Franklin Turtle is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Turtle and big brother of Harriet Turtle. Unlike his other friends, he is not named for the animal that he represents, although it is used in his surname. And he is the one of the few in Woodland to have parents who are not siblings but of different families (along with Bear, Beaver, Goose and Rabbit) while most have sibling parents.

Franklin Turtle made a debut as friendly rival of Bugs Bunny and the peacemaker of Ten Legendary Warriors-United Heroes. He is happily amazed that Kamen Rider Kabuto has successfully saved the Digidestined and Anderson Family from the invasion of Makati caused by the Dark Lord Empire Federational Apocalypse-United Villains. Emu Hojo started the training of these heroes. Franklin started a sparring training with Bugs Bunny. After the training is finished, the assignment is newly given to him by Kiriya Kujo. He, Barney, and Leviathan are arriving at the Lyceum of Alabang to confront Beezel, Juliet Starling, and Wang Cheng. After the long fight, they successfully defeated the villains during the whole night.
