Goldia die Heilige is a young girl seemingly suffering from amnesia, as well as the main protagonist of the game Pocket Mirror and Pocket Mirror - GoldenerTraum. Her goal is to find out who she is with the help of a beautiful pocket mirror that has a significant yet unknown meaning to her.
Appearance[]
Goldia has light brown hair, given a pink hue in the official artwork for the game. Her hair reaches down to her thighs, and has been commented on as being very long and delicate by others, specifically Harpae. She has cherry red eyes with a hint of gold in the mid-bottom. Two matching pink bows adorn the front portions of her bangs, specifically the short strands framing her face.
She is seen wearing a lacy long-sleeved white blouse with red buttons and a red broach at the collar. She also has a long navy blue skirt, reaching her lower thighs in length. The skirt has suspenders with blue bows on each side connecting the straps to the length of her skirt; the skirt also has a white ruffled trim underneath, matching the color of her blouse. Goldia also wears knee-high white socks and pink Mary Jane-style shoes with pink bows on top of the straps. Throughout the game, she carries her golden pocket mirror in her left hand, making sure to keep it at her side.
During the stairway chase with Enjel, Goldia wears a golden crown and a transparent, light blue veil with gold trim. According to the creators, Goldia's appearance is from when she was around 12-13 years old.
In GoldenerTraum, Goldia’s design remains relatively the same, with a few minor differences. Her hair is more defined with puffed ends, her outfit overall is much fuller, with the frills on her outfit being more prominent. Her socks are also frilled at the top, and her pocket mirror now has a gold rose on the top.
Personality[]
Goldia is a sweet, kind, and caring young girl who is always willing to help others, no matter what the cost may be. Because of the kind-hearted nature of her personality, other characters often call her "Miss Goody Two Shoes" or scorn her for her acts of innocence.
She has been shown not to wish harm upon others, in some cases even pleading for others to remain safe despite any ill-willed actions they had performed. However, it is noteworthy that despite her positive morals, Goldia has brought harm on others indirectly, and occasionally even by her own hand; this is specifically shown when she plucks the eyeball from the "Hatred" painting to avoid losing her own.
Although commonly donning a gentle, cheerful outlook during exchanges with others, throughout the events of the game Goldia is predominantly clouded by confusion and doubt over who she truly is, even to the point of naivete. This is most easily demonstrated when she expresses belief in Enjel's words about her identity, even after only being a short time since they had met.
Relationships[]
Fleta[]
Goldia treats Fleta as a friend, and seems to truly view her as one despite many of the princess' harsh words and actions toward her. Inside the Mirror Room of Fleta's Dollhouse, Goldia uses her only wish to obtain a pocket mirror like her own to give to Fleta, and expresses hurt and disappointment when Fleta refuses to accept it.
Egliette[]
Goldia conducts herself warily around Queen Egliette, as the doll takes every chance she can to assert power and is swift to dispose of people she finds irritating. Despite this, Goldia still wishes to befriend the doll and even sews her back together right after the latter attempts to execute her. Judging by their interactions in the Bonus Room, they now maintain a courteous and amicable relationship.
Harpae[]
Harpae mainly serves as a guardian or mother figure towards Goldia, trying her best to be a person she can find comfort and protection from. She displays a lot of kindness and concern, which often results in her hiding the truth from Goldia in order to not make her worry, and her protective nature can seem almost possessive sometimes. However, Harpae is quick to apologize when she realizes her mistakes, and Goldia's understanding personality makes it easy for them to still maintain a good relationship.
Lisette[]
Goldia and Lisette have quite a complex relationship; despite Lisette trying to hurt her, Goldia still insists on trying to help and understand her. It's revealed that Goldia had done horrible things to Lisette in the past, which is why she acts the way she does.
In Lisette's good end, Goldia encounters the true Lisette, tearfully apologizing with the promise that she will atone for all of her sins in Lisette's stead. Lisette finally forgives Goldia, which gives birth to an unbreakable bond between the two girls. Goldia also tells Lisette that she loves her just as much as Harpae and Fleta.
As shown in both Lisette's good end and her Bonus Room, she and Goldia developed a loving friendship with a mutual wish of wanting to have known and understood each other better.
Enjel[]
Originally, Enjel treats Goldia with kindness and serves as a sort of guide for her. She occasionally appears in various mirrors throughout the game, giving Goldia support and company whenever she needs it the most. However, Enjel only presents all those acts of kindness in order to make Goldia trust her, so she can steal her pocket mirror and fulfill her wish of becoming a real girl. After Goldia confronts her with the truth, Enjel displays a much more bitter and confrontational personality, and she does not hesitate to attempt to steal the pocket mirror by force.
As shown in Enjel's Bonus Room, she keeps a cordial relationship with Goldia after being accepted by her, and is openly curious about Goldia and the outside world.
The "Strange Boy"[]
Goldia doesn't trust The "Strange Boy" from the beginning. He dodges all her questions, and asks very uncomfortable ones of his own to confuse and frighten her. Although he never directly harms her over the course of the story, he abruptly changes this to the utmost extreme in the Witching Hour ending.
