The Flashpoint version of Eobard Thawne is a recurring antagonist and supporting character of the Arrowverse, serving as a minor antagonist in The Flash and a major antagonist of DC's Legends of Tomorrow before his redemption.
He is a time-remnant of the original Eobard Thawne who originated from the Flashpoint paradox. However, unlike his original variant, the time-remnant of Eobard actually changes his ways after making alliances with supervillains like Damien Darhk and merely commits bad actions in the name of the greater good.

Chapter 8[]
He like Dakota and Cavendish is involved with the Time Varaince Authority. He is introduced to Bender who tries to maul him but is held back. Thawne has no idea what Bender is referring to neither to Slade either. Marcy convinces them to trust and work with him in regards to Dark Arrow and to get them open
Despite recultance they agree and do work together respectfully with some teeth clenched team work and both Slade and Bender thinkinng he killed Ciel. He is proven innocent though by others and helps deal with Dark Arrow. Though he is killed by the original Eobard ripping the face of Flashpoint's Eobard from the inside out. This he does to protect Bender and his friends from the original Thawne
He was however resurrected by the Time Wraths to live a happy life as Bender, Anti Cosmo, Slade, Cavendish and Dakota witnessed respectively after Death took The Original Thawne away
The Bad Guys and The Boys[]
Thawne arrives in the past with Dakota and Cavendish to investigate the disturbance which is Kang and they join forces with Hobie, Luna and Sam to investigate the situation They head off to the Quantlum Realm when he resides and Thawne sends a signal to it which ends up sucking them into the Realm separting him, Sam, Luna and Hobie from the two
Helping Spider Punk and the girls, he goes through the forces of Kang and manages to be a disruption to them, even killing plenty of Kang's soliders, while helping Hobie try to mentor Luna in the work. They regroup with Cavendish and Dakota as well as meeting The Boys who he states he knew from the future and heading back from the Realm with Kang on their tail and when he meets Deathstroke, he needs to explain himself
He then helps out in dealing with Kang's forces and through his speedsters abilities he allows The Bad Guys and The Boys to deal with Kang.When he, Dakota and Cavendish leave, he is found by Jules and Verne Brown who have been looking from their father who went missing.

Chapter 5[]
Thawne arrives with the other time agents to greet the The Streaming Resistance brought by Grace Wain
Lincoln and Lydia both prepare to attack Thawne on part of hearing him, Thawne stops them and points how he is not their Thawne as the timeline split him into 2 Thawnes. When Lydia used the Spear of Destiny with Deathstroke and Bender. His other self resurfaced and tried to kill Bender, Anti Cosmo, Slade and the whole multiverse with a plan of his own out of revenge, hate and spite
He admits that it's far fetched when the two don't buy it. Thawne proves he can be trusted when he refers to Mulder, Scully, Bruce Wayne and Larke Tanner and how he helped deal with Kang who was once the head of The Time Bureau. All the while explaining the actions caused by people who alter time as of the Spear of The Destiny cause rifts in the timeline with Lincoln, Lydia, Bender, Anti Cosmo, Deathstroke, Luan Loud, Bean, Wile E, Captain Hero, Cleo Subprime all having done so. Thawne decided to help Deathstroke and Bender as their actual boss decided they weren't doing anything wrong
He came to help Lydia deal with her time traveling foe who he knows is blue and has a clock themed look which Wednesday confirms. Once Melvin Borg and N.Tropy's robot armies arrive to go after them, Thawne works with the other time agents to keep them at bay and keep The Streaming Resistance from defeated.
Thawne manages to take out the rest of the robot agents with the others and he eavesdropped on what has happened. This when he realizes that Kang's previous ally is trying to basically destroy the multiverse or to at least something increidbly dangerous to it. Thawne and the rest of the time agents basically decide they need to find where N.Tropy is hiding in his hide out.
