Spider-Gwen

Spider-Woman (Gwen Stacy; colloquial: "Spider-Gwen", "White Widow"or "Ghost Spider") is a fictional superhero in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She was created by Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez. The character debuted in Edge of Spider-Verse #2 as part of the 2014–15 "Spider-Verse" comic book storyline, leading to the ongoing series Spider-Gwen that commenced in 2015.

Spider-Woman is a variant of Spider-Man and an alternate-universe version of Gwen Stacy. She resides in what Marvel dubs Earth-65, where Gwen Stacy is bitten by a radioactive spider and becomes a superheroine instead of Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man, who ends up being the one that she couldn't save. The character also has to deal with various enemies, including Earth-65 versions of Matt Murdock and Frank Castle. Gwen Stacy's Spider-Woman is depicted as harboring much of Peter's personality and conflicts along with sharing his powers and abilities.

In her universe, she's a drummer of a band, saved her father who's a police officer but she couldn't save her best friend, Peter Parker. The loss hung heavy on her which caused her to be a loner but she took it upon herself to save everyone else. She opened herself up again after her trip within Miles's universe where she met him and they eventually became good friends.

Countdown To Chang's Guide To The Galaxy[]

Spider Gwen gets involved in the events of Vought International and an ongoing alien invasion and joins up with Luan and Harry Wells. Gwen's spidy sense told her to follow Luan as Luan is a spider girl herself and she brings Harry's suspcions up, though about the alternate multiverses.

Chapter 1[]

Gwen is revealed to have been the girl who was spying on Homelander and his plans to go after Team Free Will's remants that havn't been accounted for.

Luan, Benny, Harry and Captain Hero are surpised and ask who she is. She is introduced as Gwen Stacy, I.E Spider Gwen. Gwen states she eavesdropped and saw Homelander put a man hunt on Team Free Will's remainders, considering what she found out, it seems they have started. Luan questions how she found them.

Gwen tells Luan her spider sense told her to follow Luan spefically, Luan asks spider sense and that she is a spider girl like her. Gwen informs them that she is one and from an alternate universe and explains how she arrived here. Harry asks upon hearing this when did she get here, Spider Gwen confesses she arrived in the dimension a bit ago, Harry suspects Anti Cosmo and Bender's accident caused this.

Gwen admits that it wasn't some machine that brought her here, she learned that a rift cracked from her universe and she was brought in as a result. Harry and Luan both question each other trying to figure out who else would know this. Gwen states that as much as they want to talk about things, they have to stop this consipiracy, she has been battling aliens and monsters on her way and without breaking a sweat.

Luan states and she did this with spider powers. Gwen states she has and now that they need to go before Homelander puts the dotes together that Lincoln and her are related. Luan is fasicated by Gwen that she is another spider themed hero and wants to be more like her

Harry and Gwen discuss the Altenrate multiverses and what happened in this regards. Gwen and Harrison both lead the way with Luan, Benny and Hero behind. Gwen tells The 4 that she is going to look for the people who have been helping her through the way and have been looking into Homelander and the Conspiracy.

Chapter 2[]

Spider Gwen, Luan, Captain Hero, Benny and Harry Wells are heading off with Spider Gwen as she explains that she is aware of that Homelander and the Vought Coporation's threat. so she decided to look for anyone who could be of help. Luan asks Gwen who could possibly be a help against a guy like him. Spider Gwen says The Boys

Harry, Benny and Captain Hero question that, Gwen says they're the ones who actually oppose the 7, mainly Homelander. The 7 of Vought have done things to them intentionally or not,

Gwen, Luan, Captain Hero, Harry and Benny reach the Boys and Gwen introduces themselves to them. Luan and Hero aren't exact trusted due to being Supes and Benny is seen as mere boy. Harrison though does gain respect and is recongized as a kindred spirit to them

Gwen and Luan decide to go alone and think. Gwen tells Luan that she wanted to talk about the whole spider girl/man thing that Luan recently got into. Luan tells her she was bitten by accident, Gwen states that's always the case. Gwen tells Luan that these powers are to used reponsibilty. She can tell Luan has more powers than that as she been observing those invisble tendencies she has. Luan questions how she knew that, Gwen tells Luan spidy sense, remember.

Gwen tells Luan further that she may lose someone important and changes the course of their life. For her it was her Peter Parker, and Luan can only imagine who hers will be. Luan takes note and decides to blank out anyone who says the Uncle Ben words as she feels anyone who says them is basically going to die. Gwen knows Luan may be having some luck but won't control said powers without guidance and decides to be her mentor despite what "Specs" would say. Luan does point out "Specs" does have a super heroine daugher and he does know what to do.

Gwen admits he does, but Harry does come off too much like a drill segant, and while she can be hard, she can also be gentle. Luan asks what other powers come from this bite, Gwen states the ability to crawl walls, shoot web, physical enhancments, senses and sometimes the biology of it suprises them.

They see Intergang and Bruno Mannheim once again smuggling some kind of product from Vought and the two spider girls decide to go after it.

Luan and Spider Gwen both pursue Bruno Mannheim and deal with the Intergang, eventually catching up and noticing what is being smuggled and they try to take from them. Luan and Gwen both struggle and The Deep shows up interupting them and summons his creatures to help attack them. Luan and Gwen both fight off The Deep and his brethen and Luan accidentaly electric shocks some, and she's stunned at this. Gwen notices too and Luan then turns invisible again randomly and this distracts Gwen who is sucker puched by The Deep and Bruno. Luan turns visble again randomly and then the vechile crashs and Luan and Gwen jump off and webs forms on Luan's arm pit shocking her again and the two gilde down to where Captain Hero and Harry are as the Boys and Benny were sucessful in undercovering something with Benny's cover

A box falls down near them and Harry decides to go look into it with Benny and The Boys and they decide to investigate the products

Luan and Gwen discuss what happened as she was shocked with those moves she made. Gwen states it's her Spider bite giving her more powers. She ponders on them. Gwen spectualtes it's a fight or flight thing with Luan in that respect, Luan asks how are they going to get that under contorl. Gwen considers Harry could help in that regard. Luan asks about electricity she used, Gwen feels this could be much like her friend Miles Morales who had powers like that too spectualting Luan's bite must be giving her powers like Miles. Luan asks about the web gliding, Gwen has a spectulation that maybe that's new to her as her suit is built like that as she can do it,

Luan admits she struggled for a white upon her becoming a Spider Girl and her powers made seen as a freak. Her powers emergeg just before they went against her alternate multiverse counterpart so she sees as a fortune aspect that she couldn't show to her family or other people. Luan states with how sticky she was and her bones being changed is awkard for her to live with. Gwen realtes, when she was bitten, she has to adjust to her new powers and it was awkard that for her too, she did eventually find the confidence to do so by becoming her city's defender

Harry and The Boys realize that Bruno Mannheim and The Deep after looking into the box that they were shipping Compound V and that they were smugging it and that Harry feels that Homelander is setting something up as do the Boys. Harry wants to destory the product and Hero is on board as well. Benny and The Boys though feel that there is no real way to destroy the product without alering Homelander or Vought.

Captain Hero considers dumping it in the ocean, Though The Boys turn this down as Hero would attract The Deep. Captain Hero moans that he wants to go to the ocean, Luan and Gwen decide that could be a risk,, though The Deep isn't as dangerous as A Train or Homelander which mean they won't risk A Train.

Luan, Benny, Hero, Gwen and The Boys head off to the sea,

Chapter 3[]

Luan is thought about Zib than anyone else as he did come from an alternate multiverse similar to The Prankster and Gwen. Gwen states that she knows alternate multiverses must have opened up somehow and it wasn't due to machines or powers, it was someone who maybe knew something about time travel or timelines if possible.

Harry questions the idea, Gwen states Alternate Timelines are a thing as he would know, and asks if they have encountered such a thing

The Two state that did, with The Spear of Destiny, but that was a long time ago, in fact Bender and ANti Cosmo stated that's how CSM returned. Gwen tells Luan is she ready for her training as she has an idea how to control her powers. Luan heads off

Luan, Gwen, Frenchie, MM and The Girl return and Luan is in a new super hero outfiit, Gwen designed it for her body type so she doesn't have to worry about clothing trouble.

Gwen asks Luan if it fits or okay, Luan states it fits fine considering her bones growing and changing shape meant this was going to happen. She does want it to be in pink and yellow though, so Gwen offers her spray paint to make her outfit like the way she wants, as Gwen did get a outfit of her own for Luan.

Luan, Gwen, Billy Hughie, Benny, Captain Hero, Harrison, MM and Frenchie discuss what their plans are in regards to throwing away the Compound V. Each have a different Idea

Harrison, Billy, Frenchie and Gwen however decide to basically just use the anti meta human serum to basically save anyone from The Compund V sideaffects as that will expose the company

Captain Hero, Billie, MM, Frenchie , The Girl, Luan and Gwen all put on snorkel gear to be able to swim and take on the monsters and The Deep without as much trouble.

Luan and Gwen swim to deal with Squishy, the giant squid who attacked the two with it's tentacles, they both used their webs to capture it and to stop it, it does grab them by the tentacles and throws them, Squishy shoots ball of lighting at them which does cause damage to the two, Until Gwen tries to get Luan to use that electrical powers she has.

Gwen alerts Luan to the electric powers, Squishy grabs Luan and Luan electrifies the squid as Squishy tries to squeez the life out of her. Luan's electric powers come out that shock the squid and turns it into calamri.

The Deep angered by this goes after them and summons creatures to keep them all in hand as he prepares to finish this.

However his sea friends attack him, for some reason and everyone is techinally saved and it turns to be Queen Cleo.

Shark Man and Queen Cleo both basically tell them to head to the isle to dispose of Compound V upon being told of this by the others and are told to follow them. Benny, Hughie, Frenchie, The Lady, Mother's Milk, Billy, Luan, Gwen, Captain Hero and Harrison Wells all follow them as a result to that island

Shark Man and Cleo lead Luan, Harry, Benny, Captain Hero, Gwen and The Boys to the Island where Lava Woman is.

Luan, Benny, Captain Hero and Harry ask Cleo if she was playing with alternate dimenisons again, Cleo states she wasn't doing anything other than make simple portals to visit her friends in her own universe.

Gwen despite meeting her states she's right, it wasn't something this one did, as she can tell by her sense.

Luan, Gwen and Kate Bishop are all hanging together. With Kate revealing to the two that she was brought here alongside her friends Cassie and Ren to her knowledge so far and that it was something to do with time.

Gwen asks Kate about Operation Countdown, and Kate admits that it's vague but she can help put a stop to it. Kate suspected at first that Vought was behind this, but they don't know enough though wants to know about the Spear of Destiny. Luan states that it's not just her call, it's Bender, Slade, Anti Cosmo and Harry Wells's call too.

Kate is able to tell Luan is a meta human thanks to her spider powers with sheer decution. Gwen states that she suspsects it's a flight or flight thing and she's helping Luan with this. Kate offers to help Luan too. Luan admits why does everyone want to train her all of a sudden.

Gwen states because them and Wells see her a kindred spriit to realte them and help make her own path. Luan does admit she doesn't want the cure despite the troubles it gives her, she likes it.

Luan, Gwen and Kate Bishop are fighting off Lord Dregg and his alien forces, With Luan and Gwen tag teaming his forces and basically beating them like files so Luan's training with Gwen as paid off in her being more accurate with web slinging and showcasing comfortably how strong she has become since the start, Gwen seems proud of Luan as she does as she fights up close with them. Gwen throws Luan up and she uses her webs to glide down and then traps the aliens with her powers and Gwen finishing them off

Luan, Harry, Hero, Benny, Gwen, The Boys, Cleo, Shark Man, Lava Woman and Kate all got away though Benny apolgizes about losing Guppy.

Kate Bishop and Gwen discuss out to help out each other return to their universes. Cleo states that she may have a way to help them out. Kate and Gwen both admit Cleo could help, but they don't want to alert either Homelander or The Smoking Man. Cleo understands, stating maybe after all of this. They concede, Luan, Benny and Harry come to them telling them that Homelander and CSM are their main priority. Harry tells Gwen and Kate that he will inform them a bit more about The Spear of Destiny as he feels its' necessary as long as they can help Luan with using her smarts more, just like Gwen can help Luan using her powers and help her adapt to them. Gwen and Harry decide to gurther discuss this as Harry shows her his plan to use the anti metahuman serum he is working on with the boys

Chapter 4[]

Gwen discuss Vought with the others and joins suit with the others when considering going to Royal Woods. Gwen is however not willing to safrice Luan to Homelander knowing how dangerous this is to. Harry tells Gwen that Luan will be safe and not to worry about her, Gwen just worries that her powers might be a problem, though Harry just tells her to work on them with her.

On the sub marine, Gwen talks with Luan and Kate and learns that the latter did succeed in getting contact with her other friends from the future that were sent back like her. They learn that they are receiving help as well and what they know on their own accord. She also takes Luan aside to keep training her

- Gwen and the others are trapped by Hopkins but not long as she, Kate and Luan manage to escape and take on The Smoking Man himself which resolves to go up front and at a distance due to CSM using his weapons, Gwen uses her web powers and enhaced abilities to fight him as she tries to get through to Luan during this as her powers are acting in incontinence

However she sees Kate take matters into her hands and use some of Harry's wording to get through to Luan and Gwen observes rather pleasingly Luan getting her powers under control and using them to keep CSM nearly incaptiated.

Gwen, Luan, Benny and Kate see Harry and tell him that she managed to get her powers under control which Harry does nod in approval, Upon hearing of Prankster, Gwen is brought in the loop by Luan and Harry

Chapter 5[]

Gwen watches with pride Luan as she seems to have learned well under her and Kate, as Luan grew as a hero with her special abilites. This in turn to Kate with physical fighting. The Two discuss why they want to return to their timelines and universes. Gwen understands and get this respectfully, she admits unlike Kate, it's not like she has no one to really see in her own universe. Though with Luan, Kate and Miles, she doesn't feel this anymore.

She meets the Prankster with the others and realizing they know something on Vought they decide to accept her help, Respectfully Gwen does keep an eye on Luan and Harry as Harry decides with MM to keep Luan Sassfrass on a leash respectfully. Gwen and Kate talk about Wells and how he can get them back, as the latter may know about alternate universes but not time itself. Gwen tells Kate that she already talked to Harry on this and he has already found a way. Kate does point out he doesn't know about future travel, just past travel. Gwen states that there maybe some way.

They go back where Vought is and see Queen Maeve who informs them what they know. Gwen is encountered by Captain Putty and the others and Gwen knowing Putty is targetting Harry and/or Maeve with Homelander. Without hesitation she takes them on to keep Maeve safe from them.

Discussing with Gwen, Luan, Harry and Billy, they settle on seeing Slade and his guys as Luan knows Anti Cosmo and Bender have their own thing going on.

Chapter 6[]

Following Luan and Harry's lead, Gwen heads off to the small town with the crew and they decide to paitently wait for the others. Slade and his empire along with Marcy, Bliss, Kid and Black Star arrive to meet up. Gwen, Luan, Kate and Dr.Wells are brought up to speed on what Bender and his group are doing in Johto in that they are searching for legendaries to use against CSM and Countdown which is primarily in Sinnoh

Luan states that she can get home that way and so can Kate respectively. Gwen questions if that's what Harry meant in getting them back. Harry bawks at the idea that can even work at least in the former's case. Gwen alongisde Luan, Kate, Harrison and Marcy and are put in charge as Slade goes to get Bender and Anti Cosmo himself as he realizes they have their own deal going on as he and some of his crew go to pick up his team

After that Homelander has his forces invade Halverston and Area as well as the Black Arms. putting Gwen and the others through an attempt to stop an alien invasion. Their intial invasion is foiled, though as the gang finds out they are more than just that to deal with in the area.

Finale[]

Gwen checks up on Luan after her session with Kate, and like Kate reassures her that no matter what happens Luan will have made her proudGwen takes on the alien invaders like the others and helps Luan deal with her advsearies and uses her spider powers to keep Homelander from escaping as she was in on Bender's plot to get Homelander and then CSM.

Gwen helps get innocents out of trouble with Jessie and Kate as The Time Eater approaches. After The Smoking Man is defeated, Gwen is given the key to return to her universe and she bares Luan a farewell and hands her a memento to remember her by as she leaves to her home.

Chapter 8: Earth X's Last Stand[]

Celes, Jessie and Slade's forces call in Gwen to help deal with The Cartel and to help find Slade respectfully. She agrees to this and helps take on the villains and upon remeeting Bender and Slade's allies take on the Council of Thawnes.

Chapter 4[]

Spider Gwen arrives randomly in the Fairy Mound and reveals that she's a time agent like Hobie and Will respectfully to Lyida, Lincoln, Hilda, Will, The Robot and Hobie respectfully

She informs the former two that she worked against The Smoking Man like them and also took on the Cartel as well. When asked about her intentions, Gwen mentions that she was brought in part to her being alt multiverse version of Spider Man and to keep her eye on Anti Cosmo and Bender who broke the timeline/multiverse rules by traveling to different multiverses and breaking the timeline

Gwen was going to arrest them, but she decided to side with them, and assist the benevolent Time Agents as opposed to turning them in due to observing them and noting their good intentions. While also mentoring Lincoln's older sister

When Crocker, The Spider Frog and The Robotoid attack, Gwen decides to help fight back against The Spider Frog with the others and finds out it was cloned respectfully. When Phinium and Lydia are captured by Crocker. Gwen, Hobie and Will decide to insure the rest of the agents know what to do.

Gwen lets Lydia and Lincoln, know that the time agents aren't going to harm them either, as they did under good intentions and she, Hobie and Will as well as the other benevolent time agents feel they didn't know, so the time agents don't try to bring them in respectfully.

Part 2[]

Gwen decides to help deal with the situation Spot is causing, as she gets a disturbance about what has happened respectfully and realizes that someone else might be disturbing the timeline. She joins the group going to the Peacemaker Universe

With them she finds Melvin Borg, Crocker and Van Gale, as Kate was tracking Crocker after his capture of Phinium and Lydia. She goes up against Van Gale and what she is putting up against the group in their plans with the other agents.

Gwen and her fellow time agents manage to arrive back to see The Streaming Resistance respectfully and she decides with the other time agents that they need to get Lincoln, Lydia, Erica, Eleven, Wednesday, Will Robinson and The Robot to join them.

Chapter 5[]

Gwen takes the others to the Time Bureau to see Loki who she knows Lydia has some history with in part to what they learned

She tells them how it all came to be as she walks the Streaming Resistance and what history has been established before joining them. She and some of the agents are placed to insure Lincoln and Lydia see what they have found with Doc's kids

Gwen, Hobie and Will Vandom explain that the event that Lincoln, Lydia and the others have seen is very much been happening for a while and that had to get the group on this before it occured to them too. When Melvin Borg arrives with his robot agents as N.Tropy's hands, Gwen knows that the the split time bureau has came up to go after the group. When she sees Lincoln as well as Lydia pursue the Robotoid, she tries to stop them from going into the alternate multiverses to no avail. She gets Noir to go get LL 007 as Hobie decides to go on his own to find the two.

Gwen is sent on a mission with the other time agents with Loki to undercover what The N.Trophies are really having in mind in regards to the multiverse

Chapter 6[]

Gwen and the other agents manage to get to the lab where N.Tropy and his alternate counterpart created the False Groudon and learn what he did with it. This occurs in the nick of the time where the remaining heroes arrive from False Groudon's attack

Gwen agrees to help stall False Groudon as Dakota and Cavendish take the majority of the group in their vechile to get everything ready and stall it as that is the most anyone can do at this point. Gwen and her friends manage to get it distracted for a time being before it focuses it's efforts on them and tries claim them as they get back to the rest of the crew with Cavendish and Dakota

With everything brought back and with some clarifcation. Gwen decides to stick around in case anything else goes down and awry.
