Karl Ruprecht Kroenen is a character and master assassin from the Hellboy series, who is an agent for Project Ragna Rok, serving Grigori Rasputin.
He was killed by Hellboy in a showdown for revenge for killing his adoptive father, Trevor Bruttenholm.
The Multi-Universal War of Destiny[]
Kroenen is a member of Sigma's organization and is of his heralds, through his master assassin abilities. He did constant kills for his boss and helps Ridley and Laufey with their schemes, he get bested by V and Alucard when they invade.
In the final war he is killed by Brick and Butch while Lance arrests Cryus.

Chapter 6: The Arrival of Earth X[]
Karl Remerges to work for the New Reishmen and leads an counter attack on the Resisitance opposing Dark Arrow. Being the one who blinds Luan and captures her friends through Dark Arrow. He is given orders to investigate Luan and insure nothing goes wrong
Karl follows through, restrains himself from killing anyone and manages to see her meet up with the Neo Vought Coproation. Recongizing Eliza as someone who refused to play ball, Karl offers to take her non verbally. Though Dark Arrow states he has another idea respectfully.
Karl is one of the two main enforcers to capturing the time travelers and their friends alongside Over Girl during their attack on Tech and the others. Guarding the cells, Karl makes an obvious threat to kill them if they try anything.
He is knocked out by Tawna who allows the others to get out. Karl sharpens himself for the Tesseract attack instead and nearly gets it for his master, but is foiled by Cavendish and Dakota. Karl makes one last stand before he retreats like the others.
Chapter 7: X Marks the Spot[]
Karl continues to enforce the New Reichmen's orders and joins up with Stromfront and Elsa to secure the Time Stone and insure Hellboy fullfills his destiny. Despite not succeeding in the latter, they manage to indeed get the Time Stone albeit at the cost of his, Rasputin and Ilsa's live.
