Aruto Hiden (飛電或人 Hiden Aruto) is the main protagonist of Kamen Rider Zero-One. He is a 22-year-old former comedian, current CEO of Hiden Intelligence, and former CEO of HIDEN Manufacturing who fights as Kamen Rider Zero-One (仮面ライダーゼロワン Kamen Raidā Zerowan) alongside his Humagear companion Izu to pursue his dreams of making others smile. Whilst battling against the malicious Ark, his goal of uniting humanity and Humagears allows him to fight as a new Rider as Kamen Rider Zero-Two (仮面ライダーゼロツー Kamen Raidā Zerotsū). However, he would eventually lose his faith and be consumed by the desire for revenge, becoming Kamen Rider Ark-One (仮面ライダーアークワン Kamen Raidā Ākuwan).

Aruto was first mentioned by Futaba Ichinose that he is the presidential CEO of Hiden Intelligence. He and Izu were idealistically responsible for creating mechas, including the skeletal Zoid-Frames.
