"Find. Kill. Cleanse." - the D.J.D. motto
The Decepticon Justice Division is a division of the Decepticon army that handles justice. And by justice, we mean "unmarked graves". That is, assuming there's enough left of their victims to bury.
Traitors, deserters, and any manner of transgressors to the Decepticon cause end up on "The List", and are targeted by these enforcers of Megatron's will. If the rumors are to be believed, they always find their quarry, and execute them in the messiest fashion possible to make an example of them. Several of them are living torture devices, either having horrific instruments of pain built into their bodies, or having alternate modes that become such devices. As a group, they're even able to take down the mighty Phase Sixers. So fearsome is their reputation that many Decepticons prefer suicide to waiting for the D.J.D. to find them... unfortunately, many Decepticons only find out they were on The List right as the D.J.D. arrive. Obviously, this makes them incredibly unpopular among the rank-and-file, many wondering just what level of minor infraction will get you on The List in the first damn place.
Their usual killing fields are in the proximity of the planet Messatine, and they pursue targets in their spaceship the Peaceful Tyranny.
The group's lineup has changed over the years, but its core five members always use the same five code-names: those of the first five cities to fall to the Decepticons. Should one member die, another Decepticon is eventually selected to take their place and name. Only the group's leader, Tarn, is known to have been in the group from the start.
Because their domain is death, the DJD is feared as a group of death gods by the Children of the Autobots.
LOTM: The Angels Return[]
The Decepticon Justice Division was very angry about the betrayals of Starscream and Knockout. "You may have the Angels, but we will have the traitors." Tarn said to the strange cult of villains. And the DJD made good on those words. They were more than determined to bring Starscream and Knockout to their master's sense of "justice". To make matters worse, they seemed to have taken over Disney!
The DJD also proved to be VERY formidable opponents, shrugging off almost every attack and brutally bringing members of Team Disney Angel to their knees.
It seemed that all was well after Angron used a fraction of his deathly power to bring down the DJD. But as they lay there, Tarn's eyes began to burn red, indicating that this is not the last we will see of the Decepticon Justice Division...
Members[]
These are the known members of the DJD that appear in LOTM. As death gods, they have different domains of death. They are as follows:
- Tarn (leader) - has canonically the ability to talk Transformers to death as he can use his voice to shut down electronic devices and even extinguish Transformer Sparks. He is the god of natural deaths, such as old age, organ failures, heart attack, stroke, cancer, and so on.
- Tesarus - a simple brute with large claws and a grinder for a stomach. He is the god of death through physical harm, such as cuts, lacerations, crushing, stabbing, blunt force, and so on.
- Helex - has a furnace for his center torso. He is the god of environmental deaths, which include extreme temperatures of hot and cold, drowning, suffocation, radiation, etc.
- Kaon - transforms into an electric chair. He is the god of chemical deaths, which include electrocution, poison, burning, and potentially diseases as well.
- Vos - the smallest and the most mysterious member of the team and speaks only in Primal Vernacular (ancient Cybertronian) which only few people understand. He is the god of unknown causes of death.
