How They first Meet

The Two of them meet in this storyline when Lydia got lost from the others in part to Thawne, Deathstroke and the others's actions and she went to a house by random for help and it turned out to be The Loud House where Lydia as well as Cleo teamed up with The Loud Family to get together with the others. They also went up against Toffee and his cult as well

They became friends and after this storyline best friends. Streamverse reveals that she was "destiny knocking" to Lincoln after Lucy did his fortune respectfully

Getting into themselves curious for a bit of travel and inspiration, The kids team up to go down south where they end up getting involved in an organized crime situation with other heroes and join up with them to deal with organized crime. But they also ally up with Pyrra Nikos and Toby Domalziki to go up against the solo survivor of a group of outlaws. The name of their shipping was referred at the end of Act 2 as Lincoln dubbed the two this against the world when they discuss Team Free Will and the events that occured.

Best Friends?, Or more than Friends?

They returned to join Team Free Will once again under Castiel and Ford to fight the return of Toffee and Bill Cipher who have returned. At this point they became best friends and constantly worked together to the point where their friends admitted Lincoln was always first to her and vice versa. By the end of the first half of the storyline it began obvious that both of them had more than friends feeling for one another. Despite this they dodged this by just working together and hanging out, playing a crucial part in beating Bill Cipher and Toffee. Two other points came up as Lydia was moving to Royal Woods as his neighbor and that she actually didn't get into a relationship with Marcus despite their closeness previously. Lydia did show some jealously towards Cleo's Sister when she began to like Lincoln, though it ended up being a bit of a one time thing as she already had some problems with her.

To Live/And Or Die in Loch Loud

Team Free Will's Trip to Loch Loud

This Storyline sees them progress into the confidants they are with Lincoln being able to trust her unconditonally and helping her get around Royal Woods. In turn Lydia helps Lincoln with his own issues, the two are eventually are joined by their team in dealing with Morag who wants revenge on them. The two go to recover the Infinity Stones and save what the Louds stand for in Scotland/Loch Loud. Things take a turn for the tragic when Lincoln loses a family member to Morag and he lashes out at everyone. Lydia was the exception as she never took advantage or hurt Lincoln and she pulls Lincoln out of his funk by explaining Death to him and trauma to him and stopping him from acting nuts. This event would be the connecting event for the two to realize their true feelings

During this time Lydia becomes aware Lincoln is in contact with a new friend and helps him with this. During the events of this storyline and the next one. Lincoln continued to show trauma and scars which Lydia led to help him and she showed him something to consider doing and once Lincoln did it, he felt better and more like himself and almost confessed to her. The Two however realized something was going on a brain tumor over this which Lydia led with Ford, Clyde and Ronnie Anne as well as Lincoln's family to save. After everything Lincoln decided to spent Time with Trolberg which Lydia advised, Lincoln did this to relax and calm down from almost blowing it with Lydia, and Lydia did so that Lincoln could clear his mind and not take advantage of his state of health.

Team Free Will: Disassembled

Dealing with M.A.L.I.C.E/ Blossoming Feelings and an Unknown Rival

Lincoln came back from Trolberg confused about his situation with Hilda and Lydia but just happy to see the latter. Lydia took some time herself to sort her feelings out for him, and she came to realize she was truly in love with him and learned she was demisexual only wanting Lincoln and no one else as she never felt this way for another person. However things got complicated as they went to have to deal with M.A.L.I.C.E as well as Cleo and Omni Man who is a former friend in the former and her criquer on the latter. Lincoln and Lydia began to deal with the blossoming feelings they had for one another and wanted to confess them to get it off their backs. However dealing with M.A.L.I.C.E wasn't their own problem, Hilda joined up with them and developed suspicions of how close Lydia was to Lincoln in part to Hilda having a crush on Lincoln too and rightfully suspecting Lydia shared her interest in Lincoln. As Hilda developing reservations about Lincoln's friendship with Lydia going beyond best friendships. Ironically Lydia was unaware of HIlda's crush on Lincoln and Lincoln was stick stuck between them despite his blossoming romance with Lydia.

With The Smoking Man having exposed Team Free Will, the heroes were all forced to go into exile, The two were placed together and after their own losses worked to help each other with Lydia needing more help than Lincoln with her parents being loss. Lyida unconsciously kisses Lincoln which causes a freakout on both of their parts due their friendship, Lincoln however reassures her it was a heat of the moment reaction to how he helped her with her issues, like she did for him.

Exile and Getting Together offically

Being Exile from the others was hard on both of them, in part to Lincoln being away from his family and feeling what he did was the cause of this happening and Lydia feeling her well intentioned ideas led to her friends and family being punished due to her actions. The two managed to cheer themselves up through their time with Truman, Mulder and Scully making visits. They get involved in The CSM's actions and work with Dr. Brenner, Dr.Owens, Cassie Kang, Kelly, Doc and his kids, May, Dawn.

Before heading to Sinnoh, they decide to go see Lincoln's forlorn parents and Lydia's commited parents. During that time, they go to Trolberg so Lincoln can drop a letter to Hilda before leaving with Lydia. At Christmas, They confess they are in love with each other to the shock that their feelings are mutual. Lydia thought Lincoln liked Hilda hence why she hesistated, Lincoln does but he realized he really wants to be with Lydia and their time together made him realize this. When asked what to do now, Lincoln decided to kiss Lydia confirming he wants to get together with her, something she agrees to

They decide to keep their romantic relationship secret from the others and decide to work on some plans to live together considering their situation. That being said, Lincoln is being brought to his house and Lydia is being adopted by Mulder and Scully so they can still live within proximity. The two decide to let only those who didn't tease them about their relationship know.

Chang's Guide To The Galaxy

Their Secret Romance/ Lydia VS Hilda

Both of them begin to pursuit their "best friends in public/ Romantic Relationship in private" mindset. Truman X and Larke Tanner both are aware of their relationship as well, One Day after school they decide on a happy evening together. When Lincoln has to see Hilda which Lydia advised him to do, as Lydia and Lincoln both agreed Hilda needs to be aware of what went down with them. Lincoln tries to tell Hilda who has her own news for him

Lydia discovers Demogorgon attack and she goes after knowing Lincoln is around there. She arrives and helps him and Hilda deal with the demogrogon. Hilda isn't pleased that Lydia upstaged her and makes it evident to Lydia, she loves Lincoln as well and won't let Lydia get in her way of it. Lydia lacks surprise at Hilda's feelings for him due to what she knows but is baffled at Hilda's hostility to her over this.

Lydia, HIlda and Lincoln continue undergoing complications with Hilda's jealously of Lydia, Lincoln's constant attempts to let Hilda down and Lydia's own struggle to understand why Hilda is going on her so harshly. Despite this, Lydia and Lincoln both decide to help save Hilda when Vecna comes to target Hilda due to what Brenner told them

It all reaches an head when Hilda reveals to Lincoln about her plans to get him out of the Royal Woods?/Loud House Family over events like No Such Luck feeling he needs a family that will treat him right and she is doing out of love. Lydia learns Hilda's plan from Lincoln when he goes to her about this, Lydia immediately realizes Hilda knows about No Such Luck like she knows and why she wants to do this, where she decides she needs to explain to Hilda herself about what's going on. Hilda finds out herself and is upset as well as down trodden about Lincoln and Lydia having a moment. Lydia gets a note book to her head by Hilda who angrily calls Lydia out on sabotaging her plans and getting between her and Lincoln. Hilda then lays down insults about her teeth which begins angering Lydia as Hilda is giving her all this grief over Lincoln as well as being called " A Bad Influence" on him. Both of them fight physically involving Ford, Lincoln and Johanna.

When Lincoln discusses Lydia's side with her, Lydia apologizes about the lash out and points out how Hilda acted against her. despite Lydia helping Lincoln with Vecna. She and Lincoln both recieve a lashing from Hilda when Lincoln tells her that he and Lydia are dating. Vecna tries to claim Hilda now, and Lincoln with Lydia and Jaune Arc try to save her which results in her being alive and Jaune in a coma. When Lincoln watches Hilda wish a coma on Lydia and blame her for Jaune's condiiton, Lincoln scolds Hilda for treating Lydia so badly and get the silent treatment from Hilda.

After a bit, the two continue try to doing what they can do until Lydia has to deal with Hilda trying to kill her under Dupree's control. Lydia with Frida stop HIlda from doing this and Lydia has Hilda where she wants the blue haired girl to be. Lydia explains to Hilda about her and Lincoln's relationship and that Lincoln really was trying to find a way to let her down easy, Hilda questions why Lincoln got with Lydia over Hilda herself. Eventually Hilda does go back on speaking terms and joins up with the two to defeat Vecna

Afterwards, Lydia and Lincoln Lincoln discuss their future where Lincoln is thinking of they will get married and how they'll do it. Where she reminds him of their age, Lincoln states he can still dream which she agrees.

Struggling to be more open to others/ Reflecting on Their Chaotic Lives

Afterwards, both of them go under pressue from the school as the Sadie Hawkins Dance is coming up and Lincoln is getting asked left and right while as Lydia is taking pressure from girls for not being enough of one and her quirkniess. It also becomes more apparent that both of them desire a sense of normalness to balance out their chaotic lives in Team Free Will. One way they do so as Lydia takes Lincoln up to Orlando for Spring Break running into the latter's grandparents.

Upon Return, they are invited to the wedding of Jaune and Johana and deal with Anders coming back who Lydia distrusts. The Two also have their own problems with Lincoln's distance from his family and Lydia feeling like she has to take care of herself. The two consider even finding somewhere to live together like they did before but back off and give it to Will Robinson, Wednesday and Penny Robinson.

That being said, they do find their own way as they meet The Streaming Resistance who they can be open with together and do so. While both of them are initially unwilling to go to the Dance, they decide to do so seeing it as a way to live a normal life despite Lydia's indifferent for most femmine things. Lydia manages to get one over her taunters as a result by having the guy and showing remarkable ability to be nice with little effort. They both kiss for the 2nd time although not determined who decided it to make it offical, though they begin to realize to that they are growing up.

When they go to Jaune and Johanna's wedding, the two serve as the maid of honor and best man to them and the adults suspect their wedding is next or Lydia's parental figures despite what Hilda thought with Frida and Clyde.

Aftermath and dealing with their tormentor

It does turn out that their move to go more open for Sadie Hawkins resulted in the school and Lincoln's family to become aware of the relationship between them. They were voted "cutest couple" by the yearbook commitee which Lydia found was uncomfortable as she is not into that stuff, apart from being around him. The two settle into their plan to spend summer with their friends Truman X, Clyde Mcbride, Will Robinson, Erica Wang and Nate Wright. Their relationship upgrade and actions even got passed on to others like Chelesa and Larke Tanner. Lydia and Lincoln are also out to be a spy/detective/karate student team as they work against N.Tropy's crew and to investigate the death of the Team Free WIll Team with the help of The Streaming Resistance, Bender and Anti Cosmo.

Book 2: Interlude see them celebrate their 12th birthday with Lydia celebrating at the start and Lincoln a bit later on. The two work together with Bender, Deathstroke and their allies to deal with the shattering timeline and eventually discover N.Tropy is beind everything and he killed Ford their leader. He discovered the two were dating and unlike most of the secrets Lydia has had, he got why she did this. Book 3 see the two work together through their grief together as a result of Ford and Lincoln's grandparents.

The Unown Threat

The two work together on their own to go after The Unown King while Ford leads the rest of the team against it. Their on and off alliance with Team Rocket's Jessie, James and Meowth persists despite them serving Giovanni. It will also be revealed that they had help from other allies when it came to the Unown King.

The Future

It was revealed that the two are still together in their mid and early 20s and have moved into together. They are living in the rural respectively and are acting as a detective and special agent to break their cycle they have been put into by using their desire to help others to be a career choice. They also secretingly helped Neo Vought International deal with their own threats

As Streamverse confirmed they have in secret being married for a few years. As old habits do die hard for them as only Jaune Arc, Johanna and Erica Wang (As Grace Wain) are aware of this.

Trying to find some normalness

They get involved in the halloween adventure while they intially ghost the others to have a normal life in a sleepover and going to Whoop Up Days, they are found by Bender and Anti Cosmo who bring them up to case. The two do help, though they decide to try the balance their lives with trick or treating, spending a day goofing in New York when looking for the ghost busters, etc. This is a point where the two begin to question if they really want a lifestyle dominated by this.
