The Crystal Empire a Kingdom in the world of Equestria.
Once ruled by King Sombra until he was defeat by Princess Celestia and Luna, the empire vanished for a long time. When it reappeared, Twilight and and her friends helped Princess Cadence defeat the spirit of King Sombra and freed the kingdom.
The kingdom is now under the protection of Princess Cadence.
The B Team storyline[]
Before the Children of BlackGarurumon attacked the kingdom, Blue and Cadence evacuated their daughter and all ponies of the kingdom and some ponies of Ponyville to put them safe. Alongside the Rainbow Friendship Kingdom, The Crystal Empire is the only kingdom of Equestria that wasn't destroyed.
Future Warfare[]
Chairman Malcom Hargrove and Devidramon take over the kingdom turn it in a Rome-like empire. They also kill anyone who disobeys them without mercy.
Because the Chairman and Devidramon have control of the Crystal Empire, it is guarded by the Staff of Charon, Hargrove's ship.
After the dissolution of Charon, the Crystal Empire was liberated by the Sentinel Task Force.
After Future Warfare, however, the Galactic Empire attacks and takes over the Crystal Empire. Now a group of heroes band together to liberate the city and defeat the Empire.
