Dilophosaurus (InGen Clones)

The InGen Dilophosaurus are clones of the species of early Jurassic theropod Dilophosaurus wetherilli that was planned to be the first dinosaur seen in the original Jurassic Park tour, they when fully grown stand at 6 feet / 1.8 meters tall and over 20 feet / 6.1 meters long. The InGen Dilophosaurus also called the: Dilophosaurus, Dilos, or Spitters for short or as nicknames. The Dilophosaurus had three major features not seen in their ancient ancestors, that's the lack of a upper jaw notch, a large brightly colored neck frill, and the ability to spit out a potent venom / poison. While looking entirely adorable when young, they quickly become scary when they mature, being able to slash open someone's chest with a single slash. The Spitters would often act nice and passive to lure prey close, before releasing their rattling frill and spitting their venom into the eyes of their prey to blind them, if not they will simply chase down and try to maul their prey. The Dilophosaurus are noted to live in packs when their young, but often acting more solitary when matured. The Dilophosaurus can be found in on both Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna. Dilophosaurus are often quite stealthy and speedy, capable of sneaking up and taking down with others noticing.

Creation[]

The Dilophosaurus was created by InGen on Isla Sorna in the early 90s before 10 were shipped over the Isla Nublar while 16 were left on Isla Sorna, the Dilophosaurus were created for the Original Jurassic Park.

Powers and Abilities[]

Venom - The Dilophosaurus can spit out venom, this venom often gives a burning effect and if often shot towards the eyes.
Claws - The Dilophosaurus use their claws to climb and slash at prey.
Tail - The Dilophosaurus can use their tails to smack or knock over a foe.
Speed - The Dilophosaurus are extremely fast and can easily keep up with a motorcycle.
