Samuel J. Loomis is a child psychologist and the main protagonist of Halloween.
He was assigned to the case of a 6 year-old child, Michael Myers, who had murdered his sister on the night of Halloween '78. He had tried to help him for years, spending hours a day asking questions to the boy..but he never got any response at all. He would study the young Myers, who seemed to stare off into his own imagination. Finally, after seven years, he came to the conclusion that this boy was no longer human, but pure evil. For the next eight years, he pleaded to the hospital administration and even the federal government that Micheal must be locked away for life.

After hear that Michael Myers is back, Sam Loomis join forces with Blue and Bender to finish his reign of terror in the multiverse as well as protect Norman and others from him. Loomis joins with The Alpha Team and Striker Force as he is after Myers who is aligned with Sinister and Loomis certainly knows he is in the area. Loomis calls Kratos stating he can't kill Myers, which He ignores and decides to handle the situation as the curse of Myers is what Kratos is trying to make sure it's gone before going with the rest of the team. Loomis gets news on Kratos' progress and hopes they could catch him. Loomis sees to his disbelief after the flight that there is a a total obstacle course which Xigbar tells him is very real.
