Entei (エンテイ Entei?, /ˈɛnteɪ/) is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Entei first appeared in the video games Pokémon Gold and Silver and subsequent sequels, later appearing in various merchandise, spinoff titles, animated adaptations, and printed adaptations of the franchise.
Entei embodies the passion of magma. This Pokémon is thought to have been born in the eruption of a volcano. He sends up massive bursts of fire that utterly consume all that they touch.
