Granny Goodness is a villain from the Superman Universe and one of Darkseid's loyal followers. She is voiced by Edward Asner.
She tortured and brainwashed the youth of Apokolips in order to provide Darkseid with hardened warriors.
Granny Goodness was also in charge of Apokolips youth home for a long time, which was more akin to a child prison than a care home - she was very cruel to her wards but believed she was doing good by breaking their will.
Legends of Light and Darkness[]
Granny Goodness works again with Darkseid as she leads the people of Apokolips against Malefor's forces with Carrol, Joker and Rugal. She decides to manipulate the new comer Manhattan as he fights and attacks Carnage and Saix. Granny Goodness works with Solomon to find The Morticoccus Virus and they manage to find it, she delivers it to The Joker and Darkseid. Goodness warns Darkseid about the superhuman immunity that any person who is superhuman have significant immunity to it. Solomon though believes superhumanism is the key to the people who should survive Darkseid's plan. She stops a fight between Joker and Solomon since Darkseid wants them to shut up. She defends Darkseid from the heroes and pays for her troubles when Darkseid's son Orion kills her.
