General Wade Eiling

General Wade Eiling is the head of metahuman operations in Central City and a former partner of Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne, whom he now despises for creating the meta-human species. He is the tertiary antagonist of Season 1 in The Flash TV series up until he was seemingly killed by Gorilla Grodd.

However, he makes a final appearance in the episode Grodd Lives, where it is revealed that he became a puppet for Grodd who turned him into a supervillain whom Joe named Goldfinger.

He was portrayed by actor Clancy Brown, who is well known for portraying The Kurgan from Highlander and voicing Mr Krabs from SpongeBob Squarepants, as well as Lex Luthor from Superman: The Animated Series, the Smile Away Reformatory School Sergeant from the Phineas and Ferb episode, Phineas and Ferb get Busted and he also will portray Blackhand the Destroyer.

Chapter 2: Past, Present and Future Unite[]

Wade Elling has been recruited by Solider Boy to join Payback 2.0 and helps him puts the city on Lockdown so he can guarantee his plans against Captain Carter and the others. Spider Noir has infiltrated Solider Boy's hideout and he ends up spying on Solider Boy and the rest of his goons, apart from Sharon Carter. Wade Elling and the others go to attack the heroes after Solider Boy is tipped off the lockdown violation and to bring them in, kill them or whatever he needs to do.

Wade, Hartman and Ripper bring in more men to Solider Boy , Afterwards Wade Elling joins up with Stryker and tries to claim Cassie's DNA He and Stryker end up locking up in battle with Captain Carter and Steve who catch this and work to stop this.

He and Stryker bring in Steve and Peggy to Solider Boy, while Solider Boy would have preferred Lizbeth. Solider Boy accepts this.

As Solider Boy and his guys brainwash Steve, the others decide to make their next move on Carter who is caught which involved a strapped table.

Stryker is questioning why Carter and not Cassie like he wanted. Elling states it's because that Cassie will be coming with Lizbeth and they use Carter as a exchange to do just that, knowing she inherited her dad's heroic spirit. He was blindsided by Captain Carter with the help of Sergeant Oakley who gets the lights turned off and is knocked out.

Elling recovers and tries to go after the heroes one last time with Stryker to get their hands on Cassandra's meta human DNA but is killed by Cassie's enlarging powers getting out of control.
