Hughie Campbell

Hugh "Hughie" Campbell Jr. is the main protagonist of the Amazon series The Boys and a member of the The Boys.

Hughie has a mediocre life. He’s a mild-mannered guy with a boring job, who still lives at home with his Dad — in the same bedroom he grew up in. The only light in his life is the love of his life: his girlfriend, Robin. That is, until a speedster superhero named A-Train runs through Robin, eviscerating and killing her on impact. Episode 14

At a point where he was stilling was working with Victoria Neuman, he and her end up learning about a nuclear explosion of radiation that occured at the trailer of Crimson Countess and he is picked spefically by her to join Victoria in investigating the area.

Episode 15

Hughie and Neuman discover the TNT Twins Corpse a bit afterwards after the deal between the heroes, Professor Chang and Vostok. Victoria and Hughie discover Mind Bender and Gunpowder's corpses and Neuman calls her step dad who had sent Noir to deal with the situation after the death of Crimson Countless unknown to Hughie who he learns Neuman has been in touch with someone who get the right person on the job.

Episode 23

Hughie discovers Solider Boy was resealed in an ice box and that the place must be sealed off in China Town, with all the environmental damage Midas caused, it's unlikely it will be resolved in this lifetime. He gives the info over to Neuman who in turn tells her dad.

Countdown To Chang's Guide To The Galaxy

Chapter 2

Gwen, Luan, Captain Hero, Harry and Benny reach the Boys and Gwen introduces themselves to them.

Meanwhile Harrison,The Boys, Captain Hero and Benny are laying low as the three of them are learning about their history.

Benny finds a kindred spirit in Hughie because of how it feels to have a super powered girl friend.

Harrison and The Boys decide to pursue Homelander and Vought's plans despite Benny's warning that careless actions will cause trouble.

Harry, Butcher, Captain Hero, Benny, Hughie, MM and Frenchie all manage to get through many of Vought's enforcers until they reach A Train, Harry, Captain Hero and Benny are brought up to speed on him. A Train is here to enforce Homelander's will although he's doing it out of some sense of fear and just so to keep his status. The Boys and Harry both proceed to deal with A Train, while Benny uses his outsider status to his advantage to help Harrison and Butcher find more out on Vought and he is joined by Hughie.

Harry and The Boys realize that Bruno Mannheim and The Deep after looking into the box that they were shipping Compound V and that they were smugging it and that Harry  feels that Homelander is setting something up as do the Boys. Harry wants to destory the product and Hero is on board as well. Benny and The Boys though feel that there is no real way to destroy the product without alering Homelander or Vought.

Luan and Gwen return and that the two are brought up to speed on Compound V by Hughie, Harry and Benny.

Hughie goes along with Luan, Benny and Gwen's idea to just go somewhere far away beyond Homelander's reach in a good amount of time and just get rid of it. Luan, Benny, Gwen, Hero and The Boys head off to the sea.

Chapter 3

In The Sub we have Harry talking to Billy, Hughie, Captain Hero and Benny as he has studied the notes to Operation Countdown and that it looks like Homelander is co-opearting with Smoking Man to accomplish their plans through complex means which Homerlander doesn't get but the latter does get.

Hughie tells Harrison, that the corporation is so big that they can't even fail, anything that opposes and challenges them is met with bribes, corrupt officials, blackmail, or assassination, He tried to challenge them but thet made it impossible. Harry believes no coproration can truly stay still and even they will be exposed, He knows this and won't let Vought threaten him

Benny and Harrison ask Hughie about his attempt to oppose Vought, Hughie simply that he tried to fix the corruption from within but that proved undoable. He had a boss that was a Supe who sliented those who could tesitfy against Vought as well. Benny asks what else does he have to say about this.

Hughie states Vought can covering up collateral damage and needless deaths through brand deals, merchandising, buying silence from witnesses/survivors, and using contracts to control public relations. He is unsure that they even can stop them

Benny is confident his girlfriend's guardian Bender can stop them, and he can do nearly anythng. Harry states that this may be true, but he is working on something to make this simpler. Hughie and Billy ask exactly what, Harry states he's working on a meta-human cure

Billy asks about what it does, Harry explains that it suppresses the dark matter in their pituitary gland, where super powers emerge in meta humans. Hughie questions if this can work on Homelander, Harry states he needs another subject before that point and Hero refuses to be that est subject

Luan, Gwen, Billy Hughie, Benny, Captain Hero, Harrison, MM and Frenchie discuss what their plans are in regards to throwing away the Compound V. Each have a different Idea, Captain Hero and Mother's MIlk intend to just destory the crate, Hughie, Luan and Benny want to basically just use science to basically see how Compound V is created and find a way to tamper with it.

Each of them all debate the ideas and are on disagreeance what is the better idea. However The Deep attacks with Susshi, Tornadon, Squishy them. All them of notice this and The Deep is here to get The Compound V Crate back from them

Harry, Captain Hero and Billy refuse to give it to them and The Deep sends the monsters to attack them. Hughie and Benny being non action guys decide to keep the submarine safe with Harry, Captain Hero, Billie, MM, Frenchie , The Girl, Luan and Gwen all put on snorkel gear to be able to swim and take on the monsters and The Deep without as much trouble.

The Deep angered by this goes after them and summons creatures to keep them all in hand as he prepares to finish this. Hughie and Benny manage to drive the submarine into The Deep and he tells his friends to finish the job

However his sea friends attack him, for some reason and everyone is techinally saved and it turns to be Queen Cleo.

Shark Man and Queen Cleo both basically tell them to head to the isle to dispose of Compound V  upon being told of this by the others and are told to follow them. Benny, Hughie, Frenchie, The Lady, Mother's Milk, Billy, Luan, Gwen, Captain Hero and Harrison Wells all follow them as a result to that island

Shark Man and Cleo lead Luan, Harry, Benny, Captain Hero, Gwen and The Boys to the Island where Lava Woman is.

Kate Bishop she arrives saying she was keeping an eye on them this whole time.

Kate shows them a file on Vought and explains what their plan is to them. Billy and Hughie read it and are suprised Kate managed to figure it out with her own work. Kate states she knows what she's doing and explains what she's doing here

The Boys and Harry Wells put things together as they work on the anti-metahuman cure to use against Vought as they figure out this is a way to defeat Homelander and his other 2 supes.

Billy and Hughie both agree with this, Billy wants to use this for his crusade against Homelander and Hughie can use it to stop Vought from the inside more sucessfully.

Chapter 4

Hughie and Billy devise a plan to take Homelander a peg with Luan, Benny and the other Boys as they don't feel like overpowering him is going to be a choice. Though he does take into consideration of what Bender and Anti Cosmo managed to pull on Homelander and with Billy and Benny he feels that the best go to operation is to blackmail Homelander and have his rep damaged bit by bit.

Hughie unlike everyone when hearing Harry intends to take them to Royal Woods, questions if it's wise as Luan is being hunted like her brother by CSM and others and that it could be a mistake to take this. Luan agrees herself with this as she talked to Harry, but Luan tells Hughie she has to do what's right to keep Lincoln, Lisa and Bender from targeted from CSM like the rest of her family. Hughie does get this as he would do this for his dad.

Homelander and Hopkins manage to spring a trap on them and Hughie manages to get away and with Benny he helps free the others from their trap and giving Luan, Gwen and Kate a way out. Hughie and Benny then take the opportunity to put the recording Anti Cosmo and Bender have on Homelander's attack on Alamo Land up on the web which damages Homelander's reptuation slightly. This indeed forces Homelander to back off from Billy who he was close to killing out of a sense of "mercy".

Hughie seems content with making a move that Vought can't just swat under the floor at this point. Harry approaches Hughie and the others after his phone call and tells him that they must head to Juvie to see Prankster. As the group heads off, he is told by Benny and Luan about what happened with them against The Pranks A Lot Mob led by this doppelganger of Luan's

Chapter 5

Hughie and the others go to see Prankster as per Titan's request and this is where they meet the criminal teenage super villain in the cell. Like the other boys, he shows unwillingness to trust the three. As Titan, Prankster and Lorenzo all basically look like oblivously evil characters. Though when they mention exposing Vought, This does manage to interest Hughie and recultantly he agrees to help them. He helps Harry keep a leash on Prankster as well.

Queen Maueve is who he finds out is the informant that Prankster and the other 2 were talking about. With what info he got with from her, they prepare to incriminate Vought with this and with what Luan and Harry know from the others. It looks like they're going to succeed, though they need to get rid of Homelander or get him out of ear sight.

Chapter 6

With the other boys, Hughie arrives at Halverston and Area and cross paths with Slade and Bender's groups in time for an invasion to occur and them to regroup with a plan to save everyone they know.

Finale

He goes with Benny to sue Vought with Saul Goodman at the court with the others and serves as the plaintiff Saul represents. Though their case is hard, He and them win the case and get back to the others

With Starlight, they decide to reform the company's image and to move on a prosperous future with Professor Membrane.

Chapter 3: Solider Boy's Final Stand

He joined Starlight in seeing the heroes under Larke Tanner. They took over it as a result of Homelander's death and while he's still young that to what Starlight, he did lose his hair as he admits

Hughie shares notes with the others about happened.

As it's not safe to do anything where they are, the group on Larke's ideas decide to head to the northern multiverse.Hughie and Starlight think if they should get the other Boys involved, though they go against it

He finds out his account was frozen, and Hughie questions how this could have happen. Larke has Tawna on it.After a choice encounter with Solider Boy's men they reach Blue Falcon's lair where they decide to make their move

Working with Tawna, he decides to look for how Solider Boy and his men find them constantly.

Felicity, Hughie and the Hanna Barbera Heroes manage to make a contact to the other Hanna Barbara Heroes. They manage to find them and contact them and they get the help that the heroes called.

Starlight and Hughie work together to deal with the reinforcements respectfully and they figure out that he had them bugged. They discuss with Lizbeth, Connie and the others a way to get to Solider Boy and deal with him by using bait and punish style before they go with Cassie to get Lizbeth back from SB.

Hughie and the others basically get the info needed to ultimately hack into the systems and expose Solider Boy for all his crimes respectfully. When this is all done, Hughie and Starlight return to Neo Vought Corporation and discuss the events as such.

Chapter 4

Hughie becomes aware of the attack and tries to resolve the matter Lord Commander and Raven Beak are doing respectively. This doesn't go as planned though and he has to work with Noir to acquire the info that they need.

Upon being told of the heroes needing to go to Japan with Ren, Starlight decides to join them and advises Hughie to stay as Starlight knows Hughie is a great guy and should stay the way he is and help innocents while Starlight takes care of the situation with the others.

Chapter 6: The Arrival of Earth X

After being unfrozen, he brings in his team mates to help with certain situations with him and Starlight.

He is informed of the New Reich by Luan's arrival and that he and Starlight learn of Stormfront's return through this. With Cassie and the others having disappeared, he teams up with Dakota and Cavendish to try and bring them back respectfully as the rest go after Dark Arrow to help Luan.

On top of this, he works to learn of Dark Arrow's work and history before The New Reich attempts to put them away. Hughie and Cavendish continue to work on their info as the others face off with the New Reich. They are turned in by them due to Overgirl's involvement.

Even in prison, Hughie works with Dakota and Cavendish to insure a safe way to get his friends back from the wormhole. They eventually manage to escape and deal with the New Reich out to execute them. Hughie is injured by his attempt to escape, but he decides to keep going and sees The Tesseract which Dakota and Cavendish reveal what really is in it. Hughie unlike his friends know exactly what they're for and feels that is was Dark Arrow is purusing. Extracting the Space Stone out of the Tesseract and knowing Cecil had it there to keep from others and himself, he hands it to the Time Bureau Agents and they in conjunction the three get the others back during Dark Arrow's first stand

With Cassie, Ren, Kate and Kelly return, he notices Cassie has changed and Kate informs him that she worked with him, Starlight and The Boys in the past which baffles him as Kate and Ren before inform him that were involved in the events of Operation Countdown. This gets the attention of the agents.

Chapter 7: X Marks the Spot

Hughie and The Boys are brought back into the fold by Commander Airlock and others as they found something and it's another special stone similar to the Space Stone. As a result he joins the others and they all head to go after the Stone.

Dark Arrow also emerges and comes after them to too and is more prepared as they discover he had an infinity Stone himself.

Eventually this takes them to space following Airlock who takes the others on where she has found for them. Arriving on Malekith this is where their stone lies. Hughie manages to decuct it's the Reality Stone with the others and explains the use it to Neo Vought to them.

Larke and Betty both knew already as he finds out and upon heading down Malekith they are ambushed by New Reichmen, who want the stone respectively and are intent to use their own mind stone on them.

Though they fail to get the Mind Stone from Dark Arrow, Hughie and the others were lucky to get the Reality Stone and add to their collection. Working with Luan's Resistance, they decide to look into the final 2 stones as well.

Chapter 8: Earth X's Last Stand

Billy, Hughie, Mother's Milk and Frenchie reunite with Slade, Anti Cosmo, Bender, Marcy Wu and Harry Wells upon seeing Dakota and Cavendish bring them to the future. Working with them and Mark and Eve they take on Dark Arrow and his Reichmen while investigating everything that went down respectively over time with Stormfront leading the way against them due to her vendetta against The Boys, Slade, Anti Cosmo and Bender.

The Boys run into Thawne who Bender and his friends oppose and has returned. Billy and The Boys decide to insure Bender get back to his timeline and they will deal with Thawne respectfully. They kill him, but Eve can still feel his presence. This is proven when they find the Negative Speed Forces who they destroy respectfully to keep them from furthering helping Thawne.

The Bad Guys and The Boys

Hughie and The Boys are brought in to assist Deathstroke with his situation at hands as they were looking into  Black Noir and dealng with him. He finds out he works for Kang,who's his target.Unlike his peers, Hughie isn't so sure about dealing with this but is reassured by Starlight that he will be fine. As he meets The Bad Guys learning about their involvement in this as well

He manages to do some research on Kang and learns of his orgins and why he's here as where is he mostly stuck in The Quantum Realm. During their times, he is threatened by Black Noir constantly as Hughie decided to look into who he really is. This Black Noir intends to keep secret, though Starlight does get involved to help him despite not being on the winning side.

Upon Seeing the Female in bad conditions, he tries to give care but Frenchie does take care of this. He also notes the corpses and buries them with Starlight and MM giving his respects to them

In his absence, he learns Agent Trout arrested The Bad Guys and tries to stop this only for Trout to put a stop to it. Noting the Realm, he joins Mother's Milk and Billy to save Mulder. They run into Spider Punk and others, and join up with them to deal with Kang's reinforcements and save his slaves. He like Mulder is nearly killed by the conqueuer

They manage to esacpe and regroup with the rest of the team preparing to fight Kang. This Hughie does with The Bad Guys, leading the charge with Mr.Wolf as they take on Kang as well as Black Noir

Defeating him, Hughie learns from Cavendish and Dakota that Stormfront and Solider Boy will be dealt with and that they'll see in due time, Hughie questions with Starlight what this is about respectively

House of Disenchanted Cards

Hughie decides to take a page from Mother's Milk and getting involved against Underwood, and works to investigate. He learns Bender had Dale Gribble work to get info needed and to bug the place. Hughie discovers Underwood tapped Bender's phonelines and goes with Starlight to warn him, though he gets trapped in Dreamland with them due to Underwood. Joined by Billy respectively, they reunite with Bender and Wile E and meet Mop Girl who they all join forces to stop Underwood and eventually meet Hero again.

The 7 manage to help take Dreamland back from Bad Bean and Underwood respsectively and help quell the Cartel for good.

En.Tropized

Part 1

The Boys are looking into a way to stop Victoria Neuman as she is on on her way to reach politics. Billy Butcher is suffering from something of his own situation going on which he had been feeling since his battle with Frank Underwood and the rest of the cartel

Mother Milk, Frenchie and Hughie all looking into some infomation to undercover a way to get the drop on Neuman. Frenchie considers an assassination on her though Hughie stops him from conisdering this, as he is still sure she should die

Hughie finds Bender who is in Town with the other Boys. Hughie tells Bender that he is hiring him for a job and that he needs Bender to investigate Vicky. Bender questions why not Marvin MIlk to do the job. M.M tells Bender that for all his skills, Vought and Neuman know who he is and Frenchie states that is why he can't attempt to kill her as well as Hughie insisting he can't. Bender asks what do they know on her, Hughie says he can tell Bender all about it.

Later Starlight arrives back and Hughie, M.M and Frenchie infrom her that Bender is on the case as Starlight tells them about Maeve. Hughie had Kimoko assist Bender to get where he needs to go and to set up their plan to help.

Billy is brought to a bed by Hughie and Starlight and they tell him about what happened with him. Billy admits he proably shouldn't have taken all those Temp V shots to them. Hughie questions why he even did it, Billy says he did so he can get the edge on the supes by leveling the playing field

Starlight says did he have to do so to deal with Underwood and his cartel group. Billy says he was just trying to bring them down as well to help Bender and Slade's teams. Starlight says that he will be coming soon or later back here as Hughie hired him to investigate Neuman. Billy is clear to feel that Bender and Slade might be able to help with his condition, even if they can't he is sure they can look into it.

Hughie and Starlight then sit down and talk privately about everything that is going down, and the hope they hopefully can have in all this. Hughie might be upset about Neuman, but he will do what he can to try and appeal to her, Starlight says that she knows him and he may get through or at least be how they stay safe as long as Hughie doesn't escalate.

Hughie set Bender and his friends to help investigate his former boss Victoria Neuman upon realizing she is the head popper and a supe who is tied to Vought. When Libby, Bender, Anti Cosmo, Dale and Wile E arrive back at his and the others's hideout. Hughie, Starlight and Frenchie all look into the files. Hughie admits that they knew this already but are still thankful of the investigation, Dale is quick to ask about Billy. Bender says he's not feeling too good due to something he did a bit ago.

Hughie and Kimiko explain that through language and sign language about Billy being on a time limit for being alive. Libby asks about what happened with, Bender explains it had to do with Compound V which AC and Wile E helped look into and he's got a little while to live.  

Billy Butcher sees Bender, Hughie, Starlight, Libby and Anti Cosmo and inquires to them if they found anything on Neuman. Hughie explains that they just found the usual but did find some useful stuff. Anti Cosmo does explain the situation that Neuman held on him and Bender, Bender says AC not to say anything about that, he doesn't want to talk about. Bender and Hughie decide to do their best to help Butcher with Hughie asking Bender for a way to help Butcher.

Hughie is called by Bender about outsourcing a job he took up from his friends Lydia and Lincoln as a quid pro quo for helping with Neuman. Bender asks if Hughie can look into a potential serial killer for him as he got a case of his own he's doing for some friends and with his hands being pretty full he'll need some help. Hughie asks about the cure for Butcher for his cancer and tumor, Bender says he has some inquries being worked on referring to Zix, Travoltron and Tee being on it.

Hughie hangs up with Starlight and Billy and explains that quid pro quo time has arrived and there going to do something for Bender's help. Butcher wanders what Hughie took without him knowing, Hughie informs Billy and Starlight there Bender needs some assistance with a serial killer who killed some of his friends of two of his and Luan's friends. Starlight takes what Bender gave Hughie and says that they have to give all this to Marvin so he can do looks into this.

Hughie, Starlight, Marvin and Frenchie all meet with Anti Cosmo and Bender and they talk about everything the duo found in their search. Both the Robot and the Anti Fairy note how what they did in China Town is coming to light due to Vicky and Marvin decides to investigate Bender and Anti Cosmo's actions to see if Neuman can find any traces of this knowledge.

Frenchie asks what's with the secrecy to the two, they're acting like Butcher which Marvin also notes. Bender tells the two that what happened now there is events he can't have anyone know about unless he wants it to as he doesn't want to remember himself. Anti Cosmo says that it's a senstivie topic for him, even most of his own friends don't even know  Starlight is curious how much the two and Slade have been involved in and Marvin says that since the two asked to find traces maybe he can do that too

Hughie, Bender, Anti Cosmo and Starlight then promise Butcher they will do what they can to help out. Billy does say that he will keep trying to fight despite all of this.

He then takes a call with Harry Wells with Starlight, who warns them of the Supes under Neuman's watch persumably to him as he managed to maintain his memories against Cate. Hughie is more sympathetic and advices Wells to watch his back as he may have dealt with metahumans, but these guys are unlike most and he doesn't even know them personally. Harry asks if Starlight knows them and Starlight confirms her history with Fire Cracker. Harrison snarks about how of course she did what did to Firecracker commenting on the cutthroat blonde stereotype, Starlight does feel some regret over this. Harrison asks if Hughie and Starlight have any advice, the two just say that to remember what Victoria can do against them, if she knows what them and Bender did down in Chinatown, then she must have been track of for a long time and the worst thing that they can do and should avoid is threatening her daughter as Hughie knows this better than anyone.

Hughie is left questioning how Vicky got a hold on them without Homelander's help, and who is aiding her since he is aware someone else is helping her.

Hughie is pondering himself about how much longer is he going to have deal with all this. He thought he was done with Vought, Kang, Eobard Thawne, Cartel and all that crap. Now he has to once again deal with something that is endangers his friends and himself where even his own allies and team mates are not fully aware of what they're dealing with.

Neuman instantly arrives on him and Hughie isn't happy to see her. Vicky reassures Hughie she isn't here to hurt him or his friends. Hughie tries to question about her what she has in mind for his friends and why go after them. Victoria questions why Hughie even still agreess to worked with Butcher and why sent Bender after her. Hughie admits he didn't want to endanger himself or even Vicky as The Boys would have come.

Victoria says that she needs to keep them off her back, and that His friends/associates are very much able to keep her down unlike most and this made her have to think. Hughie asks what dirt she has on Bender, Anti Cosmo, Slade and the others. Victoria asks if Hughie remembers when he worked with her and when they made that major discovery a long time ago, that is what she knows about as Anti Cosmo, Slade and Bender all were part of it. She had a hold of someone who could look and figure it out and she said she needed the best to go up against the trio considering that they killed Homelander.

Hughie is left in though as he leaves to return to the gang.

Frenchie explains how this is their one last mission for Butcher as they have had enough of Billy and his constant deceptions of them. This is a sentiment agreed by Marvin as well as his actions against Frank Underwood did so as Billy refused their help and it how took Marvin to have work with other people just to find out Billy went up against him with Hughie and Starlight without them.

Hughie didn't even know that Billy did this and questions why Billy did this, Billy informs he was only willing to get Hughie as well as Starlight as he felt he needed more help and Hughie's own skills. Starlight asks what took Hughie as long as it did to get back.

Hughie mentions to the Boys his meeting with Victoria  and what she told him. Starlight and Marvin seem to think it's odd that Vicky said something about this. Marvin still agrees that he will look into what Anti Cosmo and Bender have going on despite this and he will see if anyone did dig any dirt on the two.

Part 2

When it comes to the cases, Hughie decides to actively Bender, Anti Cosmo and unknown to them Lydia and Lincoln with the Team Free Will Massacre and teams up with Starlight to do this. They observe the files Bender gave them and decide to look into the 1st of the case and flew out to Aloha so they find out what happened to May as Lydia, Lincoln and Bender all knew that Dawn told Ford and in turn told them. It was also the last place they saw May so they suspect something happened that resulted in her death.

As he does do, he is called by Luan who informs Hughie of the trouble Bender might be in and since what happened to her last super hero costume due to a mishap with Benny she needs a new one and Hughie manages to get her his Web Weaver costume he would rather not remember what happened with it.

Upon Returning to the others, Hughie tells Billy that he and Annie went to Aloha to find traces of the Johto Princess May as she was reported among the cassualites of the Massacre he was given by Bender as a job and while he and Starlight didn't find her or any part of her. They did find something interesting that he would have to give Bender during one of their trips to the islands. Starlight feels that the attack was very co-ordinated as Hughie and her both learn from Billy about James Rogers's death at the Woods.

Part 3

Bender, Luan, Wile E and Libby manage to get a hold of the Boys and Starlight. Bender informs Hughie of the visit Neuman made at that bar me and Anti Cosmo were at. Hughie asks if she threatened the,  Bender says she didn't. Luan asks if he wants the costume back, Hughie says for her to keep it he doesn't want to remember that Web Weaver Costume. Libby is curious though Starlight and Marvin both tell Libby not to press it for Hughie.

Bender says that he learned about Red River and asks what does Hughie and Marvin know about it. Marvin says he'll investigate with Hughie with it and asks if Slade didn't do already. He says Anti Cosmo told him that, as Slade knows he's being watched and needed to send a message. Neuman told him and AC About it to some extent as well as Slade. Hughie isn't too suprised with how Vicky just showed up to chat with the two instead of threatening them

Hughie discusses what was found with Billy and Starlight, he shuts down the former's theory that Neuman killed James Rogers due it not being a typical way she kills and feels that someone could have killed The Rogers Kid. He shows Slade, Bender and Anti Cosmo what he and Starlight found at Aloha in regards to May's disappearance. He and The Boys find Dawn who managed to sneak into all this who further explains to them about what she had dealt with prior to the event. Starlight asks who Dawn is and learns she is a pokemon coordinator like May and is part of Team Free WIll. Hughie and Starlight interrograte Dawn about this thinking she had a role in this, though Dawn denies this as she was told of the Massacre and helped bury their bodies alongside the kids, who actually told her.

After Bender, Slade, Anti Cosmo and Dawn all take their leave Hughie, Marvin, Starlight and Billy decide on heading to Chinatown to continue the digging around ahead of sechulde as Billy can get a further find on the supe virus while Marvin can get those digging around cues in case Neuman is after them.

Part 4

Hughie recalling what he encountered in the Aether Foundation hacks into it to get an idea to how May was killed here, as it was proven she died there alongside Starlight so he can allow Bender to get into there to investigate. He is also called to get up to Bolsa's Ranch to help with this other detail as well. Getting called by Slade as well as Bender, Hughie decides to join up in heading to the ranch which he does with the Boys. In part to getting the Temp V and Compound V taken away from Vought

Hughie, Frenchie and Kimoko manage to insure the Aether Foundation is able to be broken into and investigated and hands Anti Cosmo the way to get into the Foundation due the fact it was abandoned a long time ago. The Boys head on their way to the ranch so they can assist Luan with what she wants to do.

Part 5

Luan, Marcy Wu, Bean, Captain Hero, Stan, Wendy, Dale, Hailey, Hughie, Billu, Frenchie, Kimoko all welcome Waul, Snart and Rory to the ranch and share between them what they are going to do here. How they will deal with the Vs as well what they're going to when it comes to Neuman and what they'll do.

Neuman however arrives with the intent to stop this and saying that it would work just fine if she wasn't aware of all this and says that she is suspicious Bender and Anti Cosmo when ahead with all this. Rabbid farm animals attack the ranch and scare all of them. With The Whole Group even Neuman showing shock as she told Zib not to do this. Neuman decides for this instance that they will have to team up to deal with this situation telling them that Zib must have went ahead with this.

Agreeing to this term, the entire group splits into six so they can deal with all the rest of the rabid farm animals on Compound and Temp V before they all get killed by what Zib went ahead with. Luan, Neuman, Stan, Wendy, Hughie, Billy all go their own ways with Luan defending Stan and Wendy as Stan is really trying to remember this deal with rabid animals before which leads into the rest having to know what happened here and Neuman's own secret going out. Hughie though did know of this as he admits to the kids

Hughie then helps Luan afterwards with Captain Hero basically destroy the V Drug of both permanent and temporary variety.

Finishing up and taking his leave with the Boys. Hughie talks on matters with Neuman with Starlight where Neuman has decided to allow them to throw compound V away pointing how dangerous it really is. Starlight questions why she backed off, Neuman has her reasons. Hughie and Starlight are pondering among themselves as how she knows of them being involved in the Massacre of Team Free Will aiding Bender and AC on this.

Part 6

Hughie and Starlight join up together again to decide they will aid Marvin Milk on their own terms by trying to figure out what happened with Neuman and why she is targeting Bender and Slade's group. Hughie does recall something but he needs to check at a old location for this which he tells Annie he must retread back to old territory thinking back to when he once worked with Neuman as an plan on this. Marvin, Hughie, Starlight, Frenchie and Kimoko all regather to discuss what Neuman could have on Bender and Slade's expoits and which one Neuman is placing MAD over their heads on as Marvin and Hughie both have their ideas on what had happened and why it has got the attention of Neuman that goes beyond instilling Professor Membrane in charge of Vought, though Hughie will do this later.

Part 7

Hughie and Starlight investigate The Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs (FBSA) and come up with the realization that the reason Neuman is hunting Bender, Luan, Slade and AC comes down to what they did down in Chinatown as he remembered something that he and Neuman found out a while ago in nuclear work and blasts did occur back then and that he did manage to help Vicky arrest a superhuman who died in jail. He also learns that Noir was involved too with this situation and that Russia was a place of interest which Bender and his friends went down and did something that got the attention of Vought.

This is confirmed when he and Starlight tell Marvin Milk, Frenchie and Kimoko about what they found at The Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs (FBSA) Marvin Milk, Frenchie and Kimoko managed to discover the actions that happened down in Russia that Bender, Slade, Anti Cosmo, Luan and the others go down into and involved and explain this to the team later on. This had to do with Solider Boy who was the previous big supe before Black Noir and Homelander. He also discovered Neuman pulled strings for a Gen V Student and the events that resulted in Sam and Cate's involvement with Vought.

Part 8

Hughie finds out where the Goodkin University is and where they are located now through Luan and learns more about the place from Marvin Milk who managed to undercover info on the university that was covered up further from what Bender and Slade figured out.

Hughie and Butcher ask Slade for help regarding what Bender, Anti Cosmo, Harry and Slade discovered at Goodkin University when it comes to the students who were framed as a result of Cate and Sam being praised as heroes. Slade agrees this and decides to get his allies to assist with all of this. Hughie and Starlight find Captain Hook, Jessie Wells and Sideshow Bob and with them the 5 of them manage to find the students that Vought placed away due to the unjustly crimes that Cate and Sam commited. The 5 notice they have being unconscious and decide to take them out to safety with Hughie looking for a safe way with Captain Hook and Sideshow Bob as Jessie and Starlight loose their restrains. Though this is when the alarm goes off due to what the team is doing and Hughie, Captain Hook, Sideshow Bob, Starlight and Jessie all show concern as the latter two were careful not to use their powers to alert attention.

Part 9

Working with the rest of Slade's crew they end up against B.P Richfield and Captain Putty and eventually gets Harry's help who arrives to assist them in getting the rest of the supes they found to a safe area. He is baffled that a dinosaur even still exists and questions how ridculous that a 3 horn dinosaur would eat people. Hughie after wards ask Harry about what is going down with the others and is told about the party Tek Knight is holding at the manor. He knows he has to do something and asks Harry for help to get there and he gets it.

Hughie arrives alone when the Tek Knight Manor is burning up due to Troy's overdosing of Compound V and assists Toby and AAARRRGGGHH to looking for their friends, he is able to find Bender and Anti Cosmo as they escape with Nasesala's help where Hughie wants to talk to Neuman even talking the two out of trying to kill her when them, Lydia, Lincoln, Toby, AAARRRGGHH, Will and Amy corner her and they hook her to a lie detector to get the info they really need.

After letting her go, Hughie stays with Bender and Anti Cosmo as well as The Team to encounter Tom Lucifor who warns them that they all in grave danger and that Neuman's boss will be attempting the end of the world down in Mexico, leaving him, Bender and AC to ponder what their next move will be with Lincoln and Lydia due to their own high involvement here. He tells Starlight as well of what he did learn from this warning he had with Tom and Jack Sullivan. Hughie also learns about the Shetty Virus useage from Butcher from Leonard and Mick as well which has growing a bit suspicious of Butcher.

Chapter 4

With Neuman's disappearance, Hughie goes with the rest of the Boys as well as Maeve and A-Train to try and discover her and her ties to whoever is in charge. Through this they also end up dealing with the Vought allies that are creeping up on them through Tek Knight's take over. With Butcher and Starlight's return and they decide to go find Bender and get his help.

Chapter 5

Butcher disappears on his own term, which leads to Hughie and the rest of the group go find Bender and Slade eventually. He is told about what is going to happen with Ucumu and that they must find Team Free Will and the Streaming Resistance. Upon doing so and seeing Neuman, Hughie stops Bender, Slade and the others from trying to kill her as he agrees with Lydia and Lincoln that they could use her help with what's ahead. Butcher arrives and while Hughie seems relieved he will be helping them, this fades when he tries to kill Neuman with his powers.

Chapter 6

Realizing Ucumu had got his hands on Butcher and unleashed his most negative side where he rips Neuman in half which has him and the rest of the Boys join sides with Bender and Slade to try and beat out the curse out of Butcher. This ends being a hard battle between them all until Hughie has to take the stand to protect his friends from Butcher and manages to be the one to ultimately beat the demon out of him. Though Hughie execrises the demon, Butcher is still near death and he is thankful Hughie managed to beat him.

Because of Butcher's brutal fight with the Boys, it leaves them all vulerable to Sam and Cate under Tek Knight who end up kidnapping the Boys. Hughie is able to escape though unexpectingly and finds Mr.Wolf who resuced Hughie from Cate and Sam and that the Bad Guys and Guardians of Goodkin are here to help Hughie save his team from Tek Knight and his boss.

Book 2: Interlude

Hughie was kept in the Bad Guys's base to insure that no one tries to capture him, since Vought is still intent to capture him under Tek Knight. Hughie does manage to find A-Train thanks to the rest of the Bad Guys and discovers he was also in hiding as well.

He also meets the Gen V students, that he, Bender, Slade all had some role in trying to save and that there was a mysterious benefactor that helped them nurse back to health. Hughie also discovers that one of them died to the torture endured after what happened due to Sam and Cate's havoc earlier.

With him learning that Deathstroke has a mission for him and The Bad Guys, as they are trying to find what happened due to a frame up job that has been placed on Bender. Hughie and Bender both debate the possibiltiy of whoever they are investigating is trying to silence them and Anti Cosmo. Hughie agrees as Annie's kidnapping might be have just been that.

Being informed of the mirror world, Hughie joins the others in going there in trying to assemble the mirror verse as a result of the chaos that happened. He discovers that his team was imprisoned here and aids in rescuing them. Hughie asks them of what has happened and if they saw anything, with the help of Webs, He is able to find out N.Tropy is the one behind everything here. Hughie also notes how N.Tropy was part of the Team Free Will Massacre with Starlight, learning that N.Tropy had her tortured and that he was behind a lot of the previous actions as well.

Telling the main group themselves, Hughie and the rest of the Boys manage to regroup them and helps save M.O.D.A.B as much of the inhabitants as possible from Mornado's prison. Hughie's brief time with the Boys again comes to a shocking end when Rodirgo Redneb ends up killing them and causing him and Starlight to escape considering how dangerous he is.

With Emma, Hughie also discovers that The Louds minus Lincoln and Luan were abudcted in a dangerous asylum as well as Mulder and Scully who were arrested to be confined as part of N.Tropy's plans for revenge against Team Free Will's main group. He, Mr.Wolf and Starlight all have to find some way to deal with this with Deathstroke being on the run due to Tek Knight.

Book 3: Culmination

Annie and Hughie with the rest of the Bad Guys join rank with Dib, Lizbeth and their own teams to follow suit to find a way to help Deathstroke regain his spots and get out of hiding as well following his lead to keep N.Tropy and his associates from getting their hands on more power all the while they discover their future with the others. Hughie is skepical of leaving Bender and Slade on their own since how much N.Tropy's henchmen are hunting them down as well as the death of the rest of the team. He does however show relief that the two are fine.
