"I did not change for your sake. I did it for my sake and for everyone else worthy to live on forever, because of your foolish resolve to end the existence of the world we preserved. You don't deserve to live because of your miserable endless desire, you know that? My victim, Nimrod, becomes unworthy to live because of his selfish ambition to rule the throne of the Heavens non-existent future world he desires. You think you'd do the same? You've become weak as hell, Ara Astaroth, because, you're path will fall for what you've done in the past, and you won't underestimate the power of our preservation of balance. I don't care if you despise our "stupid" justice and honor. But you will never understand what it takes for us to uphold our eternal lives. In this life now... In the life you took Heles from me, you lost, blockhead." |

Despite all that has happened in the past, I have nothing to fear from the evil existing beneath the shadows, and it's hope that's gotten us this far. I will protect those whom I ever wanted to protect, and I will do anything in my power for the sake of others if necessary. No matter what, I will always stand to change fate for our worlds, and will always believe in the path I chose today, at the bottom of my own heart.
Heles Hermes, also known by the name of Elsa Tathagata Killer at the year of 2036 A.D. is a major antagonist of LOTM: Sword of Gods first appearing as an antagonist in Yuri Barnes' mini-arc history before becoming the main heroine of his backstory, which resulted in her reformation and finally becoming a true heroine before her death by the hands of her own superior, Ara Astaroth. As such, she is the predecessor of Vira Hermes as the Second-in-Command of Revelation of Qliphoth. She is a female Human-Demon Hybrid who was the second child of her unnamed abusive parents and first sister of her unnamed brother. Heles was born in an alternative Earth of the 0th Multi-Universe, in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by the Cold War between United States and Sovietic Union.
After the death of her brother that saved her from her abusive parents, Heles escaped from her hometown and committed suicide to escape from that cruel reality when she was just 5-years old. However, before her soul could be send to the Otherworld, Ara Astaroth appeared before her and gave her another chance to restart her life as a Black Demon while vowing her life and loyalty to Ara and her cause. In her time as a Jikininki, Heles became the first Vice-Supreme Commander and General of Revelation of Qliphoth and the first member of Hermes clan of Hell to work alongside Ara thanks to her impressive intelligence and abilities with Black Arts.
As the Vice-Commander and General of Ara's armada, Heles also became the first 1st Espada of Astaroth army and was tasked by Ara herself to go to the 0th Multi-Universe to put the entire Multi-Universe under the control of Qliphoth while wiping out all mortals from all universes, galaxies and planets in cold-blood, which resulted in the death of quintillions. However, in truth, Heles believed her actions were for the greater good of the existence as she always believed Ara was saving the universe from destruction and leading it to peace by getting rid of all wicked mortals destroying the beauty of the worlds.
Several millennia later, Heles was sent to Prime Earth during its Bronze Age where her forces began its quest to destroy all humans of the Europe and Asia continent; what caused Roma, Egypt, Greece and many other ancient empires to engage in wars to defeat the Blackness; a war that served of great use to Scathach to begin the unification of mankind. Aware of Scathach's presence, Heles challenged the Zoyineian demon to a "war-game" and allowed Scathach to give humans the power of magic and anti-darkness skills to fight against her army. A challenge that Scathach easily accepted but the outcome of this war was the death of 200,000,000 people throughout history. After many decades, Heles was informed by Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti about the new country of Babylon and their mysterious Tower of Babel that was emitting powerful waves of anti-darkness magic. Fearing it was another of Scathach's tricks, Heles personally went to investigate but was accidentally discovered by Yuri Barnes, one of the two rulers of the country, leading her to fight the young and arrogant magician and defeating him. Before she could finish him off, Ara ordered to investigate the tower from inside. This made Heles save Yuri's life rather than killing him right away.
While disguised as his "heroine" who saved the life of the young king, Heles investigated the tower and reported all her actions to Ara Astaroth. However, during her investigations, she began to feel comfortable around Yuri Barnes, awakening her childish side she forgot for thousand years. After one year living with Yuri and Nimrod, the two developed feelings for each other and declared their love with a kiss during one of Yuri's training sections. However, what no one was expecting was that Nimrod, Yuri's best friends, also developed sick and twisted feelings for Heles' body that slowly lead him to insanity. Noticing that Heles stopped commanding her army and sending reports, Ara and Petelgeuse discovered Heles' human side awakened and that she had betrayed them to live peacefully with Yuri Barnes as his "teacher" of Black Arts.
For being the servant, Ara went to Prime Earth to punish Heles for her treason and gave her another chance to come to her side. Obviously, Heles refused since she found someone to love and protect. Naturally, Ara and Heles fought in a war that changed the sharp of the Iraq's geography and the course of Earth. However, it was more than obvious that Ara was not even 1% of her power, which lead Heles to accept her death if it wasn't for Yuri who interrupted their fight and helped Heles to defeat Ara after a death battle with his own brother, Nimrod, who planned to kill Yuri to have Heles for himself.
Despite their efforts to defeat Ara, Heles and Yuri were defeated and as punishment for her stupid effort to resist her Queen, Ara tried to execute Heles with her own axe but was fooled by Heles, who declared her love to Yuri before sacrificing herself by using her physical body to suck out all of Ara's Blackness and energy, leaving the Demon Queen weak to the point that she could not even stand. However, such act resulted in Heles' physical body being destroyed thanks to Ara's insane immeasurable power.
More than 620,000 years later, during the events of LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow it was revealed that Heles returned to Prime Earth using her soul to reincarnate in the body of a normal human woman. Born in the tyrannical state of Godom Empire, Heles was named as Elsa Granhiert before renaming herself to Elsa Tathagata Killer soon after she became an assassin of Emperor Tathagata Killer herself. Her mission this time is to find her one and true love, Yuri Barnes, in this chaotic and cruel world that Third World War destroyed.
Personality[]

Heles comforting Nimrod
Heles' personality is dangerous and alluring. She's an elite demon with the pseudonym "Partner Killer" given the mysterious happenings of her personal servants dying one by one once they start to work with her. She appears to be playful towards Yuri Barnes and sometimes shows some sense of humor; even so, she follows her duties as the Vice-Commander of Ara Astaroth.
In duty, she is much more mature, composed, logical, sophisticated, and intelligent than her childish child that constantly shown her immature and cute side towards Yuri. She is also relatively level-headed in terms of how to fight, stating that if one's excuse for a battle is to fight out of hatred, prejudice, or simple competition, as Vira Hermes does, then it is merely instinctual and animalistic, and that it makes the challenger look "childish," "unworthy," and "not much of a warrior". Though Heles has proven during her last few minutes as a full-fledged Black Demon that it is 'acceptable' when it involves vengeance, she does not view even that as a reason to fight. Unlike many of the Jikininki, Heles is somewhat pacifistic, and according to her armada, has despised engaging in combat even when she was still among the upper ranks of the Revelation of Qliphoth, unless it involves self-defense and protecting those dear to her heart. She refuses to finish off weaker or injured opponents, and will stop fighting them once they've been disabled or incapacitated.
During her numerous fights with Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti, Heles is relatively calm and silent when fighting, preferring to speak only when spoken to, a rather uncommon trait among most Black Demons. She enjoys reading, and often reads a book after her missions or after waiting for Petelgeuse to wake up after their recent battle.
Heles is a loyal, respectful, and trustworthy warrior, who will diligently follow the orders of her commander, provided said commander has proven his worth. She's also knowledgeable, analytical, easygoing, fairly compassionate (usually towards her friends), humorous in her own right, and exhibits a cheerful, energetic demeanor when off-duty.
Physical Appearance[]
The Hermes clan is known for having the most beautiful women in Hell, and Heles like her successor, Vira Hermes, is not an exception. Heles was considered to be the "Beauty of Hell" during her time working to Ara and could lead any men of the world to madness, love and lust with her appearance.
Heles has very long wavy purple hair with one bang covering her left eye, purple eyes, full lips, large breasts and well-shaped thighs. She wears black armor that exposes her cleavage and groin, showing off her black panties and leaving her buttocks visible. She also wears armored black thigh-length high-heel boots and a tiara.
History[]

Baby Heles
Heles and her brother, were raised by a drunken father and a prostitute mother in a Post-Apocalyptic world caused by a nuclear war during the Cold War (in a parallel Earth), who always argued and beat their children. Fearing that their parents would kill Heles, in the March that her brother turned eighteen, he ran away with Heles, who was three years old, and raised her on his own from then on.
For nine years, Heles and her brother lived in harmony despite the fact that Heles suffered many rape attempts of perverted men who were walking around the destroyed region of their town to find food and women. One day, Sora gave Heles a pair of hairpins. However, Heles refused to wear them because she said they were childish. That day, her brother died, and Heles began wearing the hairpins every day since. After the brother's death, Heles prayed for him every day.

Ara watches over Heles
A year after her brother died, Heles met a female Black Demon who was watching over the moon on the top of a destroyed building and befriended her and the amount of days she prayed for him diminished. Unlike other people, Heles did not show fear once she spotted the Black Demon, instead, she considered humans to be even more scarier. At some point, the Black Demon tried to eat Heles by instincts but she stopped herself from attacking Heles.
After that night, the female demon decided to stay away from Heles to keep her safe. However, little did she know that her leave caused Heles to suffer from depression and many months later she committed suicide by hanging herself to escape from that hopeless world. However, before her soul could enter into the Dead Planet of the Existence, Ara revived her as a Black Demon because she already suffered enough in the dark side of the world and brought Heles to Qliphoth where she trained the young one to be a military strategist and a powerful warrior of her army.
Physical Abilities & Powers[]
Techniques[]
Range of Hele' blast
- Energy Blast – The most basic form of energy wave.
- Black Blast Deflect – Heles uses this technique for deflecting upcoming enemy attacks, it works to magic and technological attacks.
- Magic Materialization – Heles can create weapons out of nowhere with which to fight her opponents. During her battle with Katarina, she conjures a sword and later she creates a spear.
- Evil Flame – A short length stream of fire which is shot from the mouth.
- Afterimage Strike – The ability to move so quickly that an image of the technique's user is left behind.
- Evil Impulse – A large sphere of dark energy, fired from one hand.
- Telekinesis – Heles is shown able to easily manipulate large quantities of matter, quickly launching them with great force.
- Stone Spit – Heles gathers saliva in her mouth and spits it on an opponent who then turns to lifeless stone. The victims are only released upon Heles' death or when she decide when to release them.
- Telepathy – Although this could be due to her connection with Leohart, she is able to contact her master through her mind from another world without anyone else noticing.
- Evil Spear – Heles throws a spear into her opponent, stabbing him with it.
- Sword Blast – A wave of energy channeled through his sword.
- Cape Swing – Heles slices through the air with her claws to create a streak of sharp energy lines that can slice nearly anything.
- Darkness Sword Attack – Heles' Ultimate Blast; it is a rushing attack where Heles creates a sword using Magic Materialization and uses it to attack her opponent, slashing them multiple times then uses it to knock them away. She then flies towards them with tremendous speed and immediately stops right in front of the opponent (just as they are recovering from the earlier attack), then she blasts them right in the face.
- Hell Rusher – Heles summon a small dimension that is part of Hell's 5th Floor and creates a shield around it, preventing anyone from outside entering on it. Heis and Ara Astaroth have a similar ability.
- Dark Sword Slash – Heles presses her hand against the chest of the enemy and sends several black energy to their veins, creating dozens of small blades of energy inside of their bodies.
- Upper Cutter – Heles charges forward for a second and uppercuts the opponent.
Heles using Fiery Wall on civilians
- Fury Blade – Heles uses her sword to slash her opponent in the heart and taking control of his body, turning him into a zombie-puppet under her command.
- Double Fury – Heles performs two sword slashes with his sword to cut enemies in half.
- Energy Breath – Heles fires an energy ball from her mouth.
- Meteo Lance Slicer – Heles' meteor attack She throws several spears consecutively at her opponent, and finishes with a sword slash.
- Hate Ray Cannon – A Renzoku Energy Dan technique used against Vira. Heles traps the opponent inside of a fire ball and blasts it with a energy wave, unleashing a continent-like explosion.
- Hate Dancing – Heles dances on the air, spreading dead poison of her bird skull in her hood.
- Hell Blow Shoot – Heles kicks the opponent up in the air, then she kicks them more in mid-air and punches them down again, and finally Heles kicks her opponent in the back when she is down.
- Demonic Will – A powered-up state where Heles raises her power significantly and gets a black aura to surround her.
- Evil Sword Rush - Heles' signature attack, she turns her sword in a spear of black energy that will corrupt the enemy, turning him into a demon.
- Magic Regeneration - Heles is capable of regenerating his wounds through magic.
- Teleportation - Heles is able to teleport using magic.
- Evil Sensing - Heles is capable of sensing the evil within people's hearts, such as when she was able to recognize the latent darkness within Katarina's heart. This ability may be due to Heles' demonic traces.
- Hell Gate Slasher - Heles summons a Gate of Hell and sucks the physical body of the enemy to the 2nd Floor of Hell.
Demonic magic[]
- Ranbu - A technique where black art kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and then expelled from the mouth in a continuous stream of flames. By then combining this stream with the distorting effects of Satan's Eye, it results in the creation of a massive vortex of fire that spirals progressively outward, as it is propelled forwards at great speed.
- Izanagi - Izanagi is a illusion that is cast on the user instead of others and is the most powerful amongst this type of illusion. When activated, the caster removes the boundaries between reality and illusion within their personal space. To a degree this allows the user to control their own state of existence, but it is normally only active for the briefest of moments. While the user remains physically real while fighting, this technique is capable of turning any occurrence including injuries and even death inflicted upon themselves while the technique is active into mere "illusions". Whenever the user receives a fatal injury, he or she automatically fades away as though they were an illusion all along and then returns back to reality; physically real and unscathed.
- DEVA PATH - The Deva Path grants the user the ability to manipulate attractive and repulsive forces with objects and people. These gravity manipulating techniques, however, cannot be performed in rapid succession; the amount of time required to recharge after use varies depending on the scale of the technique used. The Deva Path also grants another ability: "Punishment" which allows the user to create a huge makeshift terrestrial body from all the surrounding matter that is attracted to a black sphere released by this technique.

Axe of Yggdrasil[]

Heles with the Axe of Yggdrassil
The Axe of Yggdrasil is one of the few Holy Weapons that is currently under the protection of Triggers Hell as such weapons are extremely deadly to demons.
The main ability of the axe is called Death in Two Steps. As its first step, Heles strikes her enemy with the Axe's blade. In addition to creating a rather deep wound, the attack leaves a butterfly-shaped stamp on the victim’s body. Spreading from the center of the wound, known as Hōmonka, this stamp becomes the target of Heles' second attack. If struck in the same spot that was hit the first time, the person will inevitably die, and thus illustrate "Death in Two Steps."
When the ability takes effect, a larger crest quickly spreads out from the two smaller ones, completely destroying the victim's body. The crests are maintained by Heles' will, and are impossible to remove unless she wills it.

Quotes[]

- "'I will not forgive those who hurt Yuri"
- "One who possesses reason should require a reason to fight."
- "You are a beast. I cannot accept you as a warrior. I have no desire to be burdened with the life of one who is no warrior."
- "You lack motivation and reason, Nimrod. This is why you lost to me. That's all. The only thing you have in your heart is arrogance."
- "Carrying a weapon on your shoulder is threatening behavior. If you truly wish to appear strong, hide your weapon as you walk."
- "I'm sorry Sir Astaroth... I fear I cannot move myself nor obey your orders. It's just that I found someone to love and protect... This is my new chance to protect my beloved one. Where I failed protecting my brother, I can now save Darling's life from you. I'M OFFICIALLY LEAVING THE REVELATION OF QLIPHOTH!"

Trivia[]
- Heles is the first Jikininki of the entire existence and history of CIS Productions' Multi-Universe as Ara Astaroth only saved Heles because she wanted to test new forms of "evolution" of Black Demons.
- Despite Heles is more disciplined and composed than her successor, Vira Hermes, Heles is actually just like the other groups of demons; she is only the First Generation of her faction. In Hell, it's normal for legions and clans change their leaders each 1,000,000 years once a new and more powerful member of the clan is born, giving the post of superior to the newcomer. Meaning no matter how intelligent or mature Heles is, Vira is superior to her in everything.
- Heles is the only known Black Demon that managed to return from the dead without help of exterior forces... The reason of how she escaped from her fate is unknown as well but it's more implied it was pure determination to meet Yuri again.
- Heles is also the first Black Demon of the entire history to have a love affair with a mortal, a human; someone that their leader Ara Astaroth, despises with all her might.
- Heles' name seems to be taken from the Spanish for sherry (jerez); however, it might also be directly taken from the German light beer helles.
Real-Life inspirations[]
Pedro Rodrigues Filho[]

Pedro Rodrigues Filho (born 17 June 1954 in Santa Rita do Sapucaí) is a Brazilian serial killer. Nicknamed Pedrinho Matador (Killer Petey) and arrested in 1973, in 2003 he was convicted of murdering at least 71 people and sentenced to 128 years in prison.
Pedro Rodrigues Filho was born on a farm in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, southern Minas Gerais state, with an injured skull, the result of beatings his father had inflicted upon his mother's womb during a fight. Filho said his first urge to kill happened at the age of 13. During a fight with an older cousin, he pushed the boy into a sugar cane press. The boy almost died.
At the age of 14, he murdered the vice-Mayor of Alfenas, Minas Gerais, because he fired his father, a school guard, at the time accused of stealing the school kitchen's food. Then he murdered another guard, supposedly the real thief.
He took refuge in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, where he began a series of burglaries and murdered a drug dealer. There he also met Maria Aparecida Olympia, a woman he then lived with. They lived together until she was killed by some gang members. Filho escaped. In search of revenge for her death, he murdered and tortured several people in an attempt to find out the identity of the gangster who killed Olympia. Before he was 18 years old he had already left a trail of 10 bodies and several injured.
Still in Mogi das Cruzes, he executed his own father at a local prison, after his father butchered his mother with a machete. To get revenge, Filho killed his father, cut out a piece of his heart, chewed it, and threw it away.
Filho was first arrested on May 24, 1973. He was sentenced to prison and killed at least 4 inmates while incarcerated. He later claimed a total of 100 victims. His total confirmed victims are 71, including his father. In 2003, he was sentenced to 128 years in prison, although Brazilian law system prohibits anyone from spending more than 30 years behind bars. But due to the crimes he committed inside the prison, his sentence was changed to over 400 years in prison. However, he was set to be released by the Justice System in 2007, and after 34 years in prison, he was released on April 24, 2007. Information from the Brazilian National Security Force Intel indicates that he went to Brazilian north-east, more precisely, to Fortaleza in Ceará. On September 15, 2011, local media from Santa Catarina published that Filho had been arrested at his home, in the rural area, where he worked as a house-keeper, at Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina coastline. According to a news channel, he will serve time for accusations such as riot and false imprisonment.
Besides the number of killings, Filho became notorious in Brazil for promising the murder of other criminals, such as Francisco de Assis Pereira, a.k.a. The Park Maniac, another serial killer.
Amon Göth[]

Amon Göth (December 11, 1908 - September 13, 1946) was a Nazi war criminal and Captain of the SS, he oversaw the concentration Camp at Płaszów and was executed by hanging for his part in the murder of tens of thousands of innocent people.
Göth gained renewed infamy for his portrayal in the film Schindler's List where he acted as the main antagonist, his cruel and sociopathic behavior in the film earned him a high-ranking on the "List Of Top 50 Film Villains Of All Time" and ranked as the highest non-fictional villain in that list.
On 13 September 1944, Göth was relieved of his position as Commandant of Płaszów and was assigned to the SS Office of Economics and Administration. Shortly thereafter, in November 1944, Göth was charged with theft of Jewish property (which, according to Nazi legislation, belonged to the Reich), and was arrested by the Gestapo. He was scheduled for an appearance before SS judge Georg Konrad Morgen, but due to the progress of World War II, and Germany's looming defeat, a tribunal was never assembled and the charges against him were summarily dismissed.
He was next assigned to Bad Tölz, Germany, where he was quickly diagnosed by SS doctors as suffering from mental illness and diabetes. He was committed to a sanatorium where he was arrested by American troops in May 1945. At the time of his arrest, Göth claimed to have been recently promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer and, during later interrogations, several documents listed him as "SS-Major Göth". Rudolf Höß was also of the opinion that Göth had been promoted and, when called to give testimony at Göth's trial, indicated that Göth was an SS-Major in the Concentration Camp service.
Göth's service record, however, does not support the claim of a late war promotion and he is listed in most texts as having only held the rank of SS-Hauptsturmführer equivalent of a Captain.
So terrible was Göth that when Mila Pfefferberg, a surviving Schindler Jew, was introduced to Fiennes while on the set of the film, she began to shake uncontrollably in terror, as Fiennes—while in full SS-Hauptsturmführer uniform—reminded her of the real Göth.
Jihadi John[]

Mohammed Emwazi (born Muhammad Jassim Abdulkarim Olayan al-Dhafiri; Arabic: محمد جاسم عبد الكريم عليان الظفيري; 17 August 1988 – 12 November 2015) was a British Arab believed to be the person seen in several videos produced by the Islamic extremist group ISIL showing the beheadings of a number of captives in 2014 and 2015. A group of his hostages nicknamed him "John" since he was part of a four-person terrorist cell with English accents whom they called "The Beatles"; the press later began calling him "Jihadi John". On 12 November 2015, US officials reported that Emwazi had been hit by a drone strike in Raqqa, Syria. His death was confirmed by ISIL in January 2016.
Emwazi was born Muhammad Jassim Abdulkarim Olayan al-Dhafiri on 17 August 1988 in Kuwait as the eldest of five children to Jassem and Ghaneyah Emwazi. The family, who were Bedoon of Iraqi origin, lived in the town of Al Jahra, before moving to the United Kingdom in 1994 when he was six. They settled in inner west London, moving between several properties in Maida Vale, later living in St John's Wood and finally in Queen's Park. Emwazi attended St Mary Magdalene Church of England primary school, and later Quintin Kynaston School.
In 2006, he went to the University of Westminster, studying Information Systems with Business Management. He secured a lower second-class BSc (Hons) on graduation three years later. At age 21, he worked as a salesman at an IT company in Kuwait and was considered by his boss as the best employee the company ever had.
Soulfikar[]

Soulfikar was the personal executioner of Mahomet IV during the Ottoman Empire and killed up to three people every day for five years - he killed at least 4,000 people and threw their bodies into the Bosphorus A horrific aspect of his "career" is that he never used any instruments of torture and death to do so: he personally strangled each and every victim to death with his bare hands.
As if this was not terrifying enough, if the condemned was a Grand Vizier, it was the custom for Ottoman executioners to race the victims across the royal gardens to the place of execution - if the Grand Vizier won, he would be banished instead of being executed: yet Soufliker never lost a race and still had the strength to strangle every victim he beat at the race.
Che Ghevara[]

Ernesto "Che" Guevara (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈtʃe ɣeˈβaɾa] June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967) was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat, and military theorist. A major figure of the Cuban Revolution, his stylized visage has become a ubiquitous counter-cultural symbol of rebellion and global insignia in popular culture.
As a young medical student, Guevara traveled throughout South America and was radicalized by the poverty, hunger, and disease he witnessed. His burgeoning desire to help overturn what he saw as the capitalist exploitation of Latin America by the United States prompted his involvement in Guatemala's social reforms under President Jacobo Árbenz, whose eventual CIA-assisted overthrow at the behest of the United Fruit Company solidified Guevara's political ideology. Later, while living in Mexico City, he met Raúl and Fidel Castro, joined their 26 July Movement, and sailed to Cuba aboard the yacht, Granma, with the intention of overthrowing Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. Guevara soon rose to prominence among the insurgents, was promoted to second-in-command, and played a pivotal role in the victorious two-year guerrilla campaign that deposed the Batista regime.
Following the Cuban Revolution, Guevara performed a number of key roles in the new government. These included reviewing the appeals and firing squads for those convicted as war criminals during the revolutionary tribunals, instituting agrarian land reform as minister of industries, helping spearhead a successful nationwide literacy campaign, serving as both national bank president and instructional director for Cuba’s armed forces, and traversing the globe as a diplomat on behalf of Cuban socialism. Such positions also allowed him to play a central role in training the militia forces who repelled the Bay of Pigs Invasion and bringing the Soviet nuclear-armed ballistic missiles to Cuba which precipitated the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. Additionally, he was a prolific writer and diarist, composing a seminal manual on guerrilla warfare, along with a best-selling memoir about his youthful continental motorcycle journey. His experiences and studying of Marxism–Leninism led him to posit that the Third World's underdevelopment and dependence was an intrinsic result of imperialism, neocolonialism, and monopoly capitalism, with the only remedy being proletarian internationalism and world revolution. Guevara left Cuba in 1965 to foment revolution abroad, first unsuccessfully in Congo-Kinshasa and later in Bolivia, where he was captured by CIA-assisted Bolivian forces and summarily executed. Many people also need to come to grips with the crimes against humanity that Che Guevara and his fellow guerilla soldiers committed against Cuban civilians to achieve victory and secure authoritarian rule under the Castro brothers. Learning the truth will debunk the mythology the regime uses to indoctrinate the Cuban people and hold them back from asserting their human rights.
Che was a cold-hearted killer, who, even before his revolutionary days in Cuba, revealed to his parents his psychopathic personality. He wrote to his father that he had discovered he loved to kill. He wrote to his mother that “I am all the contrary of a Christ.” The Cuban revolution provided Che an outlet and pretext for acting on his psychosis. He boasted, for example: “A revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate.”
Fictional inspirations[]
Ashi[]

Ashi was the tertiary antagonist turned deuteragonist of the fifth season of Samurai Jack on Adult Swim. She started out as one of the Daughters of Aku who were trained to slay Samurai Jack. But later, after being rescued by Jack and seeing the truth about Aku, she decides to tag along on Jack's quest. She later becomes Jack's love interest and later fiancee. She is voiced by Tara Strong, who has voiced several other animated female characters.
Ashi seemed to possess a curiosity about the outside world, especially when she was younger, and developed into a cunning strategist. She was clever enough to go after the archers first in her final test, making the task much easier. Like the rest of her sisters, she possess little to no knowledge of the outside world in which she doesn't know what a deer is and assumes a male deer is Aku's minion due to its antlers. When she begins to question if Jack is truly evil, she demands he teach her and becomes impatient when he tells her to wait until the next morning. She also asks him questions like where the stars come from, further implying her love for nature and her abundant curiosity. A hallucination of her mother once referred to her as weak because she was often distracted and unfocused. She also doesn't comprehend the sense of decency, as when her clothing was eaten by Lazarus 92 leaving her naked once more, she doesn't mind and was confused by Jack's embarrassment seeing her in such condition.
She also find Jack's reminder that male and female private parts are personal does not make sense. Jack presumably taught her several concepts and terms during their relationship afterwards, as she understand the concept of marriage and living her role as Jack's wife. Furthermore, she initially does not understand the concept of love and compassion, initially seeing the loving bond between a deer couple as madness due to the fact that she (like her sisters) assumed the stag will devour the doe. This was also seen when she and her sisters did not mourn the first of their sisters to die by Jack's hand, reciting their mother's words "death is failure".
In addition, like Jack, she tends to suffer from her conscience haunting her (in the form of her mother), reminding her to kill the samurai. This part of her conscience seems to stem from the abuse she received from her mother along with being indoctrinated since birth to kill the samurai. Still, she has an emotional breakdown after witnessing all of her sisters die before her and failing to kill Jack. This is likely due to her being raised to kill Jack under the extreme and violent tutelage of her mother, who raised them to think of failure as the pinnacle of disgrace and something that was an impossible occurrence. Her breakdown also likely stemmed from her shock at being defeated by Jack, someone she was raised to see herself and her sisters as inherently superior to (implying she is prideful and a little arrogant, which could have partially led to her downfall). Also, in Episode XCVI, when the Dominator taunts how easy it is to manipulate children and turn them into weapons, she reacts angrily, implying she has unresolved feelings towards the abuse she endured from her mother along with her sisters' deaths.
Kovu[]

Kovu is the deuteragonist of the 1998 film The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and a guest character in it's 2016 midquel series The Lion Guard. He is the second son and youngest child of Zira, Scar's adoptive son, Nuka and Vitani's younger brother, Simba and Nala's son-in-law, Scar's heir and Kiara's best friend and later, her husband. He is voiced by Ryan O'Donaugh as a cub and Jason Marsden (who also plays Max Goof) as an adolescent (Gene Miller, singing).
Kovu has auburn fur and green eyes. As a cub, he had a dark brown tuft of hair on his head. As an adolescent, this tuft grows into a mane which stops at top of his chest. His most distinguishing feature is the scar over his left eye, which he got from Zira after she blamed him for Nuka's death.
Kovu was born sometime near the end of Scar's reign over the Pride Lands to Zira (who already had two other cubs: Nuka and Vitani) and an unknown lion and was hand chosen by Scar to be his heir. Sometime after Kovu's birth, Scar's nephew Simba returned to the Pride Lands and battled and defeated Scar and reclaimed his rightful title as King, before banishing Kovu, his mother, siblings and several other lionesses who were loyal to Scar, to the Outlands.
Megara[]

Megara, or Meg for short, is the tritagonist of Disney's Hercules and the love interest and later wife of Hercules. She is voiced by Susan Egan. She is a slender lady with long dark auburn hair tied into a high ponytail with its most notable feature being the curly bangs on the tip. She has purple eyes with mascara of the same color applied to her eyelids. She wears a lavender Greek dress with golden straps, a long skirt, and a purple sash around her waist; she wears a pair of sandals to match with the style of her dress.
Megara is beautiful, independent and quick-witted, but also cynical and world-weary, making her atypical among Disney's lead females and plays enough of a heroic part in the movie to be classed as a heroine, rather than just a romantic interest. She has a sarcastic sense of humor which really annoys the heck out of people.
While Hercules falls for her at first sight, far from falling for him on the spot, she went to Hades and she told him that she didn't bring the Centaur to his army. She went to Thebes telling Hercules that Pain and Panic were in the gorge. Megara watched Hercules defeat the Hydra and was proud of it. Hades had a trick up his sleeve; he would use Meg as his pawn to find a weakness in Hercules so she could be free from that nasty old Hades. Meg did find a weakness in Hercules, which was his love for her. However Hades intervened in front of Meg and finds out that she was in love with Herc. Hades had an idea; he would her make her his prisoner. Hades stole Hercules's strength and abandoned Hercules and Megara so he could free the Titans. Meg did get hurt and Hercules regained his strength, breaking Hades's contract. Hercules rescued her soul and had a happy ending. Megara is aware of her own sexuality, and is perfectly capable of using it to persuade men to do whatever she wants. But this is just another reason she has a low opinion of men, since it is a thing she is usually unwilling to do. Meg is afraid of heights, but apparently overcomes her fear by the end of the movie.
Tomura Shigaraki[]

Tomura Shigaraki (死柄木弔 Shigaraki Tomura), born as Tenko Shimura, is the central antagonist of My Hero Academia, serving as the archenemy of Izuku Midoriya. He is the acting leader of the League of Villains and desires to destroy the society that All Might represents by killing him, so he can create a new one in his own image. He is secretly the grandson of Nana Shimura, All Might's deceased mentor and the seventh wielder of One For All. He is voiced by Kōki Uchiyama in the Japanese version of the anime, and Eric Vale in the English version.
Like most villains in My Hero Academia, Tomura is disgusted with how society is like. He hates heroes, especially All Might for being the symbol of peace. Tomura also hates anyone who admires All Might like Izuku Midoriya and Hero Killer Stain. Unlike the Hero Killer, however, Tomura is out for carnage and to some degree fame.
Sometimes, Tomura can become extremely furious over anything that happens to not go his way, like how he did not get any recognition for the Noumus that attacked the civilians in Hosu or for people constantly praising the Hero Killer in front of him. Tomura is also shown to be very arrogant and childishly sadistic. He has no qualms in threatening anyone's life whether it be a civilian or a student at Yuuei.
Despite his usual malicious attitude, he cares deeply for his sensei and will listen to what he says. He also refused to think of his subordinates as expendable, and remains encouraging to them instead. Initially, Tomura was concerned about taking over the world by himself but as time went by, he's grown fond of how the League of Villains have grown. He does not merely look at them as subordinates, but as a family and ultimately plans to rule the world alongside them.
With his most defining feature is not only his desire to eliminate a society of heroes, but to improve himself as a villain. Learning from his mistakes, and growing from them in a similar way to Izuku Midoriya.
Salia Tereshkova[]

Salia Tereshkova is a heroine from the anime series Cross Ange. Formerly a pawn of Lord Embryo, Salia see the errors of her ways and sides with Angelise afterwards. In tern for this devotion and loyalty Jill trusted Salia with co-conspiring with the second uprising of Libertus, and lead the First Squadron after Zola's death. She seems to have respected Zola's leadership.
She is a serious and diligent individual, studious and ambitious with great loyalty and admiration to Jill and their fight against the DRAGONs. Her defining trait through the early episodes was her disciplined attitude and ability to withhold her personal feeling for a greater cause, but this never stopped her from being a bit open with questions to her superior's orders, and was annoyed when they went unanswered. She is also very forceful, shooing Ange into the hall naked after she refused to wear her piloting uniform.
Salia is a fairly tall young girl with a slender frame. Her most notable feature is her long violet hair usually kept in pigtails with bangs that frame her face and golden brown eyes. Her normal attire is the standard Norma uniform that is customized with a navy blue pleated skirt. A sore spot for her is her flat chest which Ange mocks her on when she confronted her about her "secret". During the mermaid festa she had difficulty balancing an egg on her chest because she was not as well endowed.
When extremely stressed out or alone Salia enjoys cosplaying magical girl costumes such as Sailor Moon.
Litchi Faye-Ling[]

Litchi Faye-Ling is a renowned doctor living in Orient Town, located in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. She is a playable character in the BlazBlue series. Litchi Faye-Ling owns a clinic in the main throng of Orient Town, and is helped by her assistant Linhua. For a time, she worked with Tager and Kokonoe in Sector Seven, until an incident, where a man by the name of Lotte Carmine, who seemed to hold much importance to Litchi, became Arakune. She defends the local townspeople from Arakune's assaults, and seeks to restore him to his former self through any means necessary; even through death. She also seems to respect Bang, apologizing to him if she defeats him in a match, although she remains unaware of the true extent of his feelings for her. She is often subject to adoration for her noticeably large breasts, and can be quite persistent when inebriated.
itchi, at first glance, can be perceived as the perfect woman - courteous, sexy, and intelligent. Being a doctor and former scientist, she is a kind person who is willing to help those in need. She is good friends with the Kaka Clan, acting as their teacher both mentally and, in Taokaka's case, physically. She has a one-sided, rather awkward relationship with Bang: Litchi likes him as a friend, while Bang is infatuated with her, but does not know how to express his love.
In her heart, however, Litchi hides a deep guilt for not being able to help her colleague Lotte, who became the being known as Arakune. In secret, she has searched for a way to cure him through any means necessary. It is through this that she is manipulated by Hazama to work for the NOL.
However, she didn't take any joy in the act, only taking such path because she has tried other paths to no avail such as asking Kokonoe, but was refused. She also realized that she had to use the cure for herself, as leaving it alone will not make her own corruption go away by itself, as seen in her Bad Ending. It also shows her unwillingness to give up or taking the easy way out to live in ignorance of her own condition when there's so much she could do for the benefits of others.
Despite working with NOL, however, she never did became as low as her other co-workers are nor completely focusing on saving Arakune and forgetting everyone else. Litchi remained a kind, courteous soul with a kind heart.
Her emotion is said to be a mess. This makes her unfit to be an Observer, as it would destroy her. On the other hand, because of her messy emotion, Relius Clover saw her as a liability and consider her unworthy to even become his experiment.
