General Donald Doyle is a character from Red vs. Blue.
He is voiced by Gray G. Haddock.
Doyle is the current leader of the Federal Army of Chorus, formerly a personal secretary to the Brigadier.
Despite his role as a General, which should be serious and strict, Doyle is polite and fainthearted, as he has full understanding for the situation that the Reds and Blues are going through, as well as acknowledging the fact that even though he can order his men(as well as Locus) not to shoot their friends, he CANNOT stop them from defending themselves.
He promises that he will let the Reds and Blues leave Chorus after the Civil War is over, but without full garuantee due to the fact that auto-turrets shoot down ship coming in and/or going out.
Later, after Team Blood Gulch revealed the true motives of the Space Pirates, he and Vanessa Kimball, leader of the New Republic, form a temporary truce and agree to fight UNSC Oversight Sub-Committee Chairman Malcom Hargrove and Charon Industries.
Later, in order to stop the Space Pirates assault on Armonia, and after everyone was evacuated from the city, Doyle selflessly sacrifices himself by destroying the city's Nuclear Reactor, killing himself, the majority of the Space Pirates, and destroying the city in order to further sever the traitorous Chairman's plans.
After this, Kimball assumes leadership of both the New Republic and the Federal Army of Chorus as Doyle's last wish.
