Henry J. Waternoose III, more commonly known as Mr. Waternoose, is the overarching antagonist of the Disney Pixar animated Monsters, Inc. franchise. He serves as the overarching antagonist of Pixar's 4th full-length animated feature film Monsters Inc. and a minor character in Monsters University and Monsters at Work.
He is the former chairman of the company, as well as being the former boss of James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski and Randall's former boss and unwitting pawn.
He was voiced by the late James Coburn (who died in 2002 shortly after Monsters Inc. was released in 2001), who also played Looten Plunder in Captain Planet and the Planeteers
