Cheerful, courageous and also a very naive and dimwit, Katarina is an ExKrieg originally sent to Earth as an infant with the mission to destroy it since her race was enslaved by Deus.Ex.Machina Industries Empire and were forced to invade and destroy all living being of the planet in order to give it to DEM to sell, however, after the ExKrieg Genocide caused by her own father, Ike Ray Peram Westcott, Katarina was sent to Earth by her mother, Mikaela Du Tirial, to save her from being killed by DEM Forces. However, after she arrives on Earth she is adopted by the Couteau Family and suffers from an accident that altered her personality, causing her to grow up with split personality (one with her former persona, Elesis, and the another one being Katarina herself, a fragment of Elesis) and later becomes Earth's greatest defender against evil forces like Mafusa Gang, the Revelation of Qliphoth, KnightWalker Family, Novosic Kingdom, Godom Empire and Order of Terror. Throughout her life, she trains hard and strives to be the greatest warrior possible, while at the same time using her amazing strength and skills to uphold peace in the hopes she can be remembered and adored by other people just so she can never be forgotten by the people unlike Hana Langley who fell in the oblivion of the forgotten. However, it results in her becoming a hypocrital person who believed in her own lies.
She is the adoptive granddaughter of Iruka Couteau and Haruko Couteau, the niece of Akrak Couteau, the daughter of Mikaela Du Tirial and Sir Isaac Ray Peram Westcott, the older sister of Alisa Ray Peram Westcott, the older foster sister of Eugen Katsuragi and La Folia Rihavein/Imperia Deamonne, the wife of Myouri and the mother of Rinslet Walker Couteau. Born to the house of Tirial Family, Katarina was a Half-ExKrieg Taken who was later sent to Earth and became the adoptive granddaughter of Iruka and Haruko Couteau until their death in a car crash caused by Ara Astaroth. Years after their death, Katarina was adopted by a close family of the Couteaus, the Langleys, and became the foster daughter of Hana Langley and her unnamed husband but due to the difficulty relationship Hana committed suicide after her husband tried to kill her and Katarina, leaving the latter as an orphan for the rest of her childhood.
Following the death of Hana, she was forced her to live alone in the wilderness for much of her young life, during her time alone, she suffered bullying, torture and psychological abuse by the hands of her classmates and bad people from the Japanese society that judged her as a criminal, gangster and thug because of her scarlet hair (which favored her mental insanity) and became an outcast with misanthropic tendencies (hatred of humans). At one point after her corruption by the society, she thought about wiping out all humans from the planet which could have awakened her dark personality and would eventually destroy the world with her Taken powers, however, La Folia Rihavein, the fallen princess of Aldegyr Kingdom, met her before it could happen and stopped her insane rampage with her pure-heart.
After meeting La Folia and learning about the good parts of humanity, Katarina's life was forever changed and led to her becoming a legendary warrior who saved the planet Earth many times on the future from the hands of Eckidina KnightWalker, B1-Killer Kampfdroide Unit-CM 130, Ara Astaroth, Vira Hermes, Michael Langdon, Sasha, Emperor Tathagata Killer, King Hamdo, Heis, Kanon Rihavein, Aki Honda, Diabla the Qliphoth Tyrant and Junko Enoshima. In the following years, she became a prodigal warrior who saved not only the Earth but the existence and Multi-Universe from the likes of Darth Hades, Leohart the Prince of Hell, and her own father Ike Ray Peram Westcott in her journey to become the strongest fighter warrior alive to protect all living beings and to seek atonement for her past sins. As the years passed, she managed to control her mental illness yet that does not mean she left most of her enemies alive, Katarina loved to fight but never left one of her most cruel enemies alive after her fight with Aki Honda, where her goodness was the reason why her adoptive sister, Eugen Katsuragi, was killed by the ruthless hands of Aki Honda, the late leader of Mafusa Gang. Deep inside, Katarina still enjoys torturing and killing but chooses the right people to unleash pain and despair.
Due to her bravery and courage under Ratatoskr's cares, Katarina was called by Reality Council to fight and protect the Multi-Universe alongside billion of heroes that were called from many parts of the Multi-Universe to fight the Balam Alliance that were breaking havoc many universes, dimensions, multiverses, galaxies and planets of the existence, when the war against the Dark Empires from Balam Alliance was coming to an end (with the defeat of the heroes and all heroic factions), the Reality Council had no choice but to bring legendary fighters from many parts of the existence to fight and protect all creation from the hands of the evil Sith Empire, Triggers Hell and Deus.Ex.Machina Industries Empire, alongside many warriores, Katarina was just one of them but later becomes the most notable of them all due to her trace of Taken and ExKrieg in her blood and had power to defeat the most powerful beings on the Multi-Universe; Hades Zagreus Villalobos, Leohart the Prince of Hell and her own father, the Dark Emperor of DEM Empire, whom are the emperors of the Balam Alliance.
Initially believed to be an Earthling, she is later revealed to be a member of an extraterrestrial warrior race called the ExKriegs with the birth name Elesis Du Tirial. As Katarina grows up, she becomes the Prime Earth's mightiest warrior and protects her home. Battles with her enemies like Michael Langdon and Heis helped to awake her true power little by little due to her injuries and horrible psychological experiences through her life. Katarina is depicted as carefree and cheerful when at ease, but quickly serious and strategic-minded when in battle, despite her cheerful personality, she is quite ruthless and sometimes can act very brutal due to her generic ExKrieg blood, in which the entire race was bloodthirsty warriors destroying entire lives on many planets.
She is able to concentrate her ExKrieg and Taken energy and use it for devastatingly powerful energy-based attacks, the most prominent being her signature is "Pylóna tis Agonías", (Αγωνίες Πυλώνα tis, "Pillar of Agony" in Greek) in which Katarina launches a dark red energy blast from her right hand and eradicate all evil beings of the existence. Despite her brutal and sociopathic nature that appears in times, Katarina tries her best to keep her psychopathy aside and seeks to bring peace and protect the people around her but lost herself on the way, she vowed to herself to fight only to protect her friends and loved ones but as more powerful enemies appeared on the way, she unconsciously started to fight to protect not only her friends but entire planets and universes, gaining many friends and allies on the way but still suffers from her mental issues.
As the protagonist, Katarina appears in most of the episodes, spinoffs, specials and crossover of the storylines of CIS Productions. Due to her role in the story, Katarina has become one of the most recognizable characters by all members of CIS Productions. Despite that, Katarina is somehow a controversial character because of her mental illness, psychopathy, hypocrital behavior and split personality that turns her into a psychopathic murder, insane sadistic killer and a brutal homicidal fighter, and because of that Katarina has an anti-heroic personality of a good-hearted person and another personality with a cold and evil woman with homicidal tendencies.
Katarina is described as a girl that inherited the beauty of Mikaela Du Tirial and the twisted personality of her father, Ike Ray Peram Westcott and "a girl with astonishing beauty" as described by Yuri Barnes and Spectra. Despite her otherwordly beauty, she has a double-swing of personality that changes her appearance between heroine-like and "evil"-like. While pretending to be a good person, she ties her hair to look like a normal woman taking care of her appearance and wears colorful clothes to give her a girly look.
In her true personality, the side she is most comfortable with, she care less for her looks and do as she pleases by wearing black and red clothes, wears asymmetrical clothes and torn pantyhose, and has a tattoo on her upper chest symbolizing her broken heart. Katarina let her hair messy and on loose and had black tribal tattoos on her right arm with blood-like lines that gave hint to her dark and wicked side.

Overall, Rentaro Satomi considers Katarina to be "impossibly beautiful girl" and could easily give the impression of non-civilized people to be a goddess of another world. She has a slender, voluptuous figure and pale skin that has never missed maintenance despite her lack of care for her feminine looks. In all ages, she is woman with long red-haired girl that usually messy but shines in the light with dark scarlet eyes with dark and empty pupils and of average height typical of those from the Westcott Clan heritage.
She appears to be thin but has a voluptuous body of a non-muscular Amazon despite her fighting-personality and possess a very defined and fine body of a young model with almost no body-hair found as part of Mikaela's ExKriegs lineage. Katarina has ivory skin that is said to have unwillingly seduced Tomas Sev.
Katarina had a very growth spurt and was taller than some men thanks to her ExKrieg's heritage, a race that is composed of warriors and women had to grow above men's height to have advantage in combat. She had 1,70 meters (4,5 feet 2 inches) making her one of the tallest members of the Rogues, losing only to Maria Arzonia and Selina Strawberry.
Katarina is also a person with very sharp nails and care little about cutting them but when she let her true side on loose, she painted them with black, hinting her gothic personality and her uncommon love for the black color that was a part of Ike Westcott she inherited. While not being a woman who did efforts to be more feminine, Katarina still had a natural beauty that did not need the usage of make-up to be considered some kind of "Taken Goddess" (an affective nickname given by Ragnarok Iblis) to praise her looks in the middle of a race where women have attractive and god-like beauties.

While her true name was based from Katarina Du Couteau, the authors kept her name like this (the same was kept for part of her character's inspiration, Elesis) because the names were already good enough for the characters but the authors did everything to prevent the characters from the originals works be similar to CIS!Katarina in all points.

In Croatia, it is the fourth most common female given name, or third if combined with the short form Kata, and in Serbia it is within the 10 most popular names for girls born since 1991. The definition of Katarina is a girl who cares for others over herself. Has a great personality and lovable. Once you get to know her, you feel an unbreakable bond that will last a lifetime. She is the one who will back you up for who you are, and would never judge you off anything. Very easy to fall madly in love with her and is insanely beautiful. She treats everyone she knows like they are her own family.

"Couteau" in French means "knife". A knife is a tool with a cutting edge or blade attached to a handle. For living in a Japanese society, Katarina was nicknamed as Red Haired Demon thanks to her scarlet hair. In the Japanese society, a Red Demon is called as "Oni". Oni are a kind of yōkai, supernatural demon, devils, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore. They are typically portrayed as hulking figures with one or more horns growing out of their heads. Stereotypically, they are conceived of as red or blue-colored (green-colored), wearing loincloths of tiger pelt, and carrying iron clubs.
Depictions of oni vary widely but usually portray them as hideous, gigantic ogre-like creatures with a single horn or multiple horns emerging from their heads, with sharp claws and wild hair. They are often depicted wearing tiger-skin loincloths and carrying iron clubs called kanabō. This image leads to the expression "oni with an iron club" , that is, to be invincible or undefeatable. Their skin may be any number of colors, but red, blue, and green are particularly common. They may sometimes also be depicted as black-skinned, or yellow-skinned.They may occasionally be depicted with a third eye on their forehead, or extra fingers and toes.
An old etymology for "oni" is that the word derives from on, the on'yomi reading of a character meaning "to hide or conceal", due to oni having the tendency of "hiding behind things, not wishing to appear". This explanation is found in the 10th century dictionary Wamyōshō, which reveals that the oni at the time had a different meaning, defined as "a soul/spirit of the dead".

Katarina Tirial Couteau is probably the single most important heroic figure of CIS Productions after Spectra himself, the creator of all Lynenta Omniverse, being the character from LOTM: Sword of Kings with more development than any other character in the story besides Imperia Deamonne and Axel Davalos. Since her creation, Katarina had numerous developments that lifted her character over and over again, most of them being related to her internal conflicts and personality, with appearance and story being among the few.
Katarina started as a typical shounen-anime hero with a single purpose to help others and protect the people she loves the most with a tragic background that drove them to become the hero they are today. However, the trope of Shounen Hero was later studied by the author and was deeply despised when the Shounen heroes are too simple-minded, easy to be understand and have very superficial traces that are nothing special or interesting such as Naruto Uzumaki, Midoriya Izuku, Son Goku and Natsu Dragneel (even so the mentioned heroes are inspirations for her character).
Such analysis on the trope drove the authors to rethink her character in 2017 and made her more of an anti-heroine with no sense of empathy for those who were not her friends, something that was given as an excuse for being the daughter of two genocidal maniacs. This is seen at the beginning of Angel Sub Arc where her insanity starts to go away after she was exposed to the energy of her inner twin sister, Elesis. By 2018, her character went from a complete anti-heroine to a TOTAL villain character trying to become a heroine so she could avoid her worst fears while also enjoying the suffering and pain of her enemies.
By 2017, characters like Carl Robinson would become the first villain protagonist of CIS Productions, made the writers to retreat in calling her a villain considering she started an anti-heroine, switched to villain and later became an anti-villain for the rest of the story, being portrayed as a psychopath doing her best to control her urges. Before her freedom, Katarina was actually a psychopath with mental issues trying to become a good person by hiding herself behind her own lies and was somewhat a hypocrite feeling disgust for murderers when she is no different from them. In her new script, Katarina is a total psychopath unleashing her urges but has self-control but makes no efforts to hide this side. But at the same time, she could hold her desires and could still act as the same naive and idiot Katarina she was before.
Through all, Katarina's final development into a psychopath made her the second villain protagonist of CIS Productions, as well as the most complex and deep character of the story with most terrible experiences of life to date made her not a superficial hero but a suffering villain trying to become a decent person for the people around her so she will not end up being forgotten by the people, which, for her, is the worst abyss of solitude there is.

Katarina's Psychosexual (mature)[]
The death of her parents and the suicide of Hana, during Katarina psychosexual phallic stage which was the result of the lack of a mother and father role model might have cost her a fixation in that stage and lead to Katarina's failure to interact with other people, especially her love interests. Katarina, to protect herself and be able to interact with others, created an image of herself where she idealized to be; a pure-hearted heroine. In truth, Katarina has severe depression but that is not the only problem she got in term of psychology.
The so-called psychosexual are defense mechanisms and stages of development by Sigmund Freud and his daughter, Anna Freud combine with speaking model by Dell Hymes. Defense mechanism is the ego-defense of our mind that we will do something to protect our mind from being guilt, anxious and depressed. This theory was conducted by Freud and later developed by his daughter. There are many defense mechanisms such as repression, regression, projection, displacement, reaction formation, denial, undoing and sublimation.
For psychosexual stage of development, Freud believed that all of personality complexes can be trace back when people were kids. There are five stages which are oral, anal, phallic, latency period and genital. If one can pass them properly, that is no problem, but if one cannot pass each stage. It will cause a fixation that affects our psyche when they grow up.

Katarina has employed defense mechanisms at the very beginning. During the middle of the story, Katarina has developed better personality from her good relationship with others before everything seems to be good until what makes her happy has been collapsed like good relationship with everyone especially with Ara Astaroth who revealed she was becoming someone she didn't want to.
Because of Katarina's severe depression, she employs various of defense mechanisms to keep herself alive from guilt by superego where as it can lead her to suicidal action or losing her own identity. She uses denial and false images of herself to run away from reality, starting to believe in her own fakeness. She also has apologizing habit in missions even she did nothing wrong which is the employment of undoing. Moreover, she uses projection that her Hana, who tried to help him, is a bad person for replacing her with a doll for not being a "good girl" enough. Katarina uses displacement to satisfy himself with the use of another helpless person to wipe of her frustrated feelings such as masturbating thinking in Rentaro Satomi, who loves her dearly but only sees him as a sexual tool. The last defense mechanism that has been used the most is the use of sublimation where she pushes her aggression against her enemies who hurt her friends from seeing her comrades being hurt when in truth she is joy of seeing them suffering.

There are two fixations due to psychosexual stages of Katarina which are Oedipus complex and genital stage fixation. The other two stages which are Oral and Anal stage she has passed them properly taken care by her mother, Mikaela Du Tirial, as she was breastfeed. Katarina in oral stage and carry, hold and caress while she is anal stage. However, Katarina's fixation starts at the phallic stage when her foster-mother died and her father tried to kill her while he was drunk.
Katarina has chance to meet her unnamed foster-father only once for a year on the death day of her mother. She and her father will meet at the front of Hana's grave while Katarina visits Haruko and Iruka's graves alone. Katarina lost both of her families, which makes her lacking parental figure and family. Katarina never goes to hiermother gravestone for three years for the hatred of her father as the Oedipus complex progresses. When Katarina meets Tomas Sev days before the Battle of Tokyo between KnightWalker Family and KnightWalker Funeral Parlor. From this phallic stage fixation affect the following stage to in genital stage. She cannot properly handle or approach opposite sex people or her love interest which is Rentaro Satomi which is a unsatisfactory relationship.

The Hedgehog’s Dilemma is a psychologic theory about social problems. In CIS Productions, its manifestation and representation is Katarina Couteau, which makes her yet one of the most complex heroes to date.
The Hedgehog’s Dilemma is a theoretical psychological condition which seeks to explain how some people in conditions of prolonged emotional distress seek shelter from the pain of the world around them. The phenomenon is referred to under the synonym “The Porcupine’s Dilemma” by Freud in a note to his work Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego.
In the story, Ara Astaroth, uses the phenomenon is to explain the emotional status of Katarina to Vira Hermes, saying, “Even though a hedgehog may wish to become close with another hedgehog, the closer they get, the more they injure each other with their spines. It’s the same with some humans. The reason he seems so withdrawn is because he’s afraid of being hurt”. Katarina has many reasons to fear rejection. When Katarina was a young child her mother Hana Langley was lost in an experiment gone wrong, after which her father, abandoned her and tried to kill her alongside her mother. Another case is her rejection by society and other children who saw her as a vicious thug. The extreme lack of self-confidence and fear of rejection which resulted from these traumatic childhood experiences cause Katarina to withdraw from the company of others and avoid feeling attachment, only keeping them as friends but keeping distance from them as she only wants their love and praise.
Katarina, keeping herself away from others
When she thought about being herself, she thought everyone would hate her for being a cruel sadistic woman who only wanted to enjoy the pain and suffering from the World War III. While eliminating interactions with others does prevent the trauma of abandonment and loss, it deprives one of the ability to achieve any true degree of pleasure, only allowing a state of empty ambivalence. The psyche, while ostensibly motivated to seek pleasure and avoid pain, can at times execute courses of development which only serve to exacerbate the suffering and limit the fulfillment of an individual. The course of development taken by a person is the result of the relative strengths of the desire for pleasure versus the fear of pain. This dichotomy is one of the most basic factors governing human behavior and the operation of civilization itself.
Judging by the relative extroversion of society at large, it would seem that in most cases, the desire for pleasure exceeds the fear of the pain relationships with others all but inevitably bring. Thus, the experiences which a person undergoes in life, through positive and negative reinforcement can shape the manifestation of the ego significantly.
Animal Motif - Black Wolf[]
A black wolf is a melanistic colour variant of the gray wolf (Canis lupus). Black specimens are recorded among red wolves (Canis rufus), though the phase is probably now extinct. Genetic research from the Stanford University School of Medicine and the University of California, Los Angeles revealed that wolves with black pelts owe their distinctive coloration to a mutation which occurred in domestic dogs, and was carried to wolves through wolf-dog hybridization. Besides coat and knee colour, they are normal grey wolves.
Black wolves were occasionally reported in Asia. The "Derboun" of the Arabian mountains and southern Syria was a small black wolf which apparently was considered by the Arabs to be more closely related to dogs, as they freely ate its flesh like any other game, unlike with regular wolves which had an unpleasant odour. Black wolves in Tibet are known locally as chanko nagpo, and are considered bolder and more aggressive than the pale coloured variety. Small populations inhabit Ladakh.
As black-colored wolves occur more frequently in forested areas than on the tundra (black coats occur in about 62% of wolves in the forested areas of the Canadian Arctic, compared with about 7% in the icy tundra), melanism was concluded by the researchers to give those wolves an adaptive advantage. The mutation's purpose has not yet been identified. Dr. Barsh ruled out camouflage, as wolves have few natural predators, and there is no evidence that a black coat color leads to any increase in hunting success rates. Dr. Barsh observed that beta-defensin is involved in providing immunity to viral and bacterial skin infections, which might be more common in forested, warmer environments. It has been suggested that the mutation's association with forested habitats means that the prevalence of melanism should increase as forests expand northward. Dark fur is believed to be dominant in wolves. A mating between a black and a gray wolf resulted in 10 pups with dark fur out of a total of 14.

Hod (Hebrew הוד howd "majesty, splendour, glory") is the eighth sephira of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Hod sits below Gevurah and across from Netzach in the tree of life; Yesod is to the south-east of Hod. It has four paths, which lead to Gevurah, Tiphereth, Netzach, and Yesod. All the sephirot are likened to different parts of the body, and Netzach and Hod are likened to the two feet of a person i.e. the right and left foot. The feet are usually only the means for a person's activity. While the hands are the main instrument of action, the feet help bring a person to the place where he wishes to execute that action.
Hod is described as being a force that breaks down energy into different, distinguishable forms, and it is associated with intellectuality, learning and ritual, as opposed to Netzach, Victory, which is the power of energy to overcome all barriers and limitations, and is associated with emotion and passion, music and dancing. Both these forces find balance in Yesod, foundation, the world of the unconscious, where the different energies created await expression in the lowest world of Malkuth, the Kingdom. The archangel of this sphere is Michael, and the Bene Elohim is the Angelic order. The opposing demonic order in the Qliphoth is Samael, headed by the Archdemon Adrammelech. Hod is said to be the sphere in which the magician mostly works. An example is given by Dion Fortune in The Mystical Qabalah: Imagine primitive man is meditating in the wilderness, and comes in contact with, and begins to understand, some energy that surrounds him. So that he can grasp it better, he creates some form, perhaps the form of a god or a symbol, so he has something he can relate to. He then uses that statue or that symbol in future ceremonies to contact that intangible energy once again.
This is the role that Hod plays in magic, while the music and dance that may be present in such a ceremony is the role that Netzach might play, providing the raw energy to reach the higher levels of consciousness. In comparison with Eastern systems, both Hod and Netzach are sometimes associated with the Manipura chakra, which is associated with the breaking down and releasing of energy, anabolism and catabolism.
Qlipha - Desolation[]
Samael, the Angel of Death.
Samael is Desolation of God, or The Left Hand “. Hod is the complex working of the will of the Absolute. Samael represents the barren desolation of a fallen and failed creation. The outer form is Theuniel, 'The filthy Wailing Ones of God'.” Adrammelech: Powerful King. He is an important archangel in Talmudic and post-Talmudic lore, a figure who is the accuser (Ha-Satan), seducer, and destroyer (Mashhit), and has been regarded as both good and evil. Rabbinical writings describe Samael as the guardian angel of Esau and a patron of Edom.
To Samael, Adrammelech is attributed. “This name is found in Fourth Kings: XVII, 29-31: ' And the men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima, and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.”
He is considered in Talmudic texts to be a member of the heavenly host (with often grim and destructive duties). One of Samael's greatest roles in Jewish lore is that of the main archangel of death. He remains one of God's servants even though he condones the sins of man. As an angel, Samael resides in the seventh heaven, although he is declared to be the chief angel of the fifth heaven, the reason for this being the presence of the throne of glory in the seventh heaven.
In Judaism, Samael is said to be the angel of death, and the title "Satan" is accorded to him. While Satan describes his function as an accuser, Samael is considered to be his proper name. While Michael defends Israel's actions, Samael tempts people to sin. He is also depicted as the angel of death and one of the seven archangels, the ruler over the Fifth Heaven and commander of two million angels such as the chief of other satans. Yalkut Shimoni, presents Samael as Esau's guardian angel.
Symbolism[]
Katarina is represented by the the Black Widow spider species. Latrodectus is a broadly distributed genus of spiders with several species that together are referred to as true widows. This group is composed of those often loosely called black widow spider, brown widow spiders, and similar spiders. However, such general "common names" are of limited use as the diversity of species is much greater. A member of the Theridiidae family, this genus contains 32 species, which include several North American "Black Widows" (Southern Black Widow Latrodectus mactans, Western Black Widow Latrodectus hesperus, and Northern Black Widow Latrodectus variolus). In addition to these in North America are also the Red Widow Latrodectus bishopi and the Brown Widow Latrodectus geometricus, which, in addition to North America, has a much wider geographic distribution. Elsewhere, others include the European black widow (Latrodectus tredecimguttatus), the Australian Redback Black Widow (Latrodectus hasseltii) or several different species in Southern Africa that can be called Button spiders.
Species vary widely in size. In most cases, the females are dark-coloured, but some may have lighter bodies or even reddish. Many can have red, white or brown markings on the upper-side (dorsal) of the abdomen. Some can be readily identifiable by reddish markings on the central underside (ventral) abdomen, which are often hourglass-shaped. These small spiders have an unusually potent venom containing the neurotoxin latrotoxin, which causes the condition latrodectism, both named after the genus. Female widow spiders have unusually large venom glands and their bite can be particularly harmful to large vertebrates, including humans. Only the bites of the females are dangerous to humans. Despite their notoriety, Latrodectus bites rarely cause death or produce serious complications.
The prevalence of sexual cannibalism, a behaviour in which the female eats the male after mating, has inspired the common name "widow spiders". This behaviour may promote the survival odds of the offspring; however, females of some species only rarely show this behaviour, and much of the documented evidence for sexual cannibalism has been observed in laboratory cages where the males could not escape. Male black widow spiders tend to select their mates by determining if the female has eaten already to avoid being eaten themselves. They are able to tell if the female has fed by sensing chemicals in the web.
Like other members of the Theridiidae, widow spiders construct a web of irregular, tangled, sticky silken fibres. Black widow spiders prefer to nest near the ground in dark and undisturbed areas, usually in small holes produced by animals, or around construction openings or wood piles. Indoor nests are in dark, undisturbed places such as under desks or furniture or in a basement. The spider frequently hangs upside down near the centre of its web and waits for insects to blunder in and get stuck. Then, before the insect can extricate itself, the spider rushes over to envenomate and wrap it in silk. To feed, the spider's mouth pulses digestive juices over the prey, which liquifies—and then the spider internalizes by capillary action, sucking the slurry into its mouth. Their prey consists of small insects such as flies, mosquitoes, grasshoppers, beetles, and caterpillars. If the spider perceives a threat, it quickly lets itself down to the ground on a safety line of silk.

A gust of wind blew cold night air from the garden, carrying with it enticing scents of overripe fruit and blooming flowers. Katarina, or better, Elesis Du Tirial, stood before the garden's entrance, where stone transitioned to soil and narrow labyrinthine caves opened to the sky in a deep caldera. Thickets of trees and brambles grew wild beneath the moonlight, while flowers bloomed in lush abundance. Elesis hesitated, knowing well the twin nature of danger and beauty. She had heard legends of the sacred grove since she joined the battle against Balam Alliance... A battle that was over 4,000,000,000 years ago but had never before traversed the southern caverns to find it. According to the stories, those who stepped over the threshold of the garden began as one person and left as someone else entirely, or did not leave at all.
Whatever the truth might be, Elesis had made up her mind. As she stepped into the garden, the back of her neck prickled as if someone were watching her. No figure was visible amongst the trees, but the garden was far from still. Everywhere Elesis looked, new flowers bloomed with each passing second. Elesis walked a winding path through the tangle of plants, stepping over roots rumbling beneath the soil. She ducked under hanging vines that reached out to her as if clamoring for affection. She could have sworn she heard a hush from the soft rustling of leaves.
Moonbeams shone through the canopy above, revealing trees bearing leaves of silver and gold. Flower stalks entwined around their trunks, curling to display dazzling buds brighter than any gemstone. Plump spice-cherries coated in a layer of frost chimed softly as they swayed amid an untamed thicket.
A snow lily stretched toward Elesis’ face and caressed her cheek gently. It was too alluring to resist. Elesis pressed her face into its petals to inhale its heady scent. Her nose chilled and she took in the faint smell of oranges, the summer breeze, and the tang of a fresh kill. The blossom trembled as it blushed with color, and Elesis' breath caught in her throat. She swayed, dizzy at the flower’s perfume.
Snip.
The snow lily fell to the soil, severed at its stem. A viscous liquid seeped from the cut. Elesis let out a breath as her head returned to normal.
Elesis startled as a woman with wisps of gray-white hair stood before her, shears in hand. She was wrapped in colorful shawls and her eyelashes sparkled with dew.
As the woman turned her sea-green gaze to Elesis, Elesis felt a strange unease, as if this woman could slice through her gut just as easily as a fibrous stalk. The woman’s face, emotionless like tree bark, was impossible to read. But Elesis was no longer concerned for her own safety.
“You startled me, Ighilya,” said Elesis. In the stories, the old woman was known as the Eater of Secrets, the Forgotten, or the Witch Gardener. Wanting to show respect to one with such power, Elesis decided to call her Ighilya. Great grandmother.
“The flowers want something from us,” she said. “Just as we seek something from them. It would be wise to keep your nose to yourself. I would know. I have to feed these hungry babies myself.”
“So you are the Gardener,” said Elesis.
“One of my kinder names, yes. But quite beside the point. I know why you’re here, Iminha.”
Little one. Elesis felt uncomfortable at the word, often used in a familial relationship, though she was not sure why.
“You seek absolution. Freedom from your pain,” said the Gardener.
She stepped over a shrinking fern and beckoned to Elesis.
“Come.”
As they walked through the moonlit garden, flowers turned to face the old woman as if she were the sun itself, warming their leaves and helping them grow. Or perhaps the flowers did not wish to turn their backs to her.
The old woman waved Elesis to a bench in front of a gnarled cloudfruit tree, and sat opposite her.
“Let me guess. You were in love,” the Gardener said, a smile crinkling the corners of her lips.
Elesis’ brow furrowed.
“Don’t worry, you’re far from the first,” said the old woman. “So, who was he? A soldier? An adventurer? A warrior in exile?”
“Nothing of the type... He was normal... He was a student... A classmate of mine during my childhood days. Back then, when I had only 24-years old, I was still a child. I see that now” said Elesis. She had not uttered the syllables of her name in over a year and could not bring herself to say them now. They were like swallowing broken glass.
“But he was also an artist. He loved painted... flowers. He was fragile, stupid, naive but yet so kind, gentle and brave when the situation called... What's his name... It's been 4 billion years... It's been so long that I even forgot his name and face... I'm such moron.”
“Ah. A romantic,” the Gardener said.
“I killed him,” Elesis spat. “Is that romantic enough for you?”
As she spoke the truth aloud, Elesis could not disguise the sharp bitterness on her tongue.
“I sucked the life from his lips as he lay dying in my arms during that horrible battle against... What was her name... I think it was Diaba or Diabla...,” she said. “He was kinder, more selfless than anyone had a right to be. I thought I could suppress my urges by letting us be friends forever but I devoured his soul before he could die in peace. The taste of her dreams and memories was too enticing. He urged me on. I did not resist. And now - now I cannot go on knowing what I did. Please, Ighilya. Can you give me the gift of oblivion? Can you make me forget of him? Can you free his soul from my body?”
The Gardener did not answer. She stood and picked a ripe cloudfruit from the tree and peeled it slowly, carefully, so the rind remained in one piece. The flesh fell into six vermillion segments, which she offered to Elesis.
“Care for a slice?”
Elesis stared at her.
“Don’t worry, this one doesn’t want anything from you. Not like the flowers. Fruit never does. Fruit is the most generous part of a plant - it strives to be luscious and juicy - and tempting. It simply wants to attract.”
“Food turns to ash in my mouth,” said Elesis. “How can I feed myself when I am no more than a monster? Since I became an Taken--No, since I awoke my Taken powers from my dad--Isaac Westcott, I can longer eat normal food.”
“Even monsters need to eat, you know,” the Gardener said, smiling gently.
She placed one of the cloudfruit segments into her mouth, and chewed before making a face.
“Tart! In all my years in the garden, I’ve never gotten used to the tang.”
The old woman ate the remaining pieces while Elesis sat in silence. When she was finished she wiped the juice from her mouth.
“So you stole a life that was not yours to take,” said the Gardener. “Now you suffer the consequences.”
“I cannot stand it,” Elesis said.
“To be alive is to be in pain, I’m afraid,” the Gardener said.
A vine dripping with snow lily buds wound its way around the old woman’s arm. The woman did not flinch.
“I can’t go on knowing that I killed him,” Elesis pleaded.
“There are greater consequences to losing yourself, Iminha.”
The Gardener reached for Elesis' hand and squeezed it. Her red eyes glinted in the moonlight, and Elesis detected something she had not seen before - longing, perhaps?
“You will be broken,” said the old woman. “You will never again be one.”
“I am already in fragments like my father who had trillions of souls inside of him like Astaroth who had billions of souls inside of her,” Elesis replied, “and every second that passes, I split myself anew. Please, Ighilya. I must do this!”
The old woman sighed.
“This garden will not refuse a gift freely given, for it always hungers.”
With that, the Gardener offered her arm to Elesis, still entwined with the vine of snow lilies. Buds unfurled like outstretched hands.
“Give your breath to this flower as you think on the memories you wish to be rid of,” the old woman said, gesturing to the bell shaped lily. “The flower will consume them. Do not inhale again until you feel nothing.”
Elesis held the flower gently between her fingers. The Gardener nodded. Elesis took a deep breath and exhaled into the flower.
...Elesis stood next to a raven-haired man at the edge of a lake. Together they leapt into the water and screamed as they frolicked over endless waves... That boy was long lover who died 4 billion years ago, Rentaro Satomi.
Elesis’ suffering dissolved like a cloud along with the image in her mind.
...in a forest silenced by winter, Elesis watched a raven-haired man painting a single blossom. “Am I not your flower?” she asked. He lifted his brush and smeared paint over her bare back. The bristles tingled as he recreated the flower atop her spine. “You are, you are,” he repeated, kissing her shoulder with each word.
Elesis knew she should dread what would happen next, but her heart was growing cold and numb.
...she stood at the center of a lake, holding the lifeless body of the man she once loved. He dipped beneath the water, becoming contorted through its glassy refraction.
Once, this vision would have caused stabbing pain, but Elesis felt no more than a dull ache.
...Elesis leaned over a fallen woodcutter in a stone cavern, consuming his life. At the sound of boots crunching on snow, she startled. The raven-haired man stood, watching. Elesis despaired; she had not wanted him to see this.
“I can't be good enough for you,” Elesis said. “Look at me, greedy for the soul of a dying man. Please, leave me. I am not good. I cannot be good.”
Her raven-haired love responded. “I don't care.” This was the first time Elesis remembered someone loving her wholly accepting her true nature... Even Imperia Deamonne had how her own doubts in Katarina and Elesis due to their split personality. His voice was warm and deep with emotion. “I am yours.”
The memory caught in Elesis’ throat and she stopped breathing, breaking the flower’s spell.
No, she thought. I can’t lose this.
Elesis tried to inhale, but the air felt like a noose around her neck. It choked her and stifled her throat, as if she were breathing poison. Her vision blackened, but she gasped until her lungs were nearly bursting.
Losing this would kill him all over again.
Elesis’ knees gave out and she collapsed on the ground, still gripping the snow lily. The unnatural perfume she inhaled from the flower percolated through her mind, conjuring strange and disturbing visions.
Elesis hallucinated. In a snow-silenced forest, she envisioned each of her Taken tals ripped from her spine, only to grow back so they could be torn off again.
In a stone cavern, she saw dozens of portraits of herself painted in inky black brushstrokes. In each of the images, her face was blank and cold. Each image was showing her dark nature, a sadistic and cruel side of hers.
She floated, weightless, at the center of a lake, and looked down to see that the lake was filled, not with water, but blood.
"Where are you?"
In her mind’s eye, she saw a face warped by the endless folds of her memory, one she was already forgetting. The face was blurred, like a painting of a man rather than the man himself. He looked at her, stared into her, but she could not meet his gaze.
Elesis opened her eyes. The Gardener was standing above her, holding the vine of snow lilies, which had turned raven-black.
“Can you still see him?” asked the old woman.
Elesis focused on the hazy shapes in her mind and focused until they materialized into a face. His face.
“Yes. It’s cloudy, but... I remember,” said Elesis. She fixed the image of his face in her mind, memorizing every detail. She would not let it dissolve.
The old woman’s eyes flashed - not with longing, but regret.
“Then you did what many had not the strength to do. You did not succumb to peace,” said the Gardener.
“I couldn’t,” said Elesis, choking over her words. “I couldn’t give him up. Even if I am a monster. Even if each day I fall apart and each day I must bear the pain a hundred times over. Oblivion is worse, much worse.”
Oblivion was a thousand blurry faces staring at her with empty eyes.
“You cannot take back what you gave, Iminha,” the Gardener said. “The flowers do not relinquish what was freely given. But you may keep what remains. Go, go. Elesis tried to stand, but a vine of snow lilies had wound its way around her Taken tails. She struggled against their tightening clutches, prying barbs from her fur, then scrambled to her feet and ran. Knotted roots broke loose from the soil, trying to ensnare her as she leapt between them. A tangled curtain of thorned moon roses swerved to block Elesis’ path, but she held her breath and dove beneath the flowers, which caught wisps of her hair as she tumbled.
The path from the garden was overgrown with snow lilies of all colors. Their leaves, sharp as knives, slashed at Elesis' skin, while thick stalks coiled around her face and neck, binding her mouth. Elesis bit down and ripped through the fibers with her teeth, tasting sour blood. She tore through the archway to the stone caverns beyond.
She could just make out the Gardener’s voice.
“A piece of you lingers here, always,” the old woman called. “Unlike us, the garden does not forget.”
Elesis did not turn back but replied.

Katarina is the definition of the “shrinking violet” archetype. She is shy, clumsy, and tends to get worked up over the smallest things. Katarina is extremely self-conscious, especially regarding her notoriously her lazyness. She can be socially awkward at times, but this has actually served as an endearing trait, which earned her Wáng and Yuuchiro's friendship. In spite of this, she is shown to be quite passionate and determined when motivated, and is loyal to her friends and allies.
Originally as an infant ExKrieg, Katarina was programmed with intense hostility to carry massacres and death to all sentient life on Earth since it was Elesis in control of the body. When found by Haruko Couteau, she was unruly and aggressive, although this was seemingly only when worked up as when initially found by Haruko, she quickly took a liking to the woman. However, after the head injury that caused her to lose her memory and emotions as an ExKrieg along with her more violent tendencies, Elesis became well known for herenergetic and caring personality after a new entity was born in her body, an entity called "Katarina Couteau" that took over the body of Elesis, and displayed new traits she seemed to inherit from her mother.
She was also taught to be respectful to others by Haruko. She takes most situations in stride, she rarely lets things get her worked up; she quickly got over losing a game. She is however not without fear. Katarina is shown to be scared of overbearing women, even to the point of Lucas jokingly declaring that for all her universal-class might, she is terrified to face her own sister, Imperia Deamonne. She is also has a crippling fear of needles. She is also not beyond feeling sorrow, most noticeably seen from the loss of Eugen Katsuragi. She also shows genuine concern for the well-being of those close to her despite her bloodlust tendencies.
Katarina's insanity
Katarina is carefree and reckless in nature, and, despite her consistent brawls with the other members of the Rogues, she is a fiercely loyal and protective friend. She is willing to go down fighting for her friends, regardless of how futile it might seem, this was developed after she lost Eugen during her fight with Aki Honda. Katarina has a straightforward mind, and often tackles issues with a "hands on" approach. Her solution to problems often involve violence and death, such as solving all problems by killing every single one of her enemies without mercy, something that even some Rogues refuses to accept. Even when disrespected or faced with obvious hostility, Katarina rarely ever reciprocates the feelings, and often forgoes grudge-holding. She did, however, for a short time, hold a grudge against Jin Kisaragi but eventually forgave him and considered him an ally.
Due to her horrible cooking, when her customers vomit onto the Fraxinus' floor, she instructs Oriax Wheelahr to clean up the scraps, and scares her by saying phrases such as "roast bird" if she complains, hinting she may roast the demon or she is just being sarcastic considering Katarina is not psychotic enough to kill her own friends in terrible ways. She is also shown to be very bawdy and loves to frequently tell jokes. Occasionally, she takes advantage of Mash's naivety and gropes her breasts, not even ashamed of doing so in public, she is a rare example of a perverted woman who loves teasing other women using their bodies. This happened once with Maria Arzonia but the latter slapped her before she could do something. She also has a strong sense of justice and is willing to help people in distress. Even when she is severely injured, she tries not to show weakness, and stays strong in front of her companions while enjoying the heat of the battle. She holds resentment for herself, deeming herself a failure as an older sister to Vira Hermes and being naive enough to be deceived by Michael Langdon.

Her simple nature often comes off as naïve, which often makes many incorrectly assume her to be somewhat stupid. Despite this, Katarina is remarkably effective at applying herself once properly motivated, able to quickly comprehend the situation and likewise learn the basics of anything presented to her, if not master it. When taking a firsthand experience, Katarina is shown to be incredibly perceptive and intuitive, quickly able to analyze the situation and formulate an effective countermeasure be it a fight or even an entire battlefield where she can lead troops and even entires armadas into combat with effective strategies and plans to defeat the enemy. Also very methodical and tactical in her approach, she even saw through the limits of her transformations and chose to instead refine her normal base form without transformating, impressing even her rival Azul Jissele at the crafty and innovative idea.
One of the many interesting things about her is her hobby to dress as a man or using male outfits. At the time of her school, she was often seen using a male uniform rather than dressed in the proper female uniform of the school. In addition, she was often seen dressed as a butler in festivals and even using male business suit. This was considered to be her only tomboy side displayed while she often acts like a sloppy and wild woman rather than a man. Katarina seems to think very little of her ExKrieg family, having never learned the good traits of her parents (Isaac Westcott had none). Even more, when she first learned of her ExKrieg heritage, she rejected it out of horror and disgust at being from a race of vicious killers, though she ultimately embraced her heritage. Katarina and Azul have a very one-sided relationship. Their rivalry seems mostly one-sided as Katarina is generally friendly towards Azul and recognizes her abilities as a fighter, although Katarina does get competitive with Azul as seen from learning that Azul left without her to train. While Katarina and Azul have trouble working together, due to their conflicting personalities and Azul's continue desire to best Katarina, they both respect and motivate each other to grow stronger. While Katarina is generally friendly towards Azul, Katarina is not above teasing her.
Katarina's confused face
Katarina's past continues to influence who she is and how she acts. She admitted that she believes that having a loving family is all someone really needs in life, due to her lack of a family during her childhood as she lived with a family only half of her childhood. She also has many childish personality traits despite her age, and has even called herself a "child in a woman's body." One such trait is her insatiable love for sweets, which has placed her at a risk of getting diabetes several times. Her favorite food is chocolate parfait and she loves chugging down strawberry milk whenever she gets access to it.
Despite her tomboyish tendencies, she also has many girly traits to her character including an interest in cute animals. Katarina says that she can only recognize Oriax Wheelahr by her cat ears, which she cuddles with if given the chance. Katarina is also obsessed with the panda Lao Jiu because of its adorable appearance. She even talsk to animals thinking they will understand her, which happens to understand considering her Taken's genes that allow her to communicate with sea creatures like fish, shrimp, shark, whales, octopuses, jellyfish and even plankton.
While Katarina is initially is sweet and friendly by nature, but she can be quite scary when threatened or angry. Certain situations in the story cause her personality to change dramatically when her own friends lie to her which strongly suggests that she does hate lies, especially from friends. She does not seem to bother with her own enemies lying to her as it was already expected.
Katarina is also seen referring herself as "ugly" many times, often comparing her appearance and body size with other girls but this is obviously an absurd as she is considering to be one of the most beautiful women in New Conglomerate and Ratatoskr alongside Cassie Cage, Atala Arck and Imperia Deamonne. Though several male characters have shown an interest in Katarina such as Rentaro Satomi, Tomas Sev, Darth Hades and Myouri. At times, even Kyouhei Kannazuki (who gets excited around almost all women) put Katarina in his Most Wanted Women in Ratatoskr which had the help of other men of Ratatoskr.
In conjunction, Katarina also holds a great affinity for humans who take pride in themselves, often expressing her desire to die by a human/mortal instead of dying by a demon, angel or even a Cyborg. She often shows respect for certain humans for their bravery, such as the mortal Iscariot members who fought through Ara Astaroth's undead army using only weapons and not magic like the Cultus Pythonissam would do. Katarina has expressed extreme disgust with the Mafusa Gangsters she has been hunting for the years, especially when they kill without purpose. 5 billion years later, Katarina seems deeply sad and envious of mortals, for they are blessed with the gift of death due to the point they've attacked or provoked her. While she herself is unable to die and must walk the Multi-Universe for eternity. Over the course of her existence, Katarina has come to realize that life needs death to make it precious.
Another important aspect of Katarina's personality is her relationship with God. She believed that words alone were not enough to establish one's faith. Rather, she believed that the only way to attract God's attention was to accomplish deeds in His name. In accordance with this belief, she never asked God for favors, but instead did many great and terrible things while thinking good and evil didn't exist and so she could torture and kill as a many Mafusa gangsters she wanted since they were "evil" and she believed she would not pay for any of those crimes. She became famous and feared for punishing evildoers and those who opposed her methods in Tenguu City and abroad, for waging a war against the crime in hopes of bringing down "the world of crime". After losing Eugen, she felt abandoned by the world (with the exception of La Folia Rihavein, Mana Takamiya and Rentaro Satomi) and abandoned by God and began to hate religion while using the excuse she is a monster and has no rights to obey any "false god" but later her hate against God later deteriorated and she accepts the possibility that it was her own hatred against those who wronged her in her youth that drove her actions. That she used the name of God to mask her own bloodlust.
Katarina's confident smile
Katarina is often considered a tomboy; a very brave, strong and heroic young woman who is not afraid to question the orders of her superiors from Global Pact Defense if they cross with her personal beliefs such as the death of innocent people who are not her enemies. Her devotion to morals and integrity is rather unusual, considering her horrid past. However, she is a loyal and trustworthy soldier who will diligently follow the orders of her commander, provided said commander has proven his or her worth.
Her level of maturity in comparison to the other characters is somewhat questionable; she seems to be the child the others could not be, yet possessing a sort of worldly maturity and superficial intelligence that most other characters lack, as well as a sort of 'nature winning against nurture' mentality, as opposed to most other characters. She's the "light that stands out from the darkness" considering that she at least have more of a realistic personality among ther members of the Rogues who have an unique personality while she display both light and darkness in the same person.
Katarina in Kawaii Mode
Katarina also possesses a signature "Cute Mode," or "Kawaii Mode" a comic relief quirk which is instigated when she is embarrassed or when she finds something cute. Once she enters Kawaii Mode, Katarina's senses are heightened to an extreme extent, making her inhumanly agile and vigorous. This causes frequent trouble for many of the Rogues members who have to expend all of their energy to barely control her; Lucas and Tomas have been knocked out cold a large number of times by Katarina's flurries of punches, while Yoshino have often been kidnapped (especially when she was wearing the Rogues' punishment outfits).
Cassie describes Katarina and Katarina is often portrayed, as being hostile towards people who make light of or express disbelief in the existence of demons and otherwordly beings. This attitude is due to her experience with it and her actually correct believe that Hell exists. On the other hand, she, like Tomas Sev, often empathizes with and can identify people who are afflicted with involvement with supernatural events.
Despite her good traces as Katarina, she can be even more deadly and scared than her own "teacher", Maria Arzonia, who taught her how to control her inner darkness.
Despite all her peculiar traits and habits (with her trademark dimwitted behavior), Katarina's most defining part of her personality is the ability to make allies out of absolutely anyone (including former enemies, villains and even Valaine and Discordia themselves), which is said by many Gods to be the most dangerous Devils of the the Underworld in the world. Her stubbornness was taken up to ridiculous levels when she managed to free herself from Ara's mind control by merely punching herself. When Katarina is brainwashed by Diabla the Qliphoth Tyrant after being forced to eat the the Blackness of Diabla, her personality changes to be wild and sadistic, destroying everything around her without reason, which is a more destructive version of Ara Astaroth's Blackness.

"Don't leave me..."
Much of Katarina's past personality is a façade, a hypocrital façade to hide her true weak and fragile subconsciouness. When she joined Ratatosk, she did everything they order without questioning it, choosing simply to go along with what everyone else says. Though Katarina denies it, she yearns for praise, and she eventually begins to fight to gain the approval and praise of others just so she can be remembered by everyone as a heroine while taking advantage of her image to free herself from her social chains in causing pain and suffering in her enemies so she can enjoy her sadistic pleasure in secret of eveyone.
She also continually tells her self "I mustn't run away!", further demonstrating her need to move forward and let go of the past but it's later revealed to be a "I prefer to be the predator than the prey" case where she is tired of being the only one suffering. Katarina shows a great fear of emotional pain and of being hated or left behind, likely due to her perception of being abandoned in her youth and, subsequently, blaming herself for not being good enough to make her mother, Hana Langley stick around as she replaced her with a doll.
In general, Katarina is shown to be introverted and disconnected from physical reality due to having little to no real meaningful contact with others as she formed friends based in her false image of being a heroine rather than herself. In social party situations, she is shown to be quite uncomfortable, and she often has difficulty controlling her emotions around others due to her hard time letting go of the past. She is shown to the extreme of this, forsaking many lives (even her own) to save one person. Due to Katarina's high nostalgia and fragile emotional state, she chooses to shut out the world by trying her best to be the heroine she ideolized to be.
Through all this, Katarina is also aware of her own faults, has a detailed memory of the past, and generally is outwardly gentle. She is the only one who tries to find a reason to fight, and sometimes her justification for fleeing from being herself is to avoid hurting others she love the most. In sense, Katarina is a sadist psychopath trying her best to be a good person but her insanity always take her to the wrong place. Making her different from all psychopaths in real-life who don't even try to undertand what is right and wrong.
Black Demon - Red Moon[]
Katarina as the Red Moon Tyrant
As the Red Moon Tyrant, her Black Demon version, she is much more mature and cold almost never displaying emotions to the point of being compared to a robot. Red's defining trait is her sadism. Red loves inflicting pain and misery on others around her. Red views everyone around her as a plaything that she could torture to her heart's content. When she looked back into her past as Katarina, she grew envious of the affection that Katarina received from her parents and her new friend, and decided that stealing what belonged to others would satiate her sense of Truloneliness.
Red unlike Katarina who solved most of her problem with her fists, she is a skilled manipulator, having manipulated people to meet her ends such as playing mind games with children into making them jump from buildings just like Heis. Red gets off on the suffering of her victims so much so, even Vira Hermes, is disgusted by her and denies her existence as she is not the lovable and naive Katarina that Vira loves. Besides enjoying the pain of others, Red also gets aroused by receiving injuries as evidenced by her becoming ecstatic when Imperia cuts her hand with one of her knives. In addition, Red is blunt, sarcastic and quite sadistic (even more than Katarina), revealing a psychotic grin or laughing maniacally whenever she becomes excited. She is also very rude and quite disrespectful towards her underlings who she has no respect whatsoever.
In battle, Red is merciless and almost unstoppable due to her abilities. She has a habit of hissing during fights, and often loses all control of herself much like Katarina. Despite this, she can stop himself and focus on her mission. She shows a greater sense of morality both in her treatment of the orphans under her care and her eventual assistance to Ratatoskr and betrayal of Crauz (who becomes drunk with power and starts disobeying her orders). Her complexity is later demonstrated by her respect for Wáng's conviction and for Sephiria Arks KnightWalker's bravery.
Future Personality[]
Katarina's hell glare
In LOTM: A Draw of Kings, her personality changed to a rather quick-tempered, resorting more often to steel-fisted violence than calm negotiation to settle disputes. She has a reputation for being foul-mouthed and is an incurably sarcastic cynic, only too happy to bluntly and harshly relieve others of their comfortable delusions regarding god, reality, or their own self-importance. Katarina has also displayed a propensity towards impatience and an inability to sit still for long, which perhaps contributes to her love of travel. However, for those few people who have made an impact on her, Katarina shows her deeper nature to be one of marked selflessness, unflinching loyalty, and great compassion.
As someone who had to suffer greatly at such a young age, Katarina cannot ignore the true suffering of others and becomes sympathetic upon sensing pain and resolve in people's hearts. While she says she is above letting innocents die to protect her loved ones, she can't really simply watch them die or suffer because of her action. Though her solemn advice to such people is often tempered with brusque criticism, it is only because she genuinely wishes to place them on the most direct path forward. Aside from that, Katarina despises those who mistreat their allies in any way, even if they are her own enemies. She was disgusted when Dibala calls Demonio and Madness as "trash", implying she has no sympathy for those who don't trust even in their own subordinates.
One of Katarina's most notable character traits that would persist well into her adulthood is her love of competition; Katarina has always enjoyed the thrill of a challenge, be it fighting against a new opponent, or taking on a new training regime. Tying into her love of competition is preferring a fair fight. Though this is a trait more common as an adult than as a teenage, Katarina prefers to fight fair when the option is available, going as far as to allow her strongest enemies to even the most hated enemies. Despite this, Katarina is capable of pragmatism when the situations calls for it.
Possibly stemming from being falling on her head as a baby, Katarina displays characteristics of someone with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, often acting on impulse and not taking other people's reactions into consideration of her actions as well as doing certain actions when the timing is not appropriate. Her action may seem to affect hee teammates but she still show zero importance. An example was when Katarina destroyed the former base of the Rogues after opening a plasma missile and ended destroying the entire arsenal, yet she still showed no importance to her actions and always find a proper excuse for her actions.
Although Katarina has no trouble interacting with her friends, she does have trouble actually making them, and once admits that seeing new weapons "is like meeting new people, but better". This could have been a result of her having joined a team full of more experienced war veterans, as well as interact with people that are both older and more experienced than she is. Katarina also has a sweet tooth, preferring five sugars in her coffee and scarfing down a large plate of cookies. She is even seen with a plate of cookies, while her friends are eating more nutritious meals as shown in Tales of a Lost Hero Part 1.

Lust Murder[]
A lust murder is a homicide in which the offender searches for erotic satisfaction by killing someone. Lust murder is synonymous with the paraphilic term erotophonophilia, which is sexual arousal or gratification contingent on the death of a human being. The phrase "lust killing" stems from the original work of Richard von Krafft-Ebing in his 1898 discussion of sadistic homicides. Sexual Sadism Disorder[]
Sexual sadism disorder is the condition of experiencing sexual arousal in response to the extreme pain, suffering or humiliation of others. Several other terms have been used to describe the condition, and the condition may overlap with other conditions that involve inflicting pain. It is distinct from situations in which consenting individuals use mild or simulated pain or humiliation for sexual excitement. Psychopathy[]
Psychopaths are people who exhibit a constellation of antisocial personality disorder traits which include antisocial, sadistic, narcissistic, and borderline behaviour, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships and extreme egocentricity. They also do not learn from failure and take it out on others. Psychopathy is sometimes used synonymously with sociopathy, is traditionally defined as a personality disordercharacterized by persistent impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, egotistical traits. Sadism[]
Sadism involves gaining pleasure from seeing others undergo discomfort or pain. The opponent-process theory explains the way in which individuals not only display, but also take enjoyment in committing sadistic acts.[clarification needed] Individuals possessing sadistic personalities tend to display recurrent aggression and cruel behavior. Sadism can also include the use of emotional cruelty, purposefully manipulating others through the use of fear, and a preoccupation with violence.
There were four subtypes of sadism, which he termed Enforcing sadism, Explosive sadism, Spineless sadism, and Tyrannical sadism.
Dissociative Identity Disorder[]
Dissociative identity disorder (DID), previously known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), is a mental disorder characterized by at least two distinct and relatively enduring identities or dissociated personality states that alternately show in a person's behavior, accompanied by memory impairment for important information not explained by ordinary forgetfulness. These symptoms are not accounted for by substance abuse, seizures, other medical conditions, nor by imaginative play in children. Diagnosis is often difficult as there is considerable comorbidity with other mental disorders. Malingering should be considered if there is possible financial or forensic gain, as well as factitious disorder if help-seeking behavior is prominent.
DID is one of the most controversial psychiatric disorders, with no clear consensus on diagnostic criteria or treatment. Research on treatment efficacy has been concerned primarily with clinical approaches and case studies. Dissociative symptoms range from common lapses in attention, becoming distracted by something else, and daydreaming, to pathological dissociative disorders. No systematic, empirically supported definition of "dissociation" exists.
Bipolarity Disorder[]
Bipolar disorder, also known as manic depression, is a mental disorder with periods of depression and periods of elevated mood. The elevated mood is significant and is known as mania or hypomania, depending on its severity, or whether symptoms of psychosis are present. During mania, an individual behaves or feels abnormally energetic, happy, or irritable. Individuals often make poorly thought out decisions with little regard to the consequences. The need for sleep is usually reduced during manic phases. During periods of depression, there may be crying, a negative outlook on life, and poor eye contact with others. The risk of suicide among those with the illness is high at greater than 6 percent over 20 years, while self-harm occurs in 30–40 percent. Other mental health issues such as anxiety disorders and substance use disorder are commonly associated.
Childhood Amnesia[]
Childhood amnesia, also called infantile amnesia, is the inability of adults to retrieve episodic memories which are memories of specific events (times, places, associated emotions, and other contextual who, what, when, and where) before the age of 2–4 years, as well as the period before age 10 of which adults retain fewer memories than might otherwise be expected given the passage of time. The development of a cognitive self is also thought by some to have an effect on encoding and storing early memories.
Some research has demonstrated that children can remember events from the age of 1, but that these memories may decline as children get older. Most psychologists differ in defining the offset of childhood amnesia. Some define it as the age from which a first memory can be retrieved. This is usually at the age of 3 or 4, but it can range from 2 to 8 years. Childhood amnesia is particularly important to consider in regard to false memories and the development of the brain in early years. Proposed explanations of childhood amnesia are Freud's trauma theory (which is not supported by evidence and is generally discredited), neurological development, development of the cognitive self, emotion and language.
Post-Traumatic Amnesia[]
Post-traumatic amnesia (PTA) is a state of confusion that occurs immediately following a traumatic brain injury in which the injured person is disoriented and unable to remember events that occur after the injury. The person may be unable to state his or her name, where he or she is, and what time it is. When continuous memory returns, PTA is considered to have resolved. While PTA lasts, new events cannot be stored in the memory. About a third of patients with mild head injury are reported to have "islands of memory", in which the patient can recall only some events. During PTA, the patient's consciousness is "clouded". Because PTA involves confusion in addition to the memory loss typical of amnesia, the term "post-traumatic confusional state" has been proposed as an alternative.
There are two types of amnesia: retrograde amnesia (loss of memories that were formed shortly before the injury) and anterograde amnesia (problems with creating new memories after the injury has taken place). Both retrograde and anterograde forms may be referred to as PTA, or the term may be used to refer only to anterograde amnesia.
Explosive Sadism[]
People having this form of sadistic personality are known to be unpredictably violent as they are disappointed or frustrated with their general lives. They lose control when they feel humiliated and/or hopeless and seek retribution for the deprecation and mistreatment to which they sense they have been subjected to. These violent behaviors get expressed through fearsome attacks and tantrums on others, especially on family members, and through uncontrollable rage. Normally, the explosive sadists feel suddenly threatened in some given situation and then shock others by the abruptly changing behavior. These sadists do not generally move about in grumpy or surly manner and as a result it is difficult to know what might set them off. Although the violence that gets released is nearly always directed at a particular individual, it primarily serves as a form of emotional release for the pent up feelings that the sadist had been holding inside himself or herself.
Anti Heroine Proposal[]

Katarina has many negative points but this the reason why she is the most loved protagonist among all main protagonists of the story. Despite Katarina fights to protect her friends, she shows no mercy towards her enemies and kills them in the most brutal ways possible to show an example to what happens to them when they mess with her but that is not always the case, it depends on the character of the person she is fighting. In few cases, Katarina showed mercy but always ended getting a bad ending, the people she hates always end getting really beaten at the end. Katarina was originally supposed to be a selfish hero to the point that one wondered if she was actually a good person since she only grew stronger to fight strong people, not to protect anyone. Some of Katarina's more heroic qualities were heightened in the Saga AA. In the original script of LOTM: Sword of Kings, Katarina experienced a subtle Messiah Creep where she showed more concern for the world, a willingness to sacrifice herself, and worried about people depending on her too much to the point that she boarders on being an Ideal Hero and is treated like a messiah among those who knows her. It's only her Blood Knight tendencies that can override her common sense that makes her remotely closed to being an anti-hero. And though she became one of the Rogues, there were still a few instances where Katarina didn't really view the members of the team including Asuha, Lucas, and Haru occasionally (mostly for his cowardly behavior in some situations) as being in her league. She would regularly come into conflict with them talking down. The only ones that she generally showed respect to among the team were Jellal Fernandes, Imperia (La Folia), Rentaro, Asuha, Mana and Lucas. Above all, she is somewhat of a Sociopathic Hero, all that really matters to her is her friends' safety (even the ones who she don't like) and completing her missions. Empathy and strict moral principles aren't really qualities that fit in to her personality as she willing to left most of her allies to die. She is definitely against saving villains, has a naturally violent nature and sees absolutely nothing wrong in offing people. Katarina also fights villains simply because she's looking for a Worthy Opponent (like when she fight Azul and saw her as a good rival) — that is, someone who won't go down with simply one attack. Unlike La Folia, Katarina hold hatred towards other and are willing to kill them when the times come without giving them a chance to talk. But aside from her anti-heroic personality, Katarina is a good person but... You just need to get along with her...

Katarina was born during the control of DEM Empire over the ExKrieg's race in Bandu.
Isaac receive the report about Mikaela
Over the years, Westcott discovered a warrior race called ExKriegs, they were red-haired warriors, extremely cruel, strong and unbeatable. When DEM entered in 5th Multi-Universe, Westcott annexed the ExKriegs into his DEM Army since they were the most stronger warrior race on that universe. Isaac then wanted to attach them to his army of DEM because he thought that killing them would be a waste. Westcott send his troops to fight the ExKriegs because they were a very persistent race and refused to surrender to a tyrant from another planet. The battle continued until one day, however, Westcott came in person and destroyed every city and capital of the planet with just one finger, and so the Exkriegs had to surrender in the face of Isaac's power.
Isaac was never personally found by any ExKrieg but he sent orders to them to invade certain planets, kill the entire population to prepare these planets to sales resources. Westcott also completely filled the planets of the ExKriegs with industries, bases and droids. One day, Westcott received a report of a ExKrieg who was calling attention of the generals; she was Mikaela Du Tirial and conquered entire planets in just one week, and killing billion quickly. Westcott then called this ExKrieg to his flagship, Revolunce-Class Dreadnought, and met her in person, Mikaela was the first ExKrieg that Westcott met in person. However, Westcott was torturing subordinates at the time she met him, giving a quick impression that Westcott was insane, but Mikaela not seem to care about it because she herself was a sadist too.
Dark Love[]
Westcott has given several missions to Mikaela until a certain point both got along very well because of their sadistic and cold personalities, and both could understood themselves very well, unlike others who questioned their inhuman hobbies. Westcott and Mikaela tortured and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people and soldiers from other planets for fun. Along with their entertainments, they were conquering entire small planets in just a few days without any soldier of DEM, only the two of them massacred many colonies and cities for fun. They continued this for years, until Mikaela discovered a new feeling for him, she was in love with him and did not know how to deal with this feeling that she considered strange. Westcott as always, remained neutral and saw her only as murders companion. Mikaela was really excited by him and he stranged her behavior, but he did not know what she felt or how she felt about him, since she was a sadist like him, he imagined feelings about love was something dispensable for both, but unlike him who is an Taken, Mikaela in her core, was not as depraved and he was, she could feel love for others. However, the only person who Mikaela loved in her entire life was only him, she always hated her parents because she was raised to be a killer-machine, but her parents apparently doesn't managed to exterminate all love inside her.
Feelings[]
Mikaela has been acting really wild and began to hate herself because that feeling began to irritate her but she also loved that feeling, and that made her more stressed about herself. Isaac has been wondering why she was acting like that but he decided to leave her alone because he thought she needed some time alone to calm down. She also realized that "certain places" in her body have been strangers when she came near him. One day Mikaela could not resist anymore, because she held that feeling for months. Then she went to the office of Westcott and entered with brute force, Westcott was in curious and made a joke if she was feeling well, but before he finished his joke, she forced him into violent tongue kiss while strangling him by the neck. And so, they slept together.
Since that night, Westcott has turned Mikaela's target. She has followed him everywhere, watching him and teasing him . She was also very protective over him, often threatening women who came to talk with him. She also seduced him anywhere, even in public places when they were alon.e Both of them have several nights together. Later, rumors were spreading throughout the DEM and all the planets conquered by DEM that the Emperor was dating a ExKrieg. Westcott went to a zone called Forgotten Zone in the galaxy; while Westcott was in Forgotten Zone destroying allies planets to the Resistance, Mikaela began to feel dizzy and weak, she began to vomit and feel bad. The doctors of DEM worried about her because she was the strongest warrior of DEM and if anything ever happens to her Westcott would kill them all. Soon the doctors discovered that she was pregnant and immediately thought about an abortion, however, Mikaela denied abortion and was happy that she would have a daughter from Westcott.
The Legend of the Warrior[]
The Prime Taken Punisher
Westcott was not aware of her pregnancy, and if he knew he would have a daughter, he would create her to be like him and her mother; murderous, tyrannical, sadistic and destructive. Months passed, and Mikaela was already 8 months pregnant, she also waited Westcott back to tell this news to him, nothing could the wrong for Mikaela because she felt very happy and began to appreciate life... however one day Westcott heard a legend of the Prime Taken Punisher through of Makuta Teridax, Darkseid, Hades Izanami and Aya Tokoyogi. He knew that legend, but he forgot all of that legend when he annexed the ExKriegs to his army, he also knew that this legend was true and know that someday that legendary warrior could be born and kill all the Taken, including him and finally ending his reign. Westcott knew this legend was true; because Satan and the Devil, (the founders and leaders of Triggers Hell) were imprisoned in another reality by the Legendary Prime Taken Punisher that defeated them trillions of years ago.
Genocide of the ExKriegs[]
Isaac's fleet
Westcott then sent an order to all ExKriegs spread across the galaxy of that reality to return to their home planet. Once all ExKriegs back to the homeworld, Westcott also went to their planet with his personal fleet. Westcott knew that Mikaela was on the planet but he ignored. Due to this, and also due to a past meeting with the God of Destruction of the 5th Multi-Universe, Beerus, who asked him to wipe out the ExKriegs for him, he decided to wipe out the Planet and its inhabitants despite his attendant saying that it would be a shame to waste such powerful warriors, however, Isaac was going to destroy the entire ExKrieg race at some point. He also ended up forcing the ExKrieg King into giving him his daughter, Yuudachi, as part of their continued "cooperation", although ExKrieg King secretly intended to betray Isaac before he could ever let him have his daughter. Isaac then searched for a time where almost all of the ExKriegs would be on Mandu Planet, so that he could wipe all of them out at once. His attendant tells him that almost all of the ExKriegs would be on the Planet in one month's time, and so Isaac decides to blow it up then. Hearing the accomplishments of the low-level ExKrieg Mizagi and acting on his own fears of the Taken Punisher legends, Isaac resolves to eliminate all possible threats. He sends his most powerful henchman Creed Diskenth and his elites to assassinate Mizagi and his team, while Isaac himself sets a course to Mandu Planet. On his arrival, the ExKrieg King and his men attempt an uprising both to end Isaac's reign and to rescue Princess Yuudachi, but it ended disastrously with the King and his soldiers being slaughtered by Isaac as Ellen and Kurata watch.

As Isaac arrived in the planet's orbit, he suspected that other ExKrieg would attempt to emulate King's approach and commit a full-scale uprising, a suspicion confirmed when he was confronted by a charging Mizagi, lunging through the fields of Isaac's men and Droids in defiance of the tyrant, and even goes as far as to fire a Final Spirit Cannon at him after giving a heart-felt speech declaring that the ExKrieg race is done working for Isaac. The tyrant retaliated by laughing maniacally with glee as he prepared a Death Ball to annihilate the planet. The attack consumes Mizagi and some of his men as it buries itself deep beneath the planet's surface resulting in a massive explosion, eradicating all life forms in the planet, but fortunately Mikaela was the moon of the planet, her power could make her live, walk and even breathe in space. Westcott then launched a giant black ball of Taken energy on the surface of the planet and destroying the planet in seconds issues.
The end of Bandu
He could not hide the happiness and laughed insanely like a commemoration. Mikaela saw the destruction of the planet and also saw the power that destroyed the planet, was Westcott, even billions of kilometers of him, she realized her beloved one presence. Mikaela then fled as soon as she saw the DEM troops invading the moon to make sure there was not anyone there. Westcott sent his troops across the multiverse to hunt all ExKriegs that were not on the planet during the Genocide of the ExKriegs. After the planet's explosion, a story was fabricated to ensure the loyalty of the few remaining ExKriegs Isaac had kept in his employ as a convenience: Yuudachi, Vatus and Stroke. According to the story, a large meteor struck Planet Bandu and destroyed it that very day. Another version of the story is that it was the benevolent guardian of Planet Bandu, ashamed at the immorality of the ExKriegs, who summoned meteors to impact and destroy the planet and the ExKrieg race. In addition to his actions of solidifying his power base, Isaac also orchestrated the Great ExKrieg Purge, an extended campaign of trying to eliminating ExKriegs. Days later, after the genocide, Isaac Westcott ordered five captured ExKriegs to be brought before him. Though exhausted after severe beatings and starvation, and surrounded by Red Guards and battle droids, the ExKriegs were not bound. Isaac in fact handed each of them a saber, and told them that the survivor would win their freedom. Instead of turning on each other, four of the ExKriegs attacked him; he cut three of them down simultaneously, leaving only a female Human and the Verpine Beyghor Sahdett. The latter chose to turn against the former in order to save his own life, and, in awe of Isaac's unparalleled mastery of the Abyss, became the Emperor's servant. Sahdett was employed as a spy to entrap other ExKriegs survivors.
In the first month after the genocide, Ellen, against Isaac's orders, went to attack a Conclave of the ExKrieg Genocide survivors. Still recovering and rebuilding her skill set, Ellen only narrowly defeated the ExKriegs with the help of the Super Battle Droid Division. Nonetheless, despite Isaac's disappointment in his secretary for letting her emotions get the better of her, the Emperor nonetheless viewed Ellen's actions as useful in the long run: he anonymously passed a rumor that Ellen tracked down and destroyed the conclave. In order to ensure his false rumor kept fear running in the Multi-Universe, he also greatly exaggerated the event, claiming the conclave was composed of fifty ExKriegs and that Ellen had single-handedly killed them.
Mikaela's Parturition[]

Days later, Mikaela fled to a distant planet with her squad from the genocide after witnessing the destruction of her planet. Mikaela felt sad for being betrayed and manipulated, even if her race has served Isaac for many years with loyalty, he still destroyed their homeworld. Yet, in her heart, Mikaela still loved Isaac even after that. Mikaela, then noticed the advertisements scattered throughout the galaxy that Isaac Westcott had put a big reward (a entire planet, money, power, fame and a army) for those who kill or capture a ExKrieg for DEM Empire. Following Mikaela's orders, the capable soldiers of Mikaela are instructed to clear the civilization of planet Marte in order to prevent any person to report their localization to DEM Empire. During their visit to the planet, the group encounters one of Isaac's most dangerous minions, Cell, and his Cell Juniors, who betray them by Isaac's orders and make short work of Mikaela's Team.

When Mikaela is informed that her Team was facing a powerful enemy, Mikaela hurriedly makes preparations to pursue her friends, unaware of the dangers that await at her destination. Eventually once upon the city that her squad had destroyed, Mikaela discovers her ravaged comrades and, to some fortune, finds that one of her friends is alive but in critical condition. Vowing to avenge the four, Mikaela removes the Armband of her friend, now soaked in blood. Mikaela is suddenly assaulted by Cell Juniors, she is able to dominate over the elite-class fighters until Cell launches a Super Blast, overpowering Mikaela (however, her weakness is explained by her pregnancy) blasting her into her friend's dead bodies and leaving her for dead. Mikaela barely survives this attack and hold her tears for her weakness.
Katarina Couteau newborn
Days later, Mikaela hid in a cave and began to feel something tearing in her womb. She realized that her daughter finally would be born. Mikaela had to endure the pain of childbirth alone without anyone to help, the pain became more intense due to her injuries with her battle against Cell. After hours of unimaginable pain, Mikaela finally managed to pull her daughter out. Mikaela put her daughter in white cloths as she smiled with joy. And so, Elesis Du Tirial, and years later named as Katarina Couteau is born, and with her, the legend of the Legendary Warrior professed by ancient prophets billion years ago started.
Cell later returns to Isaac's ship and report to Isaac that he killed an ExKrieg know as Mikaela Du Tirial and her squad in Marte Planet few days ago. However, Isaac used his Abyss Aura to find Mikaela in a planet distant from there and he felt the she was alive. Ellen warns that due to Cell's pride, he did not killed Mikaela, because naturally she is an ExKrieg and she would not die with just one attack. Ellen warns him of his recklessness and Cell's negligence angers Isaac. Cell said he would travel back to Marte Planet and he would ensure that he was going to kill her this time. However, Isaac reassures him that it will not be necessary and decided to got after Mikaela by himself.
Isaac Vs. Mikaela[]
Isaac and his fleet arrives in Marte, however, the military defense of the planet attack the DEM's fleet, resulting in a huge space battle, however, the DEM managed to defeat the enemy. Believing that the Council Leaders of the planet are too weak and foolish, Isaac decides he needs to take charge of the planet and put the planet in his Galactic Slave Map in order to sell the planet for the highest bidders. The planet became a battlefield, resulting in the death of billions. As the DEM troops face the military defenses of the planet, Isaac use his Taken Aura to find Mikaela on the planet. After he found her, he quickly flew to her localization.
Tower of El citadel
Later, Isaac arrived at Tower of El citadel, looking for Mikaela. After many minutes looking for her, he located Mikaela in the last floor of the tower. When Isaac found Mikaela face-to-face, he noticed a newly born red-haired baby and a huge portal behind her, Westcott asked who was that child, she answered his question saying that child was his daughter. Westcott ignored her and activated his black sword.
As Mikaela made her way to the middle of the room, Isaac said he was looking foward to see her and that he would show mercy if Mikaela killed their daughter and joined Isaac's side again. Mikaela told him that there were no ExKrieg left and said the Isaac she met could never kill his own family. Isaac told her he had destroyed her homeworld and laughed insanely about the matter, explaining what he felt when he saw billion of lives being destroyed in one second, which Mikaela vowed to avenge. Isaac remarked it was not the ExKrieg way to avenge a dead partner, but as Mikaela revealed that she had no partner to avenge and was doing that for her own sake, she engaged the Taken Lord in battle.
Not long after the beginning of the duel, Mikaela's strength began to fade as Isaac was blowing powerful strikes at her. He then proceeded to use his telekinesis to push her off the tower and made his way back to the top of the tower to kill the baby. Mikaela, however, survived the fall and made her way back to the top. There, she ran towards Isaac, who was raising his sword to slay the undefended baby, and she was able to knock Isaac down, kicking his face and breaking his nose.
Mikaela reacted horrified to see that Isaac's true face was a black gunk full of worms and eyes, and said to Isaac that this is the result of the Abyss power, as she saw part of Isaac's true face. She decided not to flee as she did mounths ago when she saw her planet being destroyed by Isaac, to which Isaac responded that she would die instead.
Katarina Escape[]
The end of Marte
The two engaged in combat once again for the last time, with the tower locking down and exploding into a burst of energy caused by the portal, Mikaela used her telekinesis to push Elesis (Katarina) to the portal, Katarina then began to cry as she watched her parents disappearing into the darkness of the portal. The portal has created a black hole that went through dimensions, this portal teleported Katarina to the Prime Earth (our Earth, our world), a planet where Isaac would never find it, even Mikaela was not aware what planet she would be sent.
Isaac angrily yelled at Mikaela as she smiled. Isaac then pierced Mikaela's heart with his sword. Mikaela fell into the arms of Westcott and said she still loved him after all and slowly closed her eyes and died in the arms of her beloved. Isaac used his dark aura to blow up Mikaela's body into pieces and screamed in hatred for leaving the last ExKrieg of existence escape, and worse, the last ExKrieg was actually his daughter. The portal became a black hole and created a supernova, destroying the planet with all population and DEM troops. However, Isaac survived the explosion and flew to his ship in space. Once in his ship, Isaac ordered the captain to leave from the system, and so the rest of Isaac's fleet and jump to lightspeed and disappeared into the darkness of space.
At that time, the legend had begun. Years later, Isaac would regret for not killing that baby.
Akrak Crisis[]
Katarina ended up being teleported to Prime Earth, very far away from Ike's grasp. She had landed in a river of Tenguu City but she was found by Haruko Couteau and adopted her as her daughter, breaking a pact she did with Ara Astaroth years ago to never have children. At some point, Haruko moved to United States with her husband, Iruka Couteau and lived in Liberty City for some months in peace.
One day, Akrak Couteau secretly went to United States and found Haruko Couteau's address in the country. Akrak had her men from Wolf Assassin Brigade (a squad of elite soldiers from KnightWalker Family) invading the house while she encountered with her sister who was having a peaceful life with Iruka Couteau and the baby Katarina Couteau, who was an infant at that time.
Akrak visiting Haruko
Akrak requested to Haruko to come with her to KnightWalker Family to put an end to the tyranny and fascist state of United States, considering it a corrupt government that thinks themselves to be the kings of the world. Naturally, Haruko refused but Akrak took her eyes to Katarina and held her in arms while indirectly threatening to kill her in front of Haruko but she soon changed her mind and said she would give time to Haruko to think about it as she let Katarina on the sofa as the house burned. Haruko quickly escaped from the house as Akrak and her men disappeared, returning to Europe to continue their research. This event caused Haruko and Iruka to go to Japan, Tenguu City, to hide from Akrak and her faction of megalomaniacs.
10 months later, when Akrak decided to visit Haruko to hear her answer again in United States, she was informed that Haruko and her husband, Iruka Couteau, left the country. Using her network of information of the underworld of the crime, Akrak discovered that Haruko had a new daughter, who was none other than Eugen Katsuragi, the younger sister of Katarina Couteau. Enraged, Akrak found Haruko in a illegal village on India after hiring spies all over the globe to sell out her location.
Akrak knew Haruko would never join her cause and decided to kill her once for all and kill Iruka, Katarina and the newborn Eugen as well. Arriving in the village, Akrak and her men from Wolf Assassin Brigade found Akrak giving the baby Eugen to a Korean couple who turned out to be Hiku Katsuragi and Judith Katsuragi, the adoptive parents of Eugen. When Akrak asked the reason why she was giving her newborn baby to a Korean couple, Haruko answered that she is poor and has no condition to rise two children so she is giving Eugen to a new family to ensure her a new and grand future. When Akrak lost her cool when Haruko denied her request again, Akrak and her men started to shoot at Haruko and Iruka as Judith and Hiku escaped. Much to Akrak's surprise, the whole village were traffickers and mercenaries who held a grudge for the KnightWalker Family, and that resulted in an immense gunfire between the Wolf Assassin Brigade and the local traffickers, as a result, Akrak had to retreat and was forced to leave Haruko and Iruka live.
Astaroth's Darkness[]

Katarina and her parents travelled to Japan, Tenguu City, where she met her husband and stayed there for a year to hide from Akrak and the Great Economic Crisis. Around 4 months later, Haruko and Iruka received a chance of business in America by Richard Sampson and were going to help in the foundation of Ratatoskr due to their long career. However, on their way to the airport, Ara Astaroth cursed them and two died in a car accident that left more 3 dead.
As they died on the way, Ara Astaroth went to their house and killed their maid before taking a baby Katarina to the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where she dropped the infant and let her drown into the darkness of the deep sea of the pacific ocean. However, thanks to the Sword of Kings inside of Katarina, she was able to push herself to the surface again at the cost of leaving a fragment of her behind to die live in the Taken zone of the ocean. This part would be later infected by the Blackness due to her hatred and anger of being left behind and hold a grudge against the Katarina that had the chance to live again.
Following this event, Katarina was found by a military boat of Global Pact Defense and rescued. She was sent to Tenguu City where the government sent her to an orphanage to grow under the cares of GPD's nurses and maids. At the orphanage, Katarina was avoided and neglected by the staff, frequently bullied and referred to as an "thug" (due to her scarlet hair), and told by the other kids that she should live outside. In an odd way, she understood this as the other kids using her as a way to distract themselves from their misery of being forgotten and abandoned. Katarina did little to prevent the abuse other than to refuse to react, presumably in the hopes they would tire of bullying her if they couldn't get any reaction from her. It remains unclear how or when Katarina and the other children learned of the story of her abandonment, but it seemed common knowledge at the site. Over time, her ignoring the bullying backfired twice over; it marked her off as emotionless and therefore more of a 'freak' and egged tormentors on, hoping to get a reaction from her.
The Incident[]

As she matured, Katarina's ExKrieg energy began to develop, though she had little understanding of what this meant at the time when her eyes began to shine in red when bullied. Katarina eventually discovered a stray kitten in the woods around the orphanage, whom she thought of as her first friend. Feeding the kitten on breadcrumbs left him still hungry, so she felt forced to give most of her dinner to it.
During this time young Katarina, while holding her kitten, sometimes heard and listened in on the singing of young boy called Rentaro Satomi, who fled to those same mountains to hide his singing from his family, but the two never truly met during these times. When a bullying boy from the orphanage threw milk all over her bag, a young girl saw and shouted for a teacher.
Thinking of her as a new friend, Katarina, needing more food for the kitten, told the girl about the puppy. However, although promising to keep it a secret, the girl soon told the boys about the kitten and its significance, and the bullies took it from the woods. After confronting Katarina in the classroom, the bullies brought in the kitten and began violently bludgeoning it to death with a rock. The girl came in to intervene, admitting to telling them about the kitten. Despite her apologies and protests that she hadn't known the puppy would be hurt, she was seen by Katarina smiling behind her supposedly covered eyes. Feeling betrayed and enraged, Katarina unleashed her Taken's tentacles for the first time, killing all of her tormentors in a swift, brutal manner as well as mutilating them into pieces. This event is what caused Katarina to split her personality in two as both ExKrieg and Taken energy inside of her were too powerful for her body (as well as the emotional shock) and her mind was broken into two pieces, creating another personality that is now known as Katarina, thus Elesis and Katarina were born.

With the memories of Elesis, Katarina buried the dog, apologizing for not being able to protect it, and decided to go on the run. The orphanage regarded her as missing and a drugged staff member was falsely arrested for being the murderer. While burying her kitten in the mountains, Katarina made the decision to go on the run, but was stopped by Rentaro, a young boy on vacation who went into the hills to draw. The two formed a close bond much to the surprise and confusion of Katarina. However, these moments of happiness were not enough to stop her following her newfound instincts and continued to attack and even torture people to steal their goods but since her powers spread fear through her victims, no one could remember her face.

After three days, Katarina was found by the police and was sent to a new orphanage until she adopted by the Langley couple. However, Hana and her unnamed husband had a very difficult life with the husband being a drinker with salary issues and often beat Hana and Katarina to a near-death state. At one point, Katarina was sent to the hospital after having her skull smashed by a bottle of wine. Hana was a researcher involved with the Noro virus of STAR LABS of United States of America at Gehirn's Japanese branch in Tenguu City. However, she served as the test subject for a Contact Experiment with Artificial Black Demons, which trapped the maternal component of her soul inside of a Black Demon. Hana developed a severe psychological illness as a result and needed to be institutionalized. However, due to her illness and abuses of her husband, she became unable to recognize Katarina as her daughter, while rag dolls (which she alternated between treating tenderly and violently) became surrogate "Katarina-chan"s. One day, her unnamed father arrived home more drunk than normal and beat Hana until her legs broke and tried to kill Katarina too, however, the police arrived just in time and shot down the unnamed husband.

Broken by the incident, Hana lost her sanity and tried to poison Katarina against her ex-husband's foster daughter, referring to her as "that girl," but after the contact experiment this dissociation was transferred to Katarina's doll. At one point, Hana tried to strangle Katarina.
One of the dolls that Hana was carrying was decapitated; Katarina acquired the head and carried it with her as she watched her mother through the hospital glass. Hana throttled another, and, ultimately, used it to commit a "double suicide", hanging both herself and the doll-Katarina—a spectacle the real Katarina had the misfortune of seeing Hana hanging herself with a smile, happy for finally being freed from Katarina and her painful memories.

Following the death of the Langley family, many people from the staff of her new orphanage thought Katarina was cursed since everyone around her died at some point. This is the first time the staff began to not only ignore her but also allow other children to bully her due to her red hair while other girls were simply jealous of her appearance.
The bullying continued with brutality and even some went too far to the point of burning her with hot rocks, much to the dismay of some children that thought they were overdoing it. However, to prevent herself from being discovered by the staff, Katarina held her grudge and escaped at nights from the orphanage to find and kill Mafusa Gangsters in other parts of the city with the same Taken aura she used to kill her tormentors months earlier. To satisfy her bloodlust and threw all the hatred, anger and stress, she had to kill at least 4 gangsters all night in the most brutal and horrible ways possible, such as mutilating them with knives or beat their faces until their jaws were crushed. Due to the nature of the place where they were found, no one could imagine Katarina was their killer and continued the same activity for almost a year, possibly killing 20 gangsters and unwillingly became a serial killer around 11-years old. During these years, the young leader of Mafusa Gang, Aki Honda, nicknamed her as Red Haired Demon.

After beating a group of delinquents smoking in a small park, Katarina stole their food and ate it at the hills of Tenguu City.
At the same day that the young princess arrived in Tenguu City, which was, at that time, a major city in Japan, but years later would become a powerful state and the central metropolis of the country.
Knowing she was alone, without anyone to help her find a new home for her, she had to go to the Mountains of Tenguu, where the government builds home for teenagers and children that do not have condition to live alone without getting a job. There, she would but her new house, at first, she though it was a nice place as it was located very far away from the town.
During her long walk towards the mountain, she found herself in a park where, she saw a deadly Katarina seated in one of the toys eating stolen food, it was later revealed that Katarina lost her adoptive parents in an accident and suffered in the hands of society because of her scarlet hair, which many people considered as a characteristics of criminalism and taboo. Katarina threatened La Folia with a knife and said she was willing to kill her if she did not leave her territory. But the princess ignored her warning and slowly walked towards, Katarina, however, got scared because she was afraid of humans and acted sloppy when she tried to stab her, but she was so weak that even La Folia, a girl without any combat training, grabbed her arm and stopped her attack. She proceeded to hug her to say that she was not afraid of her and to express she was not dangerous. Some minutes later, Katarina opened herself for La Folia and started to talk with each other; there a new friendship was born.
From that moment, La Folia started to live in Katarina's house and was something like her sister and mother at the same time.

Nicknaming Katarina as "Reddy", Oriax originally saw Katarina as a rival and vice-versa, remembering her of her past-self when she first fought Katarina as a Hell Lord, and because of that, she considered her to be weak and desired to destroy every single part of her for remembering how Oriax was prior her corruption. Katarina's victory over Oriax was what made Oriax how weak she truly was, Katarina blamed Oriax for her own weaknesses and said she lost because she gave up on her past-self and friendship, abandoning them and becoming someone vile as Eckidina KnightWalker, Oriax used this more motivation to get stronger but changed her mind about Katarina after facing her as mirror, having memories that she was stronger when she was a pure hearted person in the past.

After Oriax stopped Katarina from attacking Ara Astaroth for nearly killing Imperia, Oriax admitted her resolve to prove her teammate's ideals of a fixed destiny being wrong but refused to let Katarina kill Ara because she was the one who is going to kill her one day. Seeing her sharing that same resolve, Oriax was willing to let Katarina handle Ara and future enemies, teaching her kinds of magic and new trainings of the Underworld, allowing Katarina to understand the way that demons fight.
When Katarina first met Oriax, she was unaware that she was a determined warrior like herself. Ever since their encounter, Katarina understood that Oriax had been through the same pain like she had. Though she was afraid to fight Oriax at first, later during the Eye of the Moon incident, Katarina was able to overcome this fear after seeing both Mana and Rentaro in danger and was determined to protect them both from Oriax. When Katarina defeated her, Oriax, in great shock, questioned her why was she so strong. Katarina explained that despite having suffered a relentless lonely life, she never gave up hope on being acknowledged as a person and ultimately found friends who truly cared for her. From that day on, Katarina's undying devotion and desire to protect her loved ones inspired Oriax to take on a similar path, and over time, she eventually became a member of the Rogus and was finally able to connect with her new friends and be acknowledged as a person rather than a demon similar to Ara Astaroth and Vira.

Ara first sought out Katarina in order to consume her and gain the mana of her ExKrieg power she had sealed up to that point but when she first met her, she immediately felt a strong lust for sex towards her and tried to abduct her to use her in her sick sex nun collection. When Katarina attempted to talk to her, she played along, before trying to make it clear that she could not be saved and she had no will to resist her fate.
She is very teasing and flirty towards her especially in regards to the time she was forced to dress up as a nun. After Katarina nearly gave her life to defend her from Imperia, Ara started to felt disgusted about Katarina and tried to kill her for she thought Katarina was suppose to be a lethal and dangerous person just like her.
Interestingly, she seems to enjoy teasing Katarina—aside from her heavily hinted lust feelings towards her, which is the reason why she hasn't devoured or killed her yet.
When she met Katarina, she tried to convince her to come along with her but she rejected the demon. Despite her rejection, she persistently tries to win her over, even attempting to swap Imperia but to no avail.

Since Black Demons are known for being born obsessed with something they lost in their previous lives, Vira became obsessed with Katarina for dying to protect her from Aki Honda and mainly for dying in her arms, which confirmed her sibling feelings for her to give her sister a happy life. However, those feelings were completely twisted after she became insane.
Vira was extremely obsessed with Katarina in lustful ways and masturbated thinking in her when she had nothing better to do, always desiring to obtain her for herself and abuse her until her moral codes and sanity are gone to make her insane just like her, so they can be one forever. While Ara's feeling for CM are pure love, what Vira feels for Katarina is lust and dominance to enslave her as her sex slave and later work with her as a serial killer for the rest of their lives while destroying all life slowly, which she consider her dream to become one with her sister; turn Katarina just like her and live forever by killing and taking bath together in the blood of their victims.
Vira was shown to be amoral as she considered incest and homosexually to be something "attractive", and that's what makes her to feel excited about having an actual relationship with Katarina. When Vira captures Katarina in Madness Sub Arc, the latter forced her to have a sexual relationship with her through rape and took both of their chastity together. Maria and Katarina are in very well terms, with the latter considering the former as her best-buddy outside of the Rogues. Maria and Katarina had almost no involvement In-Universe untilt the moment that Maria appeared in Katarina's mind and helped her to snap out of Michael Langdon's illusions during their final battle in Corbin Files. Maria somewhat had a sense of admiration for Katarina in her own way but it was never really explained.
Maria considered Katarina to be an "old friend" since she met her in her past life before she could be reborn as a Spirit Guide and showed respect for her while Katarina feared and loved Maria at the same time due to her scary Mama Bear personality that would scary her very soul out of her body. While they had a little interaction in Saga AA, it was lampshaded that Katarina saw Maria as a "aunt" figure considering she was responsible and a caring person. She clearly knew her scary side was almost like the wrath of a mother who was worried with her kids. In a sense, Katarina considered Maria as her "aunt" on the place of Akrak Couteau who was just vicious sociopath rather than a family.

Despite Katarina is way older than Maria, the latter sees her as a child due to her childish, reckless and goofy personality that always put her into danger, forcing Maria to act to protect her from danger. Despite their friendly terms, Maria and Katarina had some things they absolutely hated in each other but did their best to hide it. Katarina showed despise for Maria's mercy and pure-hearted side for enemies while Maria hated Katarina's one-sided view of the world that everyone against her and her friends must die, even children included.
Beside that, what Maria hated the most was the "monster" living inside of Katarina that was in fact her "twin-sister", Elesis Du Tirial. For being a Guide Spirit, Maria could detect and even communicate with Elesis who was sealed inside of Katarina's subsconscious and discovered that person was the source of all flaws in Katarina (dark flaws like sadism, the lust for Rentaro Satomi and homicidal tendencies; the childish and naive facts were original from Katarina herself). When Katarina is sleeping, Maria can easily enter in her mind and have a chat with Elesis to leave her alone, but she is always welcomed with a brutal rain of attacks from Elesis' hands. Inside of Katarina's mind, she discovered Elesis was pure psychopath and was probably the most insane person she ever met before. With many studies, she thought she could kill Elesis inside of her mind when Elesis revealed if she is killed Katarina will die too, making it a double murder.
The dark side of Katarina that only Maria could see
After discovering that Katarina is not a bad person but a victim who shares traces with the monster called Elesis, she began to show more sympathy for her in her battles while keeping her in check she would never use torture techniques to make her enemies suffer just for the heck of it.
Aside from her dark side, Maria absolutely disliked Katarina's stupid side; her memories are so bad that she cannot help herself but to feel pity for the Red Haired Demon who is not only a child with the body of a young adult but also always cause trouble for those around her with her stupidity. When Maria was told Katarina once made all officers of Ratatoskr vomit after cooking rotten testicles, she immediately took place in the kitchen to replace Katarina while teaching her how to cook.

Oddly enough, it was Maria who helped Katarina to develop her maturity to the top while the Rogues were only friends who supported, played and trained her. It can be said Maria was a substitute mother of Katarina who helped her to grow mentallity. During their time, it was her who taught Katarina how suppress the carnal and sadistic feelings of Elesis considering she had the same mental problem, making these two the same side on the same coin.
At one point, to make the two more familiar, Maria allowed Katarina to enter in subconscious to meet her evil side; an even more dark version of Future Maria. There, Katarina had a very long conversation with the Evil Maria. After she left, Katarina mentioned her dark side was in a prison, something similar to an imaginale cell. Soon afterwards, she mentioned she was going to teach her how to keep Elesis in a cell like that one, so everything bad about her traces living in Katarina's mentality will disappear.
Even so, Maria learned some things from her as well without training; the power of wrath. The power of emotions allowed her to grow stronger since she had precious memories, places and people to protect. This mental training allowed the two to become stronger from learning about themselves. At the very end, their old relationship ceased and they were now more like sisters, helping each other when they were in need. 5 billion years later, they lost contacted with themselves but Maria was one of the few people whom Katarina could clearly remember (in 5 billion years, almost everyone she met before were fading from her memories due to the long time alive). Maria, however, could remember all times she spent together with Katarina and her past friends thanks to her Divine Immortality that kept not only her body alive for the entire eternity but her memories as well.

Although his overall harsh and disapporving attitude towards the members of the Rogues, Carl actually appreciated Katarina for her strength, her willpower and her eventual resolution to become a heroine. Carl actually gave no regards to any social binding or rules, only following his own code, so he often encouraged Katarina to do what she should do all by her own choice, never allowing the entire society running through her mind.
Carl also serves as a guide figure to Katarina due to his experience as a veteran, and he is strict but still helpful to Katarina. Unlike Maria, Carl prefer violence in war to leave their enemies no chance, and is always in a serious mood. Usually, Carl is comfortable with the budding friendship between him and Katarina. However, Carl is often annoyed by the Rogues' quirk and Katarina's occational streak of an idiot hero, even to the point of yelling at them that how he hated alcohol, as they began to discuss what to eat that night instead of worrying about the War of the Anti-Christ as they should have.

On Katarina's side, she warmed up to Carl when she discovered that he would never betray her group in spite of his grim nature. Still, she often laughed at Imperia's trolling towards Carl, which often make Carl began to doubt if he was on the wrong boat once more. Katarina was the first person who had broke Carl's usual aloof and serious nature, turning him into a comically serious person either a deadpan or annoyed expression when the Rogues are doing things. Even so, Katarina sees Carl as a true ally and worked together through thick and thin. Sometimes, Carl even thought he was fell in love with Katarina, but he immediately slapped himself from the feelings as he knew because of all limits, he could only act like a father to Katarina, for him that was enough.
Carl later proved himself to be an important figure in a mutual character development between him and Katarina, especially during Anti-Christ Saga. He and Maria could be considered as factors on Katarina's development, but to different degrees. If Maria make Katarina to feel humanity's warmth to make her become kind, then Carl is the one who cut off the effects from humanity's coldness induced upon Katarina and make her free. If Maria make Katarina learn to control her inner dark side, Carl made Katarina learn to defy the darkness from the outside that tried to tell her what to do.
Quote himself, Carl was cutting off the strings from Katarina that tried to take control of her and made her do its evil biddings. He knew what to feel to have someone's own emotions being manipulated by darkness as he himself was a victim of it, so for a long time, he found a mutual understanding between Katarina and himself. Carl later became a fathering figure to Katarina, and although he still held his disapporving attitude, he feel like staying with the Rogues was like staying with people who would truly understand him, accepting his monstrous nature, and Katarina was one of the many he favored.

That's your advantages to make them stop and run out of chance to fight back."

When she shared her time with Katarina together, Selina would sometimes have a deja vu of her past with the late Hestia Hawthorn (left) when she was a teenager (right), though now the role was reversed and Selina was in Hestia's own perspective now.
In general, Selina sees Katarina as someone who would be so similar to her daughter if she really had one. [Note: In fact, despite her age, Selina didn't become a true mother until the World War III's end, when she became pregnant with Albert's child (a daugher named Alvira).] She acted like a doting mother to Katarina and treated her in the same way she was treated by the late Lady Hestia Hawthorn.
When they first met, however, Selina was initially displeased over Katarina's arrival (due to being a stranger that approached her) and appeared in her giant monster form to intimidate the Rogues with her mind-control ability, not being able to trust them at first, but Helene Hawthorn managed to dissuade Selina from doing so, and then Selina took a more human form (but was still tall enough to dwarf everyone else around her) to greet Katarina due to Helene's own promise as well as her failsafe around her own region.

Even someone like Katarina was intimidated by Selina's gigantic size and monstrous ability to assimliate with landscape around her. However, thanks to her previous experience with Elesis and Red Moon Tyrant, Katarina was able to resist the mind-control and mental infection of Selina's "Perfect Croatoan" mode, which would instantly mesmerize and cause mental damage on mortal beings when Selina started to unleash her mind-control, or at least with her Supreme Croatoan form being thought about.
Katarina's ability made Selina interested with Katarina's power, even though she knew nothing about ExKrieg or whatsoever, knowing that Katarina wasn't that simple. As a result, calling her "Ms. Couteau" at the time, Selina revealed her plans to Katarina and put full trust upon her to resist the Black Demons as simple working partners, while Katarina considered Selina to be a serious but reasonable figure who would be helpful with her abilities.
Sometimes, the two would share some private time together discussing about future, and Selina would show a humble and tender side beneath her serious demeanore, like allowing Katarina to stand upon her shoulder to take a full view over Tenguu City and sunset from a high place. After learning about the dark and troubled past of Katarina, Selina revealed that people feared Katarina and bullied her, not because she really did something wrong, but because of her talents and power, something they were feared and jealous of. Selina shared her childhood moments of being picked up for being a tall girl as well as her family's dark past that was exploited by her former best friend to gain their profits.
"What I have to do? I shot and killed my best friend out of nothing but pure spite, Katarina! It was a wrong choice to make, to cross that line. You'll pay for it, over and over again, like I've been, like I still am! That'll make you the creature you're trying to fight against. You need to be better than me. Do you understand me?"
Overall, Selina and Katrina are always on good speaking terms with each other, but sometimes they would have conflicts mostly about their attitude to killing and making tough choices. At times, Selina acted very paranoid and even cold-blooded towards enemies, because of her traumatizing past of losing everything she once loved, as well as her great hatred bored towards Vira Hermes.
Most notably, Selina flat-out refused to believe that Vira was actually Katarina's sister, Eugen Katsuragi, since she already met Vira nearly 20 years ago and that wasn't possible. Although this became lighter after Selina learnt of Vira's true origin, she still couldn't let go of her hatred towards Vira (though her rage didn't extend to Eugen, but to Ara Astaroth).
Sometimes, however, Selina would still showed hestitation if she need to ditch her emotions and humanity to fully let go her fear againgst the Black Demon. She stull had no regret in killing Black Demons, but she worried about that involving humans inside would make her the very same monster she sought to fight.

When Katarina tried to encourage Selina to do so for necessity, she used Selina's past of killing Orlando Orange as an example, for that was what Selina had to do. Nevertheless, Selina rebuked Katarina that she didn't do what she had to do, but actually she did it out of spite for her former best friend betraying her and injecting her with the perfect dose of Supreme Croatoan.
In addition, Selina revealed she was still guilty over the years for the consequences brought by shooting Orlando in cold blood, when she had the choice of arresting him alive, and she paid for the price over and over again. She knew she must kill someone if really necessary, but she said Katarina should be better and must never kill for mere joy or spite. This was also demonstrated in Astaroth Future, when Future Selina was horrified by what line Future Maria would cross to achieve her goals.
Besides that, due to her experiences, Selina is one of the very few people who won't be affected by the Rogues' comical and idiotic atmosphere, something that even Maria Arzonia and Carl Robinson could not prevented. She would always maintain composure and claimed "Good grief" or "Enough is enough" when seeing Katarina and Imperia showing comical moments. Still, Selina is reasonable and gives the Rogues enough freedom to have fun with each other, albeit in a proper range, when everything is settled.
Notably, Selina would later adressed Katarina with her first name directly (instead of calling her Ms. Couteau) after acknowledging her efforts.
Helene Hawthorn[]

Katarina and Helene hardly went on well initially, but their releationships soon got warmed up.
Although being pale in front of Imperia's sadism, Helene Hawthorn's insanity is considered as one of the most creepy and eerie personality from a person who allied with Maria Arzonia. Even with many people full of weirdness on board Fraxinus, hardly ever anyone was as eccentric as Helene. As a result, Helene initially earned lukewarm reception from Katarina, due to the latter's act like a bumping fool. Elesis also commented Helene to be boring and childish.
Like Maria before, Katarina once considered Helene as a stupid, vain and self-obsessed buffoon, which was considered as a great offense to Helene as the latter insisted to be called as a "clown" or "jester" instead of the more disapproving "buffoon". However, as they went nearer, Helene soon showed her more serious, dark and even sinister side.

At first, Katarina also cannot comprehend how an artist could fight in war, but she immediately changed her mind horrifically when she saw Helene froze her enemies into molten wax, remolding them into statues and making comments how molten wax was more fleshed out like human flesh, unlike the cold and emotionless stone. This only turned Katarina's annoyance towards Helene became horror, as she cannot expected that someone would make enemies into collections rather than just killing them off.
Helene held the same viewpoint towards Katarina as well. She was the only person who openly criticized Ratatoskr's weird and even lewd personality and decided to "remold" them as punishment. Sometimes, Helene was annoyed when Katarina considered her attempt to cheer her up as sarcasm, which gave a severe blow on Helene's confidence and optimism. She even considered Katarina was an ungrateful and humorless moron.
Aside from Helene's clown persona, Katarina was also feeling uncomfortable with Helene's serious side as well, since she find Helene's darker and sinister side as a chessmaster was just as disturbing as her masks. Helene's disturbing eating habits over molten wax and paint pretty much created nausea within the Rogues. When she heard Helene remarking that "red is such a delicacy" during the painting process, Katarina (who had red hair) developed a nauseous feelings, believing Helene was a cannibal who had an obsession over red hair (in fact, this was Phyllis Peach, Helene's deceased archenemy).

However, in truth, Helene turned out to be a sweet and caring person despite her own weirdness, which even making many considered her as a mobile nightmare. Their relationship warmed up during Iscariot Section XIII's invasion against London, when Helene (again) risked her life trying to save innocent people, children included, to safety. She was also impressed that Helene was actually a friend to all children, rather than some psychopath who preyed on kids.
Helene later apologized to Katarina and the Rogues about her own quirks and said it was developed due to a long-time of isolation, before unmasking herself - the first time she unmasked willingly in front of others for more than two decades. Helene encouraged Katarina that anyone needs happiness, but sadism or torture could not bring true happiness, only making others genuiuely happy would. Her motive is to make others happy instead of sad or scared, and she blamed herself for ruining everything.
Technically, when LOTM: Witnesses of Sleepy Hollow - Anti-Christ Saga was staged, because of the timeline being merged together, there could have been two Helenes who appeared in the same timeline, one from the past and one from the future. Initially, Katarina had confusion over which was which until the two Helenes immediately merged into one right in front of her, using the Mental Particles, in an attempt to avoid time paradox in future timeline. Helene explained that this temporary merging would make Katarina less confused, saying there would be one and only one Helene after all since the past and future were essentially one and the same, before cryptically saying her future would be related to her past actions and choices, revealing another mischievous side of making riddles.
After the defeat of Ike Ray Peram Westcott, Helene soon went into retirement to bring others happiness until the day she finally burned out herself and became a soul guarding others. As of LOTM: Destiny, since five billions of years had passed, Katarina no longer had a full rememberance of Helene's physical appearance except her remarkable mask, while Helene already faded into history and only left her name. Nevertheless, Katarina often wondered if Helene was reincarnated somewhere whenever she heard news about art prodigies.

Katya first met Katarina in Tenguu City when she ordered by Yuri Barnes to watch over her while he recovered from his wounds caused by Katarina's unknown powers. First seeing Katarina as nothing more than a brat who probably knew how to use her powers but kept it hidden from everyone to make herself look strong when challenged. Besides, Katya had zero interest in Katarina and could care less about wasting her time looking over her as a caretaker even fully knowing she was the adoptive daughter of both Iruka Couteau and Haruko Couteau.
However, after she witnessed Ren Suzugamori carbonizing her body after he manipulated her to use her body as a trophy and proof that he saved the day, Katya could no longer bear to watch it and interefered personally, saving Katarina and healing her wounds, giving a chance for her to finally face her fears after giving her a long sermon if she was going to crawl like an miserable insect for the rest of her life or finally learn to use her demons to beat those who abused and tortured her. As a result, Katarina beat Ren using her own hands and had him arrested for trying to steal an important Black Magi-Tech Data.
From that day on, Katya introduced herself as a mere Magician who enrolled at Raizen to study when in fact she decided to join the school to watch over Katarina's grown closely. Upon learning the story of Katarina, she vowed to train her for the time being while posing as a false student of Raizen. As she spent days training and living with Katarina and La Folia, Katya formed a bond with the two that went from an ignorant and rude teacher-student relatioship to a sisterly-like bond of family. Instead of seeing Katya as a teacher or friend, Katarina saw her as a motherly figure as someone who awakened her all mornings, fixed her clothings, prepared her lunch and dinner. Since Katya, La Folia and Katarina began to live together in the same apartment, the trio indeed formed a family-relationship but Katya never abandoned her pride and arrogance, keeping in mind that the two were weaker than her (most of the time putting them under inferior levels of humanity), something that both La Folia and Katarina never took seriously as they knew deep inside Katya was a good person.

Katya began to see Katarina more than a simply student like the many she had but a daughter who spent most her life suffering at the hands of those she used to call family and the modern society as whole. One of the reasons why Katya began to hate the modern humankind was because of how harshly and cruel Katarina was treated by them with no objective in mind besides bullying and making her crawl with sorrow and depression.
While Katya does repeat similar actions of bullies, thugs and cruel teachers she still intented to make people stronger and more independent in her own way. Because of how harshly Katarina was treated, Katya got a little soft with her new apprentice but not to the point of letting her know by any means she was going to treat her like some pitiful loser. Moreover, during her battle with Wáng, where she was booed by everyone, Katya was the only one who rose her voice to inspire Katarina and proving everyone they were wrong about that girl. As a result, this becomes one of the important memories of Katarina in her entire life, becoming the main memory of how important Katya is to her and why she was the mother she never had, becoming her main reason to leave Prime Earth to go after Katya and rescue her from own quest for revenge.
Katya likes calling Katarina as "puppy" due to her active, positive, and cheerful personality.

While she is an Anti-Heroine, the most common sense is that she is actually a villain trying to be a good person. What puts her under the category of an Anti-Hero is the fact that she is the main heroine and was raised in the friendly companion of La Folia. If she was a major or secondary character, she would be probably considered an Anti-Villain. Or, for that case, a villain with On & Off Heroic side. The fact that she do her good deeds out of being praised and loved only makes her image even worse as she is not doing it from goodness but for selfish reasons, meaning that she is not a hero by any means but at the same time not a villain as she is doing those good deeds to prevent her inhuman side from taking over her. No matter what, Katarina still a complex character.
Katarina is probably one of very few heroes (or, for that matter, heroes in general) whose perversion is not played for laughs or provides an advantage. This is because her rather infamous action of masturbing thinking in Rentaro, is treated as a sign that Katarina is losing so much hope to the point where she would resort to actions like this in order to "make her happy" (she herself is disgusted, yet someone pleased at her action). Another one more disturbing is when she lies beside Rentaro's corpses. She may also be suffering from necrophilia (a sexual paraphilia in which one is attracted, aroused, or excited by lifeless or unmoving corpses/bodies).
Katarina is one of the most contraversial characters of CIS Productions as a whole thanks to her depressive personality that made into a hypocrital heroine who tried to be a heroine to be accepted by the people as she knew no one would love her if she decided to be herself, who is in fact a sadistic psychopath. While being adored and loved by everyone, she thought she could finally had an excuse to inflict as much pain as possible in her enemies while saying she was merely doing her good deeds when in fact she was just doing it for sports. In a sense, she is not different from Ara Astaroth who tries to hide her aggressive, xenophobic, rude, sarcastic and rather childish side behind a mask of a composed and wise woman with soft-tone of words. However, unlike Ara, Katarina came to believe the image of herself being a heroine was her true-self, causing her to get a personality disorder between her true-self, the false-Katarina and Elesis who lives inside of her mind. In truth, the image of herself being a heroine was another excuse (one not even she couldn't notice) to have a reason to kill people. As a heroine, she always thought it was only natural for her doing those things but enjoying them, like a person building a social circle and feeling joy of forming new friendships in the process.
In the old script, Katarina had a more easy-going personality that was suppose to be very based in Goku from Dragon Ball until in 2018 the authors turned it into a false personification of Katarina, with her true one being a more depressive, dark and messed up one that can only be compared to more disturbing and contraversial characters like Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion and Guts from Berserker.
Katarina Couteau is the only hero of CIS Productions turned into villain who successfully had sucess in her agenda by destroying mankind and the rest of Prime Earth during the end of the Purge. Her Jikininki persona, Red Moon Tyrant, had success in this for being more manipulative, cunning, smarter and calculists than Katarina who is more brawls but uses her head often. Following the reversion of Downfall of the 0th Multi-Universe timeline by Nu Wa, Katarina gained Red's intelligence and cunning, making her more intelligent than most of the Rogues after that. Her level of intelligence can be compared 50 minus points compared to one of the most intelligent characters in the story, theFallen's Essence. Meaning she just intelligent as Kotori Itsuka and, for that matter, Melancholia or Eckidina KnightWalker.
Katarina was the second characters to be created by CIS Productions in 2015 in its early stages of creation, with the first being Ragnarok Iblis.
She pulled some biological traits of Isaac Westcott; hate heat, lack of shame of her actions and sarcasm.
Unlike other jerkish heroes of CIS Productions, Katarina is not really a jerk, only in her past as a delinquent. Rather, she lives in her own false heroine image to be able to interact with others, making her seem like an Anti-Heroine Level I when in fact Ara Astaroth and her past-self revels her to be even more disturbed, darker and creepier than how she initially appeared in the first episodes of Eckidina Arc. Unlike, for example, Imperia Deamonne and Azul Jissele who are obviously jerks, Katarina is even more deeper than that and acts like a broken psychopath who damaged her own mental health by trying to pretend someone she wasn't.
Katarina was shown to be a bad cooker. So much that she always explodes the kitchen of Fraxinus when trying to make a dishe. And when she does not explode the kitchen, she always creates alien-like dishes that makes everyone sick.
Katarina is often called as "Kat" by Valaine Le Deux for her love for her cats.
According to Junko Enoshima, if Katarina joined the Hope's Peak Academy, she would be considered as the Ultimate Pretender due to how good she is to fool her emotions.
If she were to compare herself to an animal, Katarina would have considered herself to be a tigress.
Like Kaitlyn Powell, Katarina has the fear of death, more than normal compared to other people. However, what she calls death is not simply dying, she fears being forgotten by everyone, which for her, is the same of dying even if the individual is alive.
Katarina, actually, speaks in German due to Westcott's German language but she is also fluent in English and Japanese for being rised in a Japanese society. Until Aryana Arc, she never knew she could speak in German and in Nosferatus in Mafusa Gang's Sub Arc.
Katarina suffers from psychopathy thanks to her father, Ike Ray Peram Westcott, who was actually even worse. Katarina fights this bad side of her with her own heroine façade but allows it to take over when making her enemies suffer so she doesn't need to hurt innocent people... but she does not hurt innocent or civilians because she sees them as harmless or people in the need to be protected, but because her comrades would react to it with repulsion and revolt.
In her Red Moon Tyrant and Black Demon forms, her laughs changes to a Ojou-Sama laugh: "Ohohohoho!".
Katarina is inspired by a part of Prime ShockWaveTX's depressive side during his teenager years when he locked himself from the world with headphones for being filled with people who never approached him no matter what he did to get involved with social circle. Her depressive side is an inspiration from it since her old concept in 2016.
She was also composed of DestroyerSubjugator90's false image of herself, which is actually new as it came in May, 2018. In his teenagers years, Subjugator tried his best to keep a façade of being a charismatic, funny and energetic person when he entered in college to be able to form friendships and prevent himself from being isolated from the class. However, when he was transferred to another college, he gave on this façade and returned to be his true-self for losing all the friendships and crush he formed back then.
Katarina despises policy, so much that she could hit a politician if she saw one right in front of her... another part inspired from the authors, DarkFallen, for his hatred for the Brazillian Policy during the socialist control in Brazil. Aside from her hatred for politicians, she also shared Fallen's dislikes for extremist religious who use the word of God to twist the Bibly, making Fallen disagree with the way how society as a whole sees God (a God who refuses to accept homosexuals, a God who allows incest, a God who punish humans for mere mistakes, a God who needs money in his Churchs and so go on). In other words, Katarina hates how society sees God, a dreadful entity who earns the love of other followers (whom are mostly elderly) based in the fear of going to Hell rather than righteous faith.
Spectra, himself, is suppose to be a vision of how DarkFallen sees God, a benevolent being who don't blame people who never believed in his existence as he was never there to be witnessed by the mortals.
Katarina in Red Moon Tyrant is considered to be a Horsemen of Frashokereti.
Katarina, in the original version, was supposed to be more "wild" and idiotic, being more like a full version of Son Goku from Dragon Ball combined with Luffy from One Piece and Natsu from Fairy Tail, but as the New Concept came and turned the story more realistic, darker and detailed, this old concept was discarded and Katarina herself became part of this dark world by having more personality, more internal conflicts, full of flaws and having several real experiences from all authors. Actually, Katarina was suppose to be a character based in Shounen protagonists but with several flaws andwithout the power of protagonism where the heroes take their forces out of nowhere while Katarina can only use the force she has at the moment.
Katarina thought Maria Arzonia's true language was Portuguese while others thought she was Italian. Luckily, she never had the chance to say it...

Katarina is actually a fragment born from Elesis' persona. Or so, it can be said she is a clone of Elesis but without her straight psychopathy. Instead, Katarina suffers from this psychopathy while Elesis is a psychopath and embrace it. In MAD sections, her personalities will appear more often in a nice way to break out from the darkness and psychological tension the authors put over her characters to the point she almost became a character that came out of Warhammer, Berserker or some kind of fictional work full of dementia and psychological drama.
Katarina appears to suffer from severe hay-fever that causes her to sneeze uncontrollably if pollen in her near vicinity is disturbed.
Katarina still have some traces of her old concept, including her tendency to eat everything she finds to be delicious, eat a lot, is the same naive and stupid character when she is doing things she don't know, always critizing the villains' plan in a rather comical way, is a bad cooker, is always insulting others without intentions and her all-brawn personality that is later changed once Mafusa Gang's Revenge Sub Arc is over, giving her Red Moon Tyrant's intelligence to manipulate people, forming complex long-plans and forming battle strategies.
Katarina's most recents updates in Novemeber 2018 turned her more serious and even more complex than before. Back in 2016, she was already complex by having Elesis' taking over her mind with small fragments of her insanity but the most recent updates gave Katarina the same illness problems of Elesis, making the two insane alike. Instead, Elesis was the one who got softer while Katarina became more ruthless and shocking.
Following her freedom of her heroine façade, her eyes become more empty than before, meaning Katarina had finally become a single entity as psychopathic sadist while Elesis fell asleep in her body. However, now that she was a truly single person, she could control her emotions and no longer needed to hide her true-self from others.
Katarina's love for Rentaro was revealed to be nothing but sexual lust before the ending of Mafusa Gang's Revenge Sub Arc, when the timeline was reseted, she could finally express her love towards him... in a more sexual way by licking his neck. But, at least, her feelings for him this time were true.
Tamashii no rufuran - evangelion-0
If Katarina had to choose a music to represent herself, it would be Tamashii no Rufuran performed by Takahashi Youko. The song was used in the Neon Genesis Evangelion game, Battle Orchestra and curious enough, the lyrics explain much of Katarina's depressive and state with her soul. The music was used as the ending for Kiss of Death episode.
Katarina's most hated individuals are Aki Honda, Ara Astaroth and Ike Ray Peram Westcott, three of the people who caused mostly of all her tragedies in her life.
In her true-self, Katarina's facial expression in-universe becomes even more vacant and empty compared to that of former-self, meaning she lost her sanity completely and became what she truly is but strange enough she can control her urges and emotions. But even so, even in this state, she continues to be a pathetic and cosmic plaything character at times. For instance, it's like having a Vira Hermes in the good side.
In her true-self, Katarina also loses all her fears, including her fear from Michael Langdon after his betrayal in Sleepy Hollow. Others of her fear are death itself, something she no longer cares about. When facing Michael and Vira again, Katarina could only pity them for being fool enough to face her again.
While she is often compared to Carl Robinson, Katarina is not a jerk or an anti-heroine but a villain trying to be a hero by all means. Following her true-self, which exposed her true personality, turned her more insane and rather respectful in a sarcastic way. So in a common sense of view, Katarina was not a lighter version of Carl but a different type of character stepping in the same line. Moreover, much of her psychology is considered more complex while Carl's thoughts and ideology were straight and righteous. Katarina's false image of being a heroine was more selfish and hypocrital, and had no real interest in saving mankind, only the people close to her. This all changes when she becomes her true-self, which adds her with more pessimist points of mankind much like Carl and several others villains but always states she doesn't care as long it does not reach her area of interest.
In her true-self, Katarina had a vision of Carl similar to Imperia, actually, making the two similar in all ways, much to Carl's dismay. However, unlike Imperia who was rude, Katarina acted like a sophisticated and well-mannered psychopath rather than a mischevious one. Which, of course, was more relaxing to Carl as she could not support Imperia's mistreats.
Katarina in her Black Demon form had a bizarre hobby of dancing with dead bodies, which may be something related to her necrophily exposed during her scene sleeping alongside Rentaro's dead body. However, it may not even be sexual but treating corpses as toys.

Tomoe Gozen[]
Tomoe Gozen, born in 1157, was one of the greatest female Samurai warriors of all time. Though female samurais were not unheard of in Japan at this time, Tomoe’s extremely impressive martial arts skills, archery talent, and swordsmanship made her one of the only female warriors whose stories have been recorded in thorough detail in ancient manuscripts. Tomoe fought most notably in the Gempei War and is believed to have singlehandedly killed off a group of enemy soldiers, decapitating their leader after he attempted to pull her off her horse. While Tomoe is thought to have survived the war (unlike her husband), the legends vary: Some say she became a nun for the rest of her life and others believe that she committed seppuku (suicide).
After defeating the Taira and driving them into the western provinces, Yoshinaka took Kyoto and desired to be the leader of the Minamoto clan. His cousin Yoritomo was prompted to crush Yoshinaka, and sent his brothers Yoshitsune and Noriyori to kill him. Yoshinaka fought Yoritomo's forces at the Battle of Awazu on February 21, 1184, where Tomoe Gozen purportedly took at least one head of the enemy. Although Yoshinaka's troops fought bravely, they were outnumbered and overwhelmed. When Yoshinaka was defeated there, with only a few of his soldiers standing, he told Tomoe Gozen to flee because he wanted to die with his foster brother Imai no Shiro Kanehira and he said that he would be ashamed if he died with a woman.
Khutulun[]
Of all the possible titles for a ruler, “warrior princess” may be the most badass. Born in 1260 as the great-great-granddaughter of Genghis Khan, Khutulun was Mongolian royalty best known for her independent spirit and incredible wrestling abilities, which were recorded in history by Marco Polo. As her father taught her the inner workings of the military and encouraged her political ambitions, he also desired that his daughter should have a husband who truly deserved her. So, not particularly wanting to be married off, Khutulun set forth a challenge—she would marry any man who could beat her in a wrestling match, but any man who she beat would have to give her a horse. She wound up with 10,000 horses.
Khutulun (c. 1260 – c. 1306), also known as Aigiarne, Aiyurug, Khotol Tsagaan or Ay Yaruqx (literally Moonlight)[1] was the most famous daughter of Kaidu, a cousin of Kublai Khan. Her father was most pleased by her abilities, and she accompanied him on military campaigns. Marco Polo and Rashid al-Din both wrote of her. Khutulun was born about 1260. By 1280, her father Kaidu became the most powerful ruler of Central Asia, reigning in the realms from western Mongolia to Oxus, and from the Central Siberian Plateau to India. Marco Polo described Khutulun as a superb warrior, one who could ride into enemy ranks and snatch a captive as easily as a hawk snatches a chicken. She assisted her father in many battles, particularly against the Yuan Dynasty of her cousin the Great Khan – Kublai (r. 1260–94).
Khutulun insisted that any man who wished to marry her must defeat her in wrestling. Winning horses from competitions and the wagers of would-be suitors, it is said that she gathered a herd numbering ten thousand. Sources vary about her husband's identity. Some chronicles say her husband was a handsome man who failed to assassinate her father and was taken prisoner; others refer to him as Kaidu's companion from the Choros clan. Rashid al-Din wrote that Khutulun fell in love with Ghazan, Mongol ruler in Persia. Of all Kaidu's children, Khutulun was the favorite, and the one from whom he most sought advice and political support. According to some accounts, he tried to name her as his successor to the khanate before he died in 1301. However, his choice was declined due to her male relatives. When Kaidu died, Khutulun guarded his tomb with the assistance of her brother Orus. She was challenged by her other brothers including Chapar and relative Duwa because she resisted their succession. She died in 1306.
Mai Bhago[]
In a time of war, when Sikhs and Mughals were going at it non-stop, it all ended up being a bit too much for some. But not Mai Bhago. When 40 Sikhs from her village decided to give up and leave their Guru, she wasn’t having any of it.After the men returned home, Mai didn't talk to them and try and get them to change their minds. No. She suited up in her husband's armour and led by example, embarrassing the 40 Sikhs into following her into battle.Under her lead, the men managed to force the Mughals back and while none of them actually survived the fracas, they were at least forgiven by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. As for Mai Bhago, she was so good on the battlefield that the Guru decided to make her his bodyguard.
Mai Bhago was born in ancestral village of Jhabal near Patti, in the present-day Tarn Taran district of Majha region of the Panjab into a Jat dhillion Family She married Bhai Nidhan Singh of Patti. Mai Bhago was a staunch Sikh by birth and upbringing. and she had brothers who were also staunch Sikhs. When she was young, her parents took her to Anandpur Sahib to glimpse Guru Gobind Singh Ji (1666–1708), the 10th Sikh Guru. Khutulun is thought to be the basis for the character of Turandot, who has been the subject of a number of Western works. While in Mongol culture she is remembered as a famous athlete and warrior, in Western artistic adaptations she is depicted as a proud woman who finally succumbs to love.
Nancy Wake[]
Nancy Grace Augusta Wake AC, GM (30 August 1912 – 7 August 2011) served as a British Special Operations Executive agent during the later part of World War II. She became a leading figure in the maquis groups of the French Resistance and was one of the Allies' most decorated servicewomen of the war who commanded more than 7,000 resistance fighters during the Nazis’ occupation of France in World War II. She became the Gestapo’s most wanted person and the number one most wanted women of Nazi Party at the time of France Invasion.
After the fall of France in 1940, she became a courier for the French Resistance and later joined the escape network of Captain Ian Garrow. By 1943, Wake was the Gestapo's most wanted person, with a 5 million-franc price on her head. After reaching Britain, Wake joined the Special Operations Executive.
On the night of 29/30 April 1944, Wake was parachuted into occupied France Auvergne, becoming a liaison between London and the local maquis group headed by Captain Henri Tardivat in the Forest of Tronçais. From April 1944 until the liberation of France, her 7,000+ maquisards fought 22,000 German soldiers, causing 1,400 casualties, while suffering only 100 themselves.
Queen Boudica[]
Boudicca was married to Prasutagus, ruler of the Iceni people of East Anglia. When the Romans conquered southern England in AD 43, they allowed Prasutagus to continue to rule. However, when Prasutagus died the Romans decided to rule the Iceni directly and confiscated the property of the leading tribesmen. They are also said to have stripped and flogged Boudicca and raped her daughters. These actions exacerbated widespread resentment at Roman rule.
In 60 or 61 AD, while the Roman governor Gaius Suetonius Paullinus was leading a campaign in North Wales, the Iceni rebelled. Members of other tribes joined them.Boudicca's warriors successfully defeated the Roman Ninth Legion and destroyed the capital of Roman Britain, then at Colchester. They went on to destroy London and Verulamium (St Albans). Thousands were killed. Finally, Boudicca was defeated by a Roman army led by Paulinus. Many Britons were killed and Boudicca is thought to have poisoned herself to avoid capture. The site of the battle, and of Boudicca's death, are unknown.
Joan of Arc[]
Not just a legendary female warrior but also a Roman Catholic saint, Joan was but a girl when visions of the Archangel Michael drove her to approach the military of France's King Charles VII and offer to assist in his efforts to expel the occupying English in the later days of the Hundred Years' War. Though initially mocked by these men and soldiers, Joan was taken seriously once her influence ended the Siege of Orleans in nine days.
By age 17, she played a key role in commanding France's army, and her forte in the military seemed to be for strategy over slaying. The French owed much to Joan, and yet it was the Burgundians, Frenchmen loyal to England, that led to her demise. She was captured in 1430 and, despite several escape attempts and rescue efforts, Joan was put on trial by the English for heresy and cross-dressing. Her visions were now derided, and her armor called an atrocity. She was convicted, sentenced to death, and burned alive at the stake.
Even after her death, her strategies are said to have influenced the French battle model. More than 25 years later, the Catholic Church revisited Joan's trial for heresy, overturning the charges against her in a case of too little too late. It would be more than 460 years before Pope Benedict XV declared Joan a saint.
Nakano Takeko[]
One of the only known onna-bugeisha (female samurais) in Japan's history, Takeko was educated in literary and martial arts before distinguishing herself in the Boshin War, a Japanese civil war that lasted from January 3, 1868 to May 18, 1869.
In the Battle of Aizu in the fall of 1868, she and other females who chose to fight were not recognized as an official part of the Aizu army. Nonetheless, Takeko led her peers in a unit that was later dubbed Jōshitai, which translates to the "Women's Army." Her weapon of choice was the naginta, a Japanese pole arm. But while it helped her earn glory, it would not safeguard her through the war.
Takeko was shot in the chest while leading a charge against the Imperial Japanese Army of the Ogaki domain. Fearing that her enemies would defile her body and make her head a gruesome war trophy, she asked her sister to cut it off and bury it. This was her final wish, and her head was subsequently buried beneath a pine tree at the Hōkai-ji Temple in modern-day Fukushima. Today, a monument to her stands nearby, where girls come each year to honor her and her Women's Army during the Aizu Autumn Festival.

Goku is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise. He is voiced by Sean Schemmel in the FUNimation dub as a teenager and as an adult and Stephanie Nadolny as a child while Schemmel reprised his role in Dragon Ball Z Kai and in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Resurrection of F and Dragon Ball Super and Colleen Clinkenbeard voices Kid Goku in Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies and Masako Nozawa voices Goku as an adult, teen and kid in the Original Japanese dub.
Originally as an infant Saiyan, Goku was programmed with intense hostility to carry out his mission of eradicating all sentient life on Earth. When found by Grandpa Gohan, he was unruly and aggressive, wanting nothing to do with the elder, although this was seemingly only when worked up as when initially found by Gohan, he quickly took a liking to the elder. However, after the head injury that caused him to lose his memory as Kakarot along with his more violent Saiyan tendencies, Goku became well-known for his energetic and caring personality, traits he seemed to inherit from his mother Gine. He was also taught to be respectful to others by Grandpa Gohan. He takes most situation in stride, he rarely lets things get him worked up; he quickly got over losing his tail each time. He is however not without fear. Goku is shown to be scared of overbearing women like Bulma and Chi-Chi, even to the point of Master Roshi jokingly declaring that for all his universal-class might, he is terrified to face his wife. In the anime, he also has a crippling fear of needles.
Sakata Gintoki[]
Sakata Gintoki is the hero and protagonist of the anime and manga series Gintama. While usually coming across as lazy, selfish, greedy and an overall jerk, he is a true hero who defends those who cannot fight for themselves and always keeps his promises to protect others and especially those close to him. He is a jack of all trades who runs his own business called the Yorozuya, who take on all manners of jobs for a small fee. He runs this business alongside his two friends, a young samurai-in-training Shimura Shinpachi and the young alien girl Kagura.
He was a Joui patriot along with his fellow former comrades, Katsura Kotaro (who is currently a new leader of new Joui), Takasugi Shinsuke (Gintoki and Katsura's former friend turned enemy and the leader of Kiheitai) and Sakamoto Tatsuma (a happy go lucky guy who is now left to space and becomes a successful businessman of Kaientai). Prior becoming a Joui patriot, he was raised and trained by Yoshida Shoyo, along with Takasugi and Katsura. When Kansai Purge happened, the school where he, Katsura and Takasugi was burnt down and his master was arrested by Tensho Sect. Gintoki, who was tied down, watched helplessly as Shoyo was taken away. While his master being taken away, Shoyo left everything to Gintoki's care and promised him that he would come back and he asked his student to protect his comrades before he returned.
Natsu Dragneel[]
Natsu Dragneel is the main protagonist of the anime/manga series Fairy Tail. He is a Fire Dragon Slayer, a member of the Fairy Tail Guild and a member of Team Natsu. He is the younger brother of Zeref having originally been killed 400 years ago by a Dragon but was brought back to life by his brother as his most powerful demon, E.N.D.. He is also among the five Dragon Slayers sent to the future from four hundred years past, having an additional purpose in the assistance of the defeat of Acnologia. He is also the uncle of August of the Spriggan 12.
He is voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara in the Japanese version of the anime and famous voice actor Todd Haberkorn in the English version, the former of whom also voices Simon, Jin Kisaragi and Rundelhaus Code.
Shido Itsuka[]
Shido Itsuka (born: Shido Takamiya) is the main protagonist of the light novel and anime series Date A Live. He was adopted into the Itsuka family at a young age, and he has a younger foster sister named Kotori Itsuka, as well as a biological younger sister named Mana Takamiya.
Shido is also a very kind-hearted person, and can sympathize with others; these traits are what caused most of the Spirits to fall in love with him, as the thing they seem to lack most of all has always been a person who can do exactly this: i.e. accept and understand them. Even Miku, who treated everyone like puppets, ended up changing her world view because of him.
He also possesses a strong will and a friendly willingness to forgive others. He will press on to save the Spirits despite great personal risk to himself. When responding to Natsumi's comment about the trouble she caused him, he compares her actions to what he went through during all of his past attempts to help spirits and can only call her actions childish pranks: this is a girl who nearly ruined his reputation and erased all his friends and would've then erased him had she succeeded.
Elesis (Elsword)[]
Elesis, Elsword's big sister and mentor, is a fearsome free knight who carries a great Claymore sword and a playable character in Elsword games as well as a supporting character in Elsword: El Lady animation. With her zeal and remarkable fighting skills, she has found her way through Elrios and back to Ruben, now tougher than ever. She journeys once more to stop the demons in their tracks, in hopes of keeping the continent safe for her beloved brother.
Elesis is Elsword's older sister and sword-fighting mentor. At 16, she had already traveled far to become a better swordfighter. She returns to Ruben to join her brother in training, only to part ways again after enduring a vicious attack from the demons. With a mission to protect Elrios from an absolute demon invasion, Elesis takes on the road once more. This may be the best way to keep her brother and their homeland safe. While she does not know when, Elesis eagerly looks forward to someday reuniting with her beloved brother.
Kaneki Ken[]
Ken Kaneki (金木 研, Kaneki Ken) is the protagonist of Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re.
Formerly a human studying Japanese Literature at Kamii University and living a normal life, everything was soon changed after he had Rize's kakuhou transplanted into him and became a One-Eyed Ghoul. After joining Anteiku as a part-time waiter, he learns how to live as a Ghoul and became known as Eyepatch (眼帯, Gantai).
After being captured by Aogiri Tree, he was able to accept his ghoul side, forming a team with the goal of protecting the ones precious to him and "plucking out" people who threaten the place he belongs to. Because of his Kakuja's distinct appearance, the CCG gave him the nickname Centipede (百足, Mukade).
He is currently living under the identity of Haise Sasaki (佐々木 琲世, Sasaki Haise), as a Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator, serving as the mentor of the CCG's Quinx Squad and a member of Team Mado. However, his memories of his past have been lost, leaving him unaware of his true self.
Luke Skywalker[]
Luke Skywalker is a character from the highly acclaimed and iconic Star Wars franchise. He is an incredible Jedi who would grow up to defeat the empire. He is the son of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, the second Jedi Padwan of Yoda (after Count Dooku) and the brother of Leia Organa.
Luke is the main protagonist of the original film trilogy, as well as a cameo character in Revenge of the Sith, the last movie of the prequel trilogy as an infant. He is also a major protagonist in the sequel trilogy, serving as a minor character in it's first chapter, The Force Awakens and the deuteragonist of it's second chapter, The Last Jedi.
He also a cameo in the Star Wars Rebels episode Twin Suns.
He is famously played by Mark Hamill, who is also well-known for playing numerous different versions of an iconic villain, The Joker. He has also been played by C. Andrew Nelson, Joshua Fardon, Bob Bergen, Lloyd Floyd, Matt Lanter (who also played his father), Eric Bauza, Christopher Corey Smith and Anthony Hansen.
Ryūko Matoi[]
Ryuko Matoi is the main protagonist of the Kill la Kill anime and manga. She is a nomadic transfer student who transfers to Honnōji Academy in search of the other half of a red Scissor Blade she carries, and the one who murdered her father, Isshin Matoi.
Ryuko displays herself to be a fierce and stubborn school girl. She is seemingly not afraid of anything, which is demonstrated by how easily she stands up to Satsuki Kiryuin and demands her questions to be answered. She also shows no fear when she fights with the Boxing Club president who clearly overpowers her. Later on, she is shown to be quite embarrassed when she is forced to fight in her very revealing outfit, though she overcomes her embarrassment in Episode 3, showing that while she is not afraid of fighting to her death, she is quite conscious of her body. She also shows fierce determination in finding her father's killer.
Her stubbornness was taken up to ridiculous levels when she managed to free herself from Ragyō's mind control by punching herself on the cheek. This same episode, however, has one of few demonstrations of shock on her part, when Ragyo defeats Satsuki, rips out Ryuko's heart and reveals to be her mother.
Simon[]
Simon is the main protagonist of the anime series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. He begins the story as a short, unassuming and lonely young boy, but grows up into a commanding and well-loved man. Hailed for being like a drill. he became known as a legendary hero who overcame impossible odds both personal and universal and now stands eternally as a beacon for the good of all man and Spiral kind.
Simon is polite, humble, compassionate and brave. At the start of the series, he was a shy, extremely withdrawn boy, finding solace only whilst digging tunnels for the expansion of Jeeha village. He also had a huge fear of earthquakes after losing his parents in one, though this changed when he discovered that the Gunmen were responsible for those earthquakes. After finding Lagann and fighting a Beastmen for the first time, he began to come out of his shell but continued to fear the pressure to be brave and fight for the rest of the team. Initially, Simon relied heavily on those around him to inspire him to fight bravely, especially Kamina, who often had to convince Simon to pluck up the courage needed in battle.
However, Simon displayed an uncanny aptitude for combat despite his timidness, and has even enjoyed himself on the battlefield, as seen during the first battle against Thymilph. He is also more than capable of being brave, and refused to just stand around while Kamina got himself killed. Simon is also very level-headed, and often kept the rash and reckless Kamina from making poor decisions; Kamina even remarked at one point that his level head is the only thing that kept him alive.
He is voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara in the Japanese version and Yuri Lowenthal in the English version.
Ichigo Kurosaki[]
Ichigo Kurosaki is the main protagonist of the anime/manga series Bleach. He is a teenager with the ability to see spirits who gains the powers of a Shinigami from Rukia Kuchiki. He is a hybrid of Human, Soul, Quincy and Hollow. He is also the love interest and eventual husband of Orihime Inoue.
Ichigo is very hot-tempered and determined and usually works to maintain a very serious and detached attitude, even though he claims he doesn’t care what others think of him. Ichigo usually has a scowl and acknowledges that he is very hot-hothead and will never walk away from a fight. However he is very compassionate and empathetic towards those around him, he just doesn’t show it. Ichigo is a very good student, coming in 23rd in his entire grade, and always keeps up his studies. He does so to ensure people don’t get the wrong idea of him because of his hair color and his habit of fighting. He dislikes fortune telling, horoscopes, or likewise and has trouble remembering names and faces. Ichigo is rather disrespectful when he talks to those older than him, calling Captain Yamamoto, “gramps”, and addressing many other captains by their first names.
He is voiced by Masakazu Morita in the Japanese version of the anime and legendary voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch in the English version, the former of whom also voices Claire Stanfield.
Fa Mulan[]
Fa Mulan is the titular protagonist of Disney's 36th full-length animated feature film of the same name. Unlike the previous Disney Princesses who were feminine, sweet, caring, classy, clever, kind and gentle, 18 year old Mulan is tomboyish and is more courageous, strong and self-reliant. And while most Chinese women at the time were expected to be graceful, quiet, and shy, Mulan was independent and outspoken. However, Mulan can be a bit clumsy, like when she tries to impress a matchmaker.
She is tough, smart, intelligent, selfless, and determined, especially when it comes to joining the army in her father's place to save his life and her family, showing Captain Li Shang how brave a warrior she is, and defending China and the Emperor from Shan-Yu and the invading Huns.
Her character was praised by critics and audiences, and is one of those Disney heroines who broke the gender barriers. She is the 8th Disney Princess in the official lineup. She is voiced by Ming-Na Wen with Lea Salonga doing her singing voice, six years earlier she had originally done the singing voice of Princess Jasmine.
Ayumu Aikawa[]
Ayumu Aikawa (相川 歩, Aikawa Ayumu?) is a 16-year old male who was murdered by a serial killer. He lives on as a zombie resurrected by Eucliwood Hellscythe. He is currently living with her, along with Haruna and Seraphim. He is the main protagonist of the series of Kore Wa Zombie Desuka?. He has the ability to transform into a Masou-Shoujo.
As a zombie, Ayumu has a strong dislike of intense heat and sunlight, which quickly leads to him being dehydrated and severely desiccated, and is a constant problem for him during the spring and summer months. When subjected to intense pain, he will temporarily submit to it, but will then overcome such reactions, because he remembers that he is an immortal and cannot die. He is also usually in weak-hearted, lazy state of mind, which often works against him, leaving him vulnerable to punishment or ambush, as was the case with his killer, Kyoko.
He mostly daydreams of Eucliwood, in which she calls him Onii-chan (lit. older brother) and asks for a bath, or food in a manner of a cute girl. Eu clearly knows about the fact that he daydreamed of her. When Haruna had absorbed Eu's magic and Eu was free to speak, she deliberately asked him if he was going to daydream about her or not. This suggests that Eu may see him as a sister-complexed pervert who would be able to fantasize about a given person at any point in time.
However, in times of conflict, this aspect of his personality disappears, and he is shown to be a decisive, aggressive person who speaks, thinks, and acts according to his conscience. In particular situations, such as his battle with Kyoko, he is also shown to have a ferocious and vengeful side to his personality as well, and he acts in line with that as well. This was dramatically illustrated when he killed Kyoko down to her last life in an overwhelming assault with Haruna's chainsaw, and when he overpowered Yoruno in hand-to-hand combat.
Steven Universe[]
Steven Quartz Universe DeMayo is the titular main protagonist of the Cartoon Network television series by the same name, Steven Universe. He a member of the Crystal Gems and the son of Rose Quartz, the late founder and original leader of the Crystal Gems. He is also shown to be good friends with Connie Maheswaran, Amethyst, Peridot and Lapis (until Lapis left Earth in "Raising the Barn").
Steven is an optimistic, friendly, outgoing, and carefree boy with a happy-go-lucky attitude that is appreciated by many of the citizens of Beach City in one way or another. He is musically inclined, a trait he inherits from his father, with a propensity for breaking out into song and occasionally playing on his ukulele. Steven is also very kind-hearted, good-natured, and compassionate, something which Pearl notes he inherits from his mother, and he deeply loves his friends and family. He is friendly toward almost everyone he meets (even to his detriment), rarely holds grudges, and is very non-discriminatory, never treating anyone with prejudice, even towards his enemies. No matter the situation, Steven will always go out of his way to support his loved ones, even if it means putting his life on the line, and he will avoid resorting to violence. He would much rather make a compromise and choose reasoning than fighting back.
Steven looks up to his caretakers — Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl — and considers them family. He wants to be a great hero just like them, and he is eager to go on adventures with the trio, both to prove his worth and to have fun exploring strange lands. Despite his under-developed magical power and lack of experience, he has proven himself to have much heroic potential through his resourcefulness, optimism, and confidence.

Scathach[]
Lancer (ランサー, Ransā?) is a Lancer-class Servant able to be summoned by the Protagonist in the Grand Orders of Fate/Grand Order.
Lancer's True Name is Scáthach (スカサハ, Sukasaha?), a female warrior-queen from Celtic Mythology's Ulster Cycle. The queen and gatekeeper of the foreign territory/haunted ground called the "Land of Shadows" (影の国, Kage no Kuni?), she is a prodigy of spearmanship and Rune magecraft. She possesses a power immense enough to obtain control over and close the gate of the "Land of Shadows", which is overflowing with countless ghosts, to ward off the dead. It has been said that she became the mentor of Cú Chulainn - who would later grow into the hero of Ulster - guiding him, teaching all sorts of techniques and even bestowing his favorite magic spear. She also instructed his son, Connla.
Throughout her battles, Scáthach eventually ceased being human and started to be closed off from the World, unable to die as a human. She was known to be a woman "strong like a monster" who many sought out for apprenticeship. At the age of sixteen, Cú Chulainn traveled to the Land of Shadows in search of fame, and she became his mentor, guiding him in the "secrets of leaping", teaching him runic magecraft, and granting him his favorite demonic spear, Gáe Bolg.
Seras Victoria[]
Seras Victoria is one of the main protagonists in the Hellsing series. Seras was turned into a vampire by Alucard to save her from a would-be fatal gunshot wound in the chest, that he also caused.
Seras is a strong willed woman, and apparently had always been since childhood which is confirmed through her flashbacks. Seras is often considered a tomboy; a very brave, strong-willed and heroic young woman who often rejects following orders of her master that cross with her personal beliefs. Her devotion to morals and integrity is rather unusual, considering her horrid past. However, she is a loyal and trustworthy soldier who will diligently follow the orders of her commander, provided said commander has proven his or her worth. Her level of maturity in comparison to the other characters is somewhat questionable; she seems to be the child the others could not be, yet possessing a sort of worldly maturity and superficial intelligence that most other characters lack, as well as a sort of 'nature winning against nurture' mentality, as opposed to most other characters. She's the "light that stands out from the darkness" (quoting Kouta Hirano from a recent interview).
She is voiced by Fumiko Orikasa in the Japanese version of the anime and Katherine T. Gray in the English version.
Daryl Dixon[]
Daryl Dixon is a main character, a survivor of the zombie apocalypse in AMC's The Walking Dead, and is the deuteragonist of the show, sharing the role with Carl Grimes and Carol Peletier. He is the younger brother to Merle Dixon and makes his debut appearance in "Tell It to the Frogs". Daryl is an expert at hunting, tracking, and navigating. Due to his survival skills, Rick Grimes values him as an important member of the group, him being his right-hand man. Following the deaths of Ed and Sophia Peletier, Daryl has developed a close bond with fellow survivor Carol Peletier.
Daryl is a both physically and emotionally strong man. He is often volatile, but he is still significantly more level-headed and rational than his older brother, Merle Dixon. Though he is usually distant, Daryl has often shown to be caring and selfless. All on his own, he risks his life in an attempt to find the lost Sophia Peletier on multiple occasions, one of which nearly cost him his life, and immediately takes initiative to go back to find Andrea when she gets separated from the group.
He later formed a brief bond with fellow survivor Beth Greene. His weapon of choice is the Crossbow. He is also the main (playable) protagonist in the AMC Video Game and prequel to the TV Series, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
Inverse Tohka[]
Dark Tohka, also known as "Inverse Tohka", is one of the main antagonists in Date A Live II. Dark Tohka is a evil and dark version of Tohka Yatogami. Dark Tohka is also the true form of Tohka.
Her personality is almost unrecognizable, as there is no facial expression, but her face shows sadness most of the time. She acts as a machine without emotions. The moment she showed the closest thing to an emotion is when she thought she had finally exterminated Shidou. Dark Tohka is extremely wary and indifferent, with a harsh and callous attitude. She finds most things uninteresting. She always responds with overwhelming force to try to kill any person or living being that is in front of her and is extremely violent, unlike other Spirits.
Dark Tohka does not believe in human emotions, she considers love and other human emotions a waste of time, and completely useless. Her demeanor is one of complete calm and focused, so she is never caught off guard. Dark Tohka does not seem to understand the normal behavior of a Spirit during combat, as contrary to all expectations, she was enraged when challenged by Shidou. She relies mainly on keen instinct and intuition.
She is still voiced by Marina Inoue and Michelle Rojas.
Jack Sparrow[]
Captain Jack Sparrow is the main protagonist of pirates of the Caribbean film series. He is the main protagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and the tritagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. He is the only main character to appear as a major character in all the films, because the movies don't have a fixed protagonist, he is commonly seen as the series's overall main protagonist.
Though he is more accurately described as a true anti-hero since he embodies the ideals of a true pirate, doing what he deems necessary to keep himself out of trouble, though usually failing at doing so. In all of the films the character is portrayed by Johnny Depp and is considered one of Disney's most popular modern heroes. Captain Jack Sparrow is a fictional character in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. The character was created by screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, and is portrayed by Johnny Depp.
He is first introduced in the film Pirates because of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). He later appears in the sequels Dead Man's Chest (2006), At World's End (2007), and On Stranger Tides (2011). He was brought to life by Depp, who based his characterization on The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and cartoon character Pepé Le Pew. The series Pirates of the Caribbean was inspired by a Disney theme park ride, and when the ride was revamped in 2006, the character of Jack Sparrow was added to it. He also headlines The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Sparrow is also the subject of a children's book series Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow, which chronicles his teenage years, and he has also appeared in several video games.
Tempest Shadow[]
Commander Tempest Shadow, real name Fizzlepop Berrytwist, is the secondary antagonist turn one of the supporting protagonist and main anti-heroine of the 2017 animated movie My Little Pony: the Movie. She is The Storm King's second-in-command before he betrayed her, Grubber's boss, closest companion and friend and Twilight's arch-nemesis turned friend.
Tempest is a unicorn from Equestria who has lost her way (and her magic) and joined the villainous side, acting as a henchpony for the Storm King. Jaded, angry and feeling betrayed by her friends in Equestria, Tempest has become the Storm King's second-in-command and chief bounty hunter, tasked with tracking down and capturing the Mane Six. She has agreed to the mission in exchange for reinstating her magic. With one of the strongest story arcs in the movie, Tempest learns the true power of the magic of friendship.
She is voiced by British-American actress Emily Blunt, who also played Freya in The Huntsman: A Winter's Tale, and The Baker's Wife from Into the Woods.
Monkey D. Luffy[]
Monkey D. Luffy is the main protagonist of One Piece. He is the son of Monkey D. Dragon. He is the grandson of Monkey D. Garp and also the sworn brother of the late Portgas D. Ace and Sabo. His main aspiration is to become the King of the Pirates and is searching for the One Piece, a legendary treasure left by the previous Pirate King named Gold Roger. His inspiration comes from a crew of other pirates who used to visit his island when he was little, the captain of which was "Red-Haired" Shanks. During one of this pirate crew's visits, he accidentally ate the Gomu Gomu no mi, a type of Devil Fruit that made his body like rubber.
The catch to having these powers is an inability to swim: all those who eat a Devil Fruit will drown if they fall into the ocean. He is the the founder and captain of the Straw Hat Pirates (named for the straw hat Shanks had given him the last time they'd met). The world government views Luffy as a threat, (as he is a pirate, current offender who punched a Celestial Dragon after Fisher Tiger and the son of the Revolutionary Dragon, after all). He is also part of the 12 troublemaking pirates called the Worst Generation.
His first bounty was 30,000,000 Berries after defeating the three top pirates of East Blue and the marine captain Morgan. His second bounty was 100,000,000 Berries after he defeated the Shichibukai Sir Crocodile. His third bounty was 300,000,000 Berries after defeated Blueno and Rob Lucci and declared a war against the World Government. His fourth bounty was 400,000,000 Berries after he defeated another Shichibukai, Gekko Moriah; punched a Celestial Dragon (and managed escaped from Kizaru from the help of Bartholomew Kuma by sending him flying to Amazon Lily so that the World Government and the Marines will not be able to find him); break into and out of Impel Down; invaded Marineford to rescue his brother Portgas D. Ace with Whitebeard's help, for being publicly revealed as a son of the Revolutionary Dragon; after Ace died, he escape Marineford by the help of Jinbei; and he returned to Marineford to ring the Ox Bell 16 times. Luffy's current bounty is 500,000,000 Berries after he defeated another Shichibukai, Donquixote Doflamingo, and formed an alliance with Trafalgar D. Water Law. He take part of the Sanji's Retrieve Team to destroy his arranged wedding with Charlotte Pudding and take Sanji back (until learned that he fall into Big Mom's trap to get himself, his crew (including Sanji) and the entire Vinsmoke Family killed). He formed an alliance with the Fire Tank Pirates Captain and one of his rivals, Capone Bege to overthrow the Yonko, Big Mom and save the Vinsmoke Family but their alliance began to end as they prepare to escape Totto land.
Gumball Watterson[]
Gumball Tristopher Watterson is the main protagonist of the television series, The Amazing World of Gumball.
Gumball is portrayed as a fun-loving, imaginative, rather optimistic, and a very mischievous cat. When his mishaps get himself into a mess, he usually attempts to fix things with somewhat dimwitted ideas, which usually get him into even more trouble than before. No matter how his schemes resolve themselves, Gumball's naïveté stops him from learning his lesson. He usually plans his mishaps with Darwin. Like Darwin, Gumball does not appear to notice deception, which may mean that he is too optimistic to notice most negative things around him.
He is a student that attends Elmore High School along with his brother, Darwin, and his sister, Anais. He has a major crush on Penny. She has a crush on him too, but both have trouble expressing their feelings to each other. In "The Shell" they finally express their feelings for each other. At times, he causes trouble, but then later learns from his mistakes. His mortal enemy is Rob (currently under the alias of Dr. Wrecker).
Cloud Strife[]
Cloud Strife is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and also supporting charcter of Final Fantasy VII: Dirge Of Cerberus and then he returned again as a deuteragonist in the prequel Crisis Core. He starts out as a mercenary, but as the game goes on wants to save the world from Shinra and his mortal enemy Sephiroth. Cloud also appeared in many Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games. He is an expert swordsman.
In Final Fantasy VII, due to the combined effects of Mako poisoning and the influence of Jenova's cells in his body, Cloud unknowingly holds a fake persona created by the Jenova cells mixing his memories of Zack's personality with the cocky and selfish attitude he believes a SOLDIER 1st Class would have. After restoring his true personality, Cloud shows genuine concern for the Planet's fate, a sharp contrast to his persona at the start where he claimed he did not care and only agreed to help AVALANCHE for the right price. The true Cloud is open-minded and cares about the bond he forged with his friends.
In Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and many related appearances, Cloud is a somber character, tormented by guilt over what he perceives as his past failings to save those he cares about. The final straw was contracting the terminal Geostigma plague, adding to his feelings of helplessness. Distancing from his friends and living alone, Cloud tries to keep his affliction secret. Cloud faces his past both metaphorically and literally, and with the shows of loyalty from the friends he tried to let go he comes to forgive himself and moves on. It is unclear what this ultimately means in terms of his personality and lifestyle.
Mike and Mal[]
Mike is a contestant and the tritagonist in Season Four of Total Drama who has Dissociative Identity Disorder, where he can turn into a set of different personalities without him realizing. He was eliminated in sixth place when Scott (A fellow contestant) forced Mike into doing what he wanted because he would tell Zoey about his Multiple Personality Disorder (who did not know at the time). Eventually, Scott knocked him out with a shovel and Mike fought his personalities for control.
While unconscious, Zoey tells Mike that she was breaking up with him because of a personality, Vito, who was hitting on other girls, until she saw that Mike was knocked out. When he woke up, he confessed to Zoey, but she already knew because Cameron, another contestant, accidentally told Zoey while he was unconscious and a faint "Sorry!" is heard in the background. Scott won the challenge and got to choose who went home. Obviously, he chose Mike.
To leave, the contestants were catapulted into the water, so when Mike was sitting in it, he gave Zoey a pendant of him and was about to kiss her when he was fired into the ocean. Mike returned as a contestant for Total Drama All-Stars (the first half of Season Five) as the main protagonist of the half-season, however since his small shadow figure with an evil look appeared after Mike defeated his other four personalities. This personality (Mal) appears in Season Five and becomes the new villain.
Saya Kisaragi[]
Saya Kisaragi is the main protagonist of the Anime, Blood-C. She is initially portrayed as a kind, clumsy and helpful person, acting very cheerful and singing songs in the morning. It is revealed at the end of the series that her true self is much more serious and not at all like how she was shown at first. Fumito Nanahara states that she does not care for humans, and wishes to be able to drink their blood, but is unable to due to a contract made with an unknown person.
Saya Kisaragi is the daughter of the priest at the local shrine, whose duty it is to slay the Elder Bairns, creatures who drink the blood of humans. It is what her mother did before she died, and now Saya is the only one who can slay them. By day she seems to live a normal life of a high school girl, though Saya does seem to be rather clumsy, and completely oblivious to many remarks that are made around her, especially concerning boys that seem to like her. Since neither she nor her father are capable cooks, she eats breakfast every morning at Guimauve, the cafe next to the shrine.
After the series her personality somehow changed. She was now portrayed as a cold and serious person, often causing troubles to the city.
Meliodas[]
Meliodas (メリオダス Meriodasu) is the captain and the Dragon's Sin of Wrath of the Seven Deadly Sins and is the main male protagonist of the manga/anime series The Seven Deadly Sins. He is voiced by Yuki Kaji in the original Japanese version and Bryce Papenbrook in the English version of the anime series, both of them are notable for the voice of Eren Yaeger.
Meliodas's dominant traits are his frankness and his utter fearlessness, shown when he remains composed seeing the Rust Knight who was later revealed to be Elizabeth Liones. Due to his horrible cooking, when his customers vomit onto the Boar Hat's floor, he instructs Hawk to clean up the scraps, and scares him by saying phrases such as "roast pig" if he complains, hinting he may roast the talking pig. He is also shown to be very bawdy and loves to frequently tell jokes. Occasionally, he takes advantage of Elizabeth's naivety and gropes her breasts, not even ashamed of doing so in public or in front of her father. He also has a strong sense of justice and is willing to help people in distress. Even when he is severely injured, he tries not to show weakness, and stays strong in front of his companions. He holds resentment upon himself for being a failure as an older brother, and he also clashed swords with his own brother Zeldris in the past.
Despite his title as the Sin of Wrath, he appears to be a very calm person. However, if his companions or friends are harmed in any way, he is greatly angered. He is also shown to fall into a state of extreme rage when someone tries to take his sword, with this rage being capable of scaring even a Holy Knight and leaving a permanent scar on Ban's neck, despite his regeneration abilities. It has been hinted that Meliodas is guilt-ridden over the fate of Danafor, saying that his sin was being unable to save the kingdom. Ban and Cain point out that Meliodas tends to be soft and naive, due to him never killing anyone, even someone like Guila, who was a serious threat to the group. Meliodas dislikes killing, preferring to be merciful. Elizabeth points out that Meliodas is not naive or a simpleton, but just really kind.
Saitama[]
Saitama, (a.k.a. Caped Baldy), is the main protagonist of One Punch-Man, and the most powerful hero ever alive in existence. Having apparently trained himself to go beyond superhuman condition, Saitama faces an existential crisis as he is now too powerful to gain any thrill from his heroics. He is registered with the Heroes Association as a B-Class Superhero (A-Class in the webcomic) and is tasked to defend Z-City against Mysterious Beings.
Saitama is described to be quite indifferent. Even the mightiest foes pose no challenge to him, so he doesn't take his hero work very seriously and defeats monsters as if as he is swatting insects. Since his superhero work has begun to bore him, he is constantly searching for an opponent that can actually provide him with a challenge. The lack of any such opponents has led him to suffer from a self-imposed existential crisis, and he claims that his ability to feel any and all emotions has dulled considerably. He stated that he just became a hero because it was his dream and for self-satisfaction and that before becoming one, he used to suffer from anxiety issues. Despite his boredom, Saitama goes out of his way to stop crime.
The combination of his attitude, unstoppable strength, and distinctively simple and "unimpressive" appearance frequently cause his battles to become anticlimactic. Saitama will usually allow his opponents to rant/gloat about their motives and power up into their strongest forms before obliterating them with a single punch. However, if they begin to ramble on too much then he will either interrupt them or just punch them.
He is voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese version.
Ben Tennyson[]
Benjamin Kirby "Ben" Tennyson is the protagonist of the Cartoon Network series, Ben 10. He was a normal ten-year-old kid until he found the Omnitrix, a powerful watch-like device that allowed him to turn into ten different aliens. Though initially immature and clumsy, he grew to be a true hero. By the time he was sixteen, he had become famous in not only his hometown of Bellwood, but on Earth and beyond. Ben has also been deputized by the Plumbers and gained more aliens as time progressed.
Ben is initially portrayed as a cocky, arrogant, and immature boy who tends to make jokes, even when fighting enemies. He easily gets full of himself and enjoys attention from others. This attitude can sometimes make him look obnoxious or dumb, often resulting in criticisms from Gwen later Kevin and a few others. It also causes several conflicts between him and Azmuth.
These traits, however, as hinted in The Forge of Creation, stem from Ben's attempts to hide his own fear about the situation (though he denied it and said he was actually oblivious). Even so, he's matured since the first series and although he can be goofy, he's also capable of great leadership skills and tends to get serious when the situation requires it.
Po[]
Master Po Ping (born Lotus Shan) is the main protagonist of the Kung Fu Panda franchise. He is one of Master Shifu's students, Mr. Ping's adoptive son, Li Shan's biological son, and the Dragon Warrior. He was voiced by Jack Black who played Dewey Finn from School Of Rock, R.L. Stine from the Goosebumps movie, Ignacio/Nacho from Nacho Libre, and voiced Lenny from Shark Tale and Zeke from Ice Age.
Po was born in a remote farming village populated entirely by pandas. There he grew up happily with his biological mother and father Li, until one day the village was invaded by an evil, power-hungry peacock named Shen, who sought to avert a prophecy by eliminating any threat to his rule.
As his wolf followers slaughtered the pandas and destroyed the village, Po's mother fled with her son, while his father stayed behind to try and fight them off. As the wolves quickly started to close in on her, Po's mother managed to temporarily elude the wolves and found a crate of radishes, which she hid her child in. Mother and son shared one final moment of farewell before his mother caught the attention of the wolves and lead them away from him, sacrificing her life for her son.
The crate Po was in was eventually shipped far away to a village in the Valley of Peace, where the owner of a noodle shop, Mr. Ping, found the baby panda. Though hesitant to get involved at first, the goose felt pity for the infant and brought him inside where he fed him and gave him a bath, and as he continued to care for him, he grew to love the cub. Eventually realizing that no one was looking for the child, Mr. Ping decided to adopt him, giving him the name "Po" and raising him as his own son.
Kitana[]
Kitana (also known as Princess Kitana or Lady Kitana) is a character and a secondary heroine in the Mortal Kombat series. She is the princess of Edenia and the biological daughter of King Jerrod and Queen Sindel, as well as an adopted daughter of the evil Emperor Shao Kahn. In the series' original storyline, Kitana serves Shao Kahn as an elite assassin before becoming one of the leaders of the good characters. She also has a role of suggested romantic interest for the series' primary hero Liu Kang and has an evil twin and nemesis named Mileena, as well as a longtime intimate friend Jade.
At first Kitana was stubborn, naive, and filled with anger when under Shao Kahn's influence. However, after breaking free from him and being with other people that are kind and caring, she learned to calm down and actually be more open-minded to others. During certain situations Kitana doesn't hesitate to help people she's close to showing more respect and kindness for them. Although at times, Kitana would sometimes question her strength and lose her usual confidence when losing to someone. She also like's the people of Earthrealm a lot and are just as important to her as Edenia is and will do anything she can to protect the people she cares about.
As of MKX, after being killed by Sindel and turned into a revenant, she no longer sees herself a victim anymore and is ready to rule the Netherrealm alongside with Liu Kang and seek revenge against her former ally, Raiden.
Ruby Rose[]
Ruby Rose is the main protagonist of the American cartoon webseries RWBY and its Japanese manga prequel/adaptation. She is a sixteen-year-old girl who is training to become a Huntress and defender of the world of Remnant.
Ever since she was little, Ruby has had a romanticised view of the Huntsman profession. She is quick to reveal she wanted to become a huntress in order to be like the great heroes in fairy tales, and she has described being one as far more "romantic" than being a police officer. She has also shown a distinct lack of ability picking up social cues due to being a very open and honest person. This results in her being unable to pick up Weiss' sarcasm in the "The Shining Beacon", and struggling to act formally in "It's Brawl in the Family".
Although Ruby has no trouble interacting with friends, she does have trouble actually making them, and once admits that seeing new weapons "is like meeting new people, but better". This could have been a result of her having been accepted two years earlier to Beacon Academy, which forces her to leave her friends at Signal behind, as well as interact with people that are both older and more experienced than she is. Regardless, both she and Jaune Arc toast to being socially awkward during the Beacon Dance.
She is voiced by Lindsay Jones in English and Saori Hayami in the Japanese dub.
Tatsumi[]
atsumi is the main protagonist of the manga series, Akame Ga Kill!, and the protagonist of the anime. He is a young fighter who had set out along with two childhood friends to make a name for himself and earn money for his village. After learning of the corruption and evil of The Empire and witnessing the deaths of his friends, Tatsumi was invited to join Night Raid, a group of assassins that are affiliated with the Revolutionary Army currently at war with the Empire.
He eventually accepts the invitation and slowly begins to accept his new life and trade, while still grieving over the loss of his friends and beginning to learn about his new ones. He is the current owner of the Teigu Incursio. Tatsumi ends up surviving the war in the manga, although he dies a hero in the anime.
He is voiced by Soma Saito in the Japanese version of the anime and Corey Hartzog in the English version.
Ragna the Bloodedge[]
Ragna the Bloodedge was the main protagonist of BlazBlue (from Calamity Trigger until Central Fiction) and the older brother of Jin Kisaragi and Saya. He was a wanted criminal with an extraordinarily large bounty on his head (well in the trillions) for attempting to destroy the Novus Orbis Librarium.
Ragna is sardonic, rude, and abrasive to anyone he comes across. He is also quick to anger, stubborn, and never misses a chance to use as much vulgar language as possible; in fact, he is depicted as one of three characters to use the most amounts of profanity, alongside Kokonoe and Yuuki Terumi. In this regard, Ragna is similar to the stereotypical anime delinquent. This is caused mainly by Terumi destroying Ragna's life, which has created a mass of hatred in him; stronger than that of any other individual. Ragna often becomes infuriated at first sight of Terumi, which he often takes advantage of through taunting him. However, even in cases where he can't win or is on the brink of death, Ragna possesses an undying will and refuses to give up, something many characters hate or admire.
Beneath his gruff exterior, however, Ragna does possess a softer, much more compassionate side. He chooses to keep up his public front because of the path he chose - that of revenge. He does genuinely care for certain people, such as Taokaka, Noel and Jubei. He spared Arakune's life due to Litchi's pleas, and in his Arcade Mode, he directly references his promise to Litchi to let him live after he defeats him. Also, despite Jin's role in the destruction of his life, still cares for him as a brother. He also expressed anguish when Nu sacrificed her life to protect him, despite the past animosity he harbored for her.
Later on after the events of Chronophantasma, Ragna goes through more personal development which changes his opinions about the reasons he fights, which makes him stop relying on the Azure Grimoire and try to fight with his own strength. Due to this, he stops fighting to destroy and for revenge, where he instead decides to fight in order to protect and not lose anymore of his loved ones.
In the anime, Ragna is more rebellious than he is in the games.
Guts[]
Guts, renowned by his epithet the "Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded wanderer who peregrinates the world in constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and protecting those precious to him.
At one time driven solely by his will to survive, Guts finds purpose in life upon joining the Band of the Falcon, aiding greatly in the faction's storied successes during the Hundred Year War as the Falcons' Raiders Captain. He eventually becomes dissatisfied with clinging on to Griffith's dream, and defects from the Falcons in pursuit of his own dream. Following the horrors of the Eclipse prompted by Griffith, however, he becomes preoccupied with exacting revenge on the White Falcon and embittered on his one-track quest for retribution. He in time realizes protecting his regressed lover is more important to him, as well as something he cannot do alone, and thus seemingly abandons his quest for revenge while fostering camaraderie with new companions.
Known for his air of austerity, Guts is a gruff, cynical man holding an overall bleak outlook on life. This is a consequence of having endured waves of suffering and numerous betrayals since his youth, with nearly all highlights of his life having, in time, become lows. In spite of his guarded, brooding exterior, he has always been soft-hearted and, ultimately, a kind and caring individual. Even as his inner darkness festers deep within him and its temptation becomes increasingly harder to resist, he retains his empathy and compassion, refusing to completely discard his humanity.
Alucard[]
Alucard is one of the main protagonists in the Hellsing series created by Kouta Hirano. He is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organization which works against vampires and other such supernatural forces. Alucard is no mere vampire; it has been implied that he is the most powerful vampire alive and may be the most powerful character in the series, rivaled only by The Captain and Alexander Anderson. In the English dub of both series, he is voiced by Crispin Freeman.
Alucard fights with ferocity, and often, extreme cruelty, rarely shooting to kill until his target has been completely disabled and humiliated. However, he does seem to have some small shred of humanity left in him, as he is still capable of shedding tears, taken by Alexander Anderson to mean that he is not completely lost. As he is essentially immortal and invulnerable, Alucard is very egotistical. He freely taunts and belittles his opponents, often allowing them to inflict seemingly fatal wounds before healing himself and counterattacking.
One of his favorite methods of fighting is to allow himself to be blown to shreds before simply flowing back together. An example is shown in volume 2 when Alucard fights Luke Valentine. When Luke gains an advantage over Alucard, victory seems within his grasp. The tides turn when Alucard transforms a part of himself into a hellhound. Alucard then shoots off a part of Luke's leg before telling him to regenerate them, pick up his gun, and fight back. When Luke fails to do so, Alucard devours Luke, declaring him as little more than dog food.
However, even with his incredible powers, it is possible to take Alucard by surprise, usually because of his arrogance. In his first meeting with Alexander Anderson, he assumed he had easily killed Anderson with a single bullet but was caught off guard when Anderson regenerated. Alucard also expressed deep disappointment that Luke was not a more worthy adversary. In the anime, he seemed concerned with finding a worthy opponent. In the manga, however, Alucard states that he wishes to find an opponent, a human opponent, with sufficient willpower to destroy him despite his strength.
Akira Fudo[]
Akira Fudo is the human who becomes the eponymous Devilman. Originally passive and weak-willed, per the machinations of his friend Ryo Asuka, he is possessed by the demon hero Amon, gaining the demon's powers and memories while maintaining his human consciousness due to his pure heart. Now a creature with the body of a demon but the mind of a human, Akira swears to protect his former people against the hordes of demons that seek to destroy humanity.
Akira was born as the only son to his parents. Due to his sensitive nature, as a child he was nicknamed the "Fire Alarm of Higashi Elementary" for how much he cried. When his parents leave Japan to work abroad, Akira had to transfer to a new school and is sent to live with his father's friend Kozo Makimura. Akira quickly becomes friends with Kozo's daughter Miki and develops romantic feelings for her. At some point previously, Akira had met Ryo Asuka and became best friends with him before Ryo moved away (this was later revealed to be a fake memory implanted by Psycho Jenny).
Before his initial transformation, Akira was kind and sweet, but cowardly and highly emotional at the same time. Much of the time, he used to cry in most of these situations. Shying out of any conflict or problems had caused those around him to think him as weak. After becoming Devilman however, Akira became much more brave and headstrong, as well as perverse. Because of his originally weak will, his fusion with Amon however caused him to become far more brooding and violent. He was best friends with Ryo Asuka and had been since childhood (although this is later shown only to be implanted memories), he was deeply protective of Ryo. Unknown to him for a long while, Ryo was in love with Akira. However Akira didn't return the feelings of love and instead cared for Miki Makimura who both shared romantic feelings for one another, much to Ryo's frustration.
Claire Stanfield[]
Felix Walken (フェリックス・ウォーケン Ferikkusu Wōken), formerly known as Rail Tracer (レールトレーサー Rērutorēsā), introduced as Young Conductor and born Claire Stanfield (クレア・スタンフィールド Kurea Sutanfīrudo) is the legendary freelance assassin Vino (ヴィーノ Vīno), and considered to be one of the best in the profession.
He will be referred to as Claire throughout the article, since that is how he is most commonly known. Claire is a presumably handsome man with blood-red hair and a lean build. Aboard the Flying Pussyfoot, he wore a custom-white conductor's uniform which was soon coated in the blood of those he killed aboard the train.
Claire is a solipsist. He believes that the world is a dream of his own creation, and all the people are figments of his own imagination. He cannot picture the world without him in it, and so in his mind he "can never be killed." If he does die, he'll simply 'wake up' from his dream. His solipsism has led him to eschew the idea of immortality, as "it can do nothing for him". He considers himself the centre of the world and takes pride in this. Claire immensely dislikes it when people attribute his skill to God or natural talent. He emphasizes that he worked extremely hard to improve himself, and he wishes people would acknowledge the effort he put in rather than dismissively calling him a prodigy. As The President of the Daily Days puts it, Claire operates outside the law through his own warped sense of justice. Claire is considerate of those he deems innocent, going out of his way to ensure the safety of people who are not his targets and/or pose no danger. Claire takes pride in his work, and takes his responsibilities seriously. As a train conductor, his job is to protect the passengers and he does so with zeal, adopting the Rail Tracer persona in order to protect them. It can be argued that he can take his responsibilities too seriously (to the point of lucridity) -- for instance, when he encounters a stowaway on board the train he briefly considers dealing with her despite the fact that he is in the middle of a bloodbath.
