifying him/herself by claiming that they are doing what is "necessary" this claim loses much of its validity in the face of Paragon Shepard's consistently being able to find a better way and also Renegade Shepard's hypocrisy. Throughout the games Renegade Shepard expresses disgust at the actions of others even though most if not all the time these individual crimes are no worse than what Renegade Shepard himself has done. An example of this would be Renegade Shepard's criticizing rogue Spectre Tela Vasir, even though her loyalty to the Shadow Broker is little different from Renegade Shepard's own loyalty to the Illusive Man. Also, noteworthy is the fact that though Renegade Shepard approves of Cerberus, they are also quick to assume the worst of their so-called allies. This is the opposite of Paragon Shepard, who ironically despite hating Cerberus also sometimes shows them the benefit of the doubt.

Claire Stanfield[]

3464246-claire stanfield

Felix Walken (フェリックス・ウォーケン Ferikkusu Wōken), formerly known as Rail Tracer (レールトレーサー Rērutorēsā), introduced as Young Conductor and born Claire Stanfield (クレア・スタンフィールド Kurea Sutanfīrudo) is the legendary freelance assassin Vino (ヴィーノ Vīno), and considered to be one of the best in the profession.

He will be referred to as Claire throughout the article, since that is how he is most commonly known. Claire is a presumably handsome man with blood-red hair and a lean build. Aboard the Flying Pussyfoot, he wore a custom-white conductor's uniform which was soon coated in the blood of those he killed aboard the train.

Claire is a solipsist. He believes that the world is a dream of his own creation, and all the people are figments of his own imagination. He cannot picture the world without him in it, and so in his mind he "can never be killed." If he does die, he'll simply 'wake up' from his dream. His solipsism has led him to eschew the idea of immortality, as "it can do nothing for him". He considers himself the centre of the world and takes pride in this. Claire immensely dislikes it when people attribute his skill to God or natural talent. He emphasizes that he worked extremely hard to improve himself, and he wishes people would acknowledge the effort he put in rather than dismissively calling him a prodigy. As The President of the Daily Days puts it, Claire operates outside the law through his own warped sense of justice. Claire is considerate of those he deems innocent, going out of his way to ensure the safety of people who are not his targets and/or pose no danger. Claire takes pride in his work, and takes his responsibilities seriously. As a train conductor, his job is to protect the passengers and he does so with zeal, adopting the Rail Tracer persona in order to protect them. It can be argued that he can take his responsibilities too seriously (to the point of lucridity) -- for instance, when he encounters a stowaway on board the train he briefly considers dealing with her despite the fact that he is in the middle of a bloodbath.

Ragna the Bloodedge[]

Ragna the Bloodedge (Centralfiction, Character Select Artwork)

Ragna the Bloodedge was the main protagonist of BlazBlue (from Calamity Trigger until Central Fiction) and the older brother of Jin Kisaragi and Saya. He was a wanted criminal with an extraordinarily large bounty on his head (well in the trillions) for attempting to destroy the Novus Orbis Librarium.

Ragna is sardonic, rude, and abrasive to anyone he comes across. He is also quick to anger, stubborn, and never misses a chance to use as much vulgar language as possible; in fact, he is depicted as one of three characters to use the most amounts of profanity, alongside Kokonoe and Yuuki Terumi. In this regard, Ragna is similar to the stereotypical anime delinquent. This is caused mainly by Terumi destroying Ragna's life, which has created a mass of hatred in him; stronger than that of any other individual. Ragna often becomes infuriated at first sight of Terumi, which he often takes advantage of through taunting him. However, even in cases where he can't win or is on the brink of death, Ragna possesses an undying will and refuses to give up, something many characters hate or admire.

Beneath his gruff exterior, however, Ragna does possess a softer, much more compassionate side. He chooses to keep up his public front because of the path he chose - that of revenge. He does genuinely care for certain people, such as Taokaka, Noel and Jubei. He spared Arakune's life due to Litchi's pleas, and in his Arcade Mode, he directly references his promise to Litchi to let him live after he defeats him. Also, despite Jin's role in the destruction of his life, still cares for him as a brother. He also expressed anguish when Nu sacrificed her life to protect him, despite the past animosity he harbored for her.

Later on after the events of Chronophantasma, Ragna goes through more personal development which changes his opinions about the reasons he fights, which makes him stop relying on the Azure Grimoire and try to fight with his own strength. Due to this, he stops fighting to destroy and for revenge, where he instead decides to fight in order to protect and not lose anymore of his loved ones.

In the anime, Ragna is more rebellious than he is in the games.

Cloud Strife[]

Cloud-FFVIIArt

Cloud Strife is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and also supporting charcter of Final Fantasy VII: Dirge Of Cerberus and then he returned again as a deuteragonist in the prequel Crisis Core. He starts out as a mercenary, but as the game goes on wants to save the world from Shinra and his mortal enemy Sephiroth. Cloud also appeared in many Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games. He is an expert swordsman.

In Final Fantasy VII, due to the combined effects of Mako poisoning and the influence of Jenova's cells in his body, Cloud unknowingly holds a fake persona created by the Jenova cells mixing his memories of Zack's personality with the cocky and selfish attitude he believes a SOLDIER 1st Class would have. After restoring his true personality, Cloud shows genuine concern for the Planet's fate, a sharp contrast to his persona at the start where he claimed he did not care and only agreed to help AVALANCHE for the right price. The true Cloud is open-minded and cares about the bond he forged with his friends.

In Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and many related appearances, Cloud is a somber character, tormented by guilt over what he perceives as his past failings to save those he cares about. The final straw was contracting the terminal Geostigma plague, adding to his feelings of helplessness. Distancing from his friends and living alone, Cloud tries to keep his affliction secret. Cloud faces his past both metaphorically and literally, and with the shows of loyalty from the friends he tried to let go he comes to forgive himself and moves on. It is unclear what this ultimately means in terms of his personality and lifestyle.

Satella[]

B4fc2072bcd5f5896ad0b0e5728cca29

Satella (サテラ) is the Witch of Envy and the source of all events happening in the story of Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu.

Satella has a thin body with long silver hair and purple blue eyes. When Subaru encountered her at Echidna' tea party, she wore a black dress made of shadows that seemed to wave in accordance with her heartbeat. Initially, he was unable to see her face because of a black shadow covering her above her neck, which was created out of his reluctance to accept her, however he later accepts her and becomes able to see her face, mentioning afterward that she looked exactly the same as Emilia.

Contrary to popular belief, Satella and the Witch of Envy are separate personalities, formed when she took in incompatible Witch Genes. The two personalities tend to fight each other. Both personalities love Subaru, though the Witch of Envy personality is much more aggressive about it, while Satella is much more reasonable and cares deeply about his well-being.

400 years earlier, Satella absorbed Envy Witch Genes she had no compatability with, resulting in the creation of her Witch of Envy personality, subsequently going out of control and killing six other Witches of Sin while nearly destroying the world. Despite the efforts of many, including the Dragon, the Sword Saint, and Sage, Satella was unable to be killed, instead sealed in a shrine that is watched over.

According to the other witches, Satella is the one that swallowed the other six witches and half the world, and not the Witch of Envy.

Ryūko Matoi[]

Ryuuko Matoi

Ryuko Matoi is the main protagonist of the Kill la Kill anime and manga. She is a nomadic transfer student who transfers to Honnōji Academy in search of the other half of a red Scissor Blade she carries, and the one who murdered her father, Isshin Matoi.

Ryuko displays herself to be a fierce and stubborn school girl. She is seemingly not afraid of anything, which is demonstrated by how easily she stands up to Satsuki Kiryuin and demands her questions to be answered. She also shows no fear when she fights with the Boxing Club president who clearly overpowers her. Later on, she is shown to be quite embarrassed when she is forced to fight in her very revealing outfit, though she overcomes her embarrassment in Episode 3, showing that while she is not afraid of fighting to her death, she is quite conscious of her body. She also shows fierce determination in finding her father's killer.

Her stubbornness was taken up to ridiculous levels when she managed to free herself from Ragyō's mind control by punching herself on the cheek. This same episode, however, has one of few demonstrations of shock on her part, when Ragyo defeats Satsuki, rips out Ryuko's heart and reveals to be her mother.

Raiden Shogun[]

Baal Artwork

Beelzebul, also known as Baal and Raiden Shogun, is a major antagonist of Genshin Impact. She is the God of Eternity and the current Electro Archon. Her current persona is Raiden Ei. She is the main antagonist of Chapter II, serving as the overarching antagonist of the prelude as well as Act 1: The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia, a major antagonist in Act 2: Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow, the final antagonist of Act 3: Omnipresence Over Mortals, and the protagonist of her Story Quest, Umbrosa Imperatrix Chapter.

Essentially the ruler and the Archon of the Japanese-based nation known as Inazuma, Beelzebul is responsible for the Vision Hunt Decree which results in some people losing their own visions and dreams, and aspiration and ambitions were destroyed after their own visions were confiscated.

The factions that pledged loyalty towards the Electro Archon herself, the Tenryou Commission, were responsible of executing Beelzebul's order by obeying the Vision Hunt Decree while Beelzebul stored most of the visions that were confiscated in the statue of the Thousand-Armed Hundred-Eyed God.

She is voiced by Ju Huahua in Chinese, Anne Yatco in English, and Miyuki Sawashiro in Japanese, with the latter best known for voicing Ultear Milkovich, Elletear Lou Nebulis IX, Mosquito Girl, Krystalinda, and Ivy Valentine. Both of them are more famously known for voicing Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact 3rd, whom was used as inspiration for Beelzebul's title, design, and abilities much like other Genshin Impact characters.
