Duck back in the TTTE universe
Duck is a Great Western Railway 57xx pannier tank engine. His real name is Monatgue, but he is called "Duck" since he sometimes "waddles" (shakes around) a little while on the rails. He often pulls freight cars on his branchline, or is seen working with Oliver, one of his closest friends. He also pulls slip coaches across Sodor during high summer.

- He once nearly had a collision with Doc Hudson at a railroad crossing.
- He is also a recent friend of Jaden Yuki.
- Thus, he sometimes chooses to take the line that passes by the Duel Academy, so he can whistle hello to him during lunch break.
LOTM: The Angels Return[]
Duck was among the members of the Steam Team who greeted and welcomed the Disney Angels and company to Sodor. He aided them in transportation to Vicarstown and the dieselworks, and even aided them in battle.
When Thomas decided he should accompany the Angels, Duck offered to help Percy take care of Thomas' coaches and branchline.
