Francesca Van Bilj, or simply known as Francesca and Frances Junior, is one of the main characters in LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow, particularly in both Horseman Saga and Pandora Saga. She is the eldest daughter of Kristen Kiwifruit and Crow Faux, being their earliest born child seconds before the birth of the rest of her five sextuplet siblings, named after Kristen's mother Lady Frances Van Bilj.
Francesca is considered to be an exact reminiscence of her mother (and her grandmother as well) in both physical appearance and demeanor, speaking in a manner of Georgian English lady, albeit sharing more modesty than her arrogant mother. She is also to be stated as Kristen's favorite child, and the smartest of all of her children.
She made her debut in LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow Spin-Off - Firenza Junior as a minor character, but eventually she was revealed to be another form of reincarnated character. Francesca was actually revealed to be the semi-reincarnation of her maternal grandmother, the aforementioned Lady Frances Van Bilj (nee Rosewood), whom she would communicate at times inside her mind. The spirit of Lady Frances will be one of the major characters of LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow Spin-Off - Prophecy of the Light Lord and Horsemen Saga as a whole.
Early on, Lady Frances was killed by Moloch while he start controlling Lord Caspar Van Bilj to conduct his heartless experiments. Moloch manipulated Caspar to boost the intelligence of both Christine Van Bilj and Colin Van Bilj his twin children's, at the cost of their sanity, and he considered Lady Van Bilj as an obstacle to create perfect strategist for his own pawns.
Francesca's soul originally tended to look after her children and tried to find a way to convert Christie's deteriorated morality, but the manipulation of both Hubert Zodiak and Lady Van Tassel had made Christine gone insane via discovering her father's project. Thus, Entisrich was born and ruined everything Lady Frances once did to save her daughter from going into a deep madness.
The spirit of Lady Frances would later re-emerge in Sleepy Hollow when Christine was revived once more in Haunting Past Arc, in the form of a younger Christine and was called as the Mysterious Girl by Sister Mary Eunice. By the end of Horsemen Saga, Frances would serve as a factor to bring her daughter back to sense and made her into Kristen Kiwifruit gradually, exorcising both the soul essence of Entisrich and the Horseman of War from Christine's body. Her soul would later merged with Christine to encourage her into accepting her new and better self, before disappearing quickly.
Kristen's eldest daughter, Francesca, was named after her grandmother and shared much of her personality and was able to communicate with her as a medium. Just like Christine/Kristen who shared the beauty of Frances, this little Francesca shared the appearance of both her mother and her grandmother.
Kristen did not shy her dark past and beastly abilities away from Francesca and told her about them, in order to make her a better woman than she was, just like her beloved mother, noble and kind. Besides her family, Francesca also had a liking to Ichabod Crane, who served as her godfather and mentor, being her mother's rival and one of her best friends.
