Dreadwing
"No one is perfect, Starscream, but like his departed twin, Dreadwing understands honor." - Megatron, "Patch"
Dreadwing, a split-Spark twin of Skyquake, was the captain of an army of Seekers, and is an expert in explosives. Like Skyquake, Dreadwing is intensely loyal to Megatron, though his loyalty to his twin may be stronger. However, unlike his brother, Dreadwing is better at keeping his temper in check, most of the time.
In addition to his calculating tactics, cool-minded leadership, and fierce loyalty, Dreadwing has outwardly shown a sense of integrity not normally characterized by the Decepticon agenda. During situations of dwindling odds, Dreadwing considers all possibilities within battle, and is wary of the potential consequences of hasty decisions. He will even fight alongside the Autobots if surviving the situation calls for it. In order to secure a favorable outcome or the welfare of his sovereign lord, the dreaded seeker will save face, or indeed the sparks of a few Autobots, if it means a clean victory and living to battle another day...
Dreadwing is voiced by Tony Todd, who is probably best remembered for starring in the Candyman films as the title character.
Legends of the Multi-Universe[]
As the Disney Angels' allies and the Autobots were on their way to the realm of the Condemned, they were stopped at the Rust Sea by Dreadwing. He was willing to make a deal: if the Autobots and their allies surrendered to him, he would see to it that Galvatron spared them all.
Dib asked as to why Dreadwing wanted Starscream. Dreadwing said that it was because of Starscream's betrayal to the Decepticons, but it seemed to Mickey that Dreadwing instead had a personal reason for wanting to kill Starscream. It was then that Dreadwing revealed how Starscream had had Skyquake killed and then disgraced his honor by raising him from the dead with Dark Energon.
Dreadwing then told Optimus that he couldn't believe Optimus had allowed Starscream to be an Autobot and asked if the Autobots had truly forgiven Starscream. Arcee claimed that she had not because of his causing the death of Cliffjumper, but she was still willing to work with him.
Because Team Optimus Prime would not surrender, Dreadwing proceeded to try and destroy them with aid from Aku, Freddy Krueger, Sauron, the Witch-King Ringwraith and a bunch of Vehicons. They almost succeeded in destroying Team Optimus Prime, but they were foiled when Sonic, Shadow and Silver came to the rescue and all the Sailor Soldiers used their Eternal powers.
At another time in the Decepticon castle dungeon, Dreadwing overheard Myotismon and Angewomon talking and crying. It was then that he wondered if he was really on the right side, which was something he had wondered at other times, too.
Later in the Decepticon castle torture chamber after a battle, Dreadwing showed up again. But this time, he did not want to fight, and instead gave Team Optimus Prime the Namekian Dragonballs and told them where to find Galvatron and the Angels. He could not find it in himself to join them, but left them with one request: to do whatever needed to be done.
